To put it mildly, it was amazing. The other participants were all nice people, and it became a fun memory. Here are the good and bad points:
Good points:
- The guide was fun and engaging.
- Although it was cloudy at first, the weather didn't matter much inside the cave.
- The cave was mystical and absolutely fantastic.
Bad points:
- Carrying the canoe at the end was unexpectedly difficult.
- There were many people from other tours, so we had to wait a bit to enter.

✨We challenged ourselves to snorkeling for the first time as a family!♂️✨ We were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the blue ocean that spread out before us. I was moved by the beautiful fish and the stunning coral reefs that I saw up close for the first time.
Before snorkeling, I had various worries, such as whether I could breathe underwater and if I would know how to move in the sea. However, thanks to our instructor, Tetsu, who taught us patiently, we were able to get used to it quickly.
Once we entered the water, it felt like we had stepped into a new world✨. We were welcomed by coral reefs and various fish that we usually don't see. The colorful fish swam around us, and I was mesmerized by the beauty of the coral reefs. Swimming underwater was different from usual; it felt like I was swimming like a fish♂️. I was surprised by the variety of fish! We even got to see clownfish, coral, and sea turtles, making for a truly luxurious experience. Each creature had its own personality, and I was happy to observe each one.
Through snorkeling, I was able to learn about the ocean. I felt like we became a part of the diverse life that exists underwater. Additionally, I was able to face myself in the ocean and felt a sense of inner peace♂️.
We also paddled to Pumpkin Hall. The tide was high, and I was a bit worried about the rough waves, but we arrived without any issues. Once we entered Pumpkin Hall, the water got deeper, and I felt anxious because I couldn't touch the bottom, but wearing a life jacket helped me float, and my anxiety quickly turned into a sense of security. I want those who are not good at swimming to know that there’s no need to worry. We had a rare experience that could only be accessed from the sea, climbing and jumping while listening to explanations in a mystical limestone cave.
We were blessed with good weather and sea conditions, and I had a wonderful experience, feeling grateful for various people and nature. I definitely want to repeat this experience!✨ Thank you for a lovely day.
With a small group and safety measures in place, I encourage everyone to try the snorkeling and canoeing adventure at Pumpkin Hall!♂️✨
✨家族で初めてシュノーケリングに挑戦しました！♂️✨目の前に広がる海の青さに、息をのむほど美しい海の世界に魅了されました 初めて身近に目にする美しい魚たちや珊瑚礁の美しさに感動しました
シュノーケリングをする前は様々な心配事がありました水中で息をすることができるのか、海の中での動き方がわからないのではないか等です。しかし、インストラクターのテツさんが丁寧に教えてくださったため、すぐに慣れることができました
海の中に入ると、私たちは新しい世界に足を踏み入れたような感覚を覚えました✨普段私たちが目にすることのない、珊瑚礁や様々な魚たちが私たちを迎えてくれました綺麗な色の魚たちが私たちの周りを泳ぎ、珊瑚礁の美しさには見惚れました水中で泳ぐことは普段とは異なり、まるで自分が魚のように泳いでいるような感覚を覚えました♂️色々な種類の魚がいて驚きました！クマノミやサンゴ、ウミガメにも会うことができ、とても贅沢な時間を過ごすことができましたそれぞれの生き物には個性があり、その一つ一つを観察することができたのが嬉しかったです
シュノーケリングを通じて、海について学ぶことができました海の中には多様な生き物が存在し、私たちはその一部になれたような気がしましたまた、海の中で自分自身と向き合うことができ、心の平静さを感じることができました♂️
そして、パンプキンホールには、カヌーを漕いで行きました大潮だったので少し波が荒く心配しましたが、問題なく到着できましたパンプキンホールに入ると水深が深くなり足がつかなく不安になりましたが、ライフジャケットを着ているとしっかりと浮いて、あっという間に不安が安心感に変わりました泳ぎが苦手な方にも心配ない事を知って欲しいと思いました神秘的な鍾乳洞で説明を聞きながら登ったり飛び降りたりと海からしか行けない貴重な体験ができました
天気にも海況にも恵まれ、素晴らしい体験ができ、様々な方や自然界に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです 是非またリピートしたいと思います✨素敵な一日をありがとうございました

My first trip to Miyako Island.
I participated in a tour plan with two girls that allowed us to fully enjoy the sea of Miyako Island, including Pumpkin Cave, snorkeling, and canoeing. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and a bit chilly, but we powered through it.
First, we experienced snorkeling in the morning. We were continuously amazed and moved by the beauty of the sea around Miyako Island. We saw corals, many fish, and even the long-awaited sea turtles, which made us very satisfied.
In the afternoon, we had the Pumpkin Cave and canoeing experience. We traveled to the cave by kayak. At first, we struggled to move forward unless we paddled together, but once we got the hang of it, we were able to pick up speed and it was fun. It might require a bit of physical strength. Also, the cave revealed a mystical and fantastical view after climbing the walls. On the way back, we experienced the thrill of jumping into the sea from the wall we climbed, which was exhilarating. Even I, who have a fear of heights, managed to jump.
It was a very enjoyable tour, and the time flew by. We were taken care of by two guides who were very thorough and easy to understand in their explanations. They constantly checked in with us during the tour, allowing us to participate with peace of mind. Thank you very much.
I made wonderful memories.
This is definitely a tour I recommend experiencing when you visit Miyako Island.
初の宮古島旅行。
パンプキン鍾乳洞、シュノーケリング、カヌーと宮古島の海を満喫できるツアープランに女子２人で参加しました。天候はあいにくの曇りで、少し肌寒さはありましたが、気合いで乗り切りました。
まず、午前中にシュノーケリング体験。宮古島の海の綺麗さに驚きと感動の連続でした。サンゴやたくさんの魚、さらに念願のウミガメを見ることができ、とても満足です。
午後はパンプキン鍾乳洞とカヌー体験。鍾乳洞まではカヤックで移動しました。２人で力を合わせて漕がないと前に進まず初め手こずりましたが、コツを掴むとスピードも出せて楽しかったです。ちょっと体力は必要かも。また、鍾乳洞は壁を登った先に神秘的で幻想的な景色が広がっていました。帰りは登った壁から海に飛び込むスリルさも体験でき、ワクワク感を味わえました。高所恐怖症の私でも飛び込めました。
とても楽しいツアーで、時間があっという間でした。今回、２人のガイドさんにお世話になりました。説明が丁寧でわかりやすく、ツアー中は常に声をかけてくださり、安心してツアーに参加することが出来ました。ありがとうございます。
最高の思い出ができました。
宮古島旅行に来た際はぜひ、体験してほしいツアーです。オススメです。

The meeting place is the parking lot. Here, we changed into wetsuits and walked to the beach. We paddled about 300 meters in the canoe, but with the waves, it was difficult and we capsized. That's why we wear life jackets. I managed to get the canoe back, but it was quite a struggle to get back in. Before the entrance to the cave, we got out of the canoe and walked through the water, then prayed at the entrance. There's only enough space for one person to enter at a time, so depending on the tide, you might not be able to get in. I was moved by the large stalactites, and just when I thought it was over, we climbed up onto the stalactites. Water was flowing like a waterfall, but it was not seawater; it was groundwater. When I shone my flashlight, I saw various colored stalactites forming curtains and tables, and we had to walk carefully not to damage them. It goes quite deep, giving a sense of exploration. I felt like I was training under the pure water shower from the underground spring. During this trip, I participated in three activities, but this was the most memorable and an adventure you can't miss when visiting Miyako Island. I understood the age limit of 65 years old. However, I highly recommend it.
集合場所は駐車場。ここでウェットスーツに着替えて、海岸まで徒歩移動。約300メートルほどカヌーで移動するが、波があると横波なので転覆してしまった。ライフジャケット着ているわけだ。なんとか自力でカヌーを戻すが、乗り込むのに一苦労。鍾乳洞入り口手前でカヌーを降り海の中を歩き、入り口で参拝。一人一人入れるくらいのスペースしかない入り口。潮位によっては入れないわけだ。大きな鍾乳石に感動し、これで終わりか？と思ったら、鍾乳石の上に登る。滝のように水が流れているが、これは海水ではなく地下水。懐中電灯で照らすと、いろいろな色な鍾乳石がカーテン状やテーブルになっていて、そこを壊さないように歩く。結構奥まであって探検気分。奥の清い水シャワーのような地下水に打たれて修行気分になる。今回の旅行では3回アクティビティに参加したが、最も印象に残り、宮古島に来たら外せないアドベンチャーであった。65歳までの年齢制限に納得した。しかし、強くお勧めします。

I participated on a warm, sunny day on March 10. The weather was good, but there was some wind, making canoeing quite challenging, and there were capsizes. Two staff members helped, but it required some effort. When we finally reached the cave, we turned off our videos to pay our respects since it was a sacred place. As we swam in, I expected a smooth surface like a pumpkin, but it actually felt rough. Water was flowing down from above like a waterfall. From here, we explored inside the cave. In other caves, you absolutely cannot touch the stalactites, but while you can't touch everything here, you have to touch some things.

It was my first time in Miyako Island. I decided to join a one-day tour for SUP and snorkeling because I wanted to feel the island up close. During the morning SUP session, I was a beginner, but the guide was kind and taught me carefully. I started off paddling while sitting, but soon I was able to stand and paddle, which felt amazing. Unfortunately, during the afternoon snorkeling, I didn't get to see any sea turtles, but I was able to observe various fish in the coral reefs, which was a lot of fun. Overall, it was a very valuable experience throughout the day.
初めての宮古島でした。島を肌で感じたいと言うことで、SUP＋シュノーケリングの1日ツアーに参加を決めました。午前のSUPでは初心者でしたがガイドの方が優しく丁寧に教えてくださり、最初は座って漕いでいましたが、すぐに立って漕ぐことができるようになりとても気持ちよかったです。午後のシュノーケリングでは残念ながら海亀に会うことはできませんでしたが、サンゴ礁で様々なお魚を観察することができとても楽しかったです。1日を通してとても貴重な体験ができました。

I don't think I'll have a trip like this many times in my life, but I was very satisfied. I'm glad I participated in this tour.

This was my first time visiting Miyako Island. I was anxious about snorkeling for the first time, but the guide was very thorough in teaching me from the beginning. Thanks to that, I was able to snorkel gracefully in the beautiful, clear sea and see many fish and the long-desired sea turtles, which made me very satisfied!
The Pumpkin Cave offered a fantastical view that was a unique experience. I felt like all my daily worries and anxieties were cleansed. I definitely want to visit again.
Thanks to the two guides, I had a very enjoyable tour. Especially Yamatо, who taught me many things throughout the day. The recommended izakaya after the tour was also very delicious.

Ah! I had the most amazing and fun memories. My family of three participated together. The staff member was incredibly kind, and we had a wonderful time. They also kindly recommended delicious places for lunch. Canoeing was a first-time experience for me, and everything was new, but thanks to the careful guidance and explanations, I was able to challenge myself without any anxiety. It was my son's and his girlfriend's first trip to Miyako Island. I was impressed by the mystical Pumpkin Cave. Canoeing was a bit challenging, but it became an unforgettable experience. I ended up with a little muscle soreness. Haha. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles, but we saw plenty of beautiful fish. I was also moved by the beautiful sea and got to see many cute Nemo-like fish. We saw a lot of colorful fish as well. I definitely want to come back to Miyako Island for a revenge trip. The guide was kind and taught us very well, so thank you for all the fun memories.

It was slightly cloudy, with winds at 8 meters. It was really cold! However, they lent us wetsuits, and our tour guide Yamato really got us excited, making it a very enjoyable day!!
We saw three sea turtles. The limestone cave was mystical and beautiful. Yamato took a lot of pictures for us.
Above all, since the participants for the morning snorkeling and the afternoon canoeing & limestone cave tour were the same, we really bonded during the afternoon canoeing & limestone cave tour, making it a truly fun day.
I would definitely like to participate again if I have the chance.

I was surprised that payment was confirmed on the reservation date, almost as if it was prepaid by card. However, the experience itself was very good.
It was 15,000 yen per person, but I had an experience that was worth more than the amount. Miyako Island only had the sea to enjoy.
In the morning, I couldn't encounter any sea turtles, but the sea was beautiful, and I was able to see clownfish. The instructor was kind, and they recommended a delicious place for lunch.
In the afternoon, we were caught in a bit of rain, but the canoeing and the limestone cave were definitely worth it. The only downside was that I was told I might lose my glasses, so I took them off and couldn't see very well.
Next time, I think I'll bring disposable contact lenses to enjoy it even more.
On the day, it was 20°C, which was 5°C lower than the previous day. They provide wetsuits, but I was glad I brought something to wear underneath. It was a bit cold in just the wetsuit.
We talked as a family about going to Miyako Island again. Thank you to the instructor!
当初はカード払いで先払いかというぐらい、予約日に支払いが確定していたのは驚いたが、内容については非常に良かった。
一人15000円でしたが金額以上の体験をさせて貰いました。宮古島は海しか楽しみも無かったが。
午前中は海亀と遭遇出来なかったが、海は綺麗でカクレクマノミは見れました。インストラクターさんも親切で昼の食堂も美味しい所を教えてくれました。
午後からは少し雨に降られましたが、カヌーと鍾乳洞は行く価値ありでした。ただ残念なのはメガネは失くすかもしれないと言われ外したのであまり見えなかった。
次回は使い捨てのコンタクトを持って行くようにすればもっと楽しめると思う。
当日は20℃と前日より5℃低めであった。ウェットスーツは貸してくれるが中に着るものを用意しておいて良かった。ウェットスーツだけでは少し寒かった。
また宮古島へ行こうね。と家族で話し合いました。

The forecast for the day was cloudy, but we were blessed with clear skies, allowing us to create wonderful memories from our trip. The dive from the top of the limestone cave and the experience of riding a kayak were both firsts for me, and I had an amazing time. It was a very satisfying tour! Although it was a bit rainy, I was worried it might be too cold to go into the sea, but thanks to the diving suit, it wasn't that cold. We traveled by kayak to Pumpkin Cave and swam inside the cave. The inside of Pumpkin Cave was very mystical. The guide was very attentive in showing and explaining everything inside the cave. We were able to take commemorative photos in front of the pumpkin and at the power spot, and the next day we could check the photos digitally. I'm really glad I participated. I would definitely recommend this tour when traveling to Miyako Island. However, please note that in winter, the winds can be strong and the tour may not be held, so it would be good to hope for a few days of good weather.

I participated in this tour in late February. Unfortunately, the weather was bad on the day of my reservation, so I had to cancel the morning session I originally booked. Since I had planned my trip around this tour, I was happy to hear that I could join the afternoon session, so I quickly confirmed my participation!

I participated in the latter half of February. They provided wetsuits, shoes, fins, life jackets, and snorkel masks. When I entered the sea, it was cold enough to feel a chill, but I was having so much fun that I forgot about the cold! I wore my swimsuit underneath. The guide was very helpful in explaining how to wear the mask properly. They also applied anti-fog, so I could see clearly underwater without any fogging! I was thrilled to see the long-awaited sea turtles and clownfish up close right after joining the tour. I was able to bring my phone, and they took photos for us and sent the data, which was very helpful. We kayaked to the Pumpkin Cave, and there were various explanations, making it very satisfying. After the tour, they provided hot water, which was a nice service to warm up my body.

As a family that loves the ocean, we have visited numerous beaches both domestically and internationally. While we had been focusing on overseas beaches, the impact of COVID made traveling abroad a bit cumbersome, so this time we visited Miyako Island for the first time. I had been to Okinawa's main island a few times, but this was my first visit to an outer island. I naively thought that Miyako Island wouldn't be much different from the main island of Okinawa, but I was completely wrong! Honestly, as someone who loves the ocean, it was at a level I didn't want to share.
First, we encountered sea turtles while snorkeling. The conditions were not great due to strong winds, but shortly after starting the tour, we came across a sea turtle. I have met sea turtles several times overseas, but the ones in Miyako Island were small and incredibly cute, which made me very happy! 海好き家族につき、国内外数々のビーチを訪れています。何となく海外のビーチに注力していたのですが、コロナの影響もあり海外を訪れるのは少々面倒‥と言う事もあって、今回初めて宮古島を訪れました。沖縄は本島に数回行ってはいたのですが、離島は初めてでした。勝手な解釈で、宮古島も沖縄本島と大差無いんじゃ無い？と軽く考えてお邪魔したのですが‥、とんでもない！いや、正直、海好きの私としては教えたく無いレベルの高さでした。まず、ウミガメ&シュノーケル、この日は風も強く、良いとはお世辞でも言えない位のコンディションだったのですが、ツアーを初めてから間も無くウミガメと遭遇。海外でも何度かウミガメとお会いして来ましたが、宮古島のウミガメは小さくてとても可愛らしく大満足！勿論カクレクマノミの親子やその他何種類もの可愛いお魚さん達にも会えました！その後は鍾乳洞ツアー、こちらも宮古島でしか出来ない貴重な体験が出来て大満足の1日でした！是非またオンシーズンにもお邪魔してみたいと思いました！

I participated in snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Although it was February, the weather was nice, so it wasn't as cold as I expected. During snorkeling, I was able to meet a sea turtle that was eating. The sea turtle, happily munching away, was so cute and soothing! It was also a lot of fun to swim slowly among many fish.
For SUP, we moved to a different location and experienced it in another part of the ocean. I was worried about whether I could balance on the board, but the guide carefully taught me how to ride and gave me tips, so I was able to enjoy it. It was a lot of fun to experience it while gazing at the beautiful waters of Okinawa.
It turned out to be a wonderful day filled with great memories. Thank you!

2月ですが天候が良かったこともあり、思ったよりも寒くなかったです。
シュノーケリングでは、ご飯中のウミガメに会うことができました。おいしそうにご飯を食べているウミガメはとってもかわいくて癒されました！

During my first visit to Miyako Island in February, I was very worried about whether I could swim in the ocean during winter, but wearing a wetsuit allowed me to enjoy the experience comfortably without feeling cold.
At first, I was a bit confused about how to reach the entrance of the cave by kayak, but thanks to our guide, Tetsu, who kept the energy high, we were able to progress happily.
When we arrived at the limestone cave, I was captivated by its grandeur. I even encountered a sea snake, which is something you rarely come across on the mainland.
Since you can only access it from the water, there's no way we could have reached it on our own. I highly recommend this activity as a must-do for anyone visiting Miyako Island.

I originally booked a tour for the Pumpkin Cave and snorkeling, but although it wasn't raining on the day, the wind was strong, and we couldn't enter the Pumpkin Cave, so I changed to a snorkeling-only tour.
I was anxious before participating because of the strong winds and high waves, but once in the water, it was calm, and the visibility was high, allowing us to see many beautiful fish.
Towards the end of the tour, I finally got to meet a sea turtle and was so moved to swim with it for a while. I participated with my mother, who was snorkeling for the first time and was scared at first due to the rough sea, but thanks to the support of our instructor Tetsuya, she ended up having a great time and said it became her favorite memory from our trip to Miyako Island.
Thank you for taking so many beautiful photos. When I come back to Miyako Island, I would like to request activities from this tour company again. I hope the next instructor will also be Tetsuya! 😊
もともとパンプキン鍾乳洞とシュノーケリングのツアーを予約していたのですが、当日は雨は降っていないものの風が強く、パンプキン鍾乳洞は入れないとのことで、シュノーケリングのみのツアーに変更し参加しました。
風が強く波が高くて参加するまでは不安でしたが、海の中はそんなことを感じさせないくらい穏やかで透明度も高く綺麗な魚がたくさん見れました。
そして、ツアー終盤には念願のウミガメにも会えて、しばらく一緒に泳げてとても感動しました。
母親と一緒に参加したのですが、母はシュノーケリングが初めてで海も荒れており初めは怖がっていましたが、インストラクターのてつやさんのサポートのお陰で最後にはとても楽しんでおり、今回の宮古島の旅行の中での1番楽しくていい思い出になったと話してました。
綺麗な写真もたくさん撮っていただきありがとうございました。
また宮古島に来た時にはこちらのツアー会社でアクティビティをお願いしたいと思います。

The guides, Sakamoto and TOSHI, were very kind and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable experience! In the morning, it was totally fine not to swim while snorkeling, but it was a bit cold, haha. However, I was moved to encounter two sea turtles! In the afternoon, we headed to Pumpkin Cave by kayak! I’m feeling quite sore from the muscles... But working together with my partner to finally arrive was a great memory! Pumpkin Cave was very impressive!
Personally, I really appreciated that they provided a dry wetsuit for the afternoon instead of reusing the wet one from the morning snorkeling (^^)! Also, they had warm water ready for us after coming out of the sea, which was a nice touch since I was feeling quite cold.
They took way more photos than I expected (actually a lot)!
The instructors were very kind and fun, so I definitely recommend everyone to give it a try (^^)!
担当してくれたガイド坂本さんとTOSHIさんが優しく丁寧に対応してくれて、とても楽しい思い出になりました！！
午前中はシュノーケル泳がなくても全然大丈夫でした！ただ寒かったw
でも海亀ちゃん2匹と出会えたのが感動！！

This time, I had a one-day experience with canoeing and snorkeling. The weather wasn't great and it was cold, but I had a lot of fun. I chose canoeing, but I also got to try stand-up paddleboarding, so I enjoyed both! The wind was strong, but paddling hard helped ease the cold. Snorkeling was really, really cold, but in the end, I was able to encounter a turtle, which made for a great memory despite the chill. The staff were also very polite, and they took some nice photos for us, which was great.

This time, I participated in sea turtle snorkeling and SUP!
For the sea turtle snorkeling, there were about 15 of us, including our group, divided into family/couple teams and a young, energetic men's team, with one staff member assigned to each team. I appreciated the thoughtful arrangement of separating the groups into families and couples.
We were in the family/couple team, and the staff member assigned to us was cheerful and lively, making it enjoyable for us. They explained how to use and wear the equipment and the points of interest clearly. We were able to encounter sea turtles, which was very satisfying!
For the SUP, there were four of us, including our group, and two in a canoe, with activities at different locations. I was very happy that the staff member who handled the snorkeling was also in charge of the SUP. I was nervous since it was my first time on a SUP, but I had a great experience chatting with the staff and other participants!
Even though it was February, the water temperature wasn't cold at all. However, it was indeed chilly after getting out of the sea. It seems like having extra towels would be beneficial. The staff prepared bottles of warm water, which helped a lot for washing off sand and rinsing our feet!
They also took commemorative photos underwater and during the SUP, and sent the photo data on the same day! It might be difficult to send the data on the same day during busy periods, but I think they will send it quickly! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

ウミガメシュノーケリングでは私達含め約15名程いましたが、家族・カップルチームと、若い元気なメンズチーム、スタッフさんが1名ずつ各チームに付いてくれました。団体さんと家族・カップルで分けてチーム編成してくれる気配りが良かったです。
私達は家族・カップルチームで、担当してくださったスタッフさんは元気で明るい方で、一緒に楽しめました。道具の使い方や付け方、ポイント等も分かりやすく説明してくれました。
ウミガメにも遭遇することができ、満足でした！
SUPでは私達含め4名、カヌー2名で場所を変えてのアクティビティでした。シュノーケリングを担当していただいたスタッフさんがSUPでも担当ということで、とても嬉しかったです。
初めてのSUPで緊張しましたが、スタッフさん、他の参加者さんともお話ししながら楽しく体験できました！
2月でしたが、どちらも水温は冷たくなかったです。しかし、海から上がった後はさすがに寒かったです。タオルも余分にあった方が何かと良さそうです。スタッフさんがぬるま湯の入ったペットボトルを用意してくださり、砂を落としたり足を洗ったりと、とても助かりました！
海中での記念撮影、SUPの時も撮影してくださり、その日のうちに写真データを送っていただきました！繁忙期だとその日のうちにデータ送付は難しいかもしれませんが、すぐ送っていただけると思います！

We canoed close to the limestone cave, climbed up a pumpkin, and dove into the sea on the way back!
It was a bit physically challenging, but thanks to our guide Tetsu and the team, we were able to participate in the tour safely and enjoyably.
The limestone cave was mystical, and it was a wonderful experience. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to join again.
