Miyako Island
We started the day with snorkeling at Shigira Beach. It was high tide, and we encountered a sea turtle right at the beginning of the tour. We were able to see beautiful corals and many lovely fish, including clownfish.
After finishing snorkeling, we dispersed for a bit and then regrouped at the next meeting point. It was raining and there were waves, so I felt a bit anxious about trying kayaking for the first time, but we received thorough instructions before starting, so it was fine.
The Pumpkin Cave was breathtaking, with a mystical space unfolding inside. It was worth the effort to get there. The instructors shared various information about the ocean and Miyako Island during the tour, and we had a wonderful and enjoyable time.

満潮のタイミングでした。ツアー開始早々にウミガメさんに遭遇することが出来ました。綺麗な珊瑚、カクレクマノミをはじめ沢山の綺麗なお魚を見る事が出来ました。
シュノーケリング終了後、一度解散し、次の集合場所に再集合しました。
雨も降っており、波もあったので初体験のカヤックに不安もありましたが、しっかりとレクチャーを受けてからスタートするので大丈夫でした。
パンプキン鍾乳洞は中に入ると神秘的な空間が広がっており感動しました。頑張ってたどり着いたかいがありました。
インストラクターの方々がツアー中に色々と海の事や宮古島の事をお話ししてくださり楽しい素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。

3月、4月に行かれる際は、替えの服やバスタオルは必須かと思われます。一応、運営側から温水を頂けましたが、暖かいのは一瞬ですぐに風による寒さが体を蝕みます。一刻も早い保温と着替えをオススメします笑

I was most looking forward to the Pumpkin Cave in Miyako Island. First, we paddled for about 15 minutes in a kayak, making our way through the incredibly clear sea towards the cave.
As we entered through the small opening, we were greeted by a mystical space. Our guide, Hide, provided a rope for us to climb up to the top of the cave, and the adventure began.
