Snow Walk at Murodo-daira
The tour starts from Hotel Tateyama at an altitude of 2,450 m. The guide will explain Tateyama’s snow, wildlife, and natural environment while walking through the area.

Restrictions
- Participants who are minors at the time of booking must submit a parental consent form. Additionally, participants under 15 years old at the start of the tour must be accompanied by a guardian.
- If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
Other requirements
- Heavy congestion is expected on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, especially on weekends and holidays. Please allow extra time for your visit.
- If the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is suspended on the day of the tour due to weather conditions (such as snowfall that cannot be cleared), or if it is determined that the tour cannot be conducted safely (for example, when weather warnings are issued or severe weather is expected), the tour will be canceled.
If the tour is canceled, or if there is a high possibility of cancellation, we will contact you in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
Booking requirements (# of participants, vehicles, hours, etc.)
- You can book a maximum of 6.
Required items to bring & attire
- During the tour period, the average daytime temperature ranges from 5°C to 10°C, so winter clothing is necessary. In case of bad weather, snow may fall.
- On sunny days, the reflection from the snow can be very strong, so sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.
- Most of the walking paths in Murodo-daira are covered with snow. For walking, we recommend non-slip shoes with textured soles and good waterproofing.
