The guide was amazing! I had a great day at an unbeatable price! The lunch was substantial, and I was very satisfied. I was able to take advantage of a great deal and signed up just a day in advance, and I'm really glad I did!

Due to COVID-19, I traveled around Yakushima while being mindful of social distancing. Since it was a solo trip and time was limited, I was really happy to efficiently visit the sightseeing spots in just one day. The guide provided detailed explanations, and I fell in love with Yakushima's nature. Thank you very much. I would like to visit again to receive the power of the gods.

コロナでしたので、ソーシャルディスタンスに気をつけながら屋久島周遊をしました。
一人旅で時間も限られていたので1日効率良く観光地を回れて本当に楽しかったです。
ガイドさんも詳しく説明してくれたので、屋久島の自然が大好きになりました。

The typhoon is passing on the left side of the island, but we started our tour around Yakushima in a counterclockwise direction. While listening to the guide's quiet jokes (which were funny), I learned a bit more about Yakushima.

台風が島の左側通過してるけど、島を反時計回りでスタート　　ガイドさんの静かなボケ（笑うとこ）を聞き流しながら屋久島の事が少し詳しくなりました。

I was able to efficiently explore Yakushima, and the driver's guidance was great. The Yakusugi Land course was 30 minutes instead of the 50-minute course, which worked out better for me since I don't have much stamina. However, I would like to see improvements regarding the guide speaking without a mask and not addressing passengers who weren't wearing masks.

効率よく屋久島を回れ、ドライバーさんのガイドもよかったです。
ヤクスギランドが50分コースでなく３０分コースでしたが、体力がないのでかえってよかったです。
ただガイドをマスクを外して話しておられたり、マスクをしていない乗客の方に注意もされなかったのは、改善していただきたいと思いました。

It was great that the tour was scheduled to match our arrival time, allowing us to make effective use of our time. I was lucky to be guided to the Kawakami Sugi and a scenic bridge in addition to the planned locations. The tour was for the 30-minute course at Yakusugi Land, but I wished we could have gone on the 50-minute course.

到着の時間にあわせたツアーだったので、時間を有効に使えて良かった。
予定の場所以外の川上杉と景観のよい橋の上にも案内していただけたのはラッキーでした。
ヤクスギランドの３０分コースの案内でしたが、５０分コースに行きたかったです。

I requested a half-day course with airport pickup. I participated alone, and although it was by taxi, the driver provided a lot of explanations about Yakushima. I was satisfied to reach the ancient cedar I wanted to see. There was also an explanation about Yakusugi Land. I spent my time very meaningfully right after arriving in Yakushima.

The next day, since the Jomon Cedar tour was canceled, I applied for the morning course over the phone, and that was also a great decision. This time it was by bus, and the bus guide's explanations were truly professional, which made me very satisfied.

Especially for those planning to go through the Western Forest Road, I think the bus tour is the best option without a doubt. No matter how many times I go, I want to leave that road to the driver. The full-day course is more economical, but I think doing half a day each is also a good option.

There’s a sense of satisfaction from being able to circle the island, and I absolutely recommend it.

午後の半日コースを空港ピックアップでお願いしました。１名参加で、タクシーだったのですが、運転士さんがずっと屋久島の説明をしてくれました。行きたかった紀元杉まで行けて満足してます。ヤクスギランドも説明付きでした。屋久島に着いてすぐの時間をとても有意義に過ごせました。
そして次の日。縄文杉ツアーが中止になったので午前のコースを電話で申し込みましたが、こちらも大正解。こちらはバスでしたがバスガイドさんの説明がさすがプロという感じで、大満足です。
特に、西部林道を通る予定の人は、バスツアー一択で、間違い無いかと…。何回目でも、運転手さんにお任せしたい道でした。
１日コースの方がお得ですが、半日づつもありかなと思います。
島を一周できる満足感もあり、絶対にオススメします。

There were no other tour guests, just the two of us, a parent and child. One guide took us around the sightseeing spots in a taxi and explained everything. It was great to receive the original color photo guide map from Matsubanda Group at the beginning.

We heard various stories about the mountains, waterfalls, the origins of names, wild plants, wild strawberries, hot springs, banyan trees, macaques, sika deer, local people's lives, and green sea turtles, which made it really enjoyable.

During the 18 km journey on the Western Forest Road, we saw groups of macaques and sika deer, with a total of 15 sightings (one time, both monkeys and deer appeared at the same time). It truly felt like a safari park. We could also get out of the car and walk. In the forest next to the road, we even saw three sika deer. There’s no other tour that offers such great value for money.

Finally, I was impressed that when I made a sudden request to buy the delicious "Kinko Soy Sauce" from a sushi restaurant on the island, they extended the tour time to stop by the supermarket. I don't think this would have been possible if there had been other tour guests, but even now, looking back at the photos after the trip, I feel very happy about this tour. Next time I participate, I definitely want to request Adachi-san as my guide and driver again.

他のツアー客は居ず、私たち親子2人だけ。1人のガイドさんがタクシーで観光地を回って説明してくれた。まつばんだグループオリジナルのカラー写真入り観光案内図を最初に渡されるのがありがたい。
山、滝、名前の由来、野草、野イチゴ、温泉、ガジュマル、やくざる、やくしか、地元の人の生活、アカウミガメなどいろいろなお話が聴けて本当に楽しかった。
西部林道18kmの道中、やくざるもやくじかもそれぞれ8集団ずつ登場。合計15回も観ることができた(内1回はさるとしかが同時に登場)。まさにサファリパーク状態だった。車を降りて歩くこともできた。道路横の森の中にはやくじか3頭も。こんなにコスパの良いツアーは他にない。
最後に、島内のお寿司屋さんですごくおいしかった「キンコー醤油」を購入したいというこちらの突然のリクエストにも、ツアー時間を延長してスーパーに立ち寄ってくれた対応に感激した。
他のツアー客が居たらここまでできなかったと思うが、旅行後の今も写真を見返しながらとても幸せな気分に浸れるツアーだった。次回参加するときもガイド兼運転手は足立さんを是非指名したい。

I participated in a one-day course on Yakushima for the first time. The guide provided thorough explanations, making it very easy to understand and worthwhile. I encountered Yakuzaru (Japanese macaques) and Yakushika (Yakushima deer), and it was a fulfilling day. I definitely want to participate again.

初めての屋久島で、１日コースに参加しました。ガイドさんの丁寧な説明があり　とても分かりやすくお得でした。やく猿　やく鹿にも出会え、充実した１日でした。また是非参加したいと思います。

I circled around Yakushima. The guide provided detailed explanations, so I felt I could appreciate the beauty of Yakushima much more than if I had driven around in a rental car. I'm glad I participated.

I thought it was definitely a better deal than renting a car, with the wonderful explanations from the guide and lunch included. In the World Heritage area, I was able to see the Japanese macaque and the Japanese serow. I was surprised that they took us by bus to the ancient cedar at an elevation of 1,200 meters.

It was a one-day tour, but they took us to various places, and I had a great time. Thank you very much.

ガイドさんのすばらしい説明あり、昼食ありでレンタカーを借りるよりも断然お得なのではないかと思いました。世界遺産区域ではやくざるとやくしかを見ることができました。バスで標高1,200ｍの紀元杉のところまで連れて行ってくださり驚きました。

The guide was very skilled at explaining things, which was great. They were a guide worthy of a World Heritage site! I considered renting a car to tour Yakushima, but I'm really glad I participated in this course where I could receive explanations. They also provide hotel pick-up.

I was very grateful for the tour that covered places I wanted to visit but thought would be difficult to get to as a paper driver! During the travel, the guide talked about Yakushima in a fun and detailed way, so I never got bored. On the Seibu Forest Road, when we encountered Yakuzaru monkeys and deer, the driver slowed down or stopped, allowing us to take great photos! Thank you!

When it comes to sightseeing in Yakushima, I had the image of a "morning trekking tour," but this tour was perfect for someone like me, who usually prefers indoor activities. They picked me up at my accommodation at 8 AM, and we spent the day visiting the highlights of Yakushima by bus, returning to my accommodation in the evening. The guide and driver provided detailed and interesting information, and their love for Yakushima was evident. I definitely want to visit again in a different season.

屋久島観光といえば、「早朝からのトレッキングツアー」のイメージでしたが、このツアーは朝８時に宿泊先まで迎えに来ていただけ、バスで行ける屋久島の見所を１日かけて回り、夕方にはまた宿泊先まで送っていただけるという、私のような普段はインドア派の人に特にピッタリのツアーです。
ガイド兼運転手さんの丁寧で詳しいお話は興味深く、また屋久島への愛があふれていました。また、違う季節に是非訪れたいと思いました。

On the first day, I arrived on a direct flight from Itami and was picked up for the afternoon tour, which then dropped me off at my accommodation.

On the final day, I participated in the morning tour and returned home on an afternoon flight. A taxi picked me up from the accommodation in the morning, and I joined the bus for a round trip around Yakushima, stopping at the Furusato Market to buy souvenirs before taking a direct flight back to Itami. It was truly an efficient sightseeing experience without any wasted time.

I was able to see two impressive waterfalls and encountered adorable Yakuzaru and Yakushika up close. Above all, the guide's stories were interesting, and I had a great time. Plus, the price was very reasonable, which was a bonus.

Since I can't drive, I really appreciated this kind of tour.

初日は、伊丹からの直行便を降りてすぐに午後コースに拾ってもらい、最後は宿まで送ってもらいました。

最終日は、逆に、午前コースに参加してから午後の飛行機で帰りました。朝宿までタクシーで迎えに来てもらい、バスと合流して屋久島一周、ふるさと市場で降りて土産物を買って直行便で伊丹までと、ホント無駄なく効率的な観光ができました。
迫力ある二つの滝が見られ、可愛いヤクザル、ヤクシカにも至近距離で出会えたし、何よりもガイドさんのお話が面白く、楽しい時間が過ごせました。しかも、お値段が安いのでいうことなしです。

私は運転ができないので、こういうツアーはほんとにありがたかったです。

My first time in Yakushima.
A few minutes after arriving, I boarded the shuttle bus and joined the group participating in the morning tour.
Unfortunately, it was raining, but that was expected, and I was captivated by the scenery from the bus window.
The Yakusugi Land was a 30-minute course, and the guide's stories were fascinating; it went by in no time.
And then there was the Jomon Sugi. Its size was overwhelming and had a dignified presence. It's amazing that you can park the car right next to it.
Due to my flight schedule, I only had half a day this time, but next time I definitely want to do a full-day course and explore all around Yakushima. Thank you for your hospitality.

初めての屋久島。
到着して数分後に迎えのバスに乗り、午前中から参加の皆さまに加わり、ツアースタートです。
残念ながら雨でしたが、それも想定内で、車窓からの景色にくぎづけ。
ヤクスギランドは30分コースで、ガイドさんの話が興味深く、あっと言う間でした。
そして紀元杉。圧倒される大きさで、凛々しい感じ。間近に車を横付けできるのはすごいですね。
飛行機の関係で今回は半日でしたが、次回はぜひ一日コースで、屋久島一周したいと思います。お世話になりました。

Since it happened to be a small group day, I was able to listen closely to the guide's explanations. I was glad to learn in detail about Yakushima's geology, vegetation, and history. There was also plenty of time at each sightseeing point, which was satisfying. The food was delicious as well. It was convenient and appreciated that they provided transportation close to my accommodation.

たまたま少人数の日だったので、ガイドさんの解説をしっかり聞くことができました。屋久島の地質・植生・歴史について詳しく聞けてよかったです。
各見学ポイントでの時間も十分とられており、満足でした。ごはんもおいしかったです。
宿の近くまで送迎してもらえるのも便利でありがたかったです。

On the first day in Yakushima, I used a half-day plan in the afternoon. After landing on a direct flight from Osaka, I was able to start sightseeing in Yakushima right away, making the most of my time. Additionally, I was picked up at the airport and dropped off at my hotel at the end, which helped save on transportation costs.

Since it was an off-season weekday, I was the only participant, and a taxi came to pick me up. The fact that the tour operates even for just one person is impressive. The taxi driver accompanied me on the 50-minute course at Yakusugi Land and provided a thorough guide.

Choosing this course on the first day was the right decision, as it allowed me to gain some background knowledge about Yakushima. With a dedicated private guide for 2,500 yen, the cost performance is remarkable.

屋久島１日目に午後半日プランを利用しました。大阪からの直行便を降りてすぐに屋久島観光に入れるので、時間を無駄なくすごせます。さらに空港で拾ってもらい、最後はホテルまで送ってもらえるので、移動のための費用も節約できます。
オフシーズンの平日だったので、利用者は私だけで、タクシーが迎えにきていました。一人でも催行というのが、このツアーの凄いところです。タクシーの運転手さんが、屋久杉ランドの５０分コースを一緒に回ってくれ、丁寧にガイドしてくださいました。
屋久島の予備知識を仕入れるという意味でも初日にこのコースを選択して正解でした。
貸し切り専属ガイドがついて２５００円ですから、脅威のコストパフォーマンスですね。

I went on a solo trip to Yakushima for 3 nights and 4 days.
- I wanted to make the most of my arrival day in the afternoon.
- I wanted to fully experience the natural beauty of Yakushima.
- Since I was going to Jomon Sugi on the second day, I wanted to conserve my energy and go to bed early on the first day.
- I didn't rent a car, so I wanted round-trip transportation.

I was pondering what could fulfill these four wishes when this tour solved everything for me!
Even though I was the only participant during the off-season, the guide took me around in a taxi and provided detailed and careful explanations about Yakushima one-on-one! I felt lucky to have a private experience.
Not only did I have a great time at Yakusugi Land, but thanks to the wealth of knowledge I gained about Yakushima before going to Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo on the second and third days, the enjoyment of trekking was multiplied many times over.
I highly recommend participating on the first day!

3泊4日の屋久島一人旅に行きました。
・到着日の午後を有意義に過ごしたい
・屋久島の自然の魅力をたっぷり知りたい
・2日目に縄文杉に行くので、初日は体力温存して早く寝たい

I was grateful to be taken back to the hotel after sightseeing. Since we were a small group, it was fun to get to know everyone.

観光の後は宿泊先のホテルまで送っていただき助かりました。少人数で観光するので皆さんと仲良くなれて楽しかったです。

It was a sightseeing tour by taxi, and the driver's explanations were easy to understand, which made my wife satisfied. The fare was reasonable, and we were able to fully enjoy Yakushima. We will use this service again when we visit Yakushima next time.

I was anxious that this might be my last year to take on the challenge due to my age, but the weather was clear, the guide was attentive, and the people in the group I went with were kind. It was great that I could walk all the way to Jomon Sugi without any issues. It was also fantastic to see Mount Miyanoura along the way. The hotel had delicious food, and I enjoyed the local dishes.

年齢から言って挑戦するのは今年が最後かなと不安でしたが、天気は快晴、ガイドさんも丁寧、一緒に行ったグループの人たちも親切、縄文杉まで、無事歩き続けられたのは良かったです。途中宮之浦岳も見られたのも最高でした。ホテルも料理がとても美味しく、地の物を楽しみました。

I was able to learn a lot about Yakushima! Since I don't have a driver's license, I was really grateful for the guided tour that showed us around Yakushima. It seemed to be a time when there were not many people, so I could take photos of the waterfalls and the Jomon Sugi without any worries. I was moved to be able to view the waterfall from such a close distance that I got splashed with water. The Yakuzaru and Yakushima deer were also very cute. The stories about why the Yakusugi trees are so large were really interesting too. Thank you very much!

It was a tour that allowed me to experience the diverse nature of Yakushima in just one day. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I enjoyed interesting discussions ranging from the composition of the forests to the island's way of life.

屋久島をぐるりと一周して、多彩な自然を1日で感じることができたツアーでした。ガイドして下さった方の知識も豊富で、森林の構成の話から島の生活の話まで興味深く、楽しめました。

In the morning, we toured around Yakushima and visited various sightseeing spots, and in the afternoon, we went to Yakusugi Land to see the Jomon cedar. I recommend it for those who cannot drive, as it allows for efficient sightseeing. For lunch, we enjoyed fried flying fish and ponkan juice, which was delicious. The sea at Inakahama, a turtle nesting site, was very beautiful.

午前中に屋久島一周し観光地を回った後、午後からヤクスギランド、紀元杉の見学です。車を運転できない方には効率よく観光地を見ることができるのでオススメです。昼食はトビウオの唐揚げ、ポンカンジュースもついていて、美味しくいただきました。ウミガメの産卵地、いなか浜の海はとても美しかったです。

The guide's explanations were interesting and time flew by. Since the tour moves quickly, you can't spend too long at one place, but you can circle Yakushima in half a day. I only participated in the morning, but we were able to visit Chihiro Falls, Nakama Gajumaru, Okawa Falls, the Seibu Forest Road, and Inakahama all in one go. It's recommended for those who are not good at driving on mountain roads or want to make effective use of their time before departure.

ガイドさんの説明が面白く、あっという間でした。駆け足で回るので、１つの場所にゆっくりはできませんが、半日で屋久島を一周できます。参加したのは午前だけでしたが、千尋の滝、仲間ガジュマル、大川の滝、西部林道、いなか浜を一気に廻ることができ、山道の運転が苦手な人や出発までの時間を有効活用するのにおススメです。

Since I was planning to see Jomon Sugi the day before, I thought I would be tired the next day, so I opted for a bus tour. It allowed me to circle around Yakushima, and I had a great time listening to stories about the island from the guide. I highly recommend it.

前日に縄文杉を見に行く予定だったので、次の日は疲れているだろうと思い、バスツアーにしました。
屋久島を1周できるし、ガイドさんならではの島のお話など聴きながら、楽しく過ごせました。

You can go around the island. The Yakushima monkeys were very cute. The guide was also very enjoyable. I thought it might be good to use a rental car, but I'm glad I participated in the tour.

We used the half-day course in the morning for three family members. Since we had muscle pain from trekking the day before, we opted for the bus tour.

It's convenient because the bus takes you around the island. The time spent at each location is a bit short, but that's understandable for a one-day trip. If you want to take it easy, it's better to explore on your own.

The guide shares various information, but I got the impression that they might be a bit inexperienced. This could vary depending on the guide.

What pleasantly surprised me was being able to see monkeys and deer up close. The waterfall was also closer than I expected.

I recommend this tour for everyone from small children to the elderly. Since the roads in Yakushima are winding, those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take motion sickness medication.

午前中半日コースを家族３人で利用しました。前日がトレッキングで筋肉痛だったのでバスツアーにしました。
バスで島をまわってくれるので、楽ちんです。
各箇所の時間は少し短めですが、一日で回るにはしかたがないかな。
のんびりしたい方はご自身でまわったほうがよいでしょう。

ガイドさんは、色々なことを教えてくれますが少し不慣れなのかなという印象。これは当たり外れがあるかも。

予想外に嬉しかったことは、猿と鹿を間近で見れたこと。滝が思ったより近くで見れたことです。

小さいお子さんからお年寄りまでおすすめのツアーです。
屋久島は道路を細かくカーブするので、酔いやすい人は酔い留め必須です。
