I was amazed at the commitment. I believe due to low volume of customers that day the bus was cancelled. However a taxi was arranged for the sightseeing. The driver cum guide was great and made sure we spend more time in important sites. Overall had a wonderful time.

I was aware that Yakusugi Land was closed due to the heavy rain and flood warning the day before. In fact, the gate was closed on the way to Jomon Sugi. When I returned from exploring Jomon Sugi, I passed by the gate of Yakusugi Land again, and it was open, with tourists coming in and out, possibly because the flood warning had been lifted. Despite this, I passed through the gate. In the end, I went straight to my accommodation without visiting Yakusugi Land, which I was looking forward to the most. My plans were disrupted, and I ended up with extra time on my hands. I wish they had at least guided us when the gate was open. I was disappointed that the price didn’t change. I left wondering what the purpose of my trip to Yakushima was; it was a tour that left a bad aftertaste.

前日の大雨で大雨洪水警報が出ていた時点でヤクスギランドが閉まっていることは承知していました。実際、紀元杉に行く途中はゲートが閉まっていました。紀元杉を散策して戻る際にヤクスギランドのゲート前をもう一度通過するのですが、大雨洪水警報が解除されたのかゲートが空いていて観光客が出入りしていました。にも関わらずゲートを通過。　結局一番楽しみにしていたヤクスギランドに寄らず真っすぐ宿に直行。予定が狂い時間を持て余してしまいました。せめてゲート空いていたら案内して欲しかったです。これで値段が変わらないのにはがっかりでした。何の為に屋久島行ったのか、後味の悪いツアーでした。

I'm glad I was able to take a guided tour since I didn't rent a car. The roads were narrow, and I was impressed by the driver's skills. The flying fish was also delicious.

レンタカーを借りなかったので、ガイド付きでぐるりと廻ることができてよかったです。道は狭く運転手さんの腕にも感激です。トビウオも美味しかったです。

It was a tour conducted amidst the rain, but I was able to enjoy the day thoroughly. Since it covers the entirety of Yakushima, I think it's a perfect tour for first-timers. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and their stories were interesting and fantastic!

雨が降ったり止んだりの中での催行でしたが、一日たっぷり楽しむことができました。
屋久島を全体的に回ってくれるので、初めての方には丁度いいツアーだと思います。
ガイドさんがすごく知識が豊富で、お話が面白く最高でした！

A tour to visit Yakusugi Land and the Jomon Cedar.
I arrived at the airport before noon and had lunch at the airport cafeteria.
It was time for pickup, and the tour began.
From the name Yakusugi Land, I imagined a tourist facility, but it turned out to be a tour walking along a path in the mountains. You can choose between a 30-minute and a 50-minute course, so even those who are not confident in their walking abilities can participate. Even someone like me, who is nearly sixty and not very active, enjoyed the 50-minute course.
After that, we saw the Jomon Cedar and were taken back to the hotel.
The tour included a driver and guide. Seeing the trees while receiving explanations from the guide deepened my understanding and made for a more moving experience.

空港にお昼前に到着し、お昼ご飯を空港の食堂で頂きました。
ピックアップの時間となったので、ツアー出発
屋久杉ランドという名称から、観光施設を想像していましたが、山の中を遊歩道に沿って歩くツアーでした。コースも30分と50分を選べて、歩きに自信のない方でも大丈夫です。ほぼ還暦の運動不足の私でも50分コースを楽しめました。
その後、紀元杉をみて、ホテルまで送ってもらうツアーです。
運転手兼ガイド付き。ガイドに説明を受けながら木を見ると、理解も深まり、より感動的な体験となります。

I arrived at Yakushima just after 11 o'clock. I felt it would be a waste to miss out on half of the first day, so I joined this half-day course. We took a bus from the airport to Yakusugi Land, where I was able to see the Jomon Sugi while listening to the guide's explanations. They also provided transportation back to my accommodation, allowing me to have a fulfilling half-day!

屋久島に到着は11時すぎでした。
初日の半日がどうしてももったいと思って、こちらの半日コースに参加しました。
空港からバスで屋久杉ランドに向かい、ガイドさんの説明を聞きながら紀元杉を見る事ができました。
帰りも宿まで送っていただき、充実した半日を送れました！

I only participated in the morning, but the guide and the driver were very attentive in their explanations and driving. I was able to see the Japanese macaques and deer clearly, and even though it was a short time, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it for those departing in the afternoon.

午前中だけの参加でしたが、ガイドさん運転士さんの説明、運転もとても丁寧でした。ヤクザルや鹿もしっかり観られて短い時間でしたが満喫できました。午後発の方はオススメです。

I participated to conquer all the World Heritage Sites in Japan. They pick you up by bus, and take you around major tourist spots, making it very convenient. Among them, Okawa Falls is absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend seeing it for yourself. I also got to walk the Western Forest Road, and I was very satisfied with the delicious local specialty, flying fish tempura, for lunch. The guide's explanations were easy to understand and it was a lot of fun!

日本にある世界自然遺産を全制覇するために参加しました。
バスで迎えもきてくれるし、メジャーな観光スポットを巡ってくれるので非常にお手軽です。
中でも大川の滝は迫力満点！
ぜひその目で見ていただきたいです。
目的だった西部林道も歩かせてもらったし、お昼ご飯も名物のトビウオの唐揚げも食べれて大満足でした。
ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすく、楽しかったです！

It was a fun day efficiently exploring Yakushima. I was happy to see creatures like the Yakuzaru and Yakushika.

効率的に屋久島をまわってくれて楽しい１日でした。ヤクザル、ヤクシカなど生き物も見られて嬉しかったです。

I couldn't rent a car anywhere, so I was looking for a tour and decided on this one. I was able to efficiently visit the main tourist spots. Throughout the bus ride, the guide continuously shared the charm of Yakushima, which was very informative. I also got recommendations for gourmet spots from the guide, who was born and raised in Yakushima, which will be helpful for my sightseeing in the following days! Since I was tired from trekking to Jomon Sugi the day before, it was convenient and helpful to be able to travel by bus all day.

レンタカーがどこも借りられず、ツアーを探していてこちらに決めました。
効率よく主要な観光地を周ることができました。
バスの中ではずっとガイドさんが屋久島の魅力を伝えてくれます。勉強になりました。
屋久島生まれ屋久島育ちのガイドさんからおすすめのグルメ情報なども聞くことができ、次の日以降の観光の参考にもなります！
縄文杉トレッキングの次の日で身体が疲労していたので、一日中バスで移動できるのは楽で助かりました。

The weather was nice, and I was glad to see many beautiful views. If it were a rental car, I wouldn't have been able to leisurely watch the monkeys and deer. Being able to listen to the explanations is part of the charm.

天気が良く、綺麗な景色をたくさん見られて良かったです。
レンタカーだったら、のんびりサルやシカを眺められませんから
説明も聞けるのが醍醐味です。

From waterfalls, the great cedar trees, beaches and the scenic drive around Yakushima, the full day tour was very enjoyable and informative.

I participated in the Jomon Sugi trekking and the Taiko Rock trekking on my last day in Yakushima, and it was a great decision! The driver and guide's stories allowed me to learn more about Yakushima, which was wonderful. Although the purpose of my visit was trekking, I was able to explore around Yakushima even in the morning. I encountered Yakushima monkeys and Yakushima deer multiple times. I was thrilled to see them while walking along the Western Forest Road, not just from the car. The sea was beautiful too!

縄文杉トレッキング、太鼓岩トレッキングでヘトヘトの屋久島最終日に参加しましたが、大正解でした！
運転手兼ガイドさんのお話は屋久島の事をより深く知ることが出来て良かったです。
トレッキングが目的の屋久島でしたが、午前だけでもぐるっと屋久島を回ることが出来ました。
屋久ザルや屋久鹿も何度も会うことが出来ました。車中からだけではなく、西部林道を歩きながら会えた時は感激しました。
海も綺麗でした！

I am not good at driving, so I toured the island on the Yakuzaru bus. It's a well-designed sightseeing bus, and if you're visiting Yakushima for the first time, you'll definitely enjoy it. I wasn't expecting much from the lunch box, but the fried chicken and chawanmushi were warm and very delicious. However, the only downside is that if you participate alone, you have to pay an additional 2,500 yen, which is a bit disappointing.

私は運転が苦手なので、島一周はやくざる号で観光しました。よくできた観光バスで、初めて屋久島を訪れた人なら、絶対楽しめます。お昼のお弁当は期待していなかったのですが、唐揚げも茶碗蒸しも温かく、とても美味しくいただきました。
ただ…ひとり参加だとプラス2500円しないといけないので、それだけが残念。

I was glad to participate this time and to visit the landmarks with the guide's explanations. Thanks to the driver's skilled driving, I felt at ease as we navigated the narrow mountain roads. Although I got off the bus in the afternoon, I appreciated that they asked about my plans and provided recommendations for places to visit afterward.

今回参加させていただき、名所をガイドさんの説明つきで回れたのが良かったです。バスのドライバーさんの巧みな運転技術で、狭い山道を進む事ができたので安心感がありました。午後のみで途中、バスから降りましたが、その後の予定なども聞いてくださりおすすめの場所などアドバイスまでいただけありがたかったです。

I used this tour on the morning of the day I was leaving Yakushima at 13:45. I was a bit anxious about whether I would make it in time, but I really enjoyed the tour. The Chihiro Falls and the Okawa Falls were quite impressive. On the Western Forest Road, monkeys were playing around, blocking the road. After seeing monkeys twice, we spotted a deer. It felt like a safari park with all the wildlife. We finished about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled, which gave us time to buy souvenirs at the Furusato Market, and we arrived at the airport comfortably by bus.

13:45屋久島発で帰る日の午前に利用。間に合うかなとヒヤヒヤしながらもツアーは楽しめました。千尋の滝、大川の滝はなかなかのもの。西部林道では猿たちが道路を塞ぐほど戯れていました。猿を2回見ると次は鹿。また猿、とサファリパークのようです。予定より10分ほど早く終わり、ふるさと市場でお土産を買う時間もあり、路線バスで余裕の空港着でした。

On the day I arrived in Yakushima, I had fried flying fish in Anbo while waiting at the bus stop, and then the Yakuzaru bus arrived. As I listened to the guide's explanation, we quickly reached Yakusugi Land. Together with the guide, we took a leisurely 30-minute course with detailed explanations. We then got off the bus right in front of the Jomon Cedar. The impressive Yakusugi was magnificent, but I heard that the Jomon Cedar is twice its size, which made me even more excited.

屋久島到着日、安房でトビウオの唐揚げを食べてバス停で待っているとヤクザル号が到着。ガイドさんの説明を聞いているうちにすぐにヤクスギランドに到着。ガイドさんと一緒に30分コースをゆっくり丁寧な解説付きで散策。またバスに乗って紀元杉の眼の前で下車。貫禄の屋久杉ですが、縄文杉はこの2倍と聞いて期待が膨らみました。

It was great. The waterfall had a wonderful view, and I was moved to encounter the Yakushima deer and Yakushima macaques. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, which was also good. I was convinced of its status as a World Heritage Site.

良かったです。滝も素晴らしい眺めですが、ヤクシカと屋久島猿に出会えて感動です。ガイドさんの解説もわかりやすくて良かったです。世界自然遺産に納得しました。

I considered renting a car, but taking the bus tour was the right choice. It takes quite a bit of time to reach an elevation of 1200 meters, and the road from Yakusugi Land to the Jomon Sugi is narrow and challenging. The guide's explanations were easy to understand and very helpful. I appreciated being dropped off at the hotel.

レンタカーも考えましたが、バスツアーで正解でした。標高1200mまで結構時間はかかるし、ヤクスギランドから紀元杉までは道も狭くて大変です。ガイドさんの解説もわかりやすくて良かったです。
ホテルまで送ってもらって助かりました。

I took a clockwise tour around the island on the Yakuzaru. I think I was able to see most of the highlights. Even without going trekking, I could see the Yakusugi, so I believe it was a fulfilling course. The guide provided continuous information, making it easy to understand, and I learned things I wouldn't have known if I had gone alone. They also took group photos for us. Looking at the photos, I noticed they were well-composed, and the guide was skilled at photography.

Since I boarded from the southernmost point, Onojima, I couldn't visit Chihiro Falls. This was a bit disappointing, but I went there personally.

トレッキングに行かなくても、
屋久杉を見られるので、充実したコースだと思います。
ガイドさんはずっと案内してくれて、
わかりやすくて個人で行ったのでは、
わからないことも知ることができました。
グループ毎に写真も撮ってくれましたよ。
写真を見ると、足長に撮れていたりで、
ガイドさんは写真もお上手。

私は一番南の尾之間から乗車したので、
千尋の滝には行かれませんでした。
これはちょっと残念でしたが、
個人的行ってきました。

I participated in a half-day tour to Yakusugi Land and the Jomon Sugi course from Yakushima Airport. The guide explained everything very clearly and taught us various things about Yakushima, in addition to the Yakusugi trees and mountain plants. Along the way, we also encountered deer and monkeys. It was very educational, and I had a wonderful time. I gave up on seeing the Jomon Sugi due to physical limitations, but I was able to see the Jigen Sugi, and I'm really glad I joined this tour.

屋久島空港から半日観光ヤクスギランド、紀元杉コースに参加しました。
ガイドさんがとてもわかりやすく説明して下さり、屋久杉や山の植物以外にも屋久島の様々なことを教えて下さいました。
道中、鹿や猿にも会えました。
とても勉強になり、貴重な時間を過ごすことができ楽しかったです。
縄文杉は体力的に諦めましたが、紀元杉を見ることができ、このツアーに参加して本当に良かったです。

I participated in this tour the day after experiencing a day trip trekking to Jomon Sugi, so my legs were quite shaky. However, it was great to efficiently visit the main spots by bus, and the guide provided detailed explanations. I’m glad I used this service. The half-day course allowed me to make effective use of my time, and I was able to leave the island that same day.

前日に縄文杉日帰りトレッキングを体験して足腰がガタガタの状態での参加でしたが、バスで効率的に主要スポットを巡回でき、ガイドさんが詳しく解説していただけるので利用して良かったです。時間も半日コースでその日に島を離陸しましたが時間を有効に使えました。

They kindly accommodated our request to change the drop-off location, and the guide researched and adjusted according to our activities after getting off. It was really helpful. During the tour, the guide provided clear instructions and was easygoing about taking photos, which made for a fun experience.

降車場所の変更に快く対応して下さり、降りてからの私達の行動に合わせて　ガイドさんが色々と調べて対応して下さいました。本当に助かりました。ツアー中もわかりやすい案内や気軽に写真撮影をしてくれたりと　楽しい思い出となりました。

If you're not very confident in your physical stamina but want to visit the Jomon Sugi and the Thousand-Year Cedar, especially as a first-time solo visitor to Yakushima, don't worry. This tour allows you to visit all the famous spots in Yakushima in one day, and you'll get to see the Thousand-Year Cedar up close. You can stroll through the gently undulating Yakusugi Land, which is about 1,000 meters above sea level, for about an hour.

This course is included in the one-day tour. Additionally, while on the bus and during the sightseeing, you'll receive detailed explanations about the various famous spots and the Yakusugi (cedars over 1,000 meters in elevation) from a local veteran guide.

For those who are a bit unsure about their stamina or are traveling to Yakushima alone for the first time, having a local veteran guide on board makes it all manageable.

I highly recommend this course!

体力に自信がなく千年杉、縄文杉へは見に行きたいが、しかも一人での屋久島初訪問の方。
大丈夫です。このツアーでは一日で屋久島の名所を一気に巡れて、千年杉の樹林を眼前で見ることが出来ます。標高1000mほどのヤクスギランド内の起伏穏やかな屋久杉樹海を約1時間散策して。
このコースもこの一日ツアーには含まれています。
また、バス車中、名所散策時に、同乗の地元ベテランガイドさんから、屋久島の各名所、屋久杉（標高1000m以上の杉）の詳細な説明も聞けます。

体力にやや自信のない方、お一人で初の屋久島旅行の方、地元のベテランガイドさんの同乗があるので大丈夫。

It might be difficult to drive around the island with a rental car. There are a lot of curves, and many areas have narrow roads. With the Yakuza-ru model, it was easy to get around the island. I was happy to see about 80 monkeys and around 10 deer.

レンタカーで、島を回るのは大変かも。やたらカープが多いし、道幅が狭いところが多いです。やくざる号だと楽に島をまわれました。猿は、80匹ぐらい、鹿も10匹ぐらい見れて良かった。

On the first day, they pick you up at the airport and also drop you off at your accommodation on the way back, allowing you to efficiently use half a day. It's helpful since many taxi drivers dislike short distances. The 30-minute course at Yakusugi Land and the Jomon Sugi were enjoyable, with the guide providing thorough explanations.

初日、空港まで迎えに来てくれますし、帰りも宿まで送ってくださるので、効率的に半日が使えます。
近距離だと嫌がるタクシードライバーも多いので助かります。
屋久杉ランド30分コースや紀元杉も、ガイドさんが丁寧に説明してくださり、楽しかったです。

The tour guide was very kind and spoke politely, giving us a good understanding of Yakushima. We also enjoyed a very delicious lunch.

添乗員の方もとても親切でお話も丁寧で屋久島の様子がわかりました。お昼ごはんもとても美味しくいただきました。

I was very satisfied with the guidance to places that are usually not accessible. It was a valuable experience to see the monkeys and deer of Yakushima up close. If you're going to Yakushima, I definitely recommend participating.

通常では行けないところまだ案内されて大変満足でした。屋久島の猿やシカをまじかにみられる貴重な体験でした。屋久島に行く方は是非参加してください。

It was great to efficiently visit the highlights while listening to the fun guidance from the tour guide, which is unique to a sightseeing tour. Walking a short distance on the Western Forest Road was a valuable experience. It's a place where you wouldn't easily be able to stop if you were driving a rental car. The flying fish for lunch was also very delicious. Thank you!

観光ツアーならではの、ガイドさんの楽しい案内を聞きながら見どころを効率よく回れてよかったです。
西部林道を少しの距離ですが歩くことができたのは貴重な体験でした。自分でレンタカーで行ったら路上停車はなかなかできない場所ですからね。
