I was really surprise that a tour of the movie locations for a film from 1949 would be possible.
Meeting point was easy to find, at the entrance to the station facing the street. Apart from us, there 1 Japanese person, few Americand and Germans, 10 people in total. The guide gave explanation in English and German. He told us some very interesting stories. Johannesgasse street was not picked as a meeting point for no reason, it was also were some of the scenes were shot. The guide showed us some pictures from the actual film, so we could see the exact locations. You better have your camera ready. It:s really interesting to know that a movie that was created over 70 years ago is still alive in people's imagination!
