Aside from a bad beginning where it took 4 of us 20 minutes to find the meeting place because the written direction were horrible unless you spoke French and knew the area, the actual tour was great. Our first guide, Victoria, was personable and east to understand. She had good stories and knew her business. However, the second guide, Marvin, was absolutely the very, very best we have ever had. He knew his business (the Louvre) perfectly and spoke English like a native. His stories were great, funny and will be a pleasure to remember as we think about each exhibit and painting. I would give the a perfect rating if we could have found the meeting places!
