Disorganized

We had hotel pick up and drop off. Our driver was almost 40 minutes late picking us up despite the fact that I confirmed the pick up the night before. I called the office twice when he didn’t arrive. I think he may have gotten lost in the construction around the hotel which is understandable but there was no apology or explanation. We were nearly late for the bus trip around Frankfurt and had to speed walk (with my 73 year old Dad who just had knee surgery) to make it on time. Our guide was a little soft spoken but very nice. The half day Rhine trip with the river cruise was pretty. Lunch was ok. The wine tasting was ok. The whole thing was fine. We just felt rushed and it seemed as if it wasn’t really coordinated well. During the drive to the Rhine, our guide told us about a beautiful view we would get to see, then half way up the mountain the driver made a u turn because we didn’t have enough time to actually go up and see the view. The cruise along the river was the best part of the day and we really could have done that part on our own without a tour.
