  • Arrival at Neuschwanstein Castle
    Finally, you will reach the foot of the mountain where Neuschwanstein Castle is located. Before hiking up to the castle, you can spend some time to get lunch or set out for Mary's Bridge (Marienbrücke), the best place to get those postcard views of the castle.

    • It is recommended to bring lunch from Munich to allow more time to explore and take photos at the attractions. Drinks and meals are also available for purchase on site.
    • Entrance tickets to the Linderhof palace and Neuschwanstein Castle can be purchased from your guide on board the bus. Please note that the tickets cost an additional 27 EUR per person. Price may change without prior notice.
    • Interior tours of the castles may be arranged by the guide upon request on the day of the tour.

    • The shuttle bus station at the castle is located by the Marienbrucke Bridge. This is a great location for photographs but please note that it is a 10 minute walk from the castle entrance. Please note that the Marienbrucke bridge will be closed during the winter.
    • The activity schedule may be reversed due to weather conditions, booking constraints or changes in opening hours.

Can I use my Mehrtagesticket or Jahreskarte at the entry?
  • Yes, you can use your Mehrtagesticket (Bavaria Castles Pass) or Jahreskarteat (Bavaria Castles Pass) at the entry to both Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. At the day of the tour you will be asked to pay 2.50 Euro reservation fee at each castle.
