Is one of the must dos for each visitor to Rome and unfortunately there are many many visitors. hence a Skip the line tour pass is a must.
Unable to full view each exhibit due to massive massive crowds.

July is extremely busy and we were herded through the museum in record time. I spent way too much time keeping up with the group and very little time taking in the sights. However, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and stopped to explain several interesting points throughout the museum. There was ample time allowed to spend gazing up at the Sistine Chapel. After this, we were escorted to St. Peter's Basilica. One of our group complained about that fact that we were over our time limit (she had another tour booked) and the tour guide was obliged to rush us through St. Peter's Basilica in about 10 minutes. Hence, my husband and I (having the Omnia Pass) went back on our own time and were able to see and learn about St. Peter's in a more leisurely fashion.

We really liked what we saw. The tour guide was great however talked way too much. The information could be delivered in a more concise way, but the guide repeated herself a lot. This meant that by the time we got to St Peters Basilica it was almost dark and the inside of the dome could not be seen as no daylight was coming through anymore.

The directions to the meeting place for this tour are not explicit enough.
The vatican museum is dissapointing. No real treasures and many mutilated statues. The Sistine chapel is packed with tourists and guards calling for Silencio. Look but don't discuss it with your wife!!
St. Peters, a massive memorial to dead Popes.

Great tour BUT don't go in summer! The crowds are huge and it was claustophobic going through the museum, Sistene Chapel and Basilica. I guess you must see these sites while in Rome and you got a fast tracked ticket but there was still a lot of standing and shuffling.

Great way to beat all the queues! Tour guide was good explaining the progression of Raphael's work, describing all areas of interest, great information, beautiful paintings, magic mosaics etc, a must see.
