Skip the line with preferred entrance to the Basilica is excellent!

This tour combines all the MUST do items for a short trip in Venice. I was worried because there was a large crowd gathering before the tour was set to start and it took a very long time to get sorted out into groups. However our guide was fantastic and after apologizing for the 20 minute late start we quickly headed to the Doge's Palace. It was fantastic!! Then we did an hour walk through Venice where she showed us all the top sights and gave us many stories about the city. Last up was the Saint Marks Basilica tour which we were able to actually sit down in a private area for about 20 minutes. It was a wonderful way to view the magnificent basilica!! Eat a good breakfast and wear comfortable shoes... you are in for a fantastic tour!! You had a headset on so no matter where you were in the group (we had about 20 in our group) you could hear what the guide was saying very easily. Would greatly recommend!!

A perfect way to start our 3 day stay in Venice. A wonderful balance of walking round delightful alleys over bridges, by canals and then the glory of the Palace and the Basilica. Wonderful well informed guide and we loved the headphones which allow you to wander round looking while also listening.

We really enjoyed the first part of the walking tour (around Venice itself). The tour guide was great, had a great sense of humor, and love for Venice! However, in the 2nd part of the tour, the tour guide was not very good. She actually said to people "No photographs! Can't you see the sign? Are you blind?" She knew the history well, but imparted it in a frazzled kind of way. The tour would have been great probably if we had a better guide. The third part, the boat trip to Murano, was very pleasant. I only wish I had 6000 euros to buy the art glass for sale at the factory there.

Meeting place hard to find at first and the listening devices were hard to hear at times but definitely worth doing as soo much to see in Venice if you aren't aware of the area. Museum and St Marks it's a must to be on a tour to fully experience them. Raphael was our guide for the Museum and Basilica and was a highlight of our trip.
