Notes

Required items to bring & attire

  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • Students and seniors are required to show a valid ID for the discounted rate eligibility.

Additional notes

  • The Stonehenge reserves the right to cancel tours due to circumstances beyond control such as poor weather conditions (where they fear the ground and monument may be subject to damage from footfall). While this is rare to date, if it does happen it will most likely be in the winter.
  • Eating is prohibited inside the bus. Only water is allowed.
  • Wi-Fi is available onboard. However, during peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi may be used.
  • On selected days, the tour operates in reverse, beginning with a private viewing of Stonehenge before it opens to the public in the morning, so guests can see the stones in the eerie morning light. This is followed by the visit to Lacock and Bath.
  • A maximum period of ten (10) minutes will be allowed for late running passengers before the tour moves on.

Reviews

Excellent experience and great guide and driver.

2020/02/14 Friends Henry

Excellent experience; it was very special to walk among the stones rather than just looking at them from a distance.

Wonderful experience.

2018/06/17 Couples Rosemary

Very glad we went on an early tour. It wasn't opened to the public yet and we got to go inside the circle. Great tour guide.

Worth Every Penny!

FAQ

Q. How many people in the group?
A. It depends on the day, but it could be between 26-52 people in the group.
Q. My hotel is not included on the pick-up list? What can I do?
A. If your hotel is not included on the pick-up service then make your way to the nearest pick-up points at Cumberland Hotel, Grosvenor Victoria, Millennium Gloucester (Casino Entrance), Russell Hotel, Thistle Hotel Euston. You must go to the pick-up point selected at time of booking.
Q. Am I guaranteed to see sunrise or sunset?
A. You will arrive as early or late as possible to Stonehenge at sunrise or sunset. At certain times due to long summer daylight hours or short winter days, it is not possible to see the actual sunrise or sunset but we endeavour to make this possible. The biggest advantage of arriving at sunrise or sunset is to escape the crowds and get access to the inner stone circle of Stonehenge usually roped off and restricted to the general public.
