A. Non-flash photography is permitted in most areas of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. But, photography of any kind is not allowed inside the Sistine Chapel.

A. The Vatican Necropolis is the ancient Roman cemetery found below Saint Peter's Basilica. The Scavi is where the tomb of St. Peter is located while the Vatican Crypts and Papal Tombs refer to the same thing which is where popes have been laid to rest.
