New York Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Small Group Guided Tour
When we planned to visit the liberty statue, we expected a commonplace touristic visit, just a box to tick among the other must sees of New York.
It turned out to be the most interesting attraction of the trip, thanks to Rob, the tour guide we were lucky to have. We were taken back in the times when thousands of poor immigrants were pouring in Ellis island to be assessed before entering USA. The story of the construction of the statue was also captivating and richly highlighted with anecdotes. I would recommend this with no hesitation, provided that Rob is your tour guide.
