Visit the active Mount Naka crater, a massive 4-kilometer-wide volcanic crater. Witness the dynamic landscape and white smoke rising up close.
*Access may be restricted during periods of high volcanic activity.
The source of the Shirakawa River, producing 60 tons of water per minute. Visitors can take home water from this "100 Exquisite Waters" site.
Enjoy Aso's local cuisine, featuring river fish and vegetables grilled over charcoal with miso.
