I'm from Louisiana where we have plently of places to go tubing. This is a one of a kind excursion!!! I've gone scuba diving, snorkeling with stingrays, etc and nothing compared to this.. The tour guides were very nice and fun to be around.. This is a perfect trip for families as well as children.. I would definately do this again!!

My Mom, Sister and I went tubing, thinking that this would be a great time to catch some sun...we were very disappointed that the day was rainy. We went to the tubing anyway, and were we ever greatful that we did.
The experience that we had was very memorable...we bought a camera there and took pictures, we had so much fun!!
The staff was funny, experienced and knowledgeable. They made the drive up and back go so quickly, and the tubing, a once in a lifetime memory.
We are all "non-swimmers" so being in the water we were comfortable, being that it was shallow, and that they catered to making sure you got in and were ok all along.
The age span between Mother (57) and Daughter (29), made no difference, we all had just as much fun as the others.
Thank you for providing such a fun experience for our family!!

It was the best landing I have ever experienced; I tried to convenience him to travel back and pilot our plane to San Diego. His pilot skills were superior; he could easily become a commercial pilot.

The tubing trip was a rare treat. I had recently read Michner's book "Hawaii" and one section was about chipping out the irrigation tunnels to bring water from the interior to the fields. Seeing these tunnels from the inside was a gift. It was also nice to go into the interior of the island since most of my experience in Kauai has been along the coastline. There is a thrill to the ride, but it is not scary or overwhelming. I am 60, my sister is 65 and we really enjoyed the experience and felt safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend this activity.

The mountain tubing adventure is appropriately named. You find yourself navigating old irrigation channels that are now used for water reclamation. We had a group of thirteen including young teens through middle aged adults. Everyone had a great time. It is one of those experiences that is different, fun and one where you can control the pace. The staff is very friendly and fun loving. It makes for a very nice experience. I would recommend it particularly for groups.

Yes the water was 'crisp' but very refreshing. Th whole trip was wonderful and the guides were very experienced with handeling all on the trip, young and older (that was us). I never scraped up an elbow or ankle with their instructions and if it is going to happen to anyone, it would be me.

We arrived at Kauai Backcountry Adventures and were quickly greeted by a staff member. The set up was easy to follow, the instructions were clear and the process was very organized. The staff was laid back, informative and very friendly. Jamie and BJ made our experience great. I was disappointed to learn that 80% of ride would be through tunnels - I pictured we'd have some tunnels but mostly be having a nice trip through Kauai scenery. It was still lots of fun though!!
Though the guide said there was over 50 miles of irrigation ditches, but that the tour is only through 2 1/2 miles, so it's not a very long trip. There's a nature walk before hand and picnic lunch after. But for the money, I'd rather skip both those and do the irrigation ride twice, or at least have a much, much longer ride.
I was still pretty fun and I would definitely recommend this to families but it's definitely way expensive for what you get. The water is freezing cold, so be prepared.

We are both certified divers with a little less than year of experience. So we know what we were doing but appreciates the older diver's guidance. The Seasport Divers staff made the whole diving experience a lot better than expected. The Kauai has a lot of untouched reefs compared to Oahu, so we got to see some marine animals unique to Hawai'i. There was a huge eel which came out of nowhere, and we were hanging out with him (her?) for a while. Thanks a lot for a good time. We'll come back next year!

I would recommand everyone at some time to see Hawaii for the air. You truely can't see the beauty of the Island any other way. Our flight was so smooth, my son dooze off for a moment. My family was not to impressed when I booked this but I have to say they all loved this activity. It was way more fun then I even expected. Our ages are 16,18,20,22,47,and 48. We had a great time. It was actually 2nd time trying to learn surfing. We tried from my friend, but we decided to take a lesson from pros. This tour is by far the best way to see the Island. I recommend doing it the first day your on Kaui because the pilots tell you were to go and what to see. We had the owner as the pilot and he gave us terrific ideas and views of the Island. Will do this tour again.

My friends went on this tour last year and they kept telling us how awesome and amazing it was, so of course when my husband and I went to Kauai last month, we knew that we had to try the tubing ourselves, and I am so so so so so happy that I did. It had to be the most amazing time and srsly...this was way better than just sitting on the beach. If you get a chance...DO EEEET! :)
