ワイメア川の穏やかな流れを、上流へ向けて遊覧船で進むと、カヤックで下るツーリストと手を降りながら、お互いに楽しい休日を過ごしている一時でした。船着き場から南国の植物や、花に囲まれた遊歩道を上りきると上空に、したたる水と長い植物しだ？がたれて、黒く見える穴が確かにあった。ハワイ先住民の王族しか訪れることができなかった場所だそうだが。今は結婚式もできるパワースポット。2時間程のツアーだが、すごく充実感を味わえた。

全体的にフェルン・グロットツアーを楽しみましたが、特別なことはありませんでした。帰りのエンターテイメントは軽快で楽しかったです。グロット自体はまあまあでした。

Overall we enjoyed the Fern Grotto tour but nothing spectacular about it. Entertainment coming back was light and fun. Grotto itself was just OK.

知識豊富なスタッフ。フレンドリーです。私たちが期待していたよりも短かったです。2時間かかると読んでいたのですが、別のグループが待っていたため、急かされているように感じました。

Good knowledgeable staff. Friendly. Shorter than what we expected. We read it would be 2 hours and we felt rushed out of there because another group was there waiting.

ワイルア川の短いツアーで、素晴らしいシダの洞窟に向かいます。美しい木々、植物、花々に囲まれています。帰り道のエンターテイメントは特に良く、フラの動きを学び、生演奏に合わせて踊りました。

This is a short tour of the Wailua River to get to the fantastic fern grotto, surrounded by beautiful trees, plants, and flowers. The entertainment was particularly good on our way back, where we learned some hula moves and danced to live music.

8月18日、15時30分のツアーに参加しました。日本人は我々3名だけでしたが、70人くらいは乗船しベンチは8割方埋まっていました。流れをほとんど感じない川を30分弱上ると小さな船着場に到着、そこから5分ほど歩くと洞窟前に到着します。10数年前に崩落事故があり以後内部は立ち入り禁止です。採掘場の跡のような感じで、シダの茂り方も思ったより貧相な感じでした。洞窟前や帰りの船上でスタッフが歌やフラを披露してくれます。簡単な実技のレクチャーもあり、英語の解説ですがそれは楽しめました。

スミスファミリーによる情報豊かなクルーズです。ジャングルと時折の雨が混ざり合うため、ビーチサンダルよりもしっかりした靴を持参してください。私の娘はライブのインタラクティブなエンターテイメントを楽しみました。全体的に良い時間を過ごしました。

Informative cruise given by The Smith family. Bring sturdier shoes than flip flops because the jungle mixed with sporadic rain showers make a slippery path. My daughter loved the live interactive entertainment. Overall good time.

リラックスできるアクティビティで、小さなお子さんには最適でしたが、私たちが最後のツアーを受けたため、スタッフの疲れを感じました。早めに行くのがベストです。また、シダの洞窟へのジャングルウォークでは虫除けスプレーを持参することをお勧めします！シダの洞窟は美しかったですが、子供たちの喧嘩の声で説明が聞き取りにくかったです。ハハ。シダの洞窟にスピーカーやメガホンがあれば、もっと聞きやすいかもしれませんね。

It was a relaxing activity and great for littles, but I could sense the tiredness in the crew because we took the last tour of the day. Best to go earlier in the day. Also, be warned to bring bug spray with you on the jungle walk to the fern grotto! Fern grotto was beautiful, but hard to hear explanations over arguing children. Haha. Maybe it would be easier if thye had a loud speaker or megaphone at the fern grotto?

The Waipoo Falls Hiking tour was outstanding.. great communication from start to finish. Our guide, Garrick, was outstanding and provided us with great information and a fantastic experience.

この旅行中に、私たちは40周年を祝いました。40年前のハネムーンでウィルア川クルーズを利用してファーン・グロットに行ったことを思い出し、今回の体験の素晴らしい部分が変わっていないことを嬉しく思います。グロットの新しいデッキには満足しましたが、車椅子が利用できればよかったと思います。妻はメインプラットフォームまで行けなかったので、素晴らしい部分を見逃してしまいました。私たちの主な目標は、三人の娘たちと孫にそれを見せることでしたが、彼らは見ることができました！素晴らしい体験をありがとうございました！

While on this trip, we celebrated our 40th anniversary. We took the Wilua river cruise to the Fern Grotto 40 years ago on our honeymoon, and I'm happy to say that the best parts of this experience have not changed.
We were happy with the new decking in the Grotto, I only wish that they had wheel chairs available at the Grotto. My wife was unable to make it all the way to the main platform, so she missed out on the best part. Our main goal was four our three daughters and our grandson to see it, and they did!

Lovely cruise provided by great staff with hula, singing, music, story telling, walking tour, and an overall great time. Bring water, sunscreen and possibly bug repellent. Will do this again next time we are on the island.

歩くのが難しい方や大きなハイキングができない方にとって素晴らしい旅行です。自然やカヤッカーを見ながらの素敵なボートライドがあります。もっと冒険心のある方は、その方法でエリアを観ることを好むでしょう。ボートではフラダンスを教えてくれました。散策に関する興味深い情報も提供されました。簡単な旅行です。

Great trip for any one that has problems walking or doing large hikes. Nice boat ride as you see nature along with kayakers . The more adventurous people would probably prefer that method of seeing the area. On the boat they taught a hula dance. Gave some interesting info on the walk. It is an easy trip.

My family went on this excursion to the Grotto because it looked so good in the brochures. The boat ride up and back was the best part in my opinion. The workers on the boat were very entertaining and told the history of the river and the Grotto.
On the way back they let us place our flowers in the river and tell a little about our mother who had passed away just a few days prior to this part of our trip.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour more than all of the others. It was a beautiful, leisurely trip down the river to Fern Grotto. The scenery, and entertainment was wonderful! $30 per person is the best deal on the entire island. Don’t forget to tip.

The cruise was okay. Due to the roof on the boat, it was difficult to see much. You walk a paved path to pretty scenery. Lots of people.

川のクルーズは素晴らしかったです！前回これをしたのは2007年でした。この2022年6月、子供たちと孫たちを連れて行き、彼らは楽しい時間を過ごしました。少し提案ですが、次回はもう少し下流までクルーズをして、滝をちらっと見ることができるといいですね、それは素晴らしいでしょう！

The river cruise was fantastic! Last time we did this was 2007. This June 2022, took my children and grandchildren and they had a good time. A little suggestion, maybe next time, take the cruise a little further down where at least we can get a glimpse of the water fall, that will be awesome!!!!

Fun cruise exploring the river and history as told by the cruise captain. The walk through the “jungle” leading to the fern grotto was very enjoyable. The cruise back was fun - included song and dance. Recommend!

This was such an enjoyable boat tour! The captain and crew were friendly, funny and talented. The fern grotto was beautiful and the music and hula were so fun! Our kids enjoyed it too!

I was pleasantly surprised by this tour. The entertainment was really great! The woman who sang the songs has a great voice and fun banter;) Overall, a very fun affordable experience. Probably my favorite part was when they taught us the hula :)

The guides were awesome and extremely personable. They were sure that all the participants were comfortable with the process. They cheered us on and made sure we have a great time. The waterfalls are on private land that you would never otherwise get to experience. While the idea of rappelling may sound crazy, with the help of the guides, anyone can enjoy this adventure. Definitely a highlight to our trip! When we are back on the island, we’ll do it again!

My family had an awesome time on this tour with our guides Ryan and Cousin Giggles! They made sure all drivers felt comfortable behind the wheel of their ATV and made safety a priority. The trails were fun with a great waterfall stop at the end. Only a few people actually got in the water. My husband did and said the rocks were very slick and water very cold but he would jump in again. It rained that morning but the trails were still very dusty in places and there were also large mud puddles. Take clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting bright red dirt on. My teens stated this was one of their favorite activities.

ツアーはとても素晴らしく、リラックスできました！スキッパーと他のスタッフは素晴らしかったです。最後の滝は息をのむ美しさでした！滝までの道のりは10〜15分で、道沿いにはハワイの原生植物がいろいろありました。またぜひ参加したいです！マハロ。

The tour was so nice and relaxing! Skipper and the rest of the staff was amazing. The waterfall at the end was breathtaking!The walk in to the fall was 10-15mins and along the path are different plants natives to Hawaii. Would definitely do again! Mahalo.

体験談を読み、前席〈ファーストクラス）であれば、光の反射がなく絶景が見れるとのことでしたが、前席でも光の反射で見にくい時がありました。でも、後席よりは格段に良いと思いますので、ファーストクラス指定が良いと思います。
ツアー催行日の前日の夜に催行会社からホテルに電話があり、予定していたフライトが整備点検のためキャンセルになったとのこと、代替のフライトが２時間後でしたので大きな問題はなかったですが、ホノルルから日帰りので予定の方は、帰りのホノルル行きのフライトは余裕を持ったスケジュールにした方が良いと思います。

とてもフレンドリーなスタッフ。リラックスできるボートライドと素晴らしいエンターテイメント。ぜひおすすめします。

ファーン・グロットのクルーズは素晴らしくリラックスできましたし、途中の観光地の説明も興味深かったです。私たちのグループには、昔グロットで結婚したカップルがいました。すごいですね！

The Fern Grotto cruise was nice and relaxing, plus the description of sites along way was interesting. we had a couple in our group that was actually married in the Grotto back in the day. Kewl!
