Whale watching was great.

ただ写真には収まらない程の遠くで一瞬でした。
ただ、クルーズとして楽しめました。
スタッフの皆さんは一切日本語が喋れませんがとてもフレンドリーでした。
この後のオアフ島で参加したイルカウォッチングで偶然に何度もクジラを近くで見れたので良かったです。

We saw whales but the boat was so-so
投稿者: Anonymous, 2017/01/12We've been on multiple whale tours over the years. We saw multiple whales but the boat was crowded and pretty dated. The microphone didn't work for the first 30 minutes and they never used the hydrophone after mentioning that they had one. Definitely not the "spacious deck with ample seating for all passengers and first class amenities" as advertised. The Kawaihae Harbor location is setup weird. After arriving and checking in we had to board a bus for a 5 minute ride to the boat. Every cruise in the past allowed us to park and then walk on without a shuttle bus. The crew was friendly.

That's not Body Gloves fault, they made the cruise enjoyable anyway.

遠くから見れました
投稿者: ゆんちゃん, 2016/02/20船長さんが頑張ってクジラを探し回ってくれましたが、遠くからしか見れず近距離ではなかなかみることができませんでした。
船を引き返すときにクジラの群れが飛び上がる様子が見えたのでほかの乗客たちが船長に伝えたのですが、もう時間切れみたいでとても残念でした。

迫力満点！！

ガイドが英語なので全ての内容は聞き取れませんでしたが、大きな船に揺られ、広い海を見ているだけでとても癒されます。
子連れ家族で参加しましたが、子供料金無料だったのが良かったです。

参加者は 洋上の夕日と食事を楽しむのが 主のようでした。
送迎のドライバー 受付の女性 船長 感じがよかったです。
クジラが出る 3月頃再挑戦したいですね。

投稿者: Meme , 2015/03/15Wow we saw momma baby and daddy humpbacks was saw whales all around us their tales were enormous it was the best day. We went mid morning the catamaran was spacious and very comfortable. Easy to board. The crew was very informative and friendly they were just as excited with all the action around us. We went in February 2015. I would highly recommend this tour.

I liked the fact that this tour allowed to you return until you actually see whales. I was fortunate to see my first time out, but nice to know I could have returned if I needed to without additional expense.

ざとうくじらの姿に興奮

午前中にふねにのりましたが、海外からの方が多くクジラが出てくると
のりのりで『イエ〜〜〜〜〜〜イ！！」
私の行った年末年始はまだ序の口のようですがこの後３月くらいまでハワイではザトウくじらが散乱の為に南下してきますからよく見えます。
見張り役の方々とキャプテンがあの辺り！火事を進めて行くと２匹親子で、雄のみなど様々な形態で
潮を吹き尻尾を見せて潜ったり・・・・最後の方は船を追いかけてくぐって行きました。
こんな体験はなかなか出来ませんが、船酔いする方は注意してくださいね

I'll Keep Trying!!
投稿者: Donald Owen, 2014/12/18I'm afraid the whales were very shy during our particular trip. We did see two on 4/5 occasions but only briefly from a distance. In these circumstances I think it's best to look upon the trip as a pleasure cruise because we were treated to great views of the Western side of Big Island. The crew deserve a mention...always polite and courteous...they looked after everyone with complimentary soft drinks.

とにかくクルーズが気持ちよかった
投稿者: しんしん, 2014/02/11クジラは、思っていたより近くに現れなかったけれど、数はたくさん見ることができました。天候に恵まれて、穏やかな海の上を風をきって進む感じがなんともいえなく爽快でした。海から見える山の景色も最高です。スタッフは日本語を話せず、参加者も８割は外国の方なので、状況を理解する程度の英語力は必要です。またピックアップの際、ロビーという連絡がありましたが実際にはホテルのエントランスを出てすぐの車寄せのところで乗り合わせていたので、注意が必要です。

クジラ！
投稿者: ちっち, 2014/02/10ピックアップが、ホテルに09時55分でした。港には10時半にはつきましたが、港に降ろされて何も説明なく、車はいなくなってしまい、bodyglobeの船を探したが、見つかりません。周りの人に聞いてみると、12時半チェックインとのこと。
ピックアップ時間と、チェックイン時間に差があり過ぎて困ります。
肝心のクジラは、きちんと見ることが出来ましたが、とても遠くに小さなしっぽだけ…(>_<)残念でしたが、イルカの群れが帰り際に見れたことと、三時間近く船に乗ることが出来ました。迫力は足りなかったけど、クジラとイルカの群れが見れたのはlucky！でした。果物も美味しかった！

まだクジラウォッチングには時期が早いのか
遠方にちらっと現れ、船で近付くといなくなり、
離れると、また遠方に現れる の連続でした。
シーズン初めで船長がポイント慣れしていないのか
もう少し、我慢が必要かなと思いましたね。
日本語は全く通じないので説明含めほとんど理解できず
残念なツアーになりました。

投稿者: Beverly , 2013/04/15The guides were knowledgable and friendly. They were attentive to the needs and comfort of the passengers. My 8 yr old grandson was given the cushioned seat in the center (also the safest) and they even provided a life jacket. We saw a Humpback family group that breached numerous times. It was great! The disclaimer says it is not for those with mobility issues or bad backs, etc - believe them! Seating is on the side pontoons and would definitely be very uncomfortable for someone like my husband, who has 2 hip replacements (he did not go with us). I definitely recommend this activity!

Captain Colin and Crew on the Zodiac Whale Warch
投稿者: Jo Quilici, 2013/03/13This was my second trip out to see the whales with Captain Colin and crew. Went last year, could hardly wait to go again, got the opportunity and took it. The Captain is wonderful, he makes the trip both entertaining and informative, also exciting. We had the experience of a life time both trips, saw whales and dolphins. The zodiac ride is always wild and exciting. The Captain and his crew make sure the visitors are safe and as comfortable as possible under the circumstances and are given the opportunity to see and understand the animals in the ocean. Colin and his crew love their job and the ocean and convey that feeling to the visitors. I would and will go back.
