I had a very meaningful day filled with places I wanted to visit around Sapporo. The lunch was plentiful and delicious, and the view of Lake Toya from the restaurant was also very beautiful.

I was able to enjoy Sapporo city even on a half-day tour. Since it was a morning tour on the day of my departure, I bought plenty of souvenirs at a low price from the outer market and had them shipped. I was able to negotiate a lower price at Kitano Gyoba No. 3.
半日ツアーでも札幌市内を充分楽しめました。
帰る日の午前中のツアーなので場外市場でお土産を安くたっぷり買って発送してもらいました。

Asumi Spiritual involves quite a bit of walking on rocky mountains, so I think it's pretty tough. Plus, going around everything is a race against time. Even for someone like me who enjoys visiting historical sites and is used to mountain climbing, I found myself cutting it close to the meeting time while taking photos and videos.
It would be great if there were options for those who stay here and those who go to Yanbaru. For those staying, if they could be picked up on the way back from Yanbaru, I think even those without much stamina could manage.

I'm glad that I was able to visit almost all the places I wanted to go. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, so I mostly enjoyed the view from the car window, but the driver's explanations were excellent, and I had a great time. I also left the choice of dining places to the driver, and since we avoided the crowds by going at a less busy time, that was a good decision. I was very satisfied, and I wish I had a little more time.

I was also amazed by the glowing plankton sparkling in the water with just a gentle movement of the paddle. This was my fourth time canoeing, but it was my first time at night, and it was such an enjoyable experience that time flew by too quickly; I wished I could have gazed at the night sky for even longer.

I went on my first whale watching tour last February. This time, I used this tour company for my second trip on March 4th. I was attracted to a day trip tour to Yufuin and Beppu within my limited travel schedule, so I decided to participate. I saw on the web and in reviews that it was a tour aimed at overseas visitors, which made me a bit anxious, but as many others mentioned, the guide was truly wonderful, and I was able to enjoy myself and feel at ease. When I participated, there were four people in our group, plus two Japanese participants, and the rest were mostly from China and Taiwan. Even though it was a weekday, it was a popular tour with nearly all the seats on the large bus filled.
The guidance was provided in Japanese, Chinese, and English, and since our seats were close to the guide, they engaged with us and were very attentive and cheerful. Unfortunately, the day we participated was rainy, so the view from the ropeway was almost nonexistent, but it was a well-packed tour that I enjoyed.
限られた旅行日程のなか、日帰りで湯布院・別府に行けるツアーに魅力を感じ、参加しました。Webや口コミをみて、海外の方向けのツアーと書いてあったので、少し不安もありましたが、皆さんも書いていたように、本当にガイドさんがすばらしく、とても楽しく、安心して過ごすことができました。参加した時は、私たちグループ4人と、+2名の日本人、あとはほぼ中国・台湾の方々で、平日でしたが大型バスの席が埋まるほどの人気ツアーでした。
案内は、日本語・中国語・英語の3カ国でしてくださり、席もガイドさんの近くだったので、色々話しかけていただいたり、気配りと笑顔が素敵なガイドさんでした。
参加した日は、あいにくの雨でロープウェイからの景色はほぼ皆無でしたが、色々凝縮されたツアーで楽しめました。

In the moss-covered space I expected, I was energized by the various trees, including Yakusugi, which grow tall and firmly root themselves even in limited soil. I observed the coexistence of second and third-generation cedars, along with many other species intricately overlapping. I visited Iriomote Island for the first time. I was able to explore efficiently in a short amount of time. The mangroves were high due to the tide, so I couldn't see much of them. The weather was cloudy, so it was disappointing not to see the beautiful sea of Iriomote Island.
The water buffalo cart was fun, different from Taketomi Island. The sanshin and singing were quite lovely as well. Lunch was just normally delicious. Yubu Island was more enjoyable than I had imagined.

お昼ご飯も普通に美味しかったです。由布島は想像以上に楽しかったです。
ツアーに同行する係員がいないので、船を降りてからどのボートに乗り換えるのか、バスはどれに乗るのか、水牛に乗るにはどこに並ぶのか、毎回ウロウロして係員らしき人を見つけては聞きまくりました。
他のツアーも一緒なので、食事場所も別の所に案内されたり、仕方ないとは思いますが、ちょっと効率の悪さを感じました。
全体的には満足です。

I joined to see the coconut crab. I thought it would depend on luck, but I was able to see four of them. How lucky! The excitement of walking through the jungle at night, combined with the guide's excellent guidance and the starry sky, made for an amazing experience. On the bus to and from the location, the guide shared recommendations for shops, so we were fortunate to participate on the first day. This time, I attended with my wife, but I also want to take our children next time.

I found a tour that included Asahiyama Zoo, Blue Pond, and Shirahige Falls, and I participated in it. The zoo is compact, but the exhibits were creatively arranged and enjoyable. The Blue Pond was bluer than I expected. Shirahige Falls was beautiful, even though we viewed it from a bridge a bit away. The Yubari melon was very sweet and delicious, and I ended up eating a lot. It was a pity that the flowers in Biei were finished and the weather wasn't perfectly clear, but it was a trip that satisfied both my eyes and my stomach.

The guide was an excellent person who was fluent in English, Chinese, and Korean. They distributed maps and provided detailed explanations to each individual, which was very kind and greatly appreciated. The other guests were quiet and punctual, and although there was a bit of a traffic jam waiting for parking at the entrance to Shirakawa-go, we were able to get through quickly, which was good.
However, it was disappointing that while the two-hour exploration of Takayama was nice, two hours in Shirakawa-go was not enough, and I couldn't make it to the observation deck. The shuttle bus had a long line, and I tried to walk but ended up taking the wrong path. If the tour can't be extended due to the driver's working hours, I think it would be better to have an hour and a half in Takayama and two and a half hours in Shirakawa-go.
The foreign students I brought along (from Vietnam) were very moved and said they created lifelong memories, so it was worth taking them. Thank you very much.

Almost everyone was trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling for the first time! The instructors were very thorough, so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest without any worries, even as a beginner! Thanks to the many wonderful photos taken with the GoPro, I'm reminiscing while looking back at the pictures 😊 It was such a fun experience!!!

The guide took many breaks to accommodate us and was very knowledgeable, teaching us a lot of things we didn't know, which made the experience really enjoyable up to a certain point. However, at one point, they brought up something we didn't want to discuss, and it seemed like they thought it was a joke, as they continued to mention it on the way back. When we showed signs of being upset, they said, "Oh, you're sulking," and continued the conversation with malicious questions and reactions. I participated because I wanted to see various creatures and also observe the starry sky on Ishigaki Island for the first time. The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and lying on the sandy beach to watch it was the best! The main focus was searching for coconut crabs, and I encountered four of them, including a rare baby coconut crab! The kids also had a great time, so it was wonderful. Thank you for the lovely memories.

The tour guide provided very little information throughout the tour and did not fulfill the role of a guide. She was a Chinese woman, and while her attitude was not bad, it was quite disappointing. Regarding the destinations, she only mentioned the meeting times, and that was it.
When another guest tried to engage in conversation by asking questions, the responses were completely off-target, leading to awkward laughter among everyone.
I don't intend to make comments based on nationality, but foreigners likely can't distinguish between Japanese and Chinese people, so as a Japanese person, it felt uncomfortable. For a tour in Japan, I would prefer a guide who is either Japanese or has knowledge at a similar level. Even just sharing small anecdotes that a Japanese person would naturally know (like about the Fuji Five Lakes or the differences between the Shizuoka and Yamanashi sides, or about the Aokigahara Forest) would have made a significant difference in the overall impression.
ツアーを通してガイドさんからの情報があまりにもなく、ガイドとしての仕事をしていない。中国人の女性で、態度が悪いとかではないのだがあれではかなりガッカリ。目的地についても集合時間を言うだけで、それだけ。
別のお客さんが会話を繋げるために質問をしても完全に的外れな回答でみんな失笑。
国籍でどうこう言うつもりはないが、外国人からは日本人も中国人も見分けがつかないだろから、日本人としては嫌な気持ちになった。
日本の案内なら日本人か同レベルの知識がある外国人にガイドをお願いしたい。日本人なら当然知っている程度の小話（富士五湖のことや静岡側・山梨側、樹海のこと）だけでもあると全然印象が違うのにな、と思った。

Finally landed on Gunkanjima. 念願の軍艦島上陸

Unfortunately, the weather was uncertain, and we didn't know if we would be able to land until we set sail. However, while on the ship, watching videos and listening to the incredible stories from the guide who actually lived on Ikeshima, I found myself thinking that it would be okay if we couldn't land at all.
We were able to land safely, and although we faced some tough moments with rain and wind, it allowed me to feel just a tiny bit of the hardships experienced by those who lived there, which was quite moving.
The Gunkanjima Museum before our departure was also great. I was able to learn more about the history of Gunkanjima. I would like to visit again on a sunny day next time.
あいにくの天気で、上陸できるかできないか、行ってみないと分からない状況での出航でした。しかし、船内で、映像を見ながら、実際に池島で生活されていたガイドさんのお話があまりにも素晴らしく、上陸できなくてもいいとさえ思ってしまうほどでした。
無事に上陸でき、途中、雨と風に吹き付けられ大変な時もありましたが、逆に実際に生活していた方の苦労が、ほんのほんの少しだけ感じられ、ぐっと来るものがありました。
出航前の、軍艦島ミュージアムも良かったです。より軍艦島の歴史を知ることができました。
次回はお天気の良い日に行きたいと思いました。

A few days ago, I was worried about the tour due to heavy snowfall, but I felt relieved when I received a confirmation SMS the day before. The driver was well-trained and provided a lot of helpful information. Unlike group tours, I had the freedom to choose where to go and the timing, which was great.

I made a reservation for a trip with two other people. On the morning of the day, we discussed the course with the driver and added Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine instead of Shirakawa Suigen, allowing us to visit all the places we wanted to see, making for a very fulfilling day. Additionally, the driver recommended a restaurant for lunch where we had red beef bowl, which was great. It was also very interesting to hear the driver share a lot of information about the history of each location and the geography of Aso.
3人での旅行時に予約しました。当日朝に運転手の方とコースの相談をして白川水源の代わりに上色見熊野座神社を追加していただき、行きたかったところを全て巡れて大変充実した1日になりました。また、お昼も運転手さんおすすめの赤牛丼のお店を紹介していただきました。各場所の歴史や阿蘇の地形についてなども運転手さんのお話沢山伺えたのもとても面白かったです。
I participated at the end of February, and Mount Aso and Kusasenri are at a high elevation and quite cold! I recommend dressing warmly.
