The guide's explanations were interesting and enjoyable, making for a quick yet content-rich day. I was worried about the restrooms, but there were plenty on the high-speed boat, at the port, and a few others, which was reassuring. We opted for a bus tour on Taketomi Island, and that was the right choice. Since we had to take an unfamiliar boat and there was a lot of moving around from the morning, it allowed us to enjoy without feeling rushed. If I have the chance again, I would like to take my time exploring each island.

I participated in the Shirakawa-go light-up tour, which usually takes place six times a year, but this year it was held only four times. The weather was nice, and there was just the right amount of snow, creating a fantastical landscape that looked completely different from during the day. I was simply captivated! I'm glad I participated.

Okinawa is a place where you can't get around for sightseeing without a car. Since we are a pair of seniors, we couldn't rent a car for sightseeing, so we participated in this tour. It was great that we could efficiently enjoy the sights. I didn't want to struggle with choosing a restaurant for dinner, so I opted for the dinner option. I was satisfied with the taste and quantity of the food, as well as the chef's performance.
沖縄は車がないと観光で回ることができない所です。シニアの2人連れですので、レンタカーを借りての観光ができず、このツアーに参加しました。

It was a tour to see the Shirakawa-go light-up. This plan did not include tickets for the observation deck at night, but since we made it to the observation deck during the daytime, it was not a problem. It seems that as long as you arrive during the daytime, you can go.
Personally, I appreciated the bus transportation and the meal, but I also enjoyed the introduction from the guide about the scattered villages of the Tonami Plain, the lotus root fields of Kaga vegetables, and the fairy tale village along the way from Kanazawa City to Shirakawa-go.
The meal was just the right amount.
Since the Shirakawa-go light-up is limited to those who have made reservations and the dining options are also limited, I personally recommend this tour!

こちらのプランは夜間の展望台チケットはなかったですが、昼間の時間内に展望台に間に合ったので問題ありませんでした。昼の時間に間に合えば行けるようです20250202時点。
個人的には、バス送迎、ご飯の他にも、金沢市から白川郷への道すがら、ガイドさんから砺波平野の散居村や加賀野菜のれんこん畑、メルヘンの村など富山石川岐阜の紹介があったのがよかったです。

白川郷のライトアップは予約者限定かつご飯の場所も限られているため、こちらのツアーが個人的にはおすすめです！
I recommend wearing ski resort-like attire since it gets cold in winter. It was reassuring to have a flashlight as suggested by the tour. Since it's slippery, I think snow boots would be a good choice

I'm glad I was able to see the illuminated Shirakawa-go, which I've always wanted to visit. The scenery, especially around the three houses, was charming and I could have watched it forever. The tour guide also provided helpful advice on how to enjoy the area, making for a great experience. Next time, I’d like to see Shirakawa-go in the summer without worrying about time.
Although it’s unrelated to the tour, I was concerned about the manners of inbound tourists, and I felt a bit sorry for the local residents. I feel that if measures like separate pricing are not implemented, this beautiful scenery may disappear...

It was a comfortable tour with a small group of 12 participants. We covered all the highlights of Shodoshima, and the guide's explanations were clear and interesting. The weather wasn't very good in the morning, but by the afternoon, the sun came out, and we were able to enjoy the sightseeing comfortably. There was a little hiccup due to the snow the day before, which made the road to Kankakei unusable, so we had to take the round-trip ropeway, but that turned out to be a fun experience. It was an unforgettable journey of about 6 hours. Thank you to the driver, the guide, and everyone I toured with! 😊

I wasn't confident about driving in Sapporo during winter, and taking public transportation seemed challenging, so I decided to sign up for a bus tour. The meeting point was close to Sapporo Station and easy to find.
As for the Ice Festival, it was wonderful. I was able to enjoy both the twilight before sunset and the illumination afterwards. Since it was a holiday on the first day of the festival, it was extremely crowded, and it took a while to get into the parking lot, with long lines inside the venue as well, but I had a great time!
I also recommend that if you have extra time, you can return to the bus early.
冬の札幌で車を運転する自信もなく、かといって公共交通機関で行くのも大変そうなので、バスツアーに申し込んでみました。
待ち合わせ場所は札幌駅から近く、分かりやすかったです。
肝心の氷濤まつりですが、素晴らしいかったです。
陽が沈み切る前の夕暮れ時について、ライトアップ前と後の両方を楽しめました。
氷濤まつり初日の休日だった為か大混雑で、駐車場に入るのに時間がかかったり、会場内でも行列が出来ていたりで時間が足りないくらいでしたが、十分に楽しめました！
時間が余った時は、早めにバスに戻る事も可能との事でおすすめです。

This is a day trip bus tour departing from Hakata Station. The bus ride takes about two hours each way. However, even with the travel time, the mystical scenery and solemn shrines are worth seeing. There seem to be several locations that are said to be "the place of the Amano Iwato," and Amano Iwato Shrine is one of them. It is said that members of the imperial family also visit, so I was grateful to pay my respects there.

This was primarily a bus tour in Chinese. Aside from us and another group of Japanese tourists, most of the participants were from Chinese-speaking regions, but it was not a problem. Our guide, Mr. Zhang, provided explanations in Japanese very politely.
One particularly impressive site was the Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine, which is said to have a landscape like an "entrance to another world." After passing through the shrine and climbing further up the slope, we enjoyed a solemn view at a wind hole.
When I visited before, I had to give up on Aso Nakadake because it was off-limits, but this time we were able to visit it somehow. It was lucky that we boarded the bus just before it was closed due to volcanic gas.

I participated in a tour during the Spring Festival. There were probably only four Japanese people, and the rest were likely all Chinese. The tour guide was also a Chinese person who had been in Japan for two years. Anyway, the group was not punctual at all; we started late, and my concerns about the rest of the trip were confirmed as delays continued. A 10-minute delay was the norm. The only time we were on schedule was for the last restroom break at the service area. I felt sorry for the tour guide, who was anxious every time. I attended a completely reservation-only light-up event. The observation deck tickets were only available through accommodation or bus tours, and they were as difficult to obtain as tickets for the Takayama route or Southern route, while the Kanazawa route was relatively easier to get. I stayed at a hotel in Manza without a rental car, so I was looking for tours that depart from Manza and found one. I was able to visit Kouri Island and Pineapple Park, which I hadn't been to yet during my tour of the main island. Amanohashidate and Ine were wonderful places worth visiting at least once. However, the tour itself was the worst.
First, the sightseeing boat in Ine could only be booked at 12:00 or 16:00, so the order of Amanohashidate and Ine was suddenly switched. At this point, it was already questionable, but then the driver made a wrong turn, causing a nearly 20-minute delay, and we ultimately missed the 12:00 boat, changing to the 16:00 boat instead. We toured Amanohashidate as originally planned. At this point, the guide was expressing dissatisfaction with the driver in Chinese and venting to the Chinese tourists after arriving at Amanohashidate. The guide probably wanted to say that it wasn't their fault, but from the customer's perspective, the guide and driver are on the same team. By the way, the driver did not apologize for the delay at all.
We headed from Amanohashidate to Ine, but this time the guide and driver started arguing again about whether we could reach the funaya by bus. The guide used the bus microphone to express dissatisfaction with the driver in Chinese again, leaving non-Chinese speakers completely out of the loop. Also, although we were supposed to gather at the parking lot at 15:45, the bus was nowhere to be found. It was supposed to rain, but surprisingly, the clouds held off. Although it was slower than walking, I applaud the water buffalo for their effort. I encountered a kingfisher in the mangroves, which made for a very enjoyable time. Finally, we visited Taketomi Island. It was full of old-fashioned charm, and I was able to savor the good old days. I would love to come back again.
