Out of 16 participants, 9 were foreigners. We boarded in Shinjuku, but the bus did not arrive even after the meeting time of 8:35, which made us anxious. However, seeing others who seemed to be on the same tour gave us some relief. It would have been nice to have an explanation in advance that the bus might be delayed.

Unfortunately, it was raining, but I was satisfied that we were able to cover the planned course. We had 30 minutes of free time at each landmark. With the time spent buying souvenirs and using the restroom, the 30 minutes went by quickly, but considering the return time, it couldn't be helped. Although the weather was disappointing, I was glad that we could efficiently visit various places.

The bus was a bit smaller, accommodating about 16 people, but the seating arrangement was spacious and comfortable.

On the day I went, there were about half foreign visitors and half Japanese.

As a gift for each group on the way back, we received chocolate, which was just the right snack for the journey home, and I thought it was thoughtful.
There was a bit of traffic congestion on the way back, but we were blessed with clear weather and enjoyed a wonderful course with views of Mount Fuji.

Unfortunately, the weather on the day was poor, with a storm at Owakudani. It was disappointing that we couldn't climb Mount Fuji due to the snow. However, the visit to Oshino Hakkai and the World Heritage Center, which our tour guide kindly took us to, was wonderful, and I was able to enjoy the time with the foreign guests as well. Both the tour guide and the driver were very pleasant, and I would definitely like to request them again for my next trip to conquer Mount Fuji.

I apologize for the delay, but thank you very much for a truly enjoyable and kind journey.

This trip was a gift from our son to celebrate my husband's retirement. I had always dreamed of visiting Mount Fuji, and even though we couldn't reach the summit, I was very happy to finally go.

On the day of the trip, I woke up early, filled with excitement and anticipation. When I arrived at the meeting point in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, a woman holding a yellow placard was waiting for us. When I approached her, she greeted me with a bright response. We boarded the waiting bus and headed to the next meeting point in Shinjuku, where everyone gathered before departing for our destination.

I felt a bit anxious since most of the participants were foreigners, but my worries were eased when our tour guide, Mayumi, began to speak. She explained the tour details very thoroughly. For example, she shared that when disembarking from the pirate ship in Hakone, we needed to get off quickly to secure seats for the next lunch, which was something only an experienced person would know. She also took the time to go around to each group at the sightseeing spots to take photos, showing her thoughtful care.

The highlights of the trip were being able to talk with foreigners, taking photos, and enjoying the magnificent views of Mount Fuji. However, it was a bit disappointing that we could only go up to the fourth station instead of the fifth. 　旅行でよかったことは、外国の方と話せたことや写真が撮れたこと、藤さんの素晴らしい景色を見ることができたことです。ただ残念なのは富士山の五合目までではなく四合目までしか行けなかったことです。時期的に行けないものだったようなので、事前にその情報があったほうがよかったなと思いました。多くは、「まゆみさん」のおかげで記念になる旅でした。参加できてよかったです。お世話になりました。

It was a weekday tour mainly for foreigners. Both the guide and the driver communicated in very fluent English. Despite the rain, the itinerary went smoothly. We departed from Shinjuku before 9 AM and returned to Shinjuku before 7 PM. It was a great experience as they explained Japanese culture, including Hakone marquetry. We also enjoyed the Ashinoko pirate ship cruise and the Hakone Ropeway. We had lunch, black eggs from Owakudani, and warm kamaboko. Although we couldn't see the summit of Mount Fuji due to the clouds, we thoroughly enjoyed Japanese culture, natural scenery, transportation, and the delicious food of Hakone.

I went to Tokyo to watch my daughter's idol graduation live performance, and since I was there, I wanted to fulfill my long-held dream of seeing Mount Fuji up close. After searching online, I discovered this tour! Additionally, there was a campaign where if you posted about your experience, the second person would be free, which was wonderful.

However, we were supposed to meet in front of the Shinjuku Center Building. I arrived early at 8:15 for the 8:35 check-in, but there were no VELTRA staff present, which made me anxious. I called the emergency contact, but they were in Osaka and didn’t have clear information. Another travel company staff member mentioned that the meeting point might be on the opposite side, so I ran around the Center Building, but there were no buses or staff to be found. Just when I was feeling lost, I noticed someone who hadn’t been there before. As I approached, they were holding a VELTRA sign, which was a relief.

I wish they had arrived at least 10 to 20 minutes earlier. I thought we would depart at 8:35, but it turned out we left at 8:50 after picking up passengers from Ikebukuro. I would have liked to see a clear itinerary showing the departure time from Ikebukuro and the expected arrival time in Shinjuku.

Nonetheless, the course and the tour guide were fantastic, which made it all forgivable. We boarded a wonderful pirate ship in Hakone, enjoyed a delicious hamburger for lunch (it was crowded, so I had my son save our seats while I ordered), then took the ropeway and enjoyed the view as we arrived at Owakudani, where I finally got to see Mount Fuji beautifully. I took many photos and enjoyed the black eggs.

We then headed by bus to the 4th station of Mount Fuji (it was supposed to be the 5th station, but the toll booth staff said it wouldn’t open until April). As we got closer to Mount Fuji, I was thrilled to see the large, beautiful mountain on my left. The snow hadn’t melted, and since it rarely snows where I live, I played in it. The view from the observation deck was also great. After fully enjoying Mount Fuji, we headed back to Shinjuku and Ikebukuro.

The tour guide was a friendly woman who spoke English for the foreign guests. She encouraged us to take family photos together. We received a bag of snacks as a souvenir for each group, which was a nice touch. It became a wonderful memory, and I had a great time. Thank you very much. P.S. After posting my experience for the monitor tour, I received a refund on my credit card five days later. I appreciate it.

娘のアイドル卒業ライブを観るために東京に行くので、せっかくなので以前から富士山をまじかで観てみたい夢を叶えるべくネット検索するとこのコースを発見!。さらにキャンペーンで体験を投稿すると2人目無料とのこと嬉しい限り。
しかし、新宿センタービル前集合。チェックイン8:35で早目に8:15に到着したがVELTRAのスタッフさんはおられず不安になり緊急連絡先に電話したがその方は大阪にいるとのことで結局よくわからないと（心配して後でお電話をしてくださいましたが）他の旅行会社の方が集合場所が反対側かもしれないですよとのことでセンタービルを一周小走りに回るがバスもスタッフさんもおられず。途方にくれていたところ時間を過ぎた頃ふと見ると今までいなかった方が‥近寄るとVELTRAの表示を持っておられて一安心。
せめて10分〜20分くらい早目に来ていて欲しかったですね。
8:35出発と思っていたが池袋から乗せて新宿に来る為8時50分出発とのこと。
行程表にしっかりと池袋〇時〇分出発➡︎新宿〇時〇分到着出発と池袋から来ることと各場所に到着の目安の時間を表示していて欲しかった。
でもでも、コース、添乗員さんが最高で全然許せます。
箱根は素敵な海賊船に乗船→ランチも美味しいハンバーグを頂き（混んでいたので息子に席取りを任せて私が並んで食事を注文）→ロープウェイに乗り景色を眺めながら大涌谷に着くと念願の富士山が綺麗に見えました。写真も沢山撮り、黒卵を食べ満喫満喫。バスで富士山4合目まで出発（5合目予定でしたが4月にならないと5合目はオープンしないと料金所の方が言われてました。）富士山に近づいていくと左手に大きく綺麗な富士山が観えて感激。富士山は雪が解けず残っていて、私が住んでいるところは雪が積もることが滅多にないので踏んだりして遊びました。展望台からの景色もよかったです。富士山満喫した後は新宿、池袋に向けて帰りました。
添乗員さんも女性で気さくな優しい方でお客さんは外国の方もおられ英語でも説明をされていました。記念撮影も添乗員さんから声掛けをしてくださり家族で撮ってもらいました。1グループに1袋でお菓子のお土産をもらい嬉しかったです。とてもいい思い出になり楽しかったです。ありがとうございました。追伸、モニターツアーで体験投稿で5日後、クレジットカードに返金してくださいました。感謝です。

The tour I participated in was a weekday small group tour mainly for foreigners. Thanks to the weekday and the small group size, the itinerary went very smoothly without any unnecessary stops. We departed at 8:30 AM and were back in Shinjuku before 5 PM.

The guide was enthusiastic and prepared various interesting stories, frequently explaining the scenery around us as we traveled. It was impressive that all the passengers sang along to a song about Mount Fuji and enjoyed learning the lyrics together. (Since everyone was a foreigner this time, it also meant explanations about Japanese culture. If the customers were Japanese, the explanations might have been different.)

For lunch, we had a Western-style meal while enjoying the view of the pirate ship at Togendai. We couldn't ride the Hakone Ropeway due to maintenance, so instead, we went to Owakudani by bus. The 5th station of Mount Fuji was also closed, so we went to the 4th station viewpoint via the Subaru Line instead. At the 4th station, the weather was a bit cloudy, so there wasn't much of a view, but the summit of Mount Fuji was clearly visible.

Overall, it was an enjoyable trip thanks to the friendly guide, driver, and fellow tourists.

お昼は桃源台でパイレット船を眺めながら洋食ランチ。
箱根ロープウェーはメンテナンスのために、乗れなかった。その代わりに、バスで大涌谷に行っていた。富士山5合目も空いてなかったため、代わりにスバルラインで4合目の展望台に行ってきました。４合目では、天気がちょっと曇っているので、展望の風景はなかったが、富士山頂ははっきりと見えてました。
全体的に、フレンドリーなガイドさん、ドライバーさん、そして観光客によって、楽しかった旅でした。

I was very lucky that we had a clear day during our Mt. Fuji trip so the group I was with was able to do and visit all the attractions as stated on the description except that we were only able to visit 1st station since 4th and 5th station were closed due to heavy snow. It's not a big deal though as there are still lots of chances to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji on the way. If you're planning to visit Mt Fuji during winter, make sure to layer well since its colder there compared to the city. Expect as well a long travel time from Tokyo to Mt Fuji as it's roughly 139 km away. And lastly, I highly suggest to take the option with Bullet train as it will only take you 40 mins back to Tokyo compared to 2-3 hours travel back by bus.

FYI, the bus first row (left and right) are reserved for the guide and driver#2!

Great trip! Shame about weather but what can you do?

It was a great trip. Hiro was a lovely guide, very helpful and friendly. Sadly the weather was very poor due to bad luck and we couldn’t see Mt Fuji but she bought us all a lovely postcard instead which was really sweet of her. The locations were still beautiful, the small villages were so peaceful and relaxing compared to the madness of Tokyo and the trip well organised.
We took the options to not include the meal and trips and just paid upfront for the cablecar which is all we wanted to do. We also bought our own lunch instead of having the western style meal as it didn’t appeal as much. The fact that this trip has options is one of the main reasons we chose it and I’m very glad we did so!
I would highly recommend this company for any tours!

Our guide was very sweet and accommodating! This tour is weather-dependent. Unfortunately our tour was affected by bad weather so the scenic views were compromised. A lot of time was spent on the bus because it was cold and wet. That’s when you make the best of it with the people you are with!

Very well organised and a good trip to see Mt Fuji from different perspectives. This was from going onto Fuji, we went to the 4th station because the winter snow prevented us from going to the 5th station. It didnt matter that we couldnt go further as it was a great view out. Then we moved on to lunch at the theme park and although this was an option it was worth it to have been served very well with good food. We sat in a lovely French decorated dining room with an amazing view of Mount Fuji. Then on to a boat trip on the lake to see Fuji from this viewpoint and we were lucky to have a cold but very clear day to see its beauty. After the lake we moved on to the cable car which took us up to another viewpoint to see Fuji and and town below. All great photo opportunities and a great experience for a tourist to capture Mt Fuji at its best.

It was very nice, relaxing day with beautiful views and tasty lunch. We had such a nice and funny guide, who spoke perfect english and took great care of us. There was enough time at each place we have visited. Good value for this price, highly recommend the trip.

A wonderful trip.We were fetched on time. Very professional guide, she was with us all the way and made sure everyone was ok.informative talks about the various places we visited. We were fortunate to see Mt Fuji clearly. The cable car was excellent and so was the boat ride. not much places to eat at the lunch place so maybe take the lunch option.or take your own snacks and meals.weather didnt permit us to go to 5th station but we got views from the ropeway.
Just a note to future travellers,please be at the designated spot on time otherwise it wastes a lot of time trying to locate all the passengers.

Good value trip

You get a little bit of everything on this trip. 5th Station, brief stop at a theme park, a short cruise on the lake, and a stop by a beautiful garden. The main thing missing is time. You simply don't get enough time at each destination. I think the stop at Fuji-Q can be taken out. Nonetheless, the tour is good value for the price and you get to experience a lot.

Convenient group gathering place.
I recommend taking a ticket with a boat trip and funicular, they offer a magnificent view of Fuji.

This tour covers all the mandatory sights in and around Mount Fuji on a day trip from Tokyo. The guide was very helpful. If you have JR pass then you can take the shinkansen back to Tokyo else it is good idea to boom the tour with bullet train package. Food served during the tour was average. Overall a goos experience.

The weather was beautiful and the traffic was very smooth. I had the basic package and purchased the 4000 yen package when I got on the bus. 100% worth it!

This was truly awesome, I have dreamed of visiting Mt Fuji since I was a child. It was everything I expected and as there was not a great deal of snow around I think I got lucky with this year.
