We had a canoe experience as a family of three. The guide, Mr. Seki, provided clear explanations and communicated with all participants, which made us feel at ease throughout the experience. We learned a lot about Iriomote Island and the ecology of the mangroves.
They provided both a small paddle for our 8-year-old daughter and an adult-sized paddle, but she persevered and paddled with the adult paddle until the end. It was also very enjoyable to get out of the canoe to see the mangroves up close and touch the creatures living there.
Although it was our first canoe experience, it became a precious opportunity to feel the nature of Iriomote Island, and we created wonderful memories.
家族３人でカヌー体験をしました。
ガイドの関さんの説明がわかりやすく、また、参加者全員とコミュニケーションを取りながら進めてくださったので、終始安心して参加することがでしましたし、西表島のことやマングローブの生態のことなど色々と知ることができました。
８歳の娘には子供用の小さいパドルと大人と同じパドル両方貸してくださいましたが、最後まで大人と同じパドルで頑張って漕いでいました。
途中カヌーをおりてマングローブを近くで見たり、そこにすむ生き物に触れたりしたこともとても楽しかったです。
初めてのカヌー体験でしたが、西表島の自然を感じられるとても貴重な体験になり、いい思い出ができました。
防水ケースがないとスマホ等をカヌーに持ち込めません。ガイドさんがたくさん写真を撮って送ってくださったので助かりましたが、自分で写真を撮りたい方は防水ケースが必須です。
This time, we guided a tour of the Urauchi River at low tide. It was a very valuable experience to encounter creatures and ecosystems that can only be seen during low tide. While there are many attractions during high tide, the scenery and discoveries unique to low tide are exceptional. In particular, it was impressive to observe many creatures up close, such as the fiddler crab and the southern mudskipper, which are usually hidden. We were able to thoroughly enjoy the changing nature of the Urauchi River with the seasons and time, spending an unforgettable wonderful time.

We created family memories with Yamato, whose refreshing smile and reliability made a great impression, and Ellie, who radiated a wonderful aura of kindness! I had the impression that the Blue Cave would be crowded, so I had been avoiding it until now, but I wanted my children to experience it, so I participated this time.
On the day of the tour, there were many tour companies, but it seemed relatively uncrowded, and we were able to get into the sea right away from Maeda Cape.
Our tour guide, Mr. Kaneshiro, was very thorough in his explanations, kept the conversation lively, and was a master at creating mysterious rings. He also took a lot of photos for us.
Additionally, the restaurants he recommended were both very delicious! The food at COBY was especially amazing!
I highly recommend this tour company.
青の洞窟は混んでいるイメージがあって今まで敬遠していたのですが、子供達にも体験して欲しくて今回参加しました。
当日はたくさんのツアー会社がいましたが、比較的空いていたようで、眞栄田岬からはすぐに海に入れました。
ツアーを担当してくださった金城さんは、説明がとても丁寧で、たくさん話を盛り上げてくれて、謎の輪っかを作る達人でした。写真もたくさん撮ってくれました。
また、お勧めしていただいた飲食店はどちらもとても美味しかったです！特にCOBY最高でした！

I was really looking forward to leisurely watching tropical fish, but it turned out to be quite a workout. However, the instructor was very kind and attentive, which made the experience reassuring. Since we were two women paddling, it was challenging, but I feel that if I were paired with a man, it would be a bit more relaxing. If I have the chance again, I would like to try a different activity.

The instructor guided us in a fun way. Just participating in the kayaking experience while listening to enjoyable stories was worth it, but being able to see the nature and creatures of Okinawa made it a priceless experience. My 5-year-old daughter missed her nap time and got a bit cranky, but the instructor handled it without showing any displeasure, which was a great help! Thank you very much.

I went on a tour with Yufu Island and kayaking! Yufu Island had more attractions than I expected, and there were many photo spots to enjoy! I learned a lot about the mangroves while kayaking! I participated with my 2-3 year old child. Since the adults who joined were all women, when we started, we struggled to move the kayak forward. In the end, the guide kindly tied our two kayaks together and pulled us along! (laughs) I'm really grateful for their efforts. The sunset was beautiful, and it became a wonderful memory. Since the pumpkin cave and sea kayaking were canceled, this review is only for snorkeling.
You can easily enter the sea by walking from the shore, so even those who are not comfortable with boats can participate without hesitation. Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any sea turtles, but the sea was beautiful, and I did get to see Nemo 😃. The staff was also kind and provided good service.
パンプキン鍾乳洞とシーカヤックが中止になったのでシュノーケリングのみの評価です。
海岸から歩いて海に入るので、船が苦手な方でも気軽に参加できます。残念ながらウミガメには遭遇出来ませんでしたが、海も綺麗でニモにも会えました😃

I had a great experience on the tour, guided by a muscular former firefighter named Yamato, which made me feel at ease! He shared stories about the limestone caves, and we had a mystical experience canoeing. We also got to experience a very cold, refreshing natural underground water pool deep inside the caves❄. I was able to see sea turtles, and it turned out to be an incredibly fun and amazing trip! Thank you very much!

It takes just over two hours from gathering to dispersing, so it's best to participate with some time to spare. This way, you can take your time. It's a gentle experience, but since you'll be going down the river and then back up, I found the latter half to be more tiring than I expected. Also, in the shallow parts of the river, you'll need to walk, so it's advisable to prepare for that as well. Considering all of this, it was a very good experience for the family.

In the first half, we leisurely floated along the river. It was full of adventure as we passed under the mangroves and spotted crabs and bats. When we rode the gentle current out to the sea, the orange sun was beginning to set. After about 15 minutes swaying with the ocean waves, the orange color of the sky deepened as the sun sank below the horizon. The rich oxygen, vibrant colors, and the view of the horizon provided a detoxifying experience. The return trip was not as tough as I had anticipated, making for a pleasant workout. I would love to participate again.
前半は川の流れにのってのんびりと。マングローブの下をくぐったり、カニやコウモリを見つけたりして冒険気分満載でした。
ゆるやかな流れに乗り海へ出ると、オレンジ色の太陽が沈みかけてました。海の波に揺られる事15分位かな？空のオレンジ色が濃くなり水平線に太陽が潜っていきました。濃い酸素、鮮やかな色、水平線の景色、デトックスな時間でした。帰りも覚悟していた程はキツくなく、程よいエクササイズとなりました。

I understand that making safety decisions in such harsh natural environments can be challenging, but we were very satisfied.

Today, due to the impact of the typhoon, we only did sea turtle snorkeling. She wasn't very confident in swimming, so I was quite worried until we started, but our guide, Riki, was very kind and reassuring. Not only did he carefully explain how to move in the water beforehand, but he also provided detailed information about the creatures we saw. It was really great. He took wonderful photos and videos, so I recommend this experience for couples or families.

On this day, the waves were high, so we couldn't go to the Pumpkin Cave, but in the morning we experienced snorkeling, and in the afternoon, we tried sea kayaking. My 8-year-old was super excited to see a sea turtle swimming right in front of him during his first snorkeling experience. Then, during the highly anticipated sea kayaking, thanks to the staff's kindness, he also got to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). When I asked him which activity he enjoyed the most, he said, "They were all fun!" (laughs)
Yutti, our snorkeling guide, and Hiro and Kyo-chan, who guided us with their Kansai dialect during kayaking and SUP, all provided very clear explanations, making us feel safe during the experience. Their attentive service and fun conversations allowed our family to have a wonderful time! Next time, we plan to tackle the cave again, and I definitely want to request it here.

I was taken care of during the snorkeling, sea kayaking, and pumpkin cave tour on the 23rd. I got to see a sea turtle while snorkeling, and I was captivated by the very mystical world of the pumpkin cave. Especially in the pumpkin cave, with the guide's help, I climbed the walls and was even splashed by a waterfall. It far exceeded my expectations for the tour, and I'm really glad I participated. The guide, Tsubasa, was very polite, great at keeping the energy up, and I had a wonderful time.

Since it was the earliest time in the morning, there weren't many other customers or groups, allowing us to leisurely enjoy various aspects of nature. It was my first time kayaking, and I was a bit anxious at first, but they taught us carefully, making it a refreshing experience that I can't usually have in the city! We participated as a family of four, but due to the typhoon, it was canceled. Just when we were feeling disappointed, we were offered the opportunity to go kayaking in the inland sea. When we arrived that day, there were many people gathered, and a handsome guide suggested snorkeling at a different location. They flexibly changed the plan, and as a result, we had a wonderful snorkeling experience.
The service was very polite, and even our children, who were experiencing this for the first time, felt safe participating. When introducing children to nature, in a new place, and with new experiences, safety and reassurance are the top priorities, so we were very grateful for the way they handled everything.
During snorkeling, we were able to swim alongside sea turtles and beautifully colored tropical fish at an arm's length, and our entire family was extremely satisfied.

がっかりしていたところ内海でのカヤックをご提案いただきました。
当日行くと大勢人が集まっており、イケメンのガイドさんが再度別の場所でのシュノーケリングをご提案。臨機応変にプラン変更していただけ、結果素晴らしいシュノーケリング体験ができました。
対応も非常に丁寧で、初体験の子どもも安心して参加出来ました。
自然相手で、初めての場所、初めての体験を子どもにさせる際、やはり安心安全が最優先となる中でこのような対応をして頂けたのがとても有り難かったです。
シュノーケリングはウミガメや美しい色をした南国の魚が手に取るような距離で一緒に泳ぐことができ、家族全員が大満足でした。

Canoeing was challenging as it was difficult to synchronize our movements, but it was a very enjoyable experience! The Pumpkin Cave was impressive, beautiful, and felt like a very sacred place. Lastly, jumping into the sea from the Pumpkin Cave was an unforgettable memory! Thank you to our guide, Blackbeard from Miyako Island, for the clear explanations and for creating such a fun time!

The day before, I went trekking to Jomon Sugi. The next day, I went to Shiratani Unsuikyo with Mr. Tawaki. I was a bit anxious about participating alone, but he shared many stories about Yakushima, which was very educational. Mr. Tawaki's stamina while talking continuously during the hike was impressive. The lunch was delicious too!
In the afternoon, I tried kayaking for the first time, and I was able to grasp the techniques along the way, which made it really fun. 前日に縄文杉トレッキング。翌日に田脇さんと白谷雲水峡。一人参加で少し不安でしたが心ずっと屋久島の色んな話してくれて勉強になりました。登山中ずっとしゃべり続ける田脇さんの心肺能力凄いです。お弁当も美味しかった！
午後からはカヤック初挑戦でしたが、途中からコツもつかめてとっても楽しかったです。砂浜で食べた、よもぎ餅とお茶すごく美味しかったです。SUPも体験させていただき大満足と大感動の1日でした。次回は滝や沢登り宮之浦岳等々まだまだ行きたい所があります。全部田脇さんに教えてもらったのですが…

Aside from the heavy rain, getting wet in the summer felt nice. Since I would end up drenched in sweat anyway, I chose to be soaked from the rain instead.
土砂降り以外、夏は雨に濡れるのも気持ち良かったです。

Even though it was pouring rain, the forest felt wonderful. The Shiratani in the rain is the best.
The snack we had while kayaking was "Kakaran Dango," a rich mugwort dumpling. It's a specialty from Kagoshima, but the one from Yakushima has a stronger mugwort flavor!
The location by the river made it even more delicious.
Since you love waterfalls, Salla, let's definitely go on a tour of the stunning waterfalls next time!

雨でびしょびしょを選んでも気持ちの良い森でしたね。雨の白谷最高です。
カヤックの時に食べたのは『かからん団子』という濃厚ヨモギ団子です。鹿児島名物ですが屋久島のはヨモギが濃い！
川で食べたロケーションも良く、美味しさが増しましたね。
滝好きのsallaさんですので、次回は是非絶景の滝めぐりをしましょう！
