Recently, my wife and I participated in this experience. With hotel pick-up included, it was quite easy to join, and having a guide made us feel secure.
Although there were a few clouds on the day, the slowly setting sunset was truly unforgettable in its beauty. As we gazed at the horizon dyed in pink and orange, we felt like we could forget all the daily hustle and bustle, sharing a luxurious moment together that naturally eased our minds.
My wife, who was canoeing for the first time, was delighted, saying it was cooler than expected and easier than she thought. I was happy that we could enjoy it together.
If we have the chance to go to Ishigaki Island again, I would like to try SUP as well. Thank you very much!
先日、妻と二人で参加しました。ホテルからの送迎付きで約2時間とかなり気軽に参加でき、ガイドさんがついてくれたので安心感がありました。
当日は雲が少しあったものの、ゆっくりと沈む夕日は本当に忘れられない美しさでした。
ピンクやオレンジに染まる水平線を見つめながら日々の喧騒をすべて忘れてしまうような、贅沢な時間を二人で共有でき、自然と心がほぐれていく感覚がありました。
カヌーは初めてだった妻も、涼しかったし思ってたより簡単でよかったと喜んでいて、一緒に楽しめたのが嬉しかったです。
また石垣島に行けたらSUPにも挑戦したいです。

I participated alone on the last morning of my trip to Ishigaki Island. It was drizzling that day, but there were many unique benefits to the rain. The mangrove forest was beautifully wet and glimmered in deep green, and the ripples created by raindrops on the water's surface were stunning.
Even though I was alone, the guide frequently checked in with me, so I felt completely at ease. They also patiently taught me the techniques for paddling, which was reassuring. The sensation of blending into the water was pleasant, and the coolness of the raindrops hitting my body was refreshing.
When I listened closely, I could clearly hear the sounds of birds and water, making me feel one with nature. The guide took us to a spot that could only be accessed when the tide was low, allowing us to explore a cave.
While I believe that sunny mornings with the sunrise and blue skies are wonderful, the moist air and tranquility unique to rainy days provided a very luxurious experience in its own way. After it was over, I felt completely refreshed. I highly recommend this tour, as it can be enjoyed regardless of the weather and in a short amount of time.

当日は小雨が降っていましたが、雨ならではの良さがたくさんありました。
マングローブ林がしっとり濡れて深い緑色に輝き、雨粒が水面に描く輪がとても綺麗でした。
1人での参加でしたが、ガイドさんがこまめに声をかけてくれたので不安はまったくなく、漕ぎ方のコツも丁寧に教えてもらえたので安心でした。
水面に馴染んでいく感覚が心地よく、雨粒が体にあたるひんやり感もむしろリフレッシュになりました。
耳を澄ますと鳥の声や水の音が鮮明に聞こえて、自然と一体になれた気がしました。
ガイドさんが潮位が高くないと行けない場所まで連れて行ってくださり、洞窟探検もできました。
晴れの日の朝日や青空の景色ももちろん素敵だと思いますが、雨の日ならではのしっとりとした空気や静寂は、ある意味とても贅沢な体験でした。
終わったあとは心がすっきりしました。
天候に左右されず短時間でも楽しめるツアーなのでおすすめです。
早起きして体を動かすので、軽く何か食べてから参加した方が良いかなと思いました。

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time and participated with my husband. It was a more active experience than I expected, allowing us to fully enjoy nature. At first, I was nervous getting into the canoe, but the instructor taught us how to paddle carefully, so I felt secure while paddling. Surrounded by mangrove forests on both sides, we were able to see wild animals like crabs, gobies, and rails up close on the beach, and thanks to our guide, we made many small discoveries. The leisurely time during sunset, as the sky changed from orange to purple, felt very luxurious. The sensation of chasing the sinking sun while paddling with our own strength is unforgettable. After moving our bodies thoroughly, we felt a refreshing sense of accomplishment, making dinner taste even better. Thank you very much.
It turned out to be a very fulfilling day, and if such experiences are easily accessible, I thought I might want to live in Ishigaki Island!

We participated as a family of three. In the morning, we went canoeing near the mangroves, and in the afternoon, we went snorkeling. Both were our first experiences, but the guide was friendly and taught us carefully, so we had no problems and enjoyed ourselves. During the transfers and activities, the guide shared a lot of local trivia and recommended delicious places, which was very helpful.
Moreover, the weather was great for both activities, and the water was clear, so we couldn't have asked for more. The snorkeling, in particular, was breathtaking with an abundance of fish and coral that exceeded our expectations.
We didn't bring our smartphones or cameras, but the guide took many photos from angles we couldn't capture ourselves and sent them to us the same day, so there was no need to bring them.
It was very tiring, but it was a fun day overall.

I participated in a mangrove kayak tour and a visit to Yubu Island!
The mangroves were surrounded by trees on both sides, making the waterways narrow, which gave a thrilling sense of adventure and was really enjoyable.
I got stuck in the mangroves a few times, but our guide, Rui, kindly helped me out and provided just the right amount of advice.
The visit to Yubu Island was great because we got to ride water buffalo to the island, which is an experience you don't usually get.

It was tough to wake up early, but I'm glad I participated. I was worried about canoeing for the first time, but it turned out to be easier than I expected. The moment the sunrise came up in the quiet space with only the sounds of birds and waves was moving. The instructor also took some photos for us. Due to bad weather, we couldn't do snorkeling and SUP at the planned location, but they suggested an alternative spot. As a result, we unexpectedly got to see sea turtles, which made us very happy. The SUP instructor was a really funny guy, so we were never bored. It was a lot of fun.
悪天候で予定のポイントでのシュノーケルとSUPが出来ませんでしたが、別ポイントでの開催を提案して頂きました。結果、予定外にウミガメにも会うこともできとても満足です。SUPのインストラクターのお兄さんがとても面白い方だったので全く退屈しませんでした。とても楽しかったです。

The first thing that caught my eye was the strong mangrove forest with its deeply rooted trees. The countless roots stretching out from the mud looked like living sculptures, and I felt the resilience of nature. As I paddled along the water's surface, branches and leaves spread out on both sides, making it feel like I was rowing through a green tunnel. The breeze was gentle, and every time I looked up at the sky, the bright blue and white clouds were stunning.
The guide was really kind, and their explanations were clear and interesting! They talked about the nature and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a fun way, providing not just beautiful scenery but also plenty of learning opportunities. I felt a sense of security, which allowed me to relax and enjoy canoeing even as a first-timer.
As I glided over the calm water, I was enveloped in a feeling of "time flowing slowly," something I can't experience in my daily life, and I felt truly refreshed. Being healed by the energy of nature and encountering views that can only be seen here was a truly special experience.

I participated in a SUP and snorkeling session that ended in the morning at the beginning of September, when the weather can be quite changeable. The weather was nice, and during low tide, the sea sparkled, making the coral visible up close. I struggled to keep up with the SUP until I got the hang of it, but since it was early in the morning, there were few people around, and I was able to jump into the sea and enjoy a refreshing time.
I had a hard time finding a turtle while snorkeling and thought I might not see one, but I kept swimming. Thanks to the instructor who didn’t give up searching, I was finally able to meet a turtle leisurely eating at the end.
Since I had arranged for transportation, getting around was easy, and I got to hear interesting stories about island life and was recommended some delicious places to eat. I had some anxiety about being back in the sea after a long time, but from start to finish, Ricky's smile encouraged me, and my family was able to have a great time!
天候が変わりやすい9月頭に午前中で終わるSUPとシュノーケリングに参加しました。天気もよく、干潮で海がキラキラと珊瑚が近い距離に見えました。SUPは慣れるまでついてくのに必死だったけど、朝イチだったので人も少なく、海に飛び込んだり気持ちのいい時間を過ごせました。シュノーケリングはなかなか亀さんが見つからず、見れないかなーと思ってましたが、ひたすら泳ぐ泳ぐ。お姉さんが諦めずに探してくれたおかげで最後にのんびり食事中の亀さんに会うことができました。
今回は送迎をお願いしてたので移動も楽に、車内では島の暮らしや、いろんな面白い話を聞かせてもらったり、美味しいお店も教えてもらえました。久しぶりの海に不安があったけど、最初から最後まで担当のリッキーの笑顔に励まされ家族で楽しむことができました！

On my first trip to Miyako Island, I signed up for a tour to experience marine sports all at once.
We started with sea kayaking and then explored a limestone cave, and I was completely overwhelmed by the mystical beauty of Pumpkin! Jumping from Pumpkin was also thrilling and a lot of fun!
We had about a two-hour lunch break, so I took a short nap before joining the snorkeling activity. The guide, with his refreshing smile, made it enjoyable, and I learned about the corals and fish of Miyako Island. The water was incredibly clear, and I was so excited to see sea turtles up close!
I was moved by how close I could get to the corals and many different types of fish. I'm really glad I participated in this tour. Thank you!
初めての宮古島旅行で、マリンスポーツを一気に体験したくてツアーに申し込みをしました。
初めはシーカヤックからの鍾乳洞で、パンプキンは神秘的で凄く圧倒されました！パンプキンからのジャンプも刺激的で凄く面白かったです!

We experienced the pumpkin cave and snorkeling course with our family of four, including high school and university students. Thank you to Kana, a cheerful and energetic young man from Osaka who resembles Shuhei Nomura. We are grateful for your kind and attentive service, which helped us create wonderful family memories. It was our first time in Miyako Island, and we were amazed by the beautifully clear blue sea and sky, the mystical caves, and the sight of Nemo and adorable sea turtles swimming right in front of us. In the early morning, during the time when the heat has yet to ease, I arrived at the location. I learned how to use the oars and initially thought, "I will paddle on my own without relying on my partner," and got into the kayak with determination. However, that enthusiasm turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Just lightly dipping the oars into the water allowed the kayak to glide remarkably smoothly. When I stopped paddling, it felt as if time had stopped, and I could simply float on the river's surface. The instructor kindly taught us, saying, "The kingfisher is calling," and "The mangrove is a type of tree called 'Mehirugi'," paying attention to each participant, which made it easy to enjoy the experience.
The river's flow was so gentle that I hardly noticed it, and when I looked up, I saw the bright blue sky and pure white clouds typical of Okinawa. I heard that families participated, and even a 93-year-old had joined, making me feel that this tour was enjoyable even for someone in their 70s like me.
This tour created many memories. It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to rediscover the charm of Okinawa, and I now want to challenge myself to kayak on another river next time.

I was able to go to Barasu Island, which I had wanted to visit for a long time, and I was deeply moved! Initially, the plan was to land by boat, but I received a call the day before saying that due to the tides, we couldn't land by boat and had to choose between snorkeling to get there or giving up on Barasu Island and going to Yufu Island instead (there was originally a note about the possibility of changing the tour).
Since I have children and had never been to a place where I couldn't touch the bottom, I was anxious about snorkeling, but our guide, Toshi, kindly explained everything over the phone, which I really appreciated. In the end, I was glad I chose snorkeling. I got to see a lot of fish in the beautiful sea, and I was able to go to Barasu Island as well.
The mangrove canoeing was also fun, as we could all ride together as a family of five, and it felt like an adventure. I would like to join Toshi's tour again next time!

当初は船で上陸するプランでしたが、前日に電話があり潮の関係で船では上陸できず途中からシュノーケリングで向かうか、バラス島は諦めて由布島に行くか選んでくださいとのことでした（ツアー変更の可能性については元々記載がありました）
子供もおり、足がつかない所に行ったことがなかった為シュノーケリングに不安がありましたがガイドのトッシーが電話で丁寧に説明してくださりありがたかったです。結果、シュノーケリングを選んで良かったです。綺麗な海で魚をたくさん見られたし、バラス島にも行くことができました。
マングローブカヌーも、夫婦と子供３人乗りができ、冒険のようで楽しかったです。
次また行く際にもトッシーのツアーで参加したいと思います！

I previously went snorkeling in Onna Village and didn't enjoy it much, but this time there were plenty of fish, and I was able to snorkel freely and have fun! There were so many fish that I felt a bit of ocean phobia, but I think I overcame it! For those who are unsure about swimming, you can hold onto the float that the guide has, so I think you'll be able to enjoy it! You can also take a lot of photos while doing SUP, so I believe you'll be satisfied! With the free time, you can go quite far and relax, so I highly recommend it!
以前恩納村でシュノーケリングしてあまりハマらなかったのですが、今回は魚がいっぱいいて比較的自由に楽しくシュノーケリングさせて頂きました！魚がたくさんいて楽しかったので若干海洋恐怖症でしたが克服できた気がします！泳ぎが不安な方はガイドの方が持ってる浮き輪に掴まって泳げるので楽しめると思います！SUPも写真をたくさん撮って貰えるので満足できると思います！自由な時間で結構遠くまで行けたりのんびりできるのでオススメです！

I participated in a morning mangrove canoe activity. We were transported by bus from the port to the mangroves, and the explanations were thorough and easy to understand, allowing us to fully enjoy the activity! There were multiple groups participating, but three instructors were present, ensuring we had plenty of fun. Instructor Rui taught us a lot about canoeing, the mangroves, and Iriomote Island itself, making it easy for beginners to enjoy the natural beauty of Iriomote without feeling nervous.
