SUP, sea turtle snorkeling, and the pumpkin cave were more than I expected.
I participated in early January, but it felt like October or November in Honshu. I was thrilled to be able to join such wonderful activities in the winter sea of Japan.
Above all, I was captivated by the clarity of the waters around Miyako Island and the mystery of the cave. Our guide (Tetchan) provided concise explanations and advice, and his behavior was very much like a natural tour guide. He took many beautiful photos for us.
SUP、ウミガメシュノーケリング、パンプキン鍾乳洞 期待値以上の感動
1月上旬の参加でしたが、本州の10月11月ぐらいの体感で 冬に日本の海でこんな素敵なアクティビティに参加できて感激
何より宮古島の海の透明度と、鍾乳洞の神秘さに魅了されました。ガイドさん(てっちゃん)が無駄のない説明とアドバイス、自然ツアーガイドらしい振る舞いもよかったです。素敵な写真をいっぱい撮ってもらいました。
冬の時期の参加は、身体が冷えるので午前の部が終わったら一旦ホテルに戻って身体を温めてから午後のツアーに参加するとよい 昼休憩しっかりあるので、ホテルの位置が片道30分程度なら戻れます。

I participated with my fourth-grade daughter, my second-year middle school daughter, and my family of four. We did SUP, then kayaking, followed by pumpkin activities, and snorkeling. This time, I came to Miyako Island for the first time because I wanted to see sea turtles. I found a tour that included snorkeling, sea kayaking, and a visit to the Pumpkin Cave, and I signed up for it. I was worried about whether I could meet sea turtles in the winter sea, but I was so happy that I could enter the water wearing a wetsuit and finally see the sea turtles I had longed to meet💕 The tour guide, Tecchan, took wonderful photos, and I made many memories from the trip😊
The day I participated in the tour, it was cloudy, but the underwater visibility was very clear, and I was able to see the sea turtles up close while snorkeling🐢 The Pumpkin Cave was also very good. I enjoyed the thrilling journey to the cave by sea kayak. Inside, it was a mystical and sacred place that we could never have reached on our own, so it was a precious experience‼️ Tecchan, the tour guide, took many photos and videos and explained the history of the place and the marine life in an easy-to-understand way, which was great. Thank you so much, Tecchan😊 I want to come back to Miyako Island again.
今回、ウミガメに会いたくて宮古島に初めて来ました。ウミガメに会えるツアーを探していて、シュノーケリングと、シーカヤック、そしてパンプキン鍾乳洞に行けるこのツアーを見つけて申し込みました。真冬の海に入ってウミガメに会うことなんて出来るのか心配でしたが、ボディースーツを着れば海に入ることが出来て、念願だったウミガメにも会うことが出来てとても嬉しかったです💕ツアーガイドのてっちゃんが素敵な写真を撮影してくれて旅の思い出がたくさん出来ました😊
ツアーに参加した日は、曇り空でしたが海の中はとても綺麗に海の中が見え、シュノーケルの時にウミガメを間近で見ることが出来ました🐢
パンプキン鍾乳洞もとても良かったです。シーカヤックで鍾乳洞に向かうまでドキドキハラハラ楽しみながら行きました。中は、神秘的で神聖な場所で自分たちではとても行ける場所ではないので貴重な経験をしてくることが出来ました‼️
ツアーガイドのてっちゃんが、たくさん写真や動画を撮影して下さり、そして分かりやすくその場所の歴史や海の生き物のことを教えて下さりとても良かったです。てっちゃん、どうもありがとうございました😊また、宮古島の遊びに来たいです。

This time, I participated in SUP and the Pumpkin Cave. I did SUP for about an hour and a half in the morning, and it felt really nice. It was my first time, but the wind wasn't too strong, so it was safe.
Kayaking to the entrance of the Pumpkin Cave was fun. Inside the cave, the staff took a lot of photos for us. Since they provide the photo data later, I didn't need to bring a camera or smartphone, which made it easy to enjoy. The scenery was beautiful, and I used a lot of energy, so I want to go again.
今回はSUP＆パンプキン鍾乳洞に参加しました。午前中に1時間半ほどSUPをしてとても気持ちよかったです。初めてでしたが、風も強すぎなかったので安全でした。

At the end of December, I was worried about the temperature and water temperature, but I was having so much fun that I didn't have time to feel cold!
Snorkeling was like being in an aquarium from the moment I entered the water! I was able to see many beautiful fish, including sea turtles and clownfish. Sea kayaking was my first experience, and it was more stable than I imagined, with a great ride. It was a windy day with slightly high waves, which made it feel like an amusement park attraction. The Pumpkin Cave was breathtaking! I felt a sacred atmosphere and gained a lot of energy from it.

I had an extraordinary experience snorkeling and getting up close to sea turtles and tropical fish, as well as riding in a canoe. The guide who accompanied us was very kind and spoke to me gently, which made me feel safe entering the water, even though I'm not a strong swimmer. We were blessed with great weather and were able to fully enjoy the beautiful sea of Miyako Island. I was so moved to see sea turtles up close for such a long time, something I never expected. I previously participated in PiPi's SUP and had a great time, so I signed up for the activity to see sea turtles as recommended! It was my first time snorkeling, but I enjoyed it without any issues and quickly got to see beautiful fish and coral, which I found mesmerizing. We seemed to have bad luck and couldn't find the sea turtles for a while, but Mashi-san worked hard to find them, and we were able to meet them, which made me very satisfied.
I actually didn't have high expectations for the Pumpkin Cave, but it was more beautiful than I imagined, and I highly recommend it. I also got along well with the other participants and enjoyed the activities in a friendly atmosphere, creating wonderful memories. Both this time and last time, the staff were very kind and approachable, so if I have the opportunity to visit Miyako Island again, I would like to experience other activities as well.

シュノーケリングが初めてだったのですが、問題なく楽しめすぐにきれいな魚やサンゴを見れて夢中になって楽しみました。私たちは運が悪かったらしくなかなかウミガメさんが見つかりませんでしたがまーしさんが一所懸命探してくれて無事会うことができて大満足でした。
パンプキン鍾乳洞は実はあまり期待していなかったのですが、想像以上に美しくおススメです。他の参加の方とも仲良く和気あいあいとアクティビティを楽しめてとってもいい思い出になりました。
前回も今回もスタッフの方がとても親切で気さくなのでまた次回宮古島に行く機会があればほかのアクティビティも体験したいです。

I was a bit concerned about the temperature and water conditions in December, but the staff took great care of the elementary school children, allowing us to enjoy the activities with peace of mind. The Pumpkin Cave was an activity where I could really feel the great outdoors while exploring the cave! The guide who assisted us was friendly and provided thorough explanations, making it truly enjoyable! The SUP was relaxing with the clear and beautiful sea! I already want to go back to Miyako Island and do more activities again.

I booked a kayak and waterfall tour in the morning, followed by a cave exploration tour in the afternoon. The weather was changeable, with light rain, clouds, and finally some sunny intervals.
Paddling through the mangroves on both sides was refreshing. As we approached the waterfall, the sound of the rushing water grew louder, and it was quite powerful up close.
In the afternoon's cave exploration, there was a spot at the entrance where the water was knee-deep, and I couldn't enter without the guide's assistance. I'm grateful for that.
I was able to see tiny, cute bats hanging nearby and felt amazed by the natural formations that took a long time to develop, as explained by the guide. It was a fun tour that offered experiences I wouldn't normally have.

During my first visit to Miyako Island, I was looking for various activities and found this tour.
It was a packed and satisfying tour where we paddled a canoe in the beautiful sea of Miyako Island, explored a limestone cave, and even encountered sea turtles while snorkeling!
Our guide, Shintaro, was very thorough in his explanations and great at keeping the energy up, making for a really enjoyable time. I was thrilled to see sea turtles twice (up close, too)! Thank you for this precious experience.
At first, I was torn between trying the introductory diving or this snorkeling tour, and to be honest, I didn't have high expectations for snorkeling (sorry about that), but in the end, it exceeded my expectations in a good way, and it was the right choice!

I signed up for the Pumpkin Hall and Blue Cave set the day before and received a call right away. Unfortunately, due to sea conditions, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave, so we only did the two-hour Pumpkin Hall (plus sea kayaking) tour.
As a result, I was amazed to discover such a place! And to see such beautiful scenery! I highly recommend this unique experience.
The only inconvenience was that there were no showers or changing rooms, so we had to wipe off the seawater in the parking lot and return to our accommodation in the rental car.
The guide was consistently kind, young, but very reliable. Thank you very much.
パンプキンホールと青の洞窟のセットで前日に申し込み、すぐ電話頂きました。残念ながら青の洞窟は海況の判断で行けないとのことで、2時間程度のパンプキンホール（＋シーカヤック）ツアーのみにしました。

めちゃめちゃオススメしたい、ここならではの体験と思いました。
シャワーや更衣室がないので駐車場で海水を拭いてレンタカーで宿泊先に戻らないといけなかったことだけが不便でした。

First of all, the Pumpkin Cave, with its sacred atmosphere and mysterious vibe that you can't find anywhere else, is fantastic.
Climbing up the Pumpkin Waterfall and seeing the view at that moment was astonishing. It felt like a light adventure and was a lot of fun!
And then, snorkeling.
I couldn't believe I could capture such close-up shots of sea turtles! I've been to various places in Okinawa, both the main island and the remote islands, but it was my first time encountering sea turtles up close!
I highly recommend it for sea turtle lovers.

I was worried after the big typhoon, but the weather was clear and even hot on the day of the tour. I was a bit anxious about whether my 7-year-old son would enjoy snorkeling and kayaking, but thanks to the instructor, we were able to have a safe and fun experience! The beautiful sea and scenery made it a truly precious experience. It was the most fun we had in Miyako Island, and it became a great memory for the kids. It was disappointing that we couldn't go to Pumpkin due to the weather, but snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding were fun! Even beginners could enjoy it! I was glad to see sea turtles up close while snorkeling.

Originally, the plan included the Pumpkin Cave, but due to weather issues, we were informed the day before that it would only be snorkeling. Although canoeing was possible, we decided to change to snorkeling only (of course, the price was adjusted as well).

As soon as we entered the water, it was a bit cold for the first minute, but the seawater that got into the wetsuit quickly warmed up with my body temperature, and I soon forgot about the cold.
The weather was cloudy, but light was streaming underwater, making it incredibly beautiful! (It was mentioned that this was partly because there hadn't been many people in the water recently, right after a series of typhoons.) The young instructor was very attentive, which made me feel at ease. He took photos of us at picturesque spots one by one.
We enjoyed about an hour of snorkeling, taking breaks as needed. I was exhausted afterward, but my satisfaction level was very high for the price. If I come to Miyako Island again, I would love to enjoy snorkeling once more.
元々はパンプキン鍾乳洞も含まれているプランだったんですが、天候の問題でシュノーケリングのみとなる旨前日に連絡があり。カヌーはできるとの事でしたが、今回はシュノーケリングのみに変更していただきました。（もちろん料金も変更）
現地集合後、無料レンタルのウェットスーツやシュノーケルの説明。着用してから5分ほど歩いて目の前の海へ移動。早速海に入ると初めの1分くらいは寒かったですが、ウェットスーツに入り込んだ海水がすぐ体温で暖まり？すぐに寒さは全く気にならなくなりました。
天気は曇りでしたが水中には光が差し込んでおりメチャクチャ綺麗でした！（台風が続いた直後で最近あまり人が入ってなかったことも関係しているとのこと）
インストラクターの若いお兄さんも丁寧に対応してくださり安心でした。写真映えするポイントで順番に写真を撮ってくれました。
1時間程度、適度に休憩を挟みながら楽しめました。終わった後はクタクタでしたが料金に対して満足度がとても高いです。宮古島に来たら、またシュノーケリングを楽しみたいと思います。

Due to the typhoon forecast, I signed up at the last minute and was only able to participate in the turtle snorkeling. I attended with my two boys, who are in 4th and 6th grade, and the staff were great at handling the kids. They shared fun trivia while we played, which made it enjoyable ( ^ω^ ). They also took great photos even in the rough sea 📷⭐︎.

Tetsu, our guide, was amazing at leading us and took fantastic photos, for which I am very grateful. 😊 It was my first time canoeing 🛶 and snorkeling 🤿, but I received great instruction for both! I was looking forward to seeing sea turtles, but the cave tour from the canoe in the morning exceeded my expectations and was very satisfying. 🧐 I enjoyed Miyako Island all at once! Due to the approach of an out-of-season typhoon, the Pumpkin Cave and sea kayaking were canceled, but I was able to participate in the sea turtle snorkeling. I received a cancellation notice via email the day before and also received a phone call, allowing me to book only the sea turtle snorkeling, and the refund process was smooth. On the day of the tour, we departed early to enjoy the experience before the sea conditions worsened. Thanks to that, I was able to experience the beautiful sea in nice weather. The guide explained the beautiful fish and features of the ocean. They diligently searched for sea turtles, and I was able to swim alongside them. There were a few people, including myself, who were not strong swimmers, but the guide was attentive, allowing us to participate in the tour with peace of mind. The enjoyable time flew by, and it was such a wonderful tour that I wished it could have lasted longer. Thank you very much.
季節外れの台風の接近により、パンプキン鍾乳洞＆シーカヤックは中止となりましたが、ウミガメシュノーケリングのみ参加させていただきました。前日にメールで中止のお知らせと電話でも連絡をいただき、ウミガメシュノーケリングのみ予約することができ、返金の対応もスムーズにしていただきました。当日は海の状況が悪化する前に楽しめるよう、早めの出発となりました。お陰でお天気の中キレイな海を体感できました。ガイドさんはキレイな魚達や海の特徴の説明をしてくれました。一生懸命ウミガメを探してくれて、一緒に泳ぐ事ができました。私も含め泳ぎが不得意な人が数名いましたが、適宜気にかけて頂き安心してツアーに参加できました。楽しい時間はあっという間で、もっと長く体験したいと思えるほど素敵なツアーでした。ありがとうございました。

Due to the approaching typhoon, we only managed to participate in canoeing amidst several days of rain and strong winds. The instructor was kind and took many photos at various photo spots. The water was clear, so we could see plenty of fish swimming around. Canoeing requires quite a bit of physical strength, so having men in the group would be beneficial.
It's a shame that we couldn't do the Pumpkin Cave and snorkeling due to the bad weather. Miyako Island's weather can change quickly, and activities are heavily influenced by the weather, so it's best to keep in mind that there is a possibility of sudden cancellations on the day of your reservation. I would like to use this service again when the weather is nice. Thank you very much.
台風の接近により雨天と強風が何日も続く中、カヌーのみ何とか参加。インストラクターさんが親切で沢山フォトスポットで写真を撮ってくださいました。水が綺麗なのでお魚も沢山泳いでいるのが見えました。カヌーは結構体力使うので男性がいると良いと思います。
パンプキン鍾乳洞やシュノーケリングが悪天候のため出来なかったのが残念。宮古島は天気が変わりやすくアクティビティは天候にとても左右されるので、当日に急に中止になる可能性があることを念頭において予約した方が良いです。
天気の良い時にまたここを利用して参加したいです。ありがとうこざいました。
