From the beginning, the guide helped us by considering the pace, constantly sharing various stories while walking. They suggested that I leave my heavy luggage behind partway, and thanks to their various support, I was able to see the Jomon Sugi and reach the goal within the time limit. 最初からペース配分を考えてガイドしていただき、様々な話など歩きながら絶えずしてくれ、荷物が重すぎた私に途中で荷物を置いて行く提案をしてくださり様々なサポートのおかげで無事に縄文杉を拝め、時間内にゴールでき、ガイドさんにとても感謝しております。

We participated as a group of four women. We were worried about our physical stamina, but thanks to the guide's thoughtful care, we were able to enjoy the experience safely and without injury until the end. The scenery during the trekking was, of course, magnificent, but it was also very enjoyable to learn about Yakushima's history and vegetation through quizzes. It was a unique experience that left all of us very satisfied. Thank you very much!

On the first day, the Jomon Sugi was sunny and easy to walk, but on the second day, the Shiratani was hit by heavy rain, making it impossible to return, and we had to turn back in the mossy forest, which was very disappointing. However, I’m glad we managed to return just in time while wading through the river up to our ankles.

I was able to visit Cape Hedo, the northernmost point of Okinawa, which I had always wanted to go to. It was a full-day tour, but I’m glad I participated as it became a wonderful memory. There were tourists from overseas, and sometimes the departure times were delayed, but that too is part of the experience. The seafood lunch featured fresh sashimi as the main dish, and it was delicious. Thank you very much.

The guide's stories were deep and interesting, and I found myself laughing several times during the tour. Even in tough moments, their professional encouragement was a great help!
Trekking to Jomon Sugi was quite challenging, especially since it was almost my first time climbing. I truly believe I wouldn't have been able to achieve it at my own pace or with just a tourist mindset, but thanks to the guide, I was able to reach the destination safely, and I am very grateful for that.
The way there felt like a strict boot camp with all the walking (laughs), but on the way back, we took it a bit slower and even stopped by a river, which allowed us to really enjoy nature.

登山もほとんど初めての中で挑んだ縄文杉トレッキング。

行きはひたすら歩くスパルタな感じでしたが(笑)その分帰りは少しゆっくり、途中川にも立ち寄ったりと自然を感じることもできてよかったです。

The tour guide provided the meeting times at each drop-off location, and the foreign participants adhered to them strictly, allowing us to move according to schedule. The large bus with air conditioning was comfortable, and it also had AC 100V outlets and WiFi available. We were able to cover the highlights of northern Okinawa, which would be quite challenging to do on our own, and we had a fun day. The lunch was delicious as well.

Although it rained heavily during the mountain climbing, I was able to climb comfortably. Rather than having a significant elevation difference, the time spent walking on flat paths was longer than I had imagined. I had planned to climb for two consecutive days, but due to the typhoon, I was able to postpone the second day and climbed after waiting for my legs to recover. If it weren't for the typhoon, I might have canceled the second day. For those considering climbing and planning a longer stay, it seems you can consult about rescheduling the second day's climb to a later date, so I recommend doing that.
登山は大雨が降りましたが、気持ちよく登れました。標高差があるというよりは、平坦な道を歩く時間が想像より長かったです。
２日間連続登山の予定でしたが、台風の影響で２日目を延期することができ足の回復を待ってから、登山できました。台風がなかったら２日目はキャンセルしていたかもしれません。これから登山を考えていて、滞在予定が長い方は相談できるそうなので２日目の登山を後日へずらすことをお勧めします。

The Jomon Sugi course mainly involves walking along the gentle trolley path for about three-quarters of the way, so I believe it wasn't as tough as mountain trails. However, both I and many participants have found the trolley path to be the most mentally challenging part.
The second day's Shiratani Unsuikyo was canceled due to heavy rain, but it was fortunate that you were able to participate thanks to the extended stay.
In recent years, September has been just as hot as summer, with a high incidence of typhoons. Therefore, I recommend visiting from March to May or from late October to December. We sincerely look forward to your next visit to the island.

縄文杉コースは３／４がトロッコ道の緩やかな道を歩くだけですので、山道ほどキツくは無かったと思いますが
私もそうですし、今まで参加したお客様もトロッコ道が一番精神的にきつかったという方が多いです。
２日目の白谷雲水峡は大雨で中止になりましたが、滞在時間が長かったおかげて参加出来て良かったですね。
近年、９月は夏と変わらなく暑くで台風の発生率が高いですので３月から５月もしくは１０月後半から１２月までがお勧めですので
またのご来島心よりお待ちしております。

Due to the cancellation at Uehara Port, I entered Iriomote Island from Ohara Port, and they explained the transportation methods over the phone in advance. Kayaking while explaining about the plants and creatures, as well as trekking through the jungle, was enjoyable.
After the tour, there was a place to change and take a shower. I was also happy that they took several photos during the tour and sent them to me right away. On the way back, instead of being dropped off at the hotel, I was taken to Hoshizuna Beach, which I was able to enjoy as well.
The guide was very kind and interacted well with my children, making my 7 and 9-year-olds feel safe and have fun. When I mentioned that our plans for the next day were canceled due to the approaching typhoon, they recommended ways to spend our time. The wild boar yukhoe I had at the restaurant they suggested for the next evening was very delicious!
Thanks to them, it was a very enjoyable trip. If I have the opportunity to come back to Iriomote Island, I would like to ask for their services again. Thank you!
上原港欠航のために大原港から西表島に入りましたが、移動方法についても事前に電話で説明してくださいました。植物や生き物についての説明をしていただきながらのカヤック、ジャングルのトレッキングも楽しかったです。
ツアー後は着替えやシャワーができる場所がありました。
ツアー中に何度か写真を撮ってくださって、すぐに送っていただけたことも嬉しかったです。
帰りはホテルではなく星砂の浜に送っていただけたので、そちらも楽しむことができました。
ガイドさんはとても優しい方で、子供にも上手に声をかけていただき、7歳と9歳の子供も安心して楽しく過ごせました。台風接近の影響で翌日の予定がなくなり困っていることを伝えると、おすすめの過ごし方を教えてくださいました。翌日の夜に教えていただいたお店で食べたイノシシのユッケはとても美味しかったです！
おかげさまでとても楽しい旅行となりました。
また西表島に来る機会があればお願いしたいと思います。ありがとうございました！

The unique climate of low temperature and high humidity brought beautiful vegetation. The sight of the moss was a landscape unlike any other. It was quite a walk to Jomon Sugi, which was tough, but it was worth it. I felt a mystical aura of nature, and it seemed like my luck improved (laughs).
You walk for a long time on a difficult mountain trail, but the difficulty and the fatigue and muscle pain afterward are at a level tougher than a full marathon. It's not suitable for families with small children.
I'm glad I opted for a guided tour. The advice on how to walk, spots to see, little tips, rest points, and remaining distance and time were all things I wouldn't have known on my own.
低温多湿の独自の気候のもたらすと特徴のある植生が美しかったです。
苔むす様子は他では見られない景色でした。縄文杉まではかなり、歩くのでつらかったですが、行った甲斐がありました。神秘的、自然のオーラを感じられ、運気が上がったように思いましたよ（笑）。
長時間足元の悪い登山道を歩きますが、難易度と後の疲労・筋肉痛はフルマラソンの方が、きついレベルです。小さな子供連れは無理です。
ガイド付きにしてよかったです。歩き方、スポット、小ネタ、休憩ポイント、残り距離・時間等のアドバイスは、単独では分からないことだらけでした。

今回のモンスーンの大久保さんは、参加者の力量を把握し適宜指示、誘導を行なっていました

I usually don't exercise, so I was worried about whether I could finish the hike, but thanks to the guidance on pacing, I was able to see Jomon Sugi safely. I was also happy that they took photos for us, and it was definitely a point that made me feel it was worth hiring a guide to learn about shortcuts that we would never have figured out on our own.
普段運動をしないので、体力完走出来るか不安だったのですが、ペース配分を考えながら案内して頂けたので、無事に縄文杉を見ることが出来ました。
写真を撮っていただけたのも嬉しかったですし、自分たちだけでは絶対にわからないショートカットの道などを教えて頂けたのもガイドを頼んでよかったなと思えるポイントでした。

I had always wanted to visit Yakushima. The guide provided various explanations, which helped me understand the preciousness of the Yakusugi trees even more. I was able to fully enjoy the untouched nature, and I took photos at the photo spots, creating lasting memories.
I rated it three stars because the guide's voice was quiet, and when walking in a line, I could only hear him up to about the second person. I also felt that the pace of the breaks was somewhat guided by him. However, I believe I was able to complete the round trip of 22 km without anxiety thanks to the guide, so overall, I am satisfied!
ずっと行ってみたかった屋久島。
ガイドさんにいろんな説明をしていただいて、より屋久杉の貴重さがわかりました。手付かずの大自然を満喫できて、フォトスポットでは写真を撮っていただけて、思い出に残りました。
星3にしたのは、ガイドさんの声が小さく一列で歩いていると2番目くらいまでしか聞こえなかったり、なんとなく休憩のペースがガイドさん主体だったな〜と感じたからです。

There are few trekking tours that cover Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day, so I was really happy to find this tour. Since there were multiple destinations, I never felt burdened by the walking, and with each stop, I was filled with a sense of accomplishment. Our guide, Tsugimura, shared various stories in a fun way, which allowed us to enjoy trekking together. Thanks to the guide, we were able to manage our pace, and we completed the tour almost as planned. I do have some muscle soreness, but more than that, I am filled with satisfaction from what I accomplished. Thank you very much!
縄文杉+白谷雲水峡を1日で行うトレッキングツアーが少なく、このツアーを見つけた時は、本当にうれしかったです。
目的地が何個もあったので、歩くことが苦に感じることはなく、次へ次へと１つ行けるごとに達成感でいっぱいでした。

独立して初めての1日で縄文杉と白谷を歩くツアーでしたので、私自身不安でしたが、登山口出発から三人の人柄と事前に聞いていた「気合と根性はあります」という

I was a beginner at mountain climbing, but somehow I was able to return safely. When I finally reached Jomon Sugi and the moment I descended, I was filled with a sense of accomplishment. I truly felt that climbing and descending on my own feet is what mountain climbing is all about.
Although it wasn't listed among my gear, I think trekking poles are necessary. The descent was quite tough without them.
登山初心者でしたが、なんとか無事に帰ってくることができました。縄文杉に辿り着いたときと最後下山できた瞬間は、達成感に溢れました。きちんと自分の足で、登って降りてくるまでが登山…と身をもって感じました。

This was my third visit to Okinawa. I have been to tourist spots like Shuri Castle, Churaumi Aquarium, Manzamo, Nago Pineapple Park, Okinawa World, and the Valley of Gandhara, but this time I signed up for a tour to the northern part, which is difficult to access on my own. There were six participants, and during our walk in the Yanbaru Forest, all six of us ended up exploring the forest together without realizing it. Cape Hedo offered stunning scenery with its sheer cliffs, emerald green sea, and distant islands. The tour guide was fluent in English (of course, also in Japanese) and was kind and personable in every way. Although the tour felt a bit pricey, I thought it was worth it, especially with the delicious lunch included.

辺戸岬は、断崖絶壁、エメラルドグリーンの海、遠くの島々、とても素晴らしい風景でした。
添乗員の方は、流暢な英語（勿論、日本語も）で、全ての事に親切で好感を持てました。
少々、割高な印象のツアーでしたが、美味しいランチも付いて、参加して良かったと思いました。

- Since the return time is set, we need to keep a fast pace while walking. Because of this, it’s not an atmosphere where you can leisurely enjoy nature. While there are explanations at various points listed in the guidebook, basically, we walk in silence. When fatigue peaks, it becomes mentally tough, and while walking, I start to ponder about life, making it truly a training experience. However, being able to see the Jomon Sugi, which I have always longed to see, brings an incredible sense of accomplishment. It feels like it will become a lifelong memory.
- The tour company contacts you in advance regarding rental items and what to bring. I think it would be easier for the company to handle it via email, but I was surprised by their very polite response.
- The satisfaction on the day depends on the guide. The guide assigned to us was friendly.
・帰りの時間が決まっているため、早いペースで歩き続ける必要があります。このため、ゆっくり自然をみながら楽しむ雰囲気ではありません。随所でガイドブックに掲載されているポイントなどは説明してもらえますが、基本的には黙々と歩きます。疲労がピークのときにはメンタルもきつく、歩きながら、人生とは何かについて考え出してしまい、まさしく修行でした。
ただ、ずっと憧れていた縄文杉をみられ、達成感は半端ないです。一生の思い出になりそうです。
・ツアー会社から事前にレンタル品や持ち物などの電話連絡をいただけます。会社としてはメールで済ませた方が楽かと思うのですが、たいへん丁寧な対応で驚きました。
・当日の満足度はガイドさんによると思います。担当のガイドさんは親しみやすかったです。

I visited during Obon. I was prepared for a lot of people, but aside from the area around Kappa Bridge, it wasn't as crowded as I expected, and I was able to enjoy it leisurely. Also, I originally planned to go by car, but I changed to participating in a tour. Looking at the line for the bus to Sawando Parking Lot on the way back, I was glad I chose the tour!

Since it was a busy time during Obon, the bus terminal was crowded with people waiting for buses and taxis, and I was glad I had booked the tour. We only had 3 hours of free time and managed to cover only half of the walking course, so I thought it would have been nice to have an additional 2 to 3 hours.
お盆の混んでいる時期だったので、帰りはバスターミナルがバスやタクシーを待つ人でごった返しており、ツアーを予約していてよかったと思いました。フリーが3時間と、散策コースの半分しか回らなかったのであと2〜3時間あるとよかったなと思います。

I never expected to see flying flying squirrels four times! I participated hoping to see at least once, and the result exceeded my expectations.
On the round trip from the cable car station to the flying squirrel observation point, I encountered various insects, including the light green giant silk moth, stag beetles, stick insects, and horse cicadas. I even came across the rare thorn stick insect.
On the way back, I also heard the calls of the flying squirrels. It was a tour filled with very enjoyable nature experiences. The night view from Yakoin was beautiful as well.
After the experience, they also sent me photos and videos taken with a night vision scope. There were cute stickers and a can badge as gifts, making for great memories.

ムササビが飛ぶところを4回も見ることが出来るとは、思ってませんでした。1回でも見ることが出来ればと思って参加。結果は、期待以上の回数を見ることが出来ました。
ケーブルカーの下車駅からムササビ観察ポイントの往復の道すがらでは、さまざまな昆虫にも出会いました。薄いミドリのオオミズアオ、コクワガタ、ナナフシ、ウマオイ、などなど。珍しいトゲナナフシにも出会いました。
帰り道では、ムササビの鳴き声も聞きました。
とても楽しい自然体験が満載ツアーでした。
薬王院から見た夜景もキレイでした。
体験後、暗視スコープで撮影した写真と動画も送ってくださいました。
かわいいステッカーと缶バッジのプレゼントもあり、いい思い出になりました。

The round trip takes about three and a half hours (with a 15-minute break at the parking area), and you can decide whether to get off at Taisho Pond or the Kamikochi Bus Terminal. The stay in Kamikochi is three and a half hours. The restaurants around Kappa Bridge can get crowded, so if you're walking from Taisho Pond, it's better to arrive early to enjoy the area. The wait for places like soft serve ice cream shops was about 20 minutes. The turnover rate at the souvenir shop's register is quick. The accompanying guide was from China but could also communicate in Japanese. Some people were late to the meeting time, but the guide contacted us and was about 10 minutes late as well. The tour schedule was 8:20 AM departure from Nagoya Station, arriving at Kamikochi at 11:45 AM, then departing Kamikochi at 3:25 PM and arriving back at Nagoya Station at 6:50 PM, which I think allows for a good amount of enjoyment within the tour time. Depending on traffic, this was the schedule at the end of August. It was a very cool place with beautiful scenery, and the water was cold and incredibly clear. I had a great time even on a day trip. However, going back and forth to Myojin Pond might be a bit tight.
行き帰り共に道のりは3時間半（パーキングで15分休憩あり）ほどで、大正池か上高地バスターミナルで降りるところを決められます。上高地の滞在時間は3時間半です。河童橋周辺の飲食店は混みますので大正池から歩く場合、早めに到着するようにした方が散策できると思います。ソフトクリーム等の飲食店は20分待ちくらいでした。お土産屋さんのレジの回転率は早いです。付き添いのガイドさんは中国の方でしたが、日本語でも対応可能でした。集合時間に遅れてくる方もいらっしゃいましたが、ガイドさんも連絡して10分ほど遅れましたが、8:20名古屋駅発11:45上高地着、15:25上高地発18:50名古屋駅着でツアーの時間内で楽しめると思います。交通量にもよりますが、8月末でこのスケジュールでした。とても涼しいところで、景色も綺麗です、水も冷たく透明度がすごかったです。日帰りでも充分楽しめました。明神池を往復するのはぎりぎりすぎるかもです。

I had a veteran guide who showed me points that I definitely wouldn't have noticed if I were exploring on my own, such as bear claw marks, traces of ptarmigan eggs, and holes left by bears after eating hornet nests. The guide was also very knowledgeable about plants and the history of the land, making the three hours feel very short! I definitely want to come back to Shiretoko.

We participated as a couple in our forties with our daughters, who are in sixth and second grade. By chance, we were the only participants, so it turned into a private tour.
Due to last year's typhoon, we had to take a detour route, which included quite a steep ascent. Although it's labeled as an easy course, it can be quite challenging for beginners.
The guide adjusted the pace while keeping an eye on the children, and we were able to complete the round trip in four hours with regular breaks.
The deep greens, the way the light fell, the size of the trees, new life, the coldness of the stream water, and the sounds of the birds were all beyond what could be captured in photos.
It was truly a valuable experience. Thank you very much.

去年の台風で迂回路コースになり、けっこう急な登りが続きます。初級コースになっていますが、初心者にとっては、なかなかハードです。
ガイドさんが子どもの様子を見ながらペース調整してくれて、こまめに休憩をはさみながら、往復４時かけて歩き切ることができました。
深い緑の色や光の当たり方、木々の大きさや新しい生命、沢の水の冷たさ、鳥の鳴き声など、写真にはおさまりきれません。
本当に貴重な体験ができました。ありがとうございました。

It was just a walk in the forest, but the guide explained various things, which made it enjoyable without getting bored. If I had to say something, it would have been nice to have the chance to see some animals like bears (of course, from a distance). That's just a matter of luck, so I'll save that for next time.
森の中を歩くだけではありますがガイドさんが色々なことを説明してくれたこともあり飽きずに楽しめました。強いて言えばクマなど何かしらの動物を見られる機会があったら良かったですが(もちろん遠くからながめるぐらいの距離感で、です)そこは運なので次の機会に取っておきたいと思います。
