Everything was wonderful.
Due to work commitments and flight delays, our reservation times changed multiple times, but the staff kindly suggested alternative dates without any complaints, which was a great help.
Not only did they teach us, who are beginners in SAP, from scratch with great care, but they also adapted their support and flexibility according to the participants' comfort levels, showcasing their professionalism in marine sports.
During the SAP session, we were able to take an incredible number of photos and videos with drones and smartphones, and perhaps because there were fewer participants that day, we even received a video with background music as a complimentary service.
The staff were bright and friendly from start to finish. It was impressive that they waved goodbye until we were out of sight, and they also offered advice on nearby restaurants.
For us, who are busy with work and find it hard to take time off, this was the perfect experience. It has also given us a reason to want to visit Miyako Island again.

仕事の都合、フライトの遅延で予約時間の変更が二転三転してしまいましたが、悪態ひとつなく快く別日時をご提案くださり助かりました。
また、SAP初心者の私たちに対してイチから丁寧に教えて頂けただけでなく、参加者の慣れに応じて自由度や手助けを臨機応変にされていてマリンスポーツのプロフェッショナルさを感じました。
SAP中はドローンやスマホで凄い数の写真と動画を撮影いただけますし、当日の参加者が少なかったことが理由かもしれませんがサービスでBGM付の動画までいただけました。
スタッフの皆さまは最初から最後まで明るくフレンドリーです。私たちが見えなくなるまで手を振ってくださっていたのが印象的ですし、近くのご飯屋さんも相談に乗ってくださります。
仕事が多忙でなかなかゆっくりと時間を取れない私たちにとって最高の時間になりました。
また、宮古島へ訪れたいキッカケの1つです。

In the morning, I went to Yufu Island, and in the afternoon, I went canoeing on the Urauchi River. I participated alone, but everyone else was very kind, and they helped me a lot during the canoeing. I got stuck in shallow water and struggled to move forward due to strong winds, but our guide, Macchan (Matsushita-san), supported me the whole time. In the end, he even got into my canoe, and together we paddled back safely.
There were various participants, including solo travelers, parent-child pairs, couples, and foreigners, and it created a sense of teamwork that made it a lot of fun.

1人参加、親子、夫婦、外国の方など様々いましたが、チームワークみたいなものが生まれて楽しかったです。

If you're going to Iriomote Island, you can't miss the mangroves, so I joined this one-day tour with the intention of kayaking. I was excited even before participating, and it turned out to be an incredibly satisfying experience, just as I had hoped! 🌟
It was my first time kayaking, but our guide, Macchan, was absolutely wonderful!
His explanations were very easy to understand, and he was friendly and attentive throughout. I felt safe and enjoyed myself. ☺️
Paddling through the mangrove tunnel was calm and pleasant, and the scenery was truly beautiful.
However, it was a windy day, and I did use some energy while paddling through the tributaries. (Some women might find it a bit challenging on their own.)

This time, I was taken care of by Matt-chan during the tour. While traveling by car, I was able to hear various stories about the history and nature of Iriomote Island, which deepened my understanding and allowed me to enjoy the sightseeing even more.
In the morning, we went to Yubu Island. We traveled back and forth by water buffalo. I learned that water buffalo hardly sweat, so there was no animal smell at all. They were smart, gentle, and incredibly cute. They were cuter than I expected, and I ended up buying a lot of water buffalo goods at the souvenir shop on Yubu Island.
For lunch, we ate at a restaurant recommended by Matt-chan, and in the afternoon, we enjoyed a mangrove canoeing experience. They took tour photos with the mangroves as the backdrop. The canoe did get my backside wet, but I was able to take a shower afterward. Since it was winter, the water was a bit cold, but wearing a long-sleeve shirt kept me warm even with the wind. Surrounded by the wide river filled with mangroves, I felt the pleasant breeze and negative ions, allowing me to fully enjoy the great outdoors. It was the best experience!
今回、担当のまっちゃんさんにツアーでお世話になりました。車の移動中には西表島の歴史や自然についてのお話をいろいろ聞けて、理解が深まりより西表島観光を楽しむことがでしました。
午前は由布島へ。水牛で往復しました。水牛は汗をほぼかかないそうで、全く獣臭がなくて賢くて穏やかでとっても可愛かったです。
思っていたより可愛すぎて、由布島のお土産屋さんで沢山水牛グッズを買ってしてしまいました。
お昼には、まっちゃんさんおすすめのご飯屋さんで昼食をとり、午後からはマングローブカヌーを楽しみました。
マングローブを背景にツアー写真を撮ってくださいました。カヌーはお尻がぬれますが、最後にシャワーを浴びれました。冬なので少し水は冷たいですが、長袖を1枚着ていれば風が吹いても寒くなかったです。
マングローブに囲まれた広い川の真ん中で心地よい風やマイナスイオンを感じ、大自然を満喫できました。最高でした。

I participated in the SUP + snorkeling experience tour. I learned SUP from Hiro, who speaks in a lively Kansai dialect. He kindly taught me how to paddle and gave me tips, so once I got the hang of it, I was able to paddle freely and had a lot of fun!
We were blessed with great weather, and they took many photos, which made me very satisfied!

This time, I participated in a tour for SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) and sea turtle snorkeling! The tour guide, Hiro, explained everything in a very friendly and easy-to-understand manner, so I was able to get on the board right away, even as a beginner! It was my first time in a clear kayak, and during the confirmation call the day before, I was kindly given answers to my questions, which made me really excited to participate. On the day of the event, the staff took photos and videos using drones and smartphones, allowing me to fully enjoy kayaking. After we finished, they shared the footage with us and even created a highlight video using those photos and videos, which turned out to be a wonderful memory. It was amazing!

I stayed on Iriomote Island and wanted to experience mangrove canoeing in the great outdoors, so I made a reservation. The weather on the day was cloudy with strong winds, but the guide said it actually added to the sense of adventure, and it turned out to be a truly memorable and intense canoeing experience (laughs).
In addition to canoeing, I also got to experience jungle trekking, which was a lot of fun! The guide was cheerful and explained the rare plants and natural monuments in detail, allowing us to have a fulfilling time. They also took plenty of photos for us!
Due to the bad weather, I appreciated that they allowed for same-day cancellations considering the ferry operation status. I personally felt that this kind of response showed they were very reliable.

I was amazed to see sea turtles and a variety of tropical fish just a short distance from the beach (though I don't have any photos...). The area is relatively shallow, so the fish are quite close, making it feel like you're swimming in a large aquarium. It's a tour that you can easily enjoy right by the beach without having to venture out into the open ocean.
However, there weren't any photos of the many beautiful fish in the data I received, so I wish they had taken pictures of other fish besides just the sea turtles and clownfish. That way, I could have shared the beauty of this beach with my friends.
The canoeing in the afternoon was perfect for leisurely enjoying the sparkling water and the beautiful Miyako Blue. If you want to enjoy the scenery, I personally recommend canoeing over stand-up paddleboarding, as it allows you to explore further.

ただ、沢山の美しい魚の写真は送られてきたデータには一枚もなかったので、ウミガメとクマノミだけでなく、他の魚も撮っていただければ、こちらのビーチの美しさを友人たちにも伝えることができたなあと思います。
昼からのカヌーは、キラキラ輝く水面、宮古ブルーをのんびり楽しむには最適。景色を楽しみたい方は、サップよりぐるっと遠くまで探検できるカヌーが個人的にはおすすめです。

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time and booked a tour to go to Yubu Island by kayak and water buffalo. In the morning, I experienced kayaking and explored the mangrove forest for about an hour. I really felt the beauty of nature. The staff were very kind and explained everything well, making it a lot of fun! After that, we took a lunch break and then it was time to go to Yubu Island by water buffalo cart! We arrived at the island in about 10 minutes and enjoyed about an hour on Yubu Island. The gelato from a shop called Yubu Island Chaya was incredibly delicious! The island banana flavor is the top recommendation.

I was taken to the mangroves of Urauchi River. It was my first time canoeing, and it was really fun. The scenery was surrounded by nature, and the mangroves were very beautiful. Walking through the mangrove forest made me feel like I was in a Studio Ghibli film. The guide took a lot of photos and provided plenty of explanations. I'm glad I was able to participate on a nice day. It was such an enjoyable experience that I would love to join again.

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time. The kayaking experience surrounded by the magnificent mangrove nature was unforgettable, and the air was so fresh. My companions and the instructor were very warm and made the experience truly enjoyable!!! After kayaking, I had goya champuru at Gen Shokudo. It was very soothing for my tired body. The water buffaloes were so cute and provided a relaxing time. It's only about a 50-minute trip from Ishigaki Island, so I highly recommend it!

I originally booked a plan that included a mangrove canoe, snorkeling, and Yubu Island, but I was informed the day before that snorkeling was not possible due to bad weather and that I could change to a plan that included canyoning. I knew that snorkeling might be difficult during this season, so I decided to stick with the canoe and Yubu Island (the plan including Yubu Island was a bit cheaper).
On the day of the trip, the Uehara route was canceled, so I appreciated the detailed instructions on the alternative route. In my case, there was transportation not only to Ohara Port but also to Uehara Port on the way back.
Both the canoeing and Yubu Island met my expectations! The canoe route changes depending on the conditions, but it was wider than I thought. If we could have gone down the narrower route that the other team took, it might have felt more adventurous and fun!
Yubu Island is small, but surprisingly has a lot to see, so I found myself running out of time after leisurely enjoying some gelato. The squid ink yakisoba and fried rice for lunch that you recommended were delicious!

元々マングローブカヌー＋シュノーケル＋由布島のプランを予約していましたが、前日に天候不良のためシュノーケルが不可であること、キャニオニングを含むプランへの変更が可能であることのご連絡をいただきました。元々時期的にシュノーケリングは難しい可能性が高いとはわかっていたのでそのままカヌー＋由布島にしました(由布島を含むプランだと少し安くなります)
当日は上原航路が欠航だったので、代替ルートを丁寧に教えていただき助かりました。私の時は帰りは大原港だけではなく上原港への送迎もありました。
カヌーも由布島も期待通りでした！
カヌーは荒れ具合によってルートが変わるようですが、思ったより広いルートだったのでもう一つのチームが進んでいた細いルートに行けたらもっと冒険感があって楽しかったかも…！
由布島は小さい島ですが意外と見所あるので、ジェラートを食べてゆっくりすると結構時間ギリギリでした
教えていただいたランチのいかすみ焼きそば、チャーハンも美味しかったです！

During the contact the day before, I was told that due to bad weather, we wouldn't be able to land on Barasu Island, which made me feel disappointed as I thought our plans would be canceled. However, they provided an alternative plan, and I was able to enjoy the day without any issues!
We started with a tour of Yufu Island. We were picked up by bus from the port, and the staff smoothly guided us to the water buffalo cart, allowing us to board right away. We walked around the island, and even after taking our time to go all the way around, we still had plenty of time left.
After returning to the port, we had a lunch break. There weren't many shops open, and before I knew it, everyone was at the same restaurant, which was quite funny! We had enough time to enjoy our lunch.
In the afternoon, the canoeing was enjoyable and not difficult at all, even for beginners and women. However, it might be a bit lacking for those who prefer a more intense experience. Along the way, we were taken to a small waterfall-like spot where we were able to take photos.
They also took pictures of us while we were paddling and of the scenery, which they later sent to us, making for a nice keepsake that I was really happy about. Thank you very much! I would love to participate again! Next time, I would like to visit Barasu Island.

はじめに由布島観光を行いました。
港からバスで送迎してもらい、水牛車乗車まで係の方がスムーズに案内をしてくださり、すぐに乗車でき渡れました。
島内は歩いて回りましたが、ゆっくりぐるっと一周しても時間に余裕がありました。
港に戻りお昼休憩、あまりお店が開店しておらず、気づいたら皆さん同じお店に居ました笑ランチを楽しむには充分な時間がありました。
午後からのカヌーは初心者や女性でも難なく楽しめ難しくなかったです。ただがっつり派には物足りないかも？
途中歩いてちょっとした滝みたいなところにも連れて行ってもらい、写真も撮影していただきました。
漕いでるところや風景も撮影してもらえ、後ほど送ってくださり、記念にもなり嬉しかったです。

I booked a tour on January 4th after the New Year. I think there were about 20 other guests accompanying me. The guides were all young men, and they were very kind. Even if it's your first time canoeing, it's easy, so I don't think you need to worry. If you're slow at paddling, the guide will wait for you! The view of crossing the sea to Yubu Island was more beautiful than I imagined, and the water buffalo were cute and soothing. I was able to see the large pond where the water buffalo live up close! The ice cream at Yubu Island Tea House is exquisite. You can enjoy tea while looking at the beach. However, since it's a tour, there might be a line due to overlapping timings with other guests, so I recommend going to line up as soon as you arrive on the island.

It had been a long time since I went snorkeling, but I received very thorough instructions. I thought snorkeling would involve going by boat to a beautiful spot, but as expected in Miyako Island, I was able to see incredibly beautiful waters even while swimming out from the shore. I was able to take many photos of the stunning sea, which became wonderful memories. I also got a lot of pictures of myself and the marine life. I was worried it might be cold in January, but experiencing the clarity of the water from within was a fantastic experience, and I'm glad I did it. It was chilly before and after entering the water, but they provided warm water for us. I was also grateful that they shared the photos the next day. Luckily, I encountered a sea turtle and got some great pictures, which made me very satisfied. I would definitely like to request this again when I visit Miyako Island.
シュノーケリングはとても久しぶりでしたが、とても丁寧にレクチャーしていただきました。
シュノーケリングって船で綺麗なところまで行くのかなと思っていましたが、さすがの宮古島で沖から泳いでいってもとっても綺麗な海を見ることができました。
その綺麗な海の写真もたくさん撮ってもらえてとてもいい思い出になりました。
自分が写っているものや海の生物だけの写真もたくさん撮ってもらえました。
一月は寒いかなと思ってましたが、この海の透明度を海の中から見れるのはとてもいい体験で、やって良かったなと思います。
海に入る前後は寒いですが、暖かいお湯を用意してくださってます。
次の日には写真を共有していただけたのもありがたかったです。
運良く、ウミガメにも遭遇できて写真を撮ってもらえて大満足です。

I visited Ishigaki Island during the three-day weekend in January. I jumped on a bus departing from Ishigaki Airport at 1 PM and joined a tour, where I had a wonderful time throughout.
On that day, the wind was strong, and we couldn't enter the sea on the Blue Cave side, so we went snorkeling at a beach about a five-minute drive from Ishigaki Port.
Following the guide's instructions, I put on a wetsuit and entered the sea. At first, it felt cold, but I gradually got used to it and was able to find beautiful coral reefs and schools of small fish. Along the way, I also spotted a fish called Irabucha, which the guide mentioned is delicious to eat. They even recommended a restaurant where I could try it, and I was impressed by how friendly and approachable they were.

1月の3連休に石垣島を訪ねました。
石垣空港から13時発のバスに飛び乗り、ツアーに参加しましたが、終始楽しい時間を過ごせました。
当日は風が強く、青の洞窟側の海に入れないとのことで石垣港から送迎車で5分程の場所にある海岸でのシュノーケリングになりました。
ガイドさんの指示に従い、ウェットスーツを着ていざ海に入ったところ、最初は冷たく感じましたが徐々に慣れてきて、素敵な珊瑚礁や小魚の群れを見つけることができました。
途中、イラブチャーというお魚も見つけ、ガイドさん曰く美味しく食べられるとのこと。そちらがいただけるおすすめのお店も紹介してもらえたりと、とても気さくに話してくださったことも印象に残っております。

The canoe experience on the Urunai River was amazing, with very clear water. I learned from our guide, Matsushita (nicknamed Macchan), that the area near the river mouth is brackish water, and that the mangroves differ between the riverbanks and the sandbars. The weather was also perfect that day, with gentle winds, making it a wonderful experience.
After lunch, we took a water buffalo cart to Yufu Island. I heard from the water buffalo cart guide that after a natural disaster made the area uninhabitable, an elderly man planted the vegetation that became the foundation of the current botanical garden. It was surprising to see so many flowers blooming in January, and I was lucky enough to capture a photo of a butterfly coming to sip nectar.
During the ride to and from Yufu Island, in addition to explanations about the water buffalo, we were treated to songs played on the sanshin, which made for some great memories. I want to thank Macchan for taking care of us during the bus rides, canoeing, and the trip to Yufu Island. I also appreciate Shogo, who guided us on the bus, and everyone who helped with the preparations, as well as the water buffalo cart guides. Thank you very much!

マングローブも河岸と中洲で種類が違うとガイドの松下さん（通称まっちゃん）が教えてくださったり、またこの日は天気も良く、風もさほど強くない穏やかな日で最高でした。
昼食後は水牛の観光車で由布島へ。
自然災害で人が住めなくなった後、お爺さん1人で植物を植え、今の植物園の礎を作ったと水牛車のガイドさんからお話をお聞きしました。1月と思えない程のたくさんの花々が咲いており、ちょうど蝶々が蜜を吸いにやって来たところを運良く写真に収める事ができました。
行き帰りの水牛車では、水牛の説明の他、三線で歌を披露していただいたり、とても良い思い出となりました。
バスの移動時の運転から、カヌー引率、由布島までの移動等、まっちゃんにはお世話になりました。
また、バスでガイドをしてくれたショウゴさんや、準備をしてくださった方々、水牛車ガイド方々にもお世話になりました。

Thanks to the fun guidance of staff member Sugimori, we were able to fully enjoy the great nature of the mangroves at Miyara River in Ishigaki Island. The instructor (Macchan) was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about animals and plants. Not only during the canoeing time but also on the bus, we had great conversations, making for a very enjoyable experience!
We took many photos together, and at the end, they sent them to us. Since it's often hard to get pictures of both of us together when we participate as a pair, I was really happy to receive them♪
It seems there are other experiences available as well, so I definitely want to participate again next time!

I was feeling disappointed after my reservation was canceled the day before due to strong winds with another company, but I found this place and made a reservation on a whim. They welcomed me warmly. Since the location is in a bay, the winds were calm, and I was able to enjoy myself without any issues! I was also nervous because it was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but they kindly taught me, which made me feel at ease during the experience! It became a wonderful memory. I paddled a canoe for the first time in a place rich in nature. The guides were all friendly and shared various stories with us, even providing detailed explanations about the mangroves! I can only describe them as truly kind.
I also got along well with the other participants, and in the afternoon at Yufu Island, we spent time together and had many conversations, experiencing the wonderful connections that travel brings.
Including the guides and all the participants, everyone was incredibly kind, and I was reminded of the importance and goodness of human connections. It was the best vacation! Thank you!
