Canoeing was fun. カヌー楽しかった

We chose to go canoeing with two adults, a middle school student, and an elementary school student. We proceeded with two two-person canoes. Since the water level was high, we were able to paddle deep into the mangrove forest, which was a lot of fun. It seems that when the water level is low, you can get out of the canoe and walk. Our time on Yubu Island flew by as we strolled and enjoyed gelato.
大人2名と中学生、小学生でカヌーを選択。
2人乗りを2艇で進みました。
水位が高いタイミングだったため、マングローブ林の奥までカヌーで進むことができ、とても楽しかったです。水位が低い時は、カヌーを降りて歩けるらしい。
由布島は散歩してジェラート食べてたら、あっという間でした。
ガッツリ濡れるので水着で。
予期せぬ枝との接触あるので帽子も必須です。

I was a bit anxious with around 100 people at the meeting point, but each tour had a conductor, and we were lucky enough to have Naoto as our dedicated guide for our group of two! My first canyoning experience was filled with natural water slides, rock climbing, and jumping, and I felt like a kid again, having so much fun.
集合場所に100名程いて不安でしたが、ツアーごとにコンダクターがついてくださり、我々は幸運にも1組（2人）でなおとくんが専任で案内してくれました！初めてのキャニオニングは自然のウォータースライダーやロッククライミング、ジャンプなど子供の頃のようにはしゃいでました。
Unlike the ocean, the river water was not sticky, and I was able to enjoy my time comfortably! I would like to participate in the canyoning tour again next time!

We participated in our first stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience and sea turtle snorkeling as a family of five on Miyako Island. It was our first time doing SUP, but the staff were very cheerful and kind, which made us feel safe and glad we participated. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles while snorkeling, but a funny guy from Kansai with a wonderful smile worked hard to take pictures with Nemo, and we are grateful for the lovely memories captured in those photos. Thank you!
初めての宮古島で家族5人で初sup体験とウミガメシュノーケリングに参加しました。初めてのsupでしたがスタッフ方がとても明るく親切で安心して体験する事ができ、参加して良かったです。シュノーケリングは残念ながらウミガメには会えませんでしたが、笑顔が素敵な関西人の面白いお兄さんが一生懸命にニモと撮影して頂き、素敵な思い出の写真も感謝です。ありがとうございます。

I made a last-minute reservation for a canoe at Kabira Bay, and I was moved by its beauty beyond my imagination.
On the day of the trip, the weather was clear after the typhoon, and there were few people, which were great conditions. The other members of the group were friendly, and thanks to our cheerful and energetic guide, Yuuki, we were able to enjoy a wonderful time together.
Actually, even though my reservation was confirmed the night before, I received a call that it was fully booked for the morning and would be in the afternoon instead. There were also some misunderstandings about the meeting place, and I was feeling discouraged due to the high-pressure attitude of the phone receptionist. However, thanks to Yuuki and Kabira Bay, those feelings were blown away. Thank you! The night jungle tour was also fun, and I was able to enjoy a starry sky that felt like it was raining down.
I look forward to visiting Ishigaki Island again!
前夜に思い立って予約した川平湾のカヌー。想像以上の美しさに感動しました。
当日は台風後の晴れ、人も少ないという好条件。同じグループの人たちも穏やかで、元気で人懐っこい道産子ガイドのゆうきさんのおかげで和気あいあいと、贅沢な時間を楽しむことができました。
実は、前夜に予約確定してたのに当日の朝に満員だから午後にという連絡をもらい、その後も集合場所の勘違いなどがあり、高圧的な電話受付の方にテンションが下がって行きたくなくなっていたのですが、、、
ゆうきさんと川平湾のおかげで、そんな気持ちも吹き飛びました。ありがとう！夜のジャングルナイトツアーも楽しくて降ってくるような星空を満喫できましたよ。
また石垣島に行ったらよろしくお願いします！

We had a clear kayak experience with our two sons, aged 2 and 4, as a family of four. The instructor was dedicated and taught us patiently, allowing everything to go smoothly! When we got stuck on some coral, they quickly provided assistance. Kayaking in such a beautiful sea was wonderful, but I was also surprised by the many other highlights we encountered. The instructor provided detailed explanations for each sight and guided us to points where the kids could see well, making me feel grateful that we chose this shop.
My 4-year-old, who is usually a shy boy, seemed captivated by the instructor's extensive knowledge and quickly warmed up to him, happily sharing the creatures he found. It made me very happy as a parent to see him smiling more than usual during the experience. After kayaking, we had a little extra time, and the instructor suggested to the kids, "Let's go see the fish over there," which made our time after the experience meaningful. I truly felt that this was a wonderful and warm place.
At a moment when the heat and fatigue might have made the kids cranky, they kindly offered them juice, which really helped us start off on a good note. Since they were able to proceed at the kids' pace without worrying about others, I’m glad we chose the private plan. I would love to come back to this shop again next time!

一つ一つ詳しく解説をして下さったり、子どもたちが上手く見える様なポイントに誘導して下さったり、全ての対応が丁寧で、こちらのお店にお願いして良かったなと思いました☺️🫧
4歳の子どもは控えめboyですが、インストラクターのお兄さんの豊富な知識に魅了されたのか、すぐお兄さんに懐き、自分が見つけた生き物を嬉しそうに共有していました。いつも以上に笑顔で体験できていたことが、親として、とても嬉しかったです🥰
カヤックから戻って少し時間が余っていたところ、インストラクターのお姉さんが、「向こうに魚がいるから見に行こう」と子どもたちに声を掛けて下さり、体験後も有意義に過ごせました。本当に素敵で温かいお店だなと感じました☺️
暑さと疲れで グジグジしそうなタイミングで 子どもたちにジュースのプレゼントをしてくださり、ご機嫌で始められたことも非常に助かりました✨
他の方に気も遣わず、子どもたちのペースで進めていただけたので、貸切プランにして良かったです😊

A hat and rash guard are essential! If your legs are exposed, I think it's better to cover them with a towel to avoid direct sunlight and make your time more comfortable!

I wanted to go to the Blue Cave, so I signed up for this tour, but for the past three weeks, due to issues with the waves and tide levels, we couldn't go, and it was changed to snorkeling at Shigira Beach.
It was disappointing, but the changed location of Shigira Beach had perfect facilities like the sea, food, and restrooms. Even after the typhoon, the water clarity was high, and it truly felt like a natural aquarium! The kids were also very satisfied. I'll save the Blue Cave for another opportunity.
After that, we moved to a different spot for my first experience with SUP, and the instructors were kind and warm, making it a lot of fun! Even after the tour ended and we parted ways, they kindly helped me with my private plans for the following days, and I plan to follow their advice tomorrow. Thank you, Kyoppi!
Also, one of the other instructors was from the same hometown, and we had a great time chatting about local niche topics. I hope you can reconcile with your dad soon (laughs).

青の洞窟に行きたくて、このツアーに申し込んだのですが、ここ3週間ほど波と潮位の問題で行けてないとのことで、シギラビーチのシュノーケリングに変更となりました。
残念でしたが、変更となったシギラビーチは海、食事、トイレなど設備が完璧に整ったビーチで、台風のあとでも海の透明度が高く、本当に自然の水族館のようでした！子どもたちも大満足でした。青の洞窟はまた次の機会に置いておきます。
その後、場所を少し移動してSUPの初体験をしたのですが、インストラクターの方々が親切で温かく、とても楽しめました！ツアーが終わって別れたあとも、翌日以降のプライベートの予定について親身に相談にのっていただき、明日は言われた通りに行動しようと思っています。きょっぴさん、ありがとうございました！
また、別のインストラクターの1人の方がピンポイントで地元がいっしょで、地元のマニアックな話で盛り上がり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。早くお父さんと仲直りできるといいですね(笑)

We participated as a family of five. It was our first time canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, but we received thorough instructions, and everyone was thrilled. The snorkeling tour was even more enjoyable than we imagined, and the guide took plenty of photos, which made us very happy. The process from check-in to the end was smooth and reassuring. I highly recommend it.

I made a reservation for a mangrove canoe experience on a day trip to Iriomote Island. It turned out to be very good. Komasan was in charge, and she was wonderful; the canoe time was very enjoyable. I wanted to do SUP in the beautiful sea of Miyako Island and see coral and tropical fish, so I joined this program. The conditions were perfect for SUP that day, allowing me to enjoy both SUP and the beautiful sea of Miyako at the same time, which was a truly luxurious experience. The guide, a young man, was very attentive and provided detailed care and guidance, making it feel like a dream that passed in the blink of an eye. There were also snap photos and drone shots taken by the guide, and I received wonderful memories that leave me sighing every time I look back at them. We had a canoe experience as a family of three. The guide, Mr. Seki, provided clear explanations and communicated with all participants, which made us feel at ease throughout the experience. We learned a lot about Iriomote Island and the ecology of the mangroves.
They provided both a small paddle for our 8-year-old daughter and an adult-sized paddle, but she persevered and paddled with the adult paddle until the end. It was also very enjoyable to get out of the canoe to see the mangroves up close and touch the creatures living there.

Since I was in Iriomote, I thought I should go on an adventure and decided to try canoeing. Fortunately, the weather improved. I was a bit anxious because I had children with me, but thanks to J's explanations, guidance, and assistance, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. I participated with my boyfriend, and even though I can't swim, I had an amazing time! When I struggled to move forward, the tour guide helped me, which was reassuring. They took a lot of photos for us, and we even got videos, so it's definitely worth it! After it was over, we could also experience it on our own, so I think it's great for those who want to do more.

Due to strong winds, we did SUP on a different river instead of Kabira Bay. It was SUP while viewing the mangroves, but I would like to experience SUP at Kabira Bay as well. Despite the strong winds caused by the typhoon, my experience was amazing from start to finish thanks to our guide, Abe-chan! Since it was high tide, we were also guided to the hard course, allowing us to have a unique experience that can only be done here. On the way back, Abe-chan spotted a "crowned eagle" and created an opportunity for the tour participants to observe it, making it an incredible experience all around! Next time I visit Iriomote Island, I want to challenge myself with a SUP tour here.
台風の影響で風が強い中の参加でしたが、担当のあべちゃん（担当者さん）のおかげで最初から最後まで最高でした！ちょうど満潮とのこともあり、ハードコースにも案内してくれてここでしかできない貴重な体験をすることができました。また、帰りの車であべちゃんが「カンムリワシ」を見つけてくれ、ツアー参加者と見学する機会も作ってくれて何から何まで最高の体験ができました！
