I had an experience at the same shop about a year ago. This time, I wanted to create something in a different color, so I participated again. The instructor was very attentive, but it was still quite difficult, and time flew by. I went in with the intention of making something with the same design, but I once again realized the challenges of Edo Kiriko. Nevertheless, it was a fun experience, and I would like to visit again.

一年位前に同じお店で体験をしました。今回は色違いのものをつくりたくて、再度体験しました。丁寧に教えていただきましたが、やはり難しく、時間はあっという間です。同じデザインのものをつくるつもりで意気込んでいきましたが、改めて江戸切子の難しさを実感しました。それでも楽しい経験です。また伺いたいと思います。

The staff were very kind and taught me patiently! There was a wide variety, and the timing was just right, so I was very satisfied.

When choosing a kimono, I received advice on coordinating the colors of the obi and accessories. I chose a kimono with a simple pattern, but the obi was tied in an elaborate way, making it more vibrant. If I have the opportunity to visit Shuzenji Onsen again, I would like to use your services. 着物を選ぶ際、帯や小物の色合わせにもアドバイスをいただきました。私はシンプルな柄の着物を選びましたが、帯締めを凝った形に結んでいただき、華やかになりました。いつかまた修善寺温泉に行く機会あれば利用させていただきたいです。ありがとうございました！

I was able to choose a very cute kimono from a lot of options (﹡ˆᴗˆ﹡). The two women dressed me quickly and beautifully! I was very satisfied because I could take plenty of photos during the one-hour stroll♪ It was a great experience and created wonderful memories♡

Although it was Golden Week, it wasn't a public holiday, so it was relatively quiet. There were just the right amount of visitors. The tour course was well-structured, not too busy or too lengthy, just right. Fortunately, the weather was excellent.

There was also time for lunch, as well as tea and traditional sweets. The guide was very knowledgeable and a great speaker. Everything was wonderful.

GWとは言え旗日ではなかったから、比較的空いてました。程よく見学者が来てた、という感じ。見学コースは過不足ない筋立てで、忙しくなく冗長でもなく、丁度良かった。天気は最高だったのは幸いでした。
お昼も、お茶と和菓子の時間もありました。ガイドさんは凄く詳しくお話し上手でした。すべて良かったです。

I participated with my daughter.
It was my first experience with Edo Kiriko, and although I was nervous, the instructions were very thorough, and I had a great time.
Before attempting my own glass, I was able to practice with a sample glass, choose the shape and color I liked, and select the pattern myself, making it a very fulfilling experience.

I've already started using the finished glass that I brought home yesterday, and I really love it.

I would like to participate again if I have the chance.

娘と2人で参加させていただきました。
初めての江戸切子体験♪ドキドキでしたがご丁寧に説明してくださり、とっても楽しかったです。
自分のグラスに挑戦する前に練習用のグラスで試させていただけたり、好みのグラスの形や色を選べたり、柄も本人次第で選ぶことができ、とても充実した体験レッスンでした。

出来上がったグラス、持ち帰った昨日から早速使っています♪とても気に入りました。

また機会があったら参加したいです。

The guide was very helpful and made the whole process of creating plastic models enjoyable and easy to follow. They even took the time to explain the history of plastic models, which added to the experience and made it more meaningful.

I was also very impressed with how the guide interacted with my son. They were very sweet and patient with him and helped him create his own bowl of ramen. My son was thrilled with the result and was proud to show off his creation to everyone.

At first, I was very nervous, but once I got the hang of it, I was able to do it smoothly. Although I ended up with a hole, I am satisfied with my work. I want to challenge myself with a different pattern next time.

It was my first experience on a traditional houseboat, which I had always dreamed of. It was a bit chilly, but it was really great. The number of passengers and the duration were just right, and I enjoyed the scenery. The tempura was amazing!

憧れの屋形船初体験でした。少し肌寒い季節でしたが、とてもよかったです。定員数も所要時間もちょうどよく、景色も楽しめました。てんぷら最高でした！

The streets of Shuzenji and the kimono matched perfectly, and I was able to take a lot of photos and receive compliments from those around me. I had a really enjoyable time! Choosing the kimono was also fun! The staff were kind, and they helped me get dressed quickly while we chatted. Thank you very much! I will definitely use your services again when I visit Shuzenji. Next time, I would like to try a kimono that looks completely different from this one.

修善寺の街並みと着物がすごく合っていて、沢山写真を撮ったり、周りの方からも褒めていただけたり、楽しい時間をすごく事ができました！

It was a perfectly enjoyable experience in a good way! It lasted about 30 minutes to an hour, and it was neither too difficult nor too easy to the point of being boring; I had a lot of fun. The person who taught us shared various stories, so I was never bored during the short waiting times.

良い意味でちょうどよい体験でした！
30分〜1時間ほどで体験でき、難しくて失敗することもなく、簡単すぎてつまらないということもなく、とても楽しかったです。
教えてくださった方が色んな話をしてくれるので、ちょっとした待ち時間も飽きずに過ごせました。

Ended up at wrong location. So didn’t have my lesson. Had many messages and knew of change of address but patchy wifi meant I didn’t receive all the information - the last one had misleading address details. Am sure it would have been a fabulous experience.

Since it was a weekday, I was able to experience it with a small group. The instruction was thorough and easy to understand. I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

I had a great time learning in a homely atmosphere. I was able to choose a design I wanted to create from various samples and design it in my own way while using them as references. It was really fun! I understood how cut glass is made, and I became aware of the incredible craftsmanship of the products in the store. That made me very happy as well. Lastly, I appreciated being able to take beautiful photos at the end! Thank you!!!

アットホームな雰囲気で教えてもらえて、様々な見本がある中で作ってみたい絵柄を選んで、自分なりに参考にしながらデザインさせてもらえて、とても楽しかったです。切子はこんな風に作られているんだな、というのが分かって、お店にある商品の技巧のすごさが分かるようになりました。それもとっても嬉しかったです。

On the day of the trip, I was worried because the wind was incredibly strong, but we departed on time without any issues. I was very satisfied with both the food and the staff. Since it was at night, I would like to take the trip again for lunch next time if I have the chance.

当日はものすごい風が強くて心配したけど無事時間通り出発しました。
料理、スタッフさん共にとても満足しました。
夜だったので今度機会があったら昼御飯にまた乗りたいです。

ミニカレーのフードサンプルを作るのはとても楽しかったです。インストラクターはとても励ましてくれ、彼の仕事に対する情熱が伝わってきました。すべてを詳細に説明してくれました。私たちはかなりの時間（ほぼ2時間！）をかけましたが、彼らは私たちにとても辛抱強く接してくれました。またぜひ行きたいです。

We had a great time making the mini curry food sample. The instructor was very encouraging, clearly passionate about what he does, and explained everything in great detail. We took a long time (almost 2 hours!), but they were very patient with us. We would definitely go again.

I found it more difficult than I expected, but it was a valuable experience to create patterns with my own hands. There were so many designs to choose from that it made me hesitate, which put pressure on my time. The instructor explained things clearly, so I think anyone can do it. I wish I had more time. I would like to challenge myself with colored glasses again!

時間を圧迫してしまいました。

I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was very delicious. The sunset from the deck was beautiful, and I was satisfied. The foreign staff were all working hard, which felt nice. I have reservations for this month's couple trip and next month's business trip as well.

あまり料理は期待していなかったですが、とても美味しかったです。デッキからの夕陽も綺麗で満足できました。外国人スタッフもみなさん頑張っていて気持ち良かったです。今月の夫婦旅も来月の仕事旅にも予約しています。

We very much enjoyed our experience making food samples at Yamato Food Samples in Ikebukuro. Staff was very patient with us. It was a fun experience.

I went to Asakusa with a former colleague from work. We experienced Edo Kiriko. Surprisingly, it was very difficult, and at this age, I had a great experience concentrating like this. I was moved to be able to experience the wonderfulness of Kiriko once again.

職場の元同僚と浅草へ。江戸切子体験。意外にもとても難しくて、この年でこんなに集中する事なくとても良い経験をさせていただきました。
改めて、切子の素晴らしさを体験できて感動しました。

Despite the unfortunate weather that seemed like it might rain, I decided to go ahead and use the service, and I had a wonderful time that exceeded my expectations. Even though I arrived earlier than my reservation time, they attended to me right away.

On the boat, the guide shared various stories about the scenery and Kyoto, and even took photos for us. Additionally, a boat shop came alongside, allowing us to buy oden, dango, beer, and more, which made for a fun time filled with eating, drinking, laughing, and even feeding the ducks.

I was initially concerned about the duration being a private charter, but it truly flew by. I would love to try this again during the autumn foliage season.

雨が降りそうなあいにくのお天気で、キャンセルしようかと悩みながら利用させて貰ったのですが、とても楽しく思った以上に素敵な時間が過ごせました。
予約時間より早く伺ったにもかかわらず、すぐに対応してくださいました。
船の上では、番頭さんが景色や京都についていろいろなお話をしてくれ、写真を撮ってくれたりしました。又船のお店が途中で来て横付けをし、おでんや団子、ビールなどが買え、飲んだり食べたり笑ったり、カモに餌をあげたりと、とても楽しかったです。
I時間も貸切でどうかなと思いましたが、本当にあっという間で、今度は紅葉の時期に乗ってみたいなと思いました。

Great little shop! The instructor was very kind, introduced us to the history of samples, thoroughly described all the materials and techniques and guided us through making our sample. We were very happy with the experience and the resulting souvenir! Note that our instructor mostly spoke in Japanese, which was Ok with us, but I believe there are other employees who speak English.

Signed the husband up for this experience as he really enjoys ramen! He was a perfect fit for this class since the laying of the ramen noodles, and particular placement of the garnishes are more meticulous. The instructor was very thorough in explaining the materials we would be using, had an example placed next to you on the table so you understood how it would look like. The place is very neat and clean and he really cheers you along as your working on your ramen making.

Looking forward to attending again when back in Tokyo!

I’ve grown up seeing these food displays outside of Japanese restaurants, but never knew how they were made. Found out about this experience from another family traveling through Tokyo and it looked like fun. It was much more fun than expected but definitely not as easy as it looks. Definitely need to channel your creative side.

We hope to do this again the next time we’re in Japan and attempt the tempura experience!

The instructor was very enthusiastic and thorough. We went through several different patterns and played over some festival music, it was easy to follow with a little practise. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it was one of the highlights of my holiday

It's a rental service that attracts many foreigners, and I was able to wear a kimono that was much cuter than I expected! The place is small, but the staff, who speak multiple languages, are friendly, and their sense of kimono dressing and hairstyles is outstanding. Overall, it was a smooth process. Also, I couldn't help but think that the kimono I wore while walking around Asakusa was the cutest! I would love to use this service again.

外国人がいっぱい来るレンタルサービスですが、思ったよりずっとかわいい着物を着るができました！場所は狭いが、多言語をしゃべるスタッフ陣の対応がフレンドリーで、着付けと髪型のセンスも抜群です。全体的にスムーズな過程でした。また、着付けしてもらった着物も、浅草の街中を歩いても、一番かわいいと自分が思ってしまいました笑。また利用したいと思います。

My daughter loves Prince Shotoku, so it was our first time in Nara. We took an overnight bus from Shinjuku the night before. The wooden architecture was impressive! It was a continuous series of "Wow!" moments. The guide's explanations were easy to understand. The driver also spoke to us, which made us very satisfied.

娘が聖徳太子好きで初めての奈良でした。前日夜行バスで新宿から出発。木造建築の立派なこと！すごいなーの連続でした。ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすかったです。運転手さんも声をかけてくださり、満足でした。

Great overall experience. The instructor was very friendly and polite. He explained every step of the process and gave some background information on plastic food samples. The instructor was patient and we also had a good chat. The atmosphere was relaxed. I made a bowl of ramen and got it packaged neatly for me to take home. Would recommend this experience!

We participated as a group of four women, wanting to experience something fun and casual. I never expected to find a place like this in Toba. From the moment we walked from the parking lot to the experience site, we already felt like we were on a picnic.

At the site, we changed into the samue we borrowed from the hut and headed to the waterfall. We entered the water one by one, and the river was shallow enough, about knee-deep, so even someone like me who can't swim felt safe walking in.

The local guide taught us everything about how to enter the waterfall and perform the prayers. I was nervous at first when entering the waterfall, but since we did it three times, I quickly got used to it. Despite being a casual experience, it felt refreshing and sacred. The guide also took photos for us, making it a wonderful memory.

まさか鳥羽にこんなところがあると思いませんでした
駐車場から体験場所まで歩いていくときから既にピクニック気分。
現地では小屋でお借りした作務衣に着替えをし、いざ滝行へ。
4名順番に入水するのですが、
川は膝くらいの深さで泳げない私でも安心して歩けます。

滝の入り方、祈祷の仕方などは現地のガイドさんがすべて教えてくれます。
最初滝に入る時は緊張しましたが、3回実施するので
すぐに慣れます。
気軽に体験した割には、何か清々しい、神聖な気分を味わえます。
現地ではガイドの方が写真撮影もしてくれて
いい思い出になりました。
