Every year, I participate in my child's birthday celebration. This is the third time, and this time I was disappointed for the first time.

The seat I had was completely blocked by a pillar, so I couldn't see anything. Even when they were singing the birthday song, I couldn't see, which made my child disappointed too.

I wondered why we were given this seat when there were so many other seats available. The photo with the cake also had the "Happy Birthday" text crooked and cut off halfway.

For the staff on the boat, it might just be another day out of 365, but for me, who participates once a year for my child's birthday, it's an important day. In the past two years, my child was happy and wanted to celebrate their birthday on the boat, so we traveled to Okinawa, but now I'm reconsidering for the next birthday.

I chose the best course called the Cattleya Course, but it was not delicious at all. The view was also average. I regret not opting for the barbecue plan without expectations. The main dish meat was tough and unappetizing. I took one bite and got off the boat to go somewhere else. It's important not to have excessive expectations. There were too many staff members who couldn't speak Japanese (laughs).

カトレアコースという一番いいコースにしましたが
全く美味しくありませんでした。景色も普通。期待せずバーベキュープランにすれば良かったと後悔。
メインディッシュのお肉は固くて不味い。一口でやめて船降りて別の所へ行きました。過度な期待は禁物です。スタッフも日本語通じない人多すぎ（笑）

I have enjoyed cruising several times abroad. My daughter said, "You really like this, don't you, Mom?" and I participated again domestically without hesitation. The staff was very kind, and the food was delicious. We didn't go far, just cruising around the bay, but I was able to enjoy the meal while watching the sunset and planes taking off. At a nearby table, a couple from the U.S. military was celebrating a surprise anniversary, which was quite touching and added to the exotic atmosphere.

海外では何度かクルージングを楽しんできました。一緒に行った娘から「お母さんも好きだね～」と言われつつ、国内でも懲りずに参加しました。スタッフがとても親切で、お料理もおいしくいただくことができました。湾の中をグルグル回り遠出はしなかったのですが、食事を楽しみながらもサンセットや飛びだつ飛行機をみることができました。近くの席で米軍のカップルが、サプライズアニバーサリーをしていたので、ちょっと感激＆異国気分も味合うことができました。

I had my first meal on a boat. Since we celebrated our wedding anniversary two days ago, I secretly prepared a cake for my wife, and when the staff brought it out, they were so kind and took a photo for us, which they put in a photo frame as a gift. We participated as a party of two. The table for two was by the window with a view of the sea. The sunset can be seen from the left side in the direction of travel. The sunset is around 7 PM. We ordered the steak course. The steak was tender and satisfying in portion size.

I thought it was great that you could have a drink before the performance and that there was an easy-to-understand explanation before the kyogen, making it enjoyable and accessible for beginners. However, while I found the explanation part interesting, it seemed a bit noisy for my companion, who isn't familiar with contemporary theater. It's a matter of personal preference, I suppose.

開演前に一杯呑むことができたり、狂言の前にわかりやすい説明があったり、初心者にとって楽しみやすい、親しみやすい志向がよかったと思います。
ただ、わたしにとっては説明のくだりがおもしろかったのですが、現代劇に親しみがない同行者にとっては少々騒がしかったようで。そこは好き好きですね。

However, there was a musician performing live inside the boat, and even though we were seated by the window, I enjoyed the two playtimes more than just looking outside during the cruise. I was especially moved when the title "Okinawa" was performed.

The sunset, no matter how many times I see it, excites me! The view from the boat is something special. Perhaps because it's close to Naha Airport, planes also fly across the sunset, which is romantic. Mr. Matsumoto's singing inside the boat, mixed with Okinawan songs, is wonderful. The staff were also friendly and made it enjoyable, so I never got bored. If you're wondering where to have dinner in Okinawa, I definitely recommend this cruise. I'll participate again!

On January 2nd, my family of four participated in an experience. Due to the New Year holidays, we were informed in advance that host families could not be found, so the event was held at "Hatoba Station" in Motobu. The content was also irregular. The sanshin class was taught by the president of the local tourism association. We arrived early and were first given a tour of the town center of Motobu and had the chance to scoop up the local fish, gurukun, with a net. For lunch, we enjoyed the live gurukun sashimi, butter-grilled gurukun, and fish soup. The conversation with the sanshin instructor was very enjoyable, and we had a truly meaningful time. Although I have visited Okinawa many times, this was the first time I had such a long conversation with local people, and it was very healing. I would like to participate in this program again during my next visit to Okinawa. I also want to use the "Uminomai" menu from the "Umi Seikatsu" program that helped us this time. １月２日に家族４人で体験してきました。正月休みのため、受け入れ家庭が見つからないとのことで、本部町にある’波止場の駅’内での開催となり、内容もイレギュラーになると事前に連絡があった上で参加しました。三線教室については地元の観光協会の会長さんに指導していただきました。早めに到着しましたが、最初に本部町の中心街の町案内をしていただいたり、生簀のグルクンをタモですくったりしました。昼食はそのグルクンの活造り、バター焼き、あら汁を出していただきました。三線講師のかたとのゆんたくもとても楽しく、とても有意義な時間を過ごせました。何度も沖縄は来ていますが、初めてと思うくらい地元の方と長時間話をさせていただき、とても癒されました。次回来沖時は本プログラムのほうでも参加したいと思います。また、今回お世話になった【海生活】の海人メニューも利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

I participated three times and encountered the sunset twice. Is it a privilege of attending alone? I was able to enjoy my meal at a two-person table by the window and had a beautiful view. The staff on board were also very approachable, which made any worries disappear. Matsumoto's singing and performance were amazing!!! It's a shame that I couldn't fully immerse myself in the music because of the meal! I bought the CD without hesitation. Every time I listen to the CD, I think of the sunset in Okinawa, the Moby ship, the staff, and Matsumoto. Next time I participate, I will bring my wife along to share the experience together!

3回参加し２回サンセットに遭遇しました。
ひとり参加の特権？窓際のふたり掛けテーブルで食事が出来きれいに見ることが出来ました。
船内のスタッフの皆様も気軽に声を掛けて下さるので不安なんて吹っ飛んじゃいました。
マツモトさんの歌、演奏最高！！！食事さえなければじっくり聴き入ることが出来るのに残念！
迷わずＣＤ買いました。
ＣＤを聴くたびに沖縄のサンセット、モビー号、スタッフの皆様、マツモトさんを思い浮かべます。
今度参加する時は妻も参加させ一緒に感動します！

It was just okay.
Deciding in advance on the tenderness of the meat based on previous reviews was the right choice.
The cruise felt like it was just going around the port, so I couldn't really enjoy the scenery.

The steak for the meal was terrible, tough, and inedible. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked and served it well done. I've heard that all the steaks are cooked the same way, but this isn't school lunch. It was the worst. Also, I don't know what language the people around me were speaking, but they were loud and noisy. I can't recommend this place to anyone, and we won't be using it again.

It was my first experience with kyogen. Just seeing the Noh theater is worth it, and Enban Rider's pre-performance explanation was great. I enjoyed the kyogen itself thanks to the explanations.

There is a bit of an insider feel to it. It's like I stumbled into a cultural festival from another school...

Overall, I think it offers value that exceeds the price.

After enjoying a relaxed time in the lounge, the kyogen performance was fun. It was my first time seeing the play "The Owl," and I was laughing throughout. I brought a friend who was also seeing it for the first time; at first, they were a bit nervous, but they were surprised by the atmosphere of the lounge and ultimately relaxed and enjoyed it. The photo time was also interesting and nice. After the performance, Mr. Okura was friendly and wonderful as he took pictures with fans.

ラウンジでゆるーく楽しんだ後の狂言、楽しかったです。今回の演目の梟ははじめてでしたが、随所、笑わせていただきました。
はじめてという友人を連れて行ったのですが、最初はおっかなびっくりでしたがラウンジの雰囲気を見て驚いてましたが最終的にはリラックスして楽しんでくれていました。写真タイムがあるのも面白くていいですね。舞台が終わった後に、ファンの方と写真を一緒に撮られている大藏さんも気さくな感じで素敵でした。

My First Kyogen 初めての狂言

Before the performance started, the waiting area felt like a lounge, with drinks, light snacks from Kanedaka, and a kimono DJ that really lifted the mood. The opening skit was also entertaining, and it was great to have a direct explanation of the kyogen from the performer right before the show. The content was easy to understand, and even though it was my first time experiencing kyogen, I enjoyed it very much! The backstage tour was also wonderful, as I got to see areas like the dressing rooms and behind the scenes that are usually off-limits.

演目が始まるまでは前室がラウンジのようになっていてドリンクや金田中さんの軽食、着物DJなどで気分が上がります。
前座のコント？も面白かったですし、演目前に狂言師さん直々に狂言の説明をしていただけたのが良かったです。内容もわかりやすかったですし、初めての狂言でしたがとても楽しめました！

I have an interest in traditional performing arts, and I learned about this tour through a friend's recommendation. I had experienced Bunraku before, but it was my first time seeing Noh and Kyogen. I felt a bit nervous entering the venue, as it seemed somewhat highbrow. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a Japanese-style club. The attendees appeared to be quite affluent, but there were also various people, including someone pulling a carry-on bag from afar and a young child who seemed to be in elementary school (later revealed to be the son of one of the performers). There was also a merchandise booth, and as someone wearing a kimono, I was very intrigued by the reasonably priced hanhaba obi and obi-dome. Before the performance, the performers provided a rather rough synopsis, and a comedian explained the etiquette for watching Kyogen, which made me feel at ease even without prior preparation. I never expected to laugh so much while enjoying traditional performing arts, which I thought would be highbrow. I believe it was a very approachable atmosphere for beginners in traditional arts. This was my first time using a tour, so I have no comparisons, but I was very satisfied!

伝統芸能に興味があり、知人の紹介でこのツアーを知り申し込みました。文楽鑑賞はしたことがありましたが、能・狂言は初めてでした。なんとなく敷居が高い気がして少し緊張して会場に入りました。会場は和風のクラブかと思わせるような雰囲気。来ている人達はなんとなくリッチにみえるような方々が多かった気がしますが、キャリーバックを引いた遠方からと思われる方、小学生低学年と思われるちびっ子（のちにこのちびっ子は演者さんの息子さんと判明）もいるなど様々な方が来ていました。また物販のブースもあり、着物を着る私にとっては半幅帯や帯留めがかなりのリーズナブルさだったことに興味津々でした。本番前には演者さんたちによる、かなり大荒なあらすじ解説、芸人さんによる前せつで狂言の鑑賞マナーを知ることができ、予習をしていなくとも安心して観ることができました。敷居が高いと思っていた伝統芸能でこんなにケラケラと笑うとは思ってもみないほど楽しく鑑賞できました。伝統芸能初心者にとっては、とてもとっつきやすい雰囲気だったと思います。初めてのツアー利用で比較対象がありませんが、大満足でした！
