However, on the last day of the Obon holiday, it was quite crowded by 10 AM. There wasn't much space, and aside from the food court, there weren't many places to sit comfortably, so it might be challenging for those with children. In the end, we took photos at a spot where we could see the beautiful scenery of Kobe.

It was our first time in Wakayama and the Kumano Kodo. Although we had an image in mind, we were unsure about the best way to explore, but with the detailed explanations, we felt confident to leave it in their hands!

We started from the museum and the starting point of the Kumano Kodo. Since we had communicated that we couldn't walk too much, we explored the Kumano Kodo within a manageable range and also visited sites by car. We even got to see the famous spring water.

The Hongu area was very mystical and impressive. On the way back, we took a different route along the coast, allowing us to visit unexpected areas. The content of the guided tour was very enjoyable, and we were taken to a delicious restaurant for lunch. They also paid attention to the timing for restroom breaks, allowing us to spend a fulfilling day. Thank you very much.

復路は往路とは違い海沿いを走ってくださり、思いがけないエリアも観光して帰ることができました。ガイドしてくださる内容も大変楽しめましたし、昼食も美味しいお店に連れていってくださいました。トイレのタイミングも気にかけてくださり、丸1日充実した時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

I'm really glad that we could efficiently explore the Asuka region, which is difficult to cover on our own. The VR experience was enjoyable without making us feel dizzy since we watched it after parking, and it was fascinating as a first-time experience. Most importantly, it helped us visualize that era, allowing us to learn more about the Asuka and Nara periods.

Although it was a very hot season, the service was excellent, with umbrellas provided and cold towels distributed! The guide and driver were also kind, making it a truly enjoyable day.

Following the tour of Hōryū-ji on the previous day, I also participated in this tour, which included a visit to the sacred sites of "The Prince of the Sun" (personally speaking).

The friendly guide from Nara Kōtsū was entertaining, and I was very happy to find out that he was the same driver as the previous day (he was pleasant and I felt comfortable entrusting my safety to him). Thanks to the guide, I gained deeper knowledge and enjoyed the day even more.

Since it was just outside the school trip season, we almost had the places to ourselves, which was great.

For lunch, we had persimmon leaf sushi, but I couldn't eat the mackerel since I'm not fond of it, so I swapped my mackerel for my husband's salmon. I would have appreciated being able to choose the types of persimmon leaf sushi.

I experienced a level of satisfaction from this trip that I wouldn't have gotten from traveling alone, and since returning home, I've been immersing myself in the romance of ancient Asuka history while looking at the photos every day for the past week.

After participating in both tours over the two days, I have become a fan of Nara Prefecture and Nara Kōtsū. I'm seriously considering the summer Yoshino tour recommended by the guide for this September!

(Since I used two courses of Nara Kōtsū's regular sightseeing bus, I received a refund of 500 yen due to the consecutive ride discount.)

奈良交通の気さくなガイドさんのお話も面白く、そしてなんと前日のドライバーさんと同じ方でしたのが（感じが良くて安心して運転を任せられる方でしたので）とても嬉しかったです。
この日もガイドさんのおかげで知識が深まりより楽しめました。

ちょうど修学旅行シーズンから外れたので行く先々ほぼ貸し切り状態となり良かったです。

柿の葉寿司の昼食でしたが、サバ3個、鮭2個のうち、サバが苦手で食べられず…。
主人のものとサバと鮭を交換して事無きを得ました。笑
柿の葉寿司の種類を選べるとありがたいなと思いました。

個人旅では得られない旅の満足感があり、帰宅後この1週間、毎日写真を眺めながら古代飛鳥歴史ロマンに浸りに浸っております。

２日間、それぞれのツアーに参加してすっかり奈良県と奈良交通さんのファンになり、ガイドさんにおすすめいただいた夏の吉野をめぐるツアーを是が非でもこの9月にと検討中です！

In February of this year, I used a walking tour in Vancouver through Veltra and had such a great experience that I decided to rely on them for my trip to Nara as well.

This trip to Nara, which I had longed for, also served as a pilgrimage to the sacred sites of the manga "Hidari no Tenko," which I was obsessed with in my youth. It had been over 30 years since my last visit during a school trip.

　実際ツアーが始まると安全運転で熟練のドライバーＫさんと見学先の仏閣の表・裏の情報を交えたコミカルな話しぶりのバスガイドＹさんの息の合ったツアー劇場が時間通り進行して、予想以上に楽しいバス旅行となりました。旅行終了後は、居酒屋に飛び込み、妻と地の大和野菜や豆腐を使った料理、ツアーでお互い印象に残ったことなど肴に地酒など呑みながら、新たな思い出を作りました。

It was a journey fitting for the last day of a three-day tour. Starting from the Omiwa Shrine, which is dedicated to Mount Miwa mentioned in mythology, I thoroughly enjoyed the era of Prince Shotoku all the way to Asuka-dera, which I had wanted to visit the most. It was my first experience with VR, and it was fun and educational with exciting images that made seeing the actual sites even more thrilling. The "somen no fushi" I bought from a shop on the approach to Omiwa Shrine has been delicious in my miso soup.

The photo is of the ceiling painting at Tachibana-dera, which is quite recent, and you can lie down in the main hall to admire it. By that time, I was starting to feel tired and almost dozed off.

3連続ツアー参加の最終日にふさわしい旅でした。神話にも記される三輪山を御神体とする大神神社から始まり、一番行きたかった飛鳥寺まで聖徳太子の時代を満喫しました。VR初体験でしたが、現物を見るのがワクワクするような画像で楽しかったし、勉強になりました。大神神社の参道のお店で買った「そうめんのふし」はお味噌汁の具でおいしくいただいてます。
写真は、橘寺の天井画で極最近の物ですが、本堂に寝っ転がり鑑賞できます。疲れが出てくる頃でウトウトしてしまいそうになりました。

It was great that I could visit Kofuku-ji before the tour started, even though the boarding and alighting stations were different. After getting off at Nara Station, I strolled along Sanjo Street to buy souvenirs, making for a very fulfilling day. Since I participated in consecutive tours from the day before, I used a 500 yen refund and a 10% discount coupon per person, which made the upgraded souvenirs very well received. We walked a lot during the tour, and when including the time before and after, I exceeded 19,000 steps. I was able to see the Buddha statues and temples I wanted to see, enjoy delicious meals, and even have a tea experience at Jiko-in, making it a wonderful trip. Our driver, who was a Kumano Kodo advisor, took us from our hotel in Shirahama to the grave of Kiyohime, and we visited Takijiri Oji, Ushibako Doji, and Nonaka no Shimizu, where he recommended a great lunch spot. We enjoyed some mountain climbing at key points while visiting Kumano Hongu Taisha, Sandasha, and Daizaihara. On the fourth floor, due to the rain that day, I couldn't sit in the café or observe the otters closely, so I thought it would be nice to have a roof there.

Despite the light rain, I was thrilled to visit Nara for the first time. The pagodas and temple complexes of Hōryū-ji, Yakushi-ji, and Tōshōdai-ji had a charming atmosphere as they were wet from the rain, and the national treasure statues were amazing. I wished I could have spent half a day relaxing in the garden viewed from the tea room at Jikō-in if I had more time.
