It was my first time sightseeing in Kyoto, so I chose a bus tour. I was a bit anxious since it seemed mainly aimed at foreigners, but my Japanese was good. The bus was clean, and both the driver and the tour guide were kind and helpful. Also, the handmade map of the sightseeing spots was excellent. Thank you for your service.

初めての京都観光でしたのでバスツアーを選んでみました。主に外国の方向けとみたので不安もありましたが日本語も上手でした。バスは綺麗ですし運転手さん観光ガイドさん親切で良かったです。あと観光名所のてづくり地図が最高に良かったです。お世話になりました。

I was worried that we wouldn't be able to go river rafting due to the rising water after the heavy rain, but I'm glad we could. I thought we would get really wet, but it was nice that we didn't get too soaked.

I participated alone. It would be very difficult to visit all these tourist spots by myself, but it's easy since you can take a bus right to the entrance. Plus, with the guide's explanations, it's a great deal.

It was my first time sightseeing in Kyoto, but it felt like a tour designed for foreigners. There was no explanation in Japanese, and we were left to explore on our own, with only the meeting time and place provided in Japanese. I think the open-top bus that allowed us to hop on and off, which I took the day before, was more worthwhile. I would have liked to have historical explanations available in Japanese as well, perhaps through an audio guide.

初めての京都観光でしたが、外国の方のためのツアーだった様な気がしました。
日本語の説明は無く、各自で観光する為、集合時間と場所の日本語のみで、前日に乗車した、オープントップバス乗り降り自由の方が、値があった様に思います。歴史的説明は日本語でも聞くことが出来る、イアホン説明でもして欲しいですね

The Hozu River boat ride was very enjoyable. The boatman's stories were interesting, and the time flew by. On the boat we rode, everyone else was from abroad.

保津川下り、とても楽しかったです。
船頭さんのお話も面白く、あっという間の時間でした。私達が乗った船は、私達以外は外国の方でした。

The guide who accompanied us was a local, and they included information that only locals would know, which made it very enjoyable. Although there were many foreign participants on the tour, the guide was fluent in English, and I, as a Japanese person, also learned a lot. I would like to participate again.

添乗して頂いたガイドさんが地元出身の方で、地元の方しか知らない情報も
話に盛り込んで頂き、とても楽しかったです。
外国の方も多いツアーでしたが、英語も堪能で日本人の私も勉強になりました。また参加したいです。

Out of the 40 people on the tour, there were two groups of Japanese participants, and the tour guide, Mr. Oh (from Taiwan), spoke to us in three languages and provided information about souvenirs. I joined from Sapporo, and since I wasn't familiar with the souvenirs, I definitely want to buy some.

If lunch had been included, I think it would have been the perfect day trip tour. I would love to participate again.

４０人のツアーのうち日本人は２組でしたが添乗員のオーさん（台湾の方) の方が3か国でお話してくれお土産情報もおしえてくださいました。札幌から参加させていただきましたが知らないお土産でしたのでぜひ買ってみたいとおもっています
お昼ご飯もついてたらサイコーの日帰りツアーだったとおもいます

I don't think I could have visited this many spots in one day on my own. The guide's explanations and guidance were great, and I would like to use this service again.

個人では1日でこれだけのスポットは回れなかったと思います。ガイドさんの説明や案内も良かったし、また利用したいと思います。

The weather was sunny and perfect.
I think the snowy scenery would be even more beautiful.
I want to try going in winter next time.

From what I observed, it seems that you can visit the famous spots in Kyoto in just one day. However, the guidance is in English. If you have a bit of listening ability, I definitely recommend it. It's also a great learning experience with new discoveries. Thank you, Maria. Please guide me to another place next time.

見まわしたところ、京都の有名処を1日で回れるのはこれだけのようです。

I participated with my elementary school daughter. Despite the crowds during Golden Week, we were able to efficiently visit four places, which left us very satisfied. The traffic wasn't a major concern either.

Since there was a limit on the time spent at each location, I did feel a bit torn, but it was a tour that connected to what we want to do next time.

More than half of the participants were from overseas, and the guide explained everything in English, making it feel like we were on an international trip. It was also helpful that explanations were provided in Japanese (laughs).

I recommend this for beginners in Kyoto sightseeing. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

小学生の娘と二人で参加しました。GWの混み合う中でしたが、京都初心者には効率良く4箇所も回れて、大満足です。渋滞も気になる程ではありませんでした。
1箇所の滞在時間に限りがある為、後ろ髪引かれる思いはありましたが、次回はこうしようと次に繋がるツアーでした。
参加者の半分以上海外の方で、ガイドの方も英語で説明され、海外旅行に来たかと勘違いしそうなレベルでした。日本語でも説明頂いたので、助かりました(笑)
京都観光初心者の方に、おすすめです。

It was great to enjoy both Takayama and Shirakawa-go in one day. I signed up for a Japanese tour, but it was primarily made up of Chinese participants, and I was confused by the limited explanations from the guide.

I was told that taking the shuttle bus to the observation deck in Shirakawa-go would be quicker, but when we arrived at the shuttle bus stop, there were no buses at the time we went, which caused a loss of time. It was a shame to waste time with only two hours of free time.

Also, the color of the flag at the meeting point was shown as white in the photo sent to us, but it was actually brown. Since most of the participants were foreigners, we didn't realize it was our tour at first. I would have appreciated a heads-up about the multinational nature of the tour in advance.

１日で飛騨高山と白川郷を楽しめたのはとても良かったです。
日本語ツアーを申し込んだのですが、中国人中心のツアーでガイドさんの説明が少なくて戸惑いました。

白川郷でシャトルバスで展望台まで行くと早いと言われてシャトルバス乗り場に行ったら私達の行った時間はシャトルバスがなく時間のロスでした。
自由時間が2時間しかない中でのロスはもったいなかったです。

あと集合場所の旗の色が送られてきた写真では白だったのに茶色でした。外国の方がほとんどだったので自分たちのツアーだとは最初わかりませんでした。多国籍ツアーなら事前に知らせてほしかったです。

The experience was very good, as it coincided with Japan's Golden Week travel period. There were traffic jams on the highways, but thanks to the guide's constant coordination, we were able to visit all the attractions! Moreover, the time spent at each site was not shortened! It was a perfect day!

The boatmen took turns showcasing the highlights of the Hozu River. I could really feel the teamwork. I would like to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

船頭さんが、代わる代わる交代で保津川の見どころを演出。とてもチームワークが感じられました。今度は紅葉シーズンに訪れてみたいです。

On May 4th, my family of seven participated from Ishikawa. I was a bit anxious since I signed us up on my own, but to cut to the chase, we had an absolutely fantastic time, and everyone in the family said they enjoyed it too! We were blessed with great weather and beautiful scenery, but what stood out the most were the three wonderful boatmen who made the experience enjoyable with their fun conversations, keeping us laughing the whole time.

The river had several rapids, and we got splashed quite a bit, which was incredibly fun! My children and I were seated at the ends, so we got pretty soaked, while the family members sitting in the middle stayed dry. If you don't want to get wet, I recommend not sitting at the ends.

The hour and a half of river rafting flew by because we were having so much fun. Thank you so much for being considerate of both the kids and the parents in various situations! Also, I want to express my gratitude to the staff member who prepared motion sickness medication for my youngest child, who started worrying about getting seasick before boarding. Everyone was so kind, and we had the best time!

5月4日に石川県より家族7人で参加させて頂きました。
私の独断でお申し込みをしたので、家族皆がどう思うか内心不安でしたが、結論から言うとすっっごく楽しかったですし、家族皆も楽しかった～！！と言っていました！
お天気にも恵まれ景色も綺麗でしたが、何より船頭さん御三方が素敵な方々でトークも楽しくて終始爆笑していました。
川下りは何カ所か急流があり、派手に水しぶきがかかってびしょ濡れになってめちゃくちゃ楽しかったです！！
私と子ども達は両端に座っていたのでかなり濡れましたが、真ん中に座っていた家族は濡れなかったので、濡れるのが嫌な方は両端には座らない方が良いかと思われます。
楽しすぎて1時間半の川下り、あっという間でした。
子ども達にも両親にも色んな場面で気配りをして下さって、本当にありがとうございました！！
そして、乗船前に船酔いの心配をし始めた一番下の子に、酔い止めを用意して下さったスタッフの方、本当にありがとうございました！！
皆さんにすごく親切にして頂いて最高に楽しむことができました。

Since it's high season, reservations are essential.
I was relieved to be able to make an early reservation here.

Also, the boatmen prioritized safety while making it a lot of fun; the river descent went by in no time.

We coordinated with the trolley train, and the children were thrilled.

The journey while gazing at Mount Fuji from the bus was amazing. Since it was during Golden Week, the expressway was heavily congested, but I enjoyed the beautiful scenery so much that I forgot about it. The participants were diverse, coming from America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, which made me feel like I was traveling abroad. Both the guide and the driver were wonderful people.

バスから富士山をずーっと眺めながらの旅は最高でした。
GW中なので高速道路は大渋滞ですが、それを忘れてしまうほど美しい景色を堪能しました。
参加者は、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、オーストラリア、アジアとバラエティに富んでいて、海外旅行をしている気分も楽しめました。
ガイドさんもドライバーさんも素敵な方でした。

This time, it was my first visit to Kyoto in over a decade. With COVID finally settling down, it was a long-awaited family trip, and I wanted to explore as much as possible! However, I thought it would be unavoidable to deal with crowds, so I chose the bus tour from LIMON. This was a great decision. It was an unusually hot day, but I was able to cool off on the bus while enjoying the guide's entertaining stories, and we visited many famous spots, which left me very satisfied. My son, who is in the first year of middle school, was also very interested as he could listen to explanations in both Japanese and English. I would recommend this tour to students as well.

Additionally, I was impressed by the attentive service, such as collecting trash on the bus and offering to take photos at tourist spots. I'm grateful to LIMON! (I want to go on a tour with JEWEL again… Good luck!)

今回、十数年ぶりの京都でした。
コロナがやっとおさまり、家族旅行も久しぶり、せっかくなら、あちこち回りたい！しかし混雑は避けられないと思い、LIMONさんのバスツアーを選びました。
これが大正解。尋常ではない暑さでしたが、バスで涼みながら、ガイドさんの楽しいお話も聞けて、名所も沢山回れて、大満足です。
中1の息子も、日本語と英語の説明を聞けて、興味津々。学生さんにもおすすめしたいツアーでした。

他にも、車内のゴミ集めや、観光スポットでの写真など、よく声をかけて頂き、サービスが行き届いていると感心しています。LIMONさんに感謝！

Since we had a reservation, we were able to board smoothly. Three boatmen took turns entertaining us with their unique and funny stories as we traveled down to Arashiyama. They even engaged with foreign guests in my limited English (laughs).

予約して居たのでスムーズに乗船出来、3人の船頭さんが嵐山到着まで交代して3人3様に面白お可笑しく話ながら下って来ました。外国人の方にも拙い英語で受けていました(笑)

It rained all day, but I had a great time. Thank you to the guide for the thorough introductions and assistance. If I have the opportunity in the future, I will definitely use your services again.

I came from Hokkaido. I knew that most of the participants would be foreigners because I read experiences in advance, but there were indeed many.
This was the only bus tour that allowed us to visit four famous spots in one day, so I signed up.
It was May 1st, and even though it was a holiday, the roads were surprisingly clear since it was a weekday, and we arrived at Kyoto Station safely at 5:10 PM, even though the initial announcement was around 5:30 to 5:45 PM.
The guide provided information in both English and Japanese, and their language skills were amazing.
I made a mistake at the meeting point in Arashiyama and had to call the guide for directions, which caused me to be cutting it close on time. I truly felt that participating in this tour was a great decision.

北海道から来ました。外国人の方が大半なのは、事前に体験談を読んだのでわかっていましたがほんとに多かったです。
一日で、4名所を回れるバス観光は、このツアーしかありませんでしたので、申し込みました。
5月1日でしたが、連休とはいえ平日だったせいか道路も意外と空いており終了時間は、当初5時30分〜45分頃とのアナウスでしたが、5時10分に無事京都駅に到着しました。
ガイドさんの案内は英語と日本語の両方でされており、語学力すごいです最高でした。
嵐山で、集合場所を間違って、ガイドさんに電話して、案内していただき、時間ギリギリになり迷惑をかけてしまいました。本当にこのツアーに参加して良かったと思いました。

The bus guide was very helpful, advising us on how to stay warm, moving us to seats with a roof, and sharing interesting stories. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, but we could only truly enjoy them around the Imperial Palace at the beginning; in other areas, we only caught a glimpse of the blossoms, and the rest felt like just a tour of Tokyo. I wish we could have strolled a bit more in places like Ueno and enjoyed the cherry blossoms at a more leisurely pace; it was different from the tour I had imagined.

バスガイドさんは、寒くない様にアドバイスしてくれたり、屋根のある席に移動させてくれたり、お話も面白くて、とても良かったです。
桜も満開でしたが、肝心の桜が楽しめたのは、最初の皇居周りだけで、それ以外の地域は、桜は一瞬だけ見れて、後はただの東京巡りという感じでした。上野などで、少し散策出来たりと、桜をもう少しゆっくり鑑賞出来たら良かったのにと思い、想像していたツアーとは違ってました。

Most of the tours that were conducted experienced unpredictable weather, and it seemed that the cherry blossoms had not yet bloomed. However, on the day I participated, the weather was nice and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so I was very lucky. The course was also quite satisfying. I had high expectations for the view from the open-top bus, but unfortunately, the bus windows were dirty and looked foggy. What a disappointment.

The train conductor and tour guide were incredibly kind, which made me feel at ease during the journey and sightseeing. I especially appreciated the tour guide's clear explanations, accompanying us to the dining area, and the simple directions for the meeting points. I am very grateful, thank you.

The road lined with cherry blossom trees in full bloom was beautiful, and I could see them up close from the open-top bus, almost as if I could reach out and touch them. Other than that, the view of the cherry blossoms was from a distance, which is understandable given the location, but I felt it would have been even better if I could have seen them a bit closer. The guide shared many interesting facts that I didn't know, which made me feel more knowledgeable.

There were children in the back who were crying, kicking the seats, and making noise with their juice holders. Since I like kids, it didn't bother me too much, but I thought it might be better to consider seating arrangements.

However, it was my first time riding a double-decker open-top bus, and the different scenery, the pleasant breeze, and the beautiful cherry blossoms made it a wonderful experience.

桜が満開で両脇に桜の木がある道はオープンバスで手がとどきそうなぐらい近い状態で見れて綺麗だった。その他は遠めの桜をみる感じで場所的にもしょうがないがもう少し近くで見れたらもっと良いと感じた。ガイドさんの話も知らなかったことが多く知識がました気がする。
後ろの方が子供連れで泣いたり、椅子をドンドンと蹴ることやジュースホルダーをガチャガチャと私は子供好きなので大丈夫ではあったが席を考えたほうが良いのかな〜と思いました。
ですが初めて二階建てオープンバスにのりいつもとは違う景色、風の心地よさ、桜も綺麗でとても良かったです。

It was exciting and very enjoyable! The boatman had fun talks and performances! I think this price for two hours is still quite reasonable.

It was a cloudy day, and it was still a bit early for the cherry blossoms, but listening to the guide's talk made the two hours fly by. It would be wonderful to be able to board again during the autumn foliage season.

曇り空で、桜にはまだ少し早い時期でしたが、先頭さんのお話を聞きながらあっという間の2時間でした。今度は紅葉の時期にまた、乗船できたら最高ですね。

The tour guide was humorous and enjoyable!! We also had a delicious lunch in Shirakawa-go! Gokayama was very quiet... but I don't think I could move there. The washi paper-making experience was great! I had a rich day of travel.
