I participated with my daughter, who graduated from elementary school this year, and her friend's family. The kids had visited the same place a few months ago for a school trip, but due to bad weather, they couldn't enjoy sightseeing, so we decided to revisit. Spring in Kyoto is crowded, and we were delayed in arriving compared to our planned time, but it was definitely easier than searching for parking while traveling in our private car. Above all, our tour guide, Hama-san, was always smiling and very kind. The guidance was easy to understand and it was excellent! Rather than wanting to join LIMON again, I want to ride on Hama-san's bus! We had a great trip. Thank you.

今年小学校を卒業した娘と、その友達親子で参加しました。
子供達は数ヶ月前に同じ場所へ修学旅行で来ていますが、その時は悪天候でゆっくり観光できず、ずっと悔んでいたので再訪しました。
春の京都は混雑しており、予定時間より到着が遅れたりはありましたが、自家用車で駐車場を探しながらの旅よりも断然楽でした。なによりも、添乗員のハマさんが常に笑顔でとても親切でした。案内も分かりやすく、最高でした！またLIMONに参加したいというよりは、ハマさんのバスに乗りたいです！

It's a trip where you can experience traditional Japanese culture. Kumamoto Castle, Aso, and Kurokawa Onsen are all wonderful! However, it was a bit disappointing that there were mostly Chinese tourists, and it was somewhat noisy.

日本の伝統的文化に触れられる旅です。
熊本城、阿蘇、黒川温泉はどれも素晴らしい❗
ただ、中国人の人達がほとんどで、若干騒がしかったのが残念でした。

I expected that the guide would cater to both foreigners and Japanese people based on everyone's experiences, but most of the guidance was in English. They do provide the necessary parts in Japanese, but since it was my first time in Kyoto, I was disappointed that I expected more guidance in Japanese. The guide seemed concerned, asking if it was okay since it was a tour for foreigners. I got the impression that the guide was making an effort to provide explanations in Japanese as well. It was good that we were able to visit various popular spots, as we wouldn't have been able to do so efficiently on our own.

皆さんの体験談から、外国の方と日本人の両方向けにガイドしてくれると思っていましたが、英語での案内が大部分を占めていました。最低限の必要な部分は日本語でも案内してくれます。
初めての京都でしたので、もっと日本語でも案内してくれるものだと期待していたので残念でした。
ガイドの方にも外国人向けのツアーですが、大丈夫ですか？といった感じで心配されました。
ガイドさんも気を遣って、頑張って日本語の案内もしてくださっていた印象です。
自分たちだけでは人気スポットを効率よく観光する事はできなかったので、色々回れたことは良かったです。

Despite the rain, I had a great time thanks to the guide's entertaining stories and the driver's excellent driving.

As others have mentioned, the guide was a Chinese woman. Even after the meeting time had passed, there was no explanation, and we finally moved to the bus about 15 minutes later. Inside the bus, she provided a brief explanation using a tablet. Since I had brought a guidebook, she explained using that map. This tour did not include meals, so it was nice to have the freedom to eat at Takayama Ramen (near the bus stop) and use our time freely. It was snowing in Shirakawa-go, which added to the charm. I was able to enjoy my two hours of free time by buying water pudding as a souvenir and visiting Wada House.

他の方が書かれているように、ガイドさんは中国人の女性でした。集合時間が過ぎても何の説明も無く、15分ほど過ぎてようやくバスに移動。バスの中で簡単な説明をタブレットを使ってしてくれます。私はガイドブックを持参していたので、その地図で説明してくれました。このツアーは食事がついていないので、高山ラーメン(バスの停車場近く)で食べたり自由に時間を使えて良かったです。白川郷では雪が降っていて、風情があって良かったです。水プリンをお土産に買ったり、和田家を見学したり2時間の自由時間で結構楽しめました。

I was worried about the snow from the previous day, but thankfully it cleared up on the day itself! Thanks to that, I was able to see the snowy scenery of Shirakawa-go during this season. Of course, the guide was very articulate and easy to understand, making it a satisfying day.

そのおかげでこの時期なのに雪景色の白川郷を見ることが出来ました^_^もちろんガイドの方もすごく話しが上手で分かりやすく満足な1日でした。

The sightseeing time was very well considered... I was able to fully enjoy the places I wanted to visit in Kyoto‼️

What was disappointing was that for lunch... I had ordered the tofu set meal, but everyone on the bus had the tempura set meal.

But! Everyone on the bus was very gentlemanly, and I had a very meaningful day! I am grateful! Thank you very much!

There was someone who wrote about this experience before, and anyway, the meeting place is hard to find... It seems that nothing has improved since it was written before. I would like it to be made clear at a glance that this is the meeting place.

以前、この体験談で書かれていた方がいましたが とにかく集合場所が分かりにくい... 以前 書かれていた時から全く改善されていないようでした。一目でここが集合場所と分かるようにして欲しいです。
バスツアーの方は添乗員さんの対応も良く大満足でした。

I joined Maria's tour with an American who was visiting Kyoto for the first time. It seemed challenging to guide in both Japanese and English, but it was very informative and I was extremely satisfied. If you were to explore on your own, you wouldn't be able to cover this much in a day, so I think it's a well-structured plan for first-time visitors to Kyoto. However, for those who want to take their time, revisiting on a separate day might be a good option. I definitely want to recommend this to my friends.

京都初めてのアメリカ人と一緒にマリアさんのツアーに参加しました。
日本語と英語両方でガイドされて大変そうでしたが、とてもinformative で大満足でした。個人だと１日でここまでまわれないので、京都初めての人にはとても良く構成されたプランだと思います。ただ、ゆっくり周りたい方は個別で後日に再訪もアリかな、と思います。友達にもぜひおすすめしたいです。

It was mostly a bus tour, so we were able to depart and arrive on time, and I enjoyed it without any issues. However, the dryness on the bus was severe, and my throat started to hurt. I was wearing a mask, but it was still quite dry, so I wished there was a way to improve that.

ほぼバスだけのツアーだったので、時間通りに発着できたし、問題なく楽しめました。
バスの乾燥がひどく、喉が痛くなりました。マスクをしていましたが、それでも結構な乾燥だったので、どうにかなればなーと思いました。

This tour included lunch and allowed for a three-hour stay in Shirakawa-go. Given the size of Shirakawa-go, a three-hour visit was just right, and if you don't have enough time to see everything, returning in a different season is also a good option (I actually had the same tour in the summer before).

このツアーは昼食付で白川郷に３時間いられるツアーだった。白川郷の広さからして3時間滞在はちょうどよかったし、もし見るのに時間が足りなければ違う季節でまた再訪するというのも一つの手である(実際に以前夏に同じツアーでお世話になったため。)

The weather was favorable, and all the activities went smoothly. The tour guide's instructions and explanations were very clear, which was great. I was with my third-grade child, but we were able to enjoy the schedule without any strain. Additionally, having the Kyoto tofu meal made lunchtime enjoyable as well. We were able to move around without wasting time, making it a fulfilling day. I would like to participate again.

お天気にも恵まれ、すべての行程が滞りなく進みました。添乗員さんの案内や説明もとても分かりやすくてよかったです。小学３年生の子供連れでしたが、無理のないスケジュールで楽しめました。また、京豆腐御膳つきにしたことで、お昼も楽しめました。時間のロスなくまわることができ、充実した一日でした。また参加したいです。

I signed up because I could go to Shirakawa-go and Takayama. The only regret I have is that I was in line for ramen in Takayama but ran out of time and had to give it up. I had some extra time in Shirakawa-go, so I wish I could have spent a little more time in Takayama.

白川郷と飛騨高山に行けるということで申し込みました。
飛騨高山で行列に並んでいたが時間切れでラーメンを断念したのが唯一の心残りです。白川郷では時間が余ったのでその分、飛騨高山でもう少し時間があればよかった。

I participated from outside the prefecture. Since I wasn't familiar with the geography, the transportation was a great help. I was surprised to see many foreign participants who boarded the bus wet without using an umbrella or left their wet umbrellas in the luggage compartment. The tour guide was very kind, and I was happy that they provided directions when I had to leave and use the train. The driver also drove safely. I would like to use this service again if the opportunity arises. Thank you very much.

県外からの参加でした。地理も分からなかったので移動が大変助かりました。参加者の中には外国人の方が多く、傘をささずに濡れたままバスに乗り込む方や濡れた傘を荷台にそのまま置かれる方もいらっしゃったので驚きました。添乗員の方がとても親切で、途中、離脱して電車を利用する時も道案内をして下さり嬉しかったです。運転手の方も安全運転でした。また機会がありました時には利用したいと思います。有難うございました。

Since I came to Japan for sightseeing from Colombia, I definitely wanted to experience a World Heritage site, so I participated. There were many Asian tourists, and I was one of the few Japanese people there. Shirakawa-go is indeed very popular in the Asian region! My friend had only seen snow a few times, so they were amazed by the climate and scenery. Although most of the thatched roofs were nearly free of snow, it was snowing on the day of our visit, and it was quite cold. Some people were dressed in a way that looked cold, so I felt like I was shivering every time we passed by each other. There were also areas where the snow had melted and the ground was muddy, so I think it's better to wear waterproof and comfortable shoes.

The free time at both spots was two hours, which was just the right amount of time for sightseeing, eating, and shopping. Everyone kept to the schedule, and I think the event went smoothly. The staff were kind and provided explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and they distributed pamphlets, which was very thoughtful.

コロンビアから日本に観光しに来てくれたので、ぜひ世界遺産をと思い、参加しました。アジア系の観光客が多く、日本人は私くらいでした。さすがアジア圏に大人気な白川郷ですね！！友人は雪を数えるほどしか見たことがなかったため気候、風景全てに感動していました。合掌造りの屋根はほぼ雪が溶けていましたが、当日は雪が降っておりかなり寒かったです。寒そうな格好をしている方もいたので、すれ違うたびにこちらが震えそうでした。雪が溶けて、土が沼っているところもあったので、防水であったり、動きやすい靴の方がいいと思います。
自由時間は両スポットとも2時間で観光+食べ歩き+買い物でちょうどいい時間でした。皆さん時間も守っており、スムーズに催行されたと思います。スタッフの方は優しく、日本語、英語、中国語で説明しており、パンフレットを配布したりなど親身で良かったです。

I went on a sightseeing trip to the snowy Shirakawa-go for the first time. Since public transportation is inconvenient for one person, I signed up for a day trip bus tour from Nagoya. It was through Veltra, and it seemed to be a tour aimed at inbound customers, as I was the only Japanese person on the bus along with the driver (the rest were from China, Hong Kong, and South Korea). I felt a bit lonely before departure, but the tour guide (from China) was very considerate towards me, so I was able to enjoy the sightseeing with peace of mind. It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much, tour guide.

初めて雪の白川郷に観光に行きました。１人だと交通が不便なので名古屋からに日帰りバスツアーに申込みしました。
ベルトラ経由だったのですがインバウンドのお客様向けのツアーだったようで、バスの中の日本人は私と運転手さんだけだったので（残りは中国、香港、韓国の方）発車前は心細い思いをしましたが、添乗員さん（中国の方）が私にとても気を遣ってくださったので、安心して観光ができました。
とても楽しかったです。

It was great to see various sights on the bus tour. The explanations were provided in both English and Japanese, and there were some funny talks, which made it enjoyable. The food was good, and the dessert was the most delicious. I made wonderful memories of my trip to Kyoto.

My wife and I came to Tokyo to run the marathon and had limited time available to sightsee. This tour hit so many items on our hit list and the conductors were so knowledgeable about the history of the places. The only downside is that we wish we had more time to explore some of the places like the temples and the imperial gardens, but I understand with all the places we needed to get in that just wasn't possible. The only thing I might change is the cruise part since there just wasn't much to see on the cruise and the tour guides couldn't really talk much during the trip because there were other passengers not from our group. I would have preferred to get additional time at either of the temples. However it was still enjoyable and if we return to Tokyo we would definitely consider doing this tour again.

The guide was easy to understand and kind. I'm glad I was able to participate! If there’s another opportunity, I would appreciate it.

I was grateful for the tour guide who explained in both English and Japanese since my husband is American! It was very easy and convenient to visit a wide range of sightseeing spots by bus. The tofu lunch was also delicious. Since there is quite a bit of walking, comfortable shoes are a must. Even though it was the off-season, there were still a lot of tourists, and it was quite crowded, so choosing the bus tour was the right decision.

主人がアメリカ人なので、英語と日本語両方で説明して下さる添乗員の方が有り難かった！　広い範囲の観光名所をバスで周れるので、とにかく簡単で楽ちんでした。　お昼のお豆腐ランチも美味しかった。　結構歩くので歩きやすい靴は必須。　オフシーズンでしたが、それでも観光客がとても多くて、ゴチャゴチャしてますのでバスツアーにして正解でした。　

It was a good tour.
However, the meeting point was shared with various tour companies, which made it very confusing.
The tour company name listed in the itinerary sent by email was different from the one on the flag held by the guide, and the guide only had a guest list and a flag, without a large sign indicating the destination.
Although the weather was not favorable, Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go were very nice.
The guide's announcements on the bus were polite and easy to understand.
All the participants were also on time for the bus meeting, which went smoothly.

でも、集合場所はいろいろなツアー会社の集合場所になっていて、とてもわかりにくかったです。
メールで送られた日程表に書かれているツアー会社名と、ガイドさんが持っている旗は別物だったし、ガイドさんが持っていたのは客の名簿と旗だけで、行き先を大きく書いた案内も持っていなかったから。
お天気には恵まれませんでしたが、飛騨高山と白川郷はとてもよかったです。
バス内のガイドさんの案内は丁寧でわかりやすかったです。
参加しているお客さんも、だれもバスの集合時間に遅れることなくスムーズでした。

ツアーは非常によく組織されており、訪れた場所は素晴らしいです！

This is a great tour for those who want to quickly explore in just one day. Anyway, Kyoto is very crowded, so utilizing a tour is a good option.

時間がなく一日でさっと回りたい人にはいいツアーです。とにかく京都は人が多いので、ツアーの活用も一つの手段として良いです。

They can also hold your suitcase, so I think it's a good idea to participate even on the last day of your trip. You can visit four tourist spots, making for a very fulfilling day.

スーツケースなども預かって頂けるので旅行最終日なのに参加してみるのも良いと思います。
観光地を4ヶ所も回れるのですごく充実した1日になります。

It was the middle of a three-day weekend, and the only sunny day in Kyoto. This was my second bus tour in Kyoto, a luxurious tour visiting four locations. I had been to these places before, but I participated again because I wanted to go back.

At Fushimi Inari, I went through the torii gates a little and then checked out the souvenir shops on the back path. I also bought a "key charm for achievement," which features a key held by a fox. After finishing our sightseeing, we gathered on the path. Then, we all walked to the bus meeting point, but we got delayed for about 20 minutes because the crossing was closed, which made me anxious. Since everyone was together, the path was indeed the correct meeting point.

Once we arrived at Kiyomizu-dera, we had lunch right away. We had chosen a plan that included a Kyoto yudofu meal, so we could eat as soon as we sat down. It was extremely crowded, so opting for lunch was definitely the right choice. The view from Kiyomizu-dera was amazing.

Kinkaku-ji also had great weather and a wonderful view. We felt like we had a bit of extra time, which was nice.

At Arashiyama, we were a bit short on time. The guide took us to the bamboo grove, but during my last visit to Kyoto, I spent too much time in the bamboo grove and missed out on seeing and shopping on the main street of Arashiyama, so this time I quickly looked at the bamboo and returned. It was so crowded that I thought having two hours for sightseeing would be good. We crossed the Togetsukyo Bridge and then headed back to the bus meeting point. Managing time in Arashiyama was challenging.

There were also foreign visitors, but the guide explained everything thoroughly. I wondered if the foreign guests would be able to keep to the schedule, but their manners were good.

三連休真ん中、唯一晴れの京都でした。
京都のバスツアーは、2回目。4箇所回る贅沢ツアー。4箇所行ったことがあったけど、また行きたいという思いから参加をしました。
稲荷伏見は、鳥居を少しくぐって戻り、裏参道のお土産屋さんを見ました。また、「達成のかぎ守」を購入。狐がくわえている鍵を買いました。観光し終わったら、参道に集合。その後、みなさんでバス集合場所まで歩くのですが、踏み切りが開かずの間になり20分くらいかかり焦りました。みなさん一緒だったので集合場所は、参道が正解ですね。
清水寺についたら、すぐにランチ。私たちは、京湯豆腐御膳付きプランにしていたので、席に着いたらすぐに食べることができました。ものすごく混んでいるので、ランチ付きにして正解でした。清水寺からみた景色は最高でした。
金閣寺も、天気がよく、とても素晴らしい景色。ちょっと時間が余った感じでしたが、良かったです。
最後の嵐山は、時間がたりないくらい。ガイドさんが竹林まで案内してくれましたが、前回京都にきた時、竹林に時間をかけすぎて、嵐山のメイン通りで見たり買ったり出来ず残念だったので、竹林はサクッと見て戻りました。とにかく混んでて2時間観光時間があってもいいかなと思うくらい。とりあえず、渡月橋も渡って見て、バス集合場所まで戻りました。時間配分が難しい嵐山でした。
外国の方もいらっしゃい増したが、ガイドさんが丁寧に説明されていたし、また外国の方、時間厳守できるのかな？と思いましたが、マナーも良かったです。

Everyone who participated was punctual, the guide was calm and enjoyable, the lunch was delicious, and we were able to purchase various souvenirs. All of these factors combined made the visit to Shirakawa-go and Gokayama even more enjoyable. Although there were no snow-covered roofs like in previous years, the charming scenery and the quiet falling snow made for a delightful day of sightseeing. Thank you very much.

参加された方がみなさん時刻に正確な方々だったこと、添乗してくださったガイドさんが穏やかで楽しい方だったこと、お昼ご飯が美味しかったこと、色々なお土産を購入できたこと、それらが全て組み合わさった上で、白川郷と五箇山の観光がさらに楽しいものとなりました。
例年のような雪のかぶった屋根ではありませんでしたが、趣のある景色、しずかな中降る雪に、楽しい観光の一日となりました。どうもありがとうございました。

The tour consisted mainly of people from China besides us. The bus guide primarily spoke in Chinese, but communicated the meeting times and locations in Japanese. When the bus guide was speaking, I used a translation app to translate the Chinese and follow along. I was a bit anxious because of reviews mentioning a lot of foreign participants, but the bus guide was very nice and helpful.
The restrooms at Daikanbo and Kurokawa Onsen parking areas are not very clean, so I recommend using the restrooms at Kumamoto Castle or inside the ryokan.

ツアーは私たち以外は中国の方でした。バスガイドさんも基本的に中国語で話していましたが、集合時間や場所については日本語で話してくれました。バスガイドさんが話されているときは、翻訳アプリで中国語を翻訳して話を聞きました。外国の方が多いというクチコミがあり、不安でしたが、バスガイドさんがとてもいい人で助かりました。
大観峰や黒川温泉の駐車場のトイレは綺麗ではないので、熊本城や温泉旅館内のトイレの利用をおすすめします。

It was my first time in Shirakawa-go, so participating in a guided tour made me feel very secure. The time spent until our arrival was also informative thanks to the guide, and I had a great time.

However, both Shirakawa-go and Gokayama had longer stay times, which left us with some extra time on our hands. I felt that arriving at Kanazawa Station around 3:30 PM would have been better. This is just our personal impression, and I apologize for that. Other than that, it was an excellent tour that I would recommend to everyone. If I have the chance, I would love to use this service again. Thank you!

初めての白川郷だったので、ガイドさん付きツアーはとても安心して参加できました。到着までの時間もガイドさんの案内で色々勉強になり、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
ただ、白川郷、五箇山ともに、滞在時間が長めにとってあり、私たちには時間を持て余してしまいました。15時30分ころに金沢駅に到着だったらなぁと感じたしだいです。あくまでも私たちの感想です。すみません。そのほかは申し分なく、皆んなにおすすめできるツアーでした。機会があればまた利用させていただきます。ありがとうございました！

I was a bit anxious because there were many foreigners and it seemed like we might have to share tables, but the seat next to me was empty, so I had plenty of space. The guide provided explanations in Chinese, Japanese, and English, and then gave detailed explanations to each table, which was very considerate. Perhaps there were fewer Japanese participants? I appreciated how they took the time to teach us various things. It was also nice that the driver was a woman and drove safely.

外国の方も多いのと相席になる事がある様で、少し不安でしたが、隣の席は取られてなく広く使えました。
ガイドさんの説明も中国語、日本語、英語での説明と、その後に各席に説明して丁寧でした。
日本人の参加が少なかったのか？気を遣って色々教えていただき感謝。
運転手も女性で安全運転で良かったです。
