The tour consisted mainly of people from China besides us. The bus guide primarily spoke in Chinese, but communicated the meeting times and locations in Japanese. When the bus guide was speaking, I used a translation app to translate the Chinese and follow along. I was a bit anxious because of reviews mentioning a lot of foreign participants, but the bus guide was very nice and helpful.
The restrooms at Daikanbo and Kurokawa Onsen parking areas are not very clean, so I recommend using the restrooms at Kumamoto Castle or inside the ryokan.

Dazaifu was also very nice, but since there was hardly any time to stay in Beppu Onsen, I wish there had been a tour that focused only on Yufuin and Beppu Onsen! The guide was from China, and they were polite and good!

I made sure to confirm the meeting time every time and participated alone. The driver was Japanese, and the guide spoke three languages, which was a relief. During lunch, I met someone from my hometown who had their trip postponed due to snow the day before, and we agreed that we should travel while we are still able to move!

Although the lunch provided on the tour often differed from the photos, I was surprised to find that it even included alcohol for such a reasonable price. There were some areas of the walking path at Takachiho Gorge under construction due to the typhoon, and I mistakenly thought we could ride the shuttle bus multiple times. My companion and I ended up getting on a different tour bus. I felt that it would have been better if the guide had explained, "We will meet here at this time to take the shuttle bus back to the bus area." 高千穂峡の遊歩道が台風の影響で工事中の箇所あり、シャトルバスは何度も乗れるかと勘違いして違うツアーのバスに2人で乗ってしまったので、ガイドさんと歩き解散する場所で「ここに何時何分に集合してシャトルバスに乗ってバスの所まで送って貰う」と説明が良いと感じました。あと音楽をイヤホンなしで聞いてる女性.2回集合時間を守らない方がいて、バス乗る時に謝りの言葉なく当然という感じだったので「日本では集合時間に遅れたら置いて行く！」と初めにきつく伝えるべきかなと思います。遊歩道の工事完了後にまた行きたいと思います。

There were only my daughter and me as Japanese participants. Aside from one family from an English-speaking country, the rest were users from Chinese-speaking regions, but we had more than enough fun.

The guide was trilingual and always followed up with me and another group who didn't understand Chinese in Japanese and English, so I was able to trust the tour completely and feel at ease.

The timing was just right, and I enjoyed the peace of mind that comes with a bus tour. It was very helpful that they shared local specialties and recommendations.

Some people might feel a bit hesitant about mingling with foreigners, but I had a great time, so I highly recommend it.

I applied for this tour after learning that I could visit Shirakawa-go, which I had always wanted to see, on a day trip from Nagoya. It seemed to be a popular tour as it was fully booked, and the tour guide sat in the auxiliary seat next to the driver.

Most of the participants were from China, with a few others from different countries, and there were only a few Japanese people. The tour guide provided explanations in Japanese, Chinese, and English, which was reassuring with their polite and fluent Japanese.

The itinerary included about two hours in Takayama and two hours of free time in Shirakawa-go, which was nice as there was a decent amount of time for exploration despite it being a longer trip. The snowy streets of Takayama were very lovely! It was drizzling in Shirakawa-go, but the snowy scenery from the observation deck was magnificent, making it feel like I was wandering through a fairy tale, fulfilling my dream. I think this is a great tour for travelers with limited time, allowing them to compactly explore Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go!

行程は、高山で2時間ぐらい、白川郷で2時間ぐらいの自由時間で、遠出の割には散策の時間もまあまああって良かったです。
雪の舞い散る高山の街はとても素敵でした！白川郷では小雨でしたが、展望台からの雪景色も素晴らしく、御伽の国を散策しているみたいで夢が叶いました。あまり時間がない旅行者が、コンパクトに飛騨高山、白川郷を巡れる良いツアーだと思います！

As everyone has mentioned, this is a tour aimed at foreign visitors from Asia. Since it's a day trip to Takachiho, there’s no wasted time, and we don’t stop at souvenir shops, which allows us to fully enjoy the local experience. There were three Japanese people, including myself and a friend. Most of the participants were from Taiwan, and Chinese was the main language spoken, but important points and simple explanations were provided in Japanese for the three of us. The driver also engaged with us during breaks, which was reassuring. The foreign participants were very quiet, and it seemed that everyone had signed up individually, which was polite. It was a strange experience to have a guide speaking Chinese in Japan. The meals were good, and there were no people drinking alcohol, which helped keep us on schedule. Since it’s quite a walking tour, wearing comfortable sneakers is advisable. I would love to participate again. Thank you to the guide and driver on January 17th.

I wanted to visit Takachiho Gorge and the surrounding shrines, but I was considering how inconvenient transportation would be without a car. Then I found this tour, which had a great schedule and content, so I decided to join.

Although it was an inbound tour, the guide was knowledgeable about Japanese language and history, and was very friendly. I participated alone, but I was able to chat along the way and really enjoyed the tour.

For lunch, we ate at a charming restaurant with a thatched roof, serving a variety of beautiful and delicious dishes, which left me very satisfied!

Takachiho Gorge had a stunning contrast between the deep green water and the waterfalls. I had seen many photos, but the power and grandeur that can only be experienced on-site was truly moving.

The last stop, Amano Iwato Shrine, was a place I really wanted to visit. It was a very clean and pure location, and just being there and praying felt like it cleared my heart!

インバウンド向けのツアーではありましたが、ガイドさんも日本語や歴史に精通していてとても気さくな方で、1人で参加しましたが道中お話させて頂いて楽しくツアーを回る事ができて楽しかったです。

ランチも茅葺き屋根の建物がある雰囲気のあるご飯屋さんで、品数が多く見栄えのする美味しいご飯で大満足でした！

高千穂峡は深い深緑の水の色合いと滝のコントラストが見事で、写真では散々見ましたが現地でないと体感出来ない迫力や壮大さがあって大感動。

最後の天岩戸神社は本当に行きたかった所で、とても空気のキレイな清浄な場所で伺って祈るだけで心が現れる様でした！

とても楽しかったので、同じコースでもう一回参加したいくらいです。楽しく感動的な思い出を有難うございました！

As soon as I checked my email, I realized I had come too early and spent some time in the station. After that, I was able to board the bus at the correct meeting time. I didn't confirm enough, but it seems the tour I participated in was aimed at Chinese tourists, as the guide's explanations were in Chinese. Therefore, the explanations in Japanese were minimal, and I wasn't fully satisfied with the experience. Since Japanese was the third language for me, that aspect reduced my enjoyment.

I had prepared myself for a one-star experience, but it turned out to be just fine. The main language was Chinese, and all the explanations were in that language as well, but I had checked the websites of the places we visited, so it was totally okay not to understand everything. As long as I knew the meeting place and time, it was no different from a Japanese tour.
