I was very satisfied as all the highlights of Abashiri were included, and I could also see the drifting ice. It’s quite challenging to book a ticket for the Aurora individually, but that was included as well. The guide explained everything clearly and efficiently.

We boarded the Aurora icebreaker, visited the drift ice center, toured the Abashiri Prison, enjoyed a delicious lunch, took the drift ice train, and visited Cape Notoro. It was a very packed itinerary, and we were able to travel efficiently and safely. Both the guide and the driver were very pleasant.

The guide and driver were lucky people, and we were able to see the drift ice perfectly without any crowds at all the sightseeing spots. I thoroughly enjoyed the best bus tour. The lunch was also wonderful.

As for the participation fee, I think it's cheap since it includes all the costs. It's hard to make a reservation for the Aurora, so I believe that alone is worth it.

Even though it was 36 degrees Celsius and we were in a vehicle without windows, I didn't feel hot at all. First, we traveled through Yokohama city by land. The explanations about the history and buildings were fascinating, and the story of the three towers was particularly impressive. The moment we slid into the sea was more powerful than I expected! Everyone cheered. The view of Minato Mirai from the sea is as beautiful as in the brochure photos. Near the Red Brick Warehouse, we had a moment to make wishes while seeing all three towers that are said to grant wishes. Since we were near Marine Tower, we were lucky enough to hear the deep noon whistle from the Hikawa Maru. When I returned to Kansai and shared this story, many people who didn't know about the Sky Duck were envious. I highly recommend that everyone experience it at least once!

気温36度で窓のない車両ですが暑さは感じませんでした。
まずは横浜市街を陸路で走行。

マリンタワー近くに停泊している氷川丸からは、タイミングが良かったので、重厚な正午の汽笛を聞くことが出来ました。
関西に帰りこの話をすると、スカイダックを知らない人多数で羨ましがられました。

I found this on a website and since I had never been on an amphibious bus before, I decided to give it a try.

We started by driving through the city, and then we entered the sea. The splash of water at the moment we entered (just a little) was amazing on a sunny day.

From the sea, we could see Yamashita Park and the Minato Mirai area, offering a different view of Yokohama. There were flying fish jumping in the sea, which was also nice to see.

They seemed accustomed to humans and appeared to be observing us and playing, so I didn't feel any fear. We also encountered a sperm whale, and I was deeply moved by its grandeur. It was a different kind of excitement compared to videos. I heard that there are days when you might not see anything at all, but it seemed we were lucky to see so many orcas.

濃霧でしたが出航、こりゃ何も見られないかなと期待薄でしたが霧の中から鯱の群れが現れ、船員さんのテクニックによりすごく近くまで寄って下さり、3mくらいの距離てシャチを見られました！シャチの方も慣れているのか、人間を観察して遊んでいる感じで、恐怖心は感じませんでした。マッコウクジラにも出会えて、その雄大さに感動しきりでした。動画とかとは違う感動でした。全く出会え無い日も有るとの事でしたが、シャチがウジャウジャいる様子が見られ、ラッキーだったようです。

I rode on the Sky Duck for the first time this time. Until then, I had visited Yokohama many times, but the initial drive through Yokohama was very refreshing, and the view of Yokohama from a high perspective was quite new.

It was a 10-minute city tour drive, and the bus guide explained Yokohama's history and attractions in an easy-to-understand manner, sharing even some niche information about Yokohama.

Moreover, the moment we entered the water was more powerful than I had imagined. The waves were calm that day, so there was no swaying, and I didn't feel nauseous. I have party of 3, went to Asakusa Nitenmon, saw no sign of Mizube cruise, ask the shop around there and told us go to the river band, finally found the ship after running from Asakusa temple Nitenmon to river band along with two other people also booked the same cruise line, the Japanese asked why we were not exchange for actual ticket in really rude manner, of course he finally let us on the ship but made us really mad. four out of five of us are Chinese so we can read Chinese characters and I can read Katakana too, your company lack of signs to follow by the intersecton of the police box which the pier is further down the river bank. Please tell him to control his temper.

また、前日に3時間くらいのスコールがあり、海の中が見えるか不安でしたが、当日は晴れていたこともあり、クリアに見れました(^^)子供たちも楽しんでおり、非常に満足です❣️
