You can efficiently visit the tourist attractions in Abashiri by bus. Personally, I was most looking forward to the Aurora boat tour, but since there were no drift ice and the view from the boat wasn't great, I wished I could have skipped it and spent more time at the Abashiri Prison. However, since it was a tour, it couldn't be helped. The lunch buffet was delicious and satisfying! The guide and the driver were also very kind. I want to come back next year for a revenge tour of the drift ice.

バスで網走の観光名所を効率的に観光できます。
個人的に1番楽しみにしていたおーろら号は流氷がなく、船からの景色が良いわけではなかったので、スキップして網走監獄をもう少しゆっくり見たかったと思いましたが、ツアーなので仕方ないですね。
昼食のバイキングは美味しくて満足でした！ガイドさん、運転手さんも親切でした。
また来年流氷のリベンジをしたいです。

Guide came to pick us right on time. We had four in our party. We throughly enjoyed all the places of interest on the schedule especially the drift ice cruise which was the highlight since guide said that the day before some cruises were canceled due to no drift ice. Great deal for the bucks on this tour. Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to see lots in a day without planning your transportation to all the places especially in this wintery weather

I arrived before the meeting time, but no one was there, which made me a bit anxious. On the day of the experience, the waves were high, so we couldn't go into the cave and ended up doing a tour instead. Some people might find the foreign-style jokes funny, but I felt they were a bit loud, and because of the jokes, it was hard for me to understand the Japanese.

集合時間前に着いたが、誰もいなくてちょっと不安だった。体験した日は波が高くて洞窟にはいけないということで周遊になった。外国人特有のギャグが、面白いと思う人もいるかもしれないけれど、私にとっては少しうるさいと感じたし、ギャグのせいで日本語が聞き取りづらかった。

I was lucky to be able to see the drift ice. It felt great to watch as we moved over the ice from the ship.

The Abashiri Prison was also very interesting, but there wasn't enough time.

It's a great tour packed with sightseeing spots in Abashiri. However, it felt a bit rushed because it was too packed, so I think it would have been even better if there had been an additional 1 to 2 hours with the same content.

運が良く、流氷を見ることができました。
船の上から氷の上を進んでいくのは見ていて気持ちよかったです。

網走監獄もとても面白かった分、時間が足りなかったです。

網走の観光スポットをぎゅっと詰め込んだ良いツアーです。
ただ、詰め込みすぎて終始急ぎ足感があったので同じ内容であと1〜2時間プラスであったらなおよかったと思いました。

I went to the Sea of Okhotsk to see the drift ice, but there was none. It seems that the period when the drift ice comes has become shorter. The temperature was also high, and there was no snow, so it was just a sightseeing boat.

流氷を見にオホーツクの海に行きましたが流氷は無しでした。流氷が来る期間が短く成っているようです。気温も高く雪も無く、ただの遊覧船でした。

I prepared for complete cold protection, but the weather was really nice and warm (even though the highest temperature was 1 degree). Unfortunately, I couldn't see the drift ice ⤵️. However, thanks to the good weather, the Shiretoko mountain range looked incredibly beautiful, so that was nice in its own way.

For lunch, I didn't have high expectations for the buffet, but it turned out to be quite delicious. As expected from Hokkaido, the seafood and potatoes were perfect👌. The tour guide and the driver were also very polite, and if I have the opportunity again, I would like to sign up for other tours as well.

完全防寒をして挑んだものの、凄くいい天気で暖かいのもあり(それでも最高気温1度とか)、流氷は見れずでした⤵️でも天気が良かったおかげで、知床連山が凄く綺麗に見え、それはそれで良かったのかなぁと。
昼はバイキングで期待してませんでしたが、なかなか美味しかったです。さすが北海道、海鮮とじゃがいもバッチリでした👌
添乗員さんや運転手さんも丁寧で、また機会がありましたら、他のツアーでも申し込んでみたいと思います。

Actually, the evening before this tour, I went on a private ice floe ship called the Aurora to see the drifting ice, so I honestly debated whether to cancel this tour. However, to conclude, I'm glad I went; it was incredibly fun. Even without considering the fact that I got to see the drifting ice and the good weather, this was the best bus tour I've ever been on.

First of all, the bus driver and the tour guide were both very nice people. I had a great time throughout the trip. The lunch was a buffet at a local izakaya, with a wide variety of homemade dishes that tasted great, and I was delighted to have gelato from a famous local shop. The timing was just right for us, allowing us to buy snacks and souvenirs along the way. I'm really glad I didn't cancel. We felt it was worth more than the price we paid. I am very satisfied.

実はこのツアーの前日の夕方、個人で流氷船オーロラ号に乗って流氷を見てしまったので、このツアーは正直キャンセルするか悩みました。しかし、結論から言うと行って良かった、最高に楽しかったです。流氷が見れたこと、お天気に恵まれたことを差し引いても、今までのバスツアーで一番です。まずバスの運転手さん、バスガイドさんのお人柄がとても良かったです。終始楽しく過ごせました。ランチは地元居酒屋さんでのバイキングで、品数も多く手作りで味も良く、地元有名店のジェラートもあり嬉しかったです。時間配分も私たちにはちょうど良く、途中でおやつを買ったりお土産を買ったりも出来ました。キャンセルしないで本当に良かった。私たちにはお値段以上の価値が感じられました。大満足です。

The kindness of the guide and the driver, no one was late for the meeting time, and we were able to see the drift ice (which had just returned the day before). We efficiently toured the winter tourist spots and even enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was the best trip to Abashiri! Thank you to the guide who taught us so many things and to the driver who calmly handled various troubles. I will promote the people around Abashiri tourism!

I was very satisfied as all the highlights of Abashiri were included, and I could also see the drifting ice. It’s quite challenging to book a ticket for the Aurora individually, but that was included as well. The guide explained everything clearly and efficiently.

It was thrilling and amazing to enter the sea from the land. I enjoyed seeing the scenery from an angle that can only be viewed from the water. I also think the sunset time is beautiful.

陸から海に入る時に迫力があって最高でした。海からしか見れない角度から景色が見れて楽しかったです。夕日の時間帯なども綺麗と思います。

We boarded the Aurora icebreaker, visited the drift ice center, toured the Abashiri Prison, enjoyed a delicious lunch, took the drift ice train, and visited Cape Notoro. It was a very packed itinerary, and we were able to travel efficiently and safely. Both the guide and the driver were very pleasant.

流氷砕氷船オーロラ号乗船と流氷センター見学、網走監獄見学、美味しい昼食、流氷列車、能取岬。とっても盛りだくさんで、効率良く安心安全に旅することができました。ガイドさんも運転手さんも、すごく感じが良かったです。

The guide and driver were lucky people, and we were able to see the drift ice perfectly without any crowds at all the sightseeing spots. I thoroughly enjoyed the best bus tour. The lunch was also wonderful.

As for the participation fee, I think it's cheap since it includes all the costs. It's hard to make a reservation for the Aurora, so I believe that alone is worth it.

ガイドさん、ドライバーさんが運をもっている人で、流氷がバッチリ見られて、全ての見学場所においても混雑なしで見学をすることができました。
最高のバスツアーを満喫できました。
ランチの内容も素晴らしかったです。

参加費ですが、すべての料金込みなので安いと思います。
オーロラ号は個人ではなかなか予約がとれませんので、それだけでも価値はあると思います。

The ship is large and extremely stable. The underwater observation room in the hull offers an experience that surpasses that of an aquarium. I was able to fully enjoy the coral reefs and the fish spread out on the seabed.

船は大きく、安定感抜群。艦底の海中展望室は、水族館以上の臨場感。海底にひろがる珊瑚礁と魚たちを存分に観ることができました。

It was drizzling, but we were able to enjoy ourselves without getting wet. When we entered and exited the water, it was thrilling, and the kids were excited about an experience they rarely get to have.

小雨の中でしたが濡れることもなく楽しめました。水に入る時、上がる時は迫力があり子どもも滅多にできない体験に興奮していました。

On the day of the trip, perhaps due to the strong winds, visibility was at level 2, which means "not very visible." I didn't have high expectations because of this, but when we arrived at the spot and the feeding began, I was pleasantly surprised by how much we could see. I would like to come back on a clearer day. The crew members were very polite, and although the boat rocked due to the strong winds, we were able to finish the trip safely.

当日は風が強いせいか、見え方はレベル2の「あまり見えない」でした。
これはしょうがないので、期待していませんでしたがポイントに着いてエサやりが始まると思っていたより見えて良かったです。
ハッキリ見える日にまた来てみたいと思いました。
とても丁寧な船員さんでしたし、強風で船は揺れましたが安全に終えられました。

I participated in this private sailing experience because I had the opportunity to try it out. While I often have experiences with motorized yachts, I had never sailed using just the wind. We moved through the harbor using power, and once we reached the open sea, the real sailing began. After being taught how to steer while watching the wind direction and speed instruments, I was allowed to take the helm if I wanted. Since the boat tilts and sways with the wind, those who are prone to seasickness should be cautious.

プライベートでセーリング体験ができるとのことで参加しました。動力でのヨット体験はよくありますが、風だけで進むセーリングは経験がありませんでした。ハーバーの中は動力で進み、外海に出てから本格的なセーリングの開始です。風向きや風速の計器を見ながら操縦することなどを教えてもらった後、希望があればその操縦をさせてもらえます。風を受けるので傾きますし、揺れますので船酔いしやすい人は注意が必要です。

I participated with my third-grade son. It was a very valuable experience. The power of the tuna is worth seeing at least once. My son seemed very happy to eat the fish he caught himself. We also learned about ocean waste by seeing it firsthand. I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

小学3年生の息子と2人で参加しました。とても貴重な体験をしました。まぐろの迫力は、一見の価値ありです。息子は自分で釣った魚を食べられたことも嬉しかったようです。海洋ゴミについても実際に目にすることにより勉強させられました。

The weather was clear and warm. They took care of our luggage at the office. The tour guides were all very kind. The guide was great at telling stories! I was in the front row when we dove, so I got excited and shouted when I saw the splashes hitting the windshield. Depending on the wind direction, you might get a little wet. It was an hour that flew by.

天気晴れ。気温も暖かい。事務所で荷物預かってくれました。添乗員の方もみんな親切でした。ガイドさんの話も上手！ダイブする時最前列だったのでフロントガラスに当たる水しぶきを見て興奮して叫んでしまいました。風向きによっては少しぬれるようですよ。あっという間の1時間でした。

My two girls had a lovely time. We were handed with the ride detail in English. Though the instruction during the ride is mostly in Japanese, we enjoyed the tour. The instructor was very interactive.

The captain was a foreigner and had a great sense of humor. He stopped the boat several times along the way to explain things while sharing jokes. I think this level of eloquence is something that Japanese captains might not be able to achieve.

Not only did we go to see the Blue Cave, but he also shared many recommended scenic spots with us. He handed us some crackers to feed the seagulls and entertained us with thrilling zigzag driving.

We had a 7-month-old baby with us, and the captain frequently turned around to check on us, which was very considerate. The baby stayed inside the boat until he got used to it, but on the way back, he seemed fine, so we went outside to feel the wind. The Blue Cave was, of course, incredibly beautiful!

外国人の船長さんで喋りの面白い方でした。途中何度も船を停めてジョークを交えて説明してくれます。
この饒舌さは日本人の船長さんではなかなか出せないんじゃないかと思います。
青の洞窟を観に行くという目的だけじゃなくおすすめの景色をたくさん教えてくれました。
カンパンを手渡してくれてカモメに餌やりをさせてくれたり、スリルある蛇行運転で楽しませてくれました。
0歳7ヶ月の赤ちゃんも一緒に同情しましたが船長さんが何度も振り返って気遣ってくれました。
赤ちゃんが慣れるまでは船内にいましたが帰りは大丈夫そうだったので外に出て風を感じました。
青の洞窟はもちろんとっても綺麗でした！

If you are tourist in Japan will lost the way after getting off from the train.
Because no direction at all to the boat. Many review talking about this but seem doesn`t have any improvement.
The waiting room is too hot on summer

As expected from the famous captain, not only was the talk entertaining, but there was also music playing, which made it an exhilarating experience! The driving was excellent; we didn't bounce on the water, and he skillfully avoided the waves from other boats, providing a thrilling experience that was far from an ordinary cruise. My whole family was very satisfied! Unfortunately, we couldn't enter the Blue Cave due to falling rocks, but we had many more fun experiences than we expected. I want to go again! 名物船長と謳っているだけに、トークもさることながら音楽もかかって、ワクワクが止まりませんでした！そして、運転が上手で、水の上を跳ねないし他の船の波も上手に避けてくれるので、スピード感あって、ありきたりのクルーズ体験とは段違いの非日常体験ができました⭐︎家族全員大満足です！青の洞窟は残念ながら落石の関係で中に入れませんでしたが、それよりもっとたくさんの楽しい体験ができました。また行きたいです！ありがとうございました♪

Even though it was 36 degrees Celsius and we were in a vehicle without windows, I didn't feel hot at all. First, we traveled through Yokohama city by land. The explanations about the history and buildings were fascinating, and the story of the three towers was particularly impressive. The moment we slid into the sea was more powerful than I expected! Everyone cheered. The view of Minato Mirai from the sea is as beautiful as in the brochure photos. Near the Red Brick Warehouse, we had a moment to make wishes while seeing all three towers that are said to grant wishes. Since we were near Marine Tower, we were lucky enough to hear the deep noon whistle from the Hikawa Maru. When I returned to Kansai and shared this story, many people who didn't know about the Sky Duck were envious. I highly recommend that everyone experience it at least once!

気温36度で窓のない車両ですが暑さは感じませんでした。
まずは横浜市街を陸路で走行。
歴史や建物の説明など興味深く、特に三塔物語が印象的でした。
海に滑り込む瞬間は思った以上の迫力！皆さん歓声をあげてました。
海からみるみなとみらいはパンフレット写真のように素敵です。
赤レンガ倉庫の辺りでは、願い事が叶うと言われる先程の三塔が全て見られる場所でお願いタイム💕
マリンタワー近くに停泊している氷川丸からは、タイミングが良かったので、重厚な正午の汽笛を聞くことが出来ました。
関西に帰りこの話をすると、スカイダックを知らない人多数で羨ましがられました。

I found this on a website and since I had never been on an amphibious bus before, I decided to give it a try.

We started by driving through the city, and then we entered the sea. The splash of water at the moment we entered (just a little) was amazing on a sunny day.

From the sea, we could see Yamashita Park and the Minato Mirai area, offering a different view of Yokohama. There were flying fish jumping in the sea, which was also nice to see.

I booked the earliest time available, but the bus was full, with a mix of foreign tourists and Japanese tourists.

サイトでたまたま見つけ、水陸両用バスは乗った事なかったんで、乗ってみました。
始めに街を走り、その後海へ入るのですが、入る瞬間の水しぶき（少しですが）は晴れている日には最高です。
海から山下公園や、みなとみらい地区を見られ、また違った横浜の風景が見られました。
海には、トビウオらしき魚が跳ねており、それもまた良かったです。
１番早い時間で申し込みしましたが、車内は満席で、外国からの観光客と日本人観光客半々位の感じでした。

It was a hot season in August, but I had a refreshing cruising experience!

I personally hold a small boat license and often have the opportunity to drive, but the captain's driving was professional. He skillfully avoided waves and minimized the impact on the boat, so I don't think there was anyone among the passengers who experienced seasickness.

The interior of the boat was kept clean, and the seats were equipped with cushions to absorb shock, which gave the impression that they were considerate of the passengers! You can enjoy a leisurely time inside the boat, or there are seats outside to enjoy the view as well!

I was looking forward to the famous foreign captain, and he turned out to be a very amusing person, providing guidance filled with jokes, making for a laughter-filled cruise! There are boats that guide you to the Blue Cave in the Otaru area, but I think this one was the most entertaining!

As of August 2025, due to concerns about falling rocks inside the Blue Cave, it seems they do not enter the cave itself, but they get as close as possible within a safe range, allowing us to see the beautiful cave!

It was a memorable and wonderful experience! I learned from the captain that on cloudy days, the cave can look more beautiful or sometimes not at all, so I would like to board again when I visit Otaru! Thank you!

8月の暑いシーズンでしたが、爽快なクルージング体験ができました！

私自身、小型船舶免許を保有しており運転する機会が多いですが船長の運転はプロでした、波を避け船への衝撃を最小限に抑えるような運転をしており同乗しているお客さんの中に船酔いしている様子の方は1人もいなかったと思います。

船内も綺麗にされており、座席にも衝撃を和らげる目的のクッションも備えられており乗船される方のことを考えられている印象でした！
船内でゆっくり楽しむもよし、船外にもイスがあるので外で楽しむもよしです！

船長は外国人の有名船長ということで楽しみにしておりましたが、大変愉快な方で終始ジョークを交えた案内をしており笑いの絶えないクルージングでした！
小樽エリア各地に青の洞窟を案内している船がありますが面白さは1番かと思います！

2025.8月現在は青の洞窟内の落石への配慮から洞窟の中までは入らないとのことでしたが、安全な範囲の中でできるだけ青の洞窟に近づいてくれる為、綺麗な洞窟は見ることができました！

記憶に残る素晴らしい体験ができました！
船長さんからの豆知識で、曇っている日の方が綺麗に見えたりとか見えなかったりとからしいので、また小樽に行くときには乗船したいと思っています！
