On a cold day, it would be good for people who can't swim or the elderly. Please be careful as the way the sea looks and its colors change on bad weather days. The scenery from the sea changes, and it's quite charming.

This was our first time visiting Ishigaki Island as a couple, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful sea and observe the fish. The captain's stories about Ishigaki Island were very unique and fantastic.

初めて夫婦で石垣島にきましたが、綺麗な海と魚の観賞が出来るとともに、船長さんの石垣島にまつわるお話がとてもユニークで最高でした。

I used this service alone. It was January, a cold season, and a weekday, but there were still tourists from the mainland and China. The beautiful view of the sea is thanks to the coral, and I was able to see the bright blue coral as shown in the photos. It's enjoyable to see the white coral remains covering the beach, but seeing live coral is also a delight. There are many unique fish that can be easily spotted in Ishigaki Island, which adds to the fun. The captain (there is only one crew member) takes you to points where you can see the coral based on the day's conditions, which is reassuring. I recommend this for those interested in the blue sea.

一人で利用しました。1月で寒い時期・かつ平日でしたが、それでも本土や中国からの観光客が利用していました。海がきれいに見えるのはやはりサンゴのおかげで、写真の様な真っ青なサンゴを見ることができました。海岸を埋め尽くす白いサンゴの死骸（？）を見るのも楽しいのですが、生きてるサンゴを見るのもまた楽しいですね。石垣島ならではのお魚がたくさん、かつ簡単に見えるのも楽しいです。船長さん（乗組員は1人ですが）がその日の状況に応じてサンゴの見えるポイントに連れて行ってくれるのも頼もしいです。青い海、に興味を持った方にお勧めです。

I arrived alone in Ishigaki Island during some free time, and since I often see pictures of Kabira Bay in guidebooks, I decided to check it out right away. The staff at the reception were friendly, and the boats depart every 15 minutes. The explanations from the captain, who served as the guide, were easy to understand. Of course, the underwater scenery was a treasure trove of coral reefs and tropical fish. After about a 30-minute cruise, I want to come back next time with family or friends.

たまたま空いた時間を利用して石垣島に1人で到着、ガイドブックでよく見る写真が川平湾でしたので、早速行ってみることにしました。
受付の方達は親切、船は15分おきに出港、ガイド役の船長さんの説明も解りやすい。
もちろん海の中は、サンゴ礁や熱帯魚の宝庫でした。
約30分の遊覧、今度は家族や仲間同伴で来たいと思います。

We visited three points:
- Anemone roots: Clownfish and colorful fish
- Branch coral: Bleached coral and living coral (beautifully glowing blue)
- Rocky areas: Sleeping turtles and swimming turtles

At each point, the boat's direction was changed frequently so that everyone could see easily while explanations were given. It was hard to hear the voice over the engine noise, but the underwater scenery was beautiful.

3つのポイントを回ってもらえました。
・イソギンチャクの根： カクレクマノミや色鮮やかな魚たち
・枝サンゴ：白化してしまったサンゴ、生きているサンゴ(青色に光ってきれい)
・岩場：寝るカメ、泳ぐカメ
それぞれのポイントでどの席でも見えやすいよう船の向きをぐるぐる変えながら、説明してもらえます。エンジン音で声は聞きづらかったですが、海中はきれいでした。

You can observe various fish and corals from the bottom of the boat. We had a one-year-old child with us, and they were peering in with great interest. Unlike snorkeling, it's great that people of all ages, from children to the elderly, can easily participate!

船底から様々な魚と珊瑚を観察出来ます。1歳の子供も一緒でしたが興味深く覗き込んでいました。シュノーケリングと違い子供からお年寄りまで気軽に参加出来るのもgood!

Even though I can't swim, I was able to snorkel thanks to the support I received. I'm grateful to the staff. The phantom island and the beautiful underwater scenery provided such a wonderful experience at my age. It was truly moving.

I encountered a sea turtle, which according to legend brings happiness when you meet one in the clear blue sea.

The weather was nice and there were many tourists, but since I had purchased my tickets in advance, the exchange was smooth! I was able to buy them a little cheaper than on-site! I recommend it for older adults and those with small children! You can enjoy the ocean without getting wet while on the boat! They also provide explanations, which makes it fun! There are occasionally sea turtles, so be sure to look for them! I was able to see a sea turtle on the day of my visit.

Due to the typhoon, I couldn't step out of the hotel for a whole day. The next day, I arrived at Kabira Bay, which I had been most eager to visit on Ishigaki Island, by rental car. Because of low tide, the glass-bottom boat couldn't set sail, so I drove around the area until the afternoon before boarding. The water was murky due to the typhoon, but I could see tropical fish and giant clams. The overall scenery of Kabira Bay, with the contrast of the sea's color and the island's greenery, was stunning. There is an observation deck at the back of the ticket booth, and the view from there is the best.

台風の影響により1日はホテルから1歩も出られなかった。
翌日レンタカーで石垣島で1番訪れたかった川平湾に到着。干潮のためグラスボートは出航できず、午後になるまで近くをドライブして乗船しました。台風の後なので海中は濁っていましたが、熱帯魚やシャコガイが見えました。
川平湾は水中よりも全体の景色、海の色・島の緑のコントラストが素晴らしかったです。
チケット売り場の奥に見晴らし台がありそこからの眺めが1番です。

I was grateful to be able to board right after arriving. I was happy to see many sea turtles and fish. It went by in a flash.

I made a reservation for my father's group trip. The glass boat tour in Kabira Bay had little rocking, allowing us to see the underwater world clearly. Although it wasn't as vibrant as the colorful corals and tropical fish mentioned in the plan, the scenery typical of Okinawa's sea was beautiful, and they enjoyed watching the large fish swimming around.

It's easy for those who are prone to seasickness to participate, and the fact that you don't have to specify a reservation time is a great point for those who want to travel freely.

父の同期旅行にあわせて予約をしました。川平湾内でのグラスボートは、揺れも少なく、しっかりと海の中を見学することが出来たそうです。プラン名にある、色とりどりの珊瑚や熱帯魚ほどでは無かったそうですが、沖縄の海らしい景色が広がり、大きな魚が泳ぐ姿を楽しんだと言っていました。
船に酔いやすい人でも参加しやすく、何よりも予約時間の指定をしなくても済む点が、自由に旅行をしたい人におすすめのポイントであると思いました。

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time during this Golden Week. From the morning after my arrival, I planned a drive around the island with a rental car, and I purchased tickets in advance for a stop at Kabira Bay, which was a must-see spot. I appreciated the freedom of being able to go at my own pace. I enjoyed a glass-bottom boat tour and was very satisfied with the opportunity to admire the beautiful coral sea.

このゴールデンウィークに初めて石垣島を訪れました。到着した翌日の朝から、レンタカーで島一周のドライブを計画、川平湾は必ず立ち寄るスポットとして予定してこのチケットを前もって購入しておきました。時刻はその時次第、自由だったのが良かったと思います。グラスボート遊覧をして、美しい珊瑚の海を鑑賞することができ大変満足いたしました。

I arrived a little early, but I was able to board an earlier boat than my reservation. Thanks to that, I was able to use my time effectively. Normally, the boat doesn't sway much in good weather, but since you’re looking down the whole time, those who are prone to motion sickness might want to take some medication beforehand. The captain provides guidance at good points. If you keep looking down, you might see blue and yellow fish swimming. Since we don't feed the fish to attract them, whether you see fish or not is a matter of luck, but you will definitely see beautiful coral. If it's your first time, I think it's worth taking a ride at least once.

少し早めに着いたのですが予約より1本前のに乗せてもらえました。
おかげで時間が有効に使えました。
普通の天気であればボートはほとんど揺れませんが、
下をずっと見て乗るので乗り物に弱い人は酔い止め飲んどいた方が良いかも。
良いポイントで船長さんが案内してくれます。
ずっと下を見てると青や黄色の魚が泳いでいるのが見えるかもしれません。
餌をあげて魚を呼んだりしないので魚を見られるかは運次第ですがきれいなサンゴは確実に見れます。初めてであれば一度乗って見ても損はないと思います。

The appearance may vary depending on the tides and weather, but Kabira Bay is truly beautiful. Since it's within the bay, the boat's rocking is minimal, making it highly recommended.

潮の満ち引きや天候により、見え方に差はあるかと思いますが、川平湾は本当にきれいです。
湾内なので船の揺れも小さく、お勧めです。

The bottom of the boat seemed to be made of a translucent acrylic panel, which made the colors appear duller than they really are. When I imagined the famous photos of Kabira Bay and the fish, I felt a bit confused. I ended up seeing more fish while snorkeling at the beach in Ishigaki on my own.

船の底が半透明なアクリル板でできているようで本当の色よりはくすんでいるように感じた。川平湾の有名な写真と魚の写真をイメージしているとあれ？？って感じです。
勝手に石垣のビーチでシュノーケルしている方が魚は見れました。

The scenery is truly beautiful. You can experience healing through sight by taking a stroll around before or after riding the glass boat.

何と言っても景色の良さが良いですね。グラスボートに乗る前や後に周りを散策すれば視覚からの癒しを体験できます。

Kabayama Bay is beautiful no matter when you visit. It's no surprise that it has earned a three-star rating from the Michelin Travel Guide. The glass-bottom boat is small, accommodating about 20 to 30 people, but since Kabayama Bay is an inland sea, it doesn't rock much. The 30-minute ride goes by quickly, thanks to the captain's precise announcements, and while you're gazing at the bottom of the glass boat, the time seems to fly by. However, having visited Ishigaki Island multiple times over the past ten years, it is very sad to see the reality of environmental degradation, especially the decline of coral reefs year after year.

川平湾はいつ行っても眺めが美しい。
ミシュラントラベルガイド三ツ星を獲得するのも納得だ。
グラスボートは２０～３０人乗りくらいで小型だが、川平湾は内海なので大きく揺れるのことはない。
３０分の乗船だが船長の的確なアナウンスがあり、グラスボートの底を眺めていると時間はあっという間にたってしまい３０分は短いくらいだ。
しかし、石垣島は１０年以上何度も訪れているが、環境悪化で特に珊瑚礁が年々減少している事実は非常に悲しい。

Anyway, it was just too beautiful! I could see the fish in the ocean, and my wife was cheering (even though we're not that young anymore...). I learned about the different types of coral!!! I didn't know that. Next time, I want to dive in and swim in the ocean!

I wanted the tour guests and individual guests to be separated. It was noisy, they were crowding in, and their arms were bumping into me... my wedding anniversary was ruined... I was really looking forward to it...

ツアーの客と個人で来てる客を分けて欲しかった。
騒がしくて詰めてくるわ腕が当たるわ・・・結婚記念日が台無しに・・・。
楽しみにしていたのに・・・。

Since it was right after a squall, we couldn't see many fish in the bay, so we went out to the outside of the bay. I would like to go again on a day when the water is not murky. It was great to enjoy it easily.

スコール直後だったので、魚があまり湾内でみえなかったので、
湾の外まででていただきました。
また、水が濁ってない日に再度行ってみたいです。
手軽に楽しめて良かったです。
