I stayed in Toyosu and made a reservation two days prior because it seemed like a fun place nearby. Until I went, I thought it would mainly be a spot for Instagram-worthy photos, but I was able to enjoy the space much more than I expected, and I'm glad I went.

If I had to point out some downsides, it would be that the overall dark atmosphere makes it hard to know where to go, and I couldn't find an overall map. Also, I got quite tired in the initial cushion zone. However, the enjoyable experience outweighed these issues.

We went as a family, but honestly, it was below our expectations. Perhaps because it was a weekday, most of the visitors were foreigners, yet all the guidance and announcements were in Japanese. It was hard to tell where the end of the line was, and I think it was even more confusing for the foreign guests. The content was also below expectations; the garden area felt like it was over too quickly. There were places where you could get wet up to your knees, so it might not be suitable for preschoolers. The area in Odaiba was really great, so our expectations might have been higher, but personally, I felt it wasn't worth the admission fee.

I was torn between taking the high-speed boat and the ferry, but I chose the ferry and, without getting seasick, I slept and before I knew it, we arrived at Fukue Island. I was informed that during rough weather, ferries are less likely to be canceled than high-speed boats, so I opted for the ferry on my return trip as well. Please note that your boarding pass will be collected when you disembark, so be sure to keep it and not throw it away.
