While the night view from Mount Hakodate is certainly wonderful, Sapporo has been recognized as one of Japan's New Three Major Night Views since 2015, based on votes from night view tourism specialists across the country. The "Sapporo Night View" is considered to be at its best from Moiwa Mountain.

Unlike other cities famous for their night views, Sapporo is a city without the sea, but instead, the dynamic night view of Sapporo spreads across the Ishikari Plain, the second largest plain in Japan, showcasing the beauty of a city with a population of 2 million.

The heart-shaped padlock has received great acclaim, and it was even used by the duo "EXIT" from Yoshimoto Kogyo.

That gentle, soft, and warm light creates the "Sapporo night view."
