I had wanted to visit for a long time, so this time I signed up with a friend. The location was very close to Ginza Station and easy to find. Although it’s called a café, it’s not like other places where you drink coffee while watching owls through glass; instead, it’s a place where you can interact with owls by petting them and taking photos.

The staff were very friendly and would place the owls on your hand without you even asking, and they took pictures for you as well. At first, I was scared of the larger owls thinking they might peck me with their beaks, but that was just my assumption; they were all very calm and gentle. Even when I reached out to pet their heads, they didn’t show any signs of discomfort and let me pet them. The smaller owls had big, round eyes that seemed to gaze back at me without breaking eye contact, making it feel like I was being drawn into their eyes. They were so cute and truly healing. I didn’t know owls could be this adorable. I think I might become addicted to this experience.

If you go to the 7 PM session, it’s dinner time, so you can also feed the owls as an option.

からだの大きい子はくちばしでつつかれそうで最初怖かったのですが、それは私の思い込みで、みんなとてもおとなしいいい子でした。頭をなでようと手を出しても、特にいやな顔もせず、頭をなでなでさせてくれました。小さい子は目が大きくてくりくりして、目を離さず覗き込むように見つめ返してくれるので、瞳に吸い込まれそうでした。とってもかわいくて本当に癒されました。こんなにフクロウがかわいいとは知らなかった。くせになりそうです。
19時の回に行くと夕食の時間なので、オプションでえさやりもできるそうです。

I went after watching "Pittanko Kankan" (laughs). It was my first time touching an owl, and I hadn't seen many at the zoo either, but they are really cute! They were calm and let me pet them on their backs without any fuss. I couldn't help but take lots of pictures because they are just so adorable.

At first, my friend was a bit scared and couldn't pet them much, but the owls here are so well-behaved that she quickly got used to them and was able to pet them too. The texture of their feathers is really nice. They are so fluffy!! And I feel like they are staring at me with their big, round eyes. I ended up falling in love with that owl (laughs).

The staff were very enthusiastic about providing service; they let the owls perch on their hands, shoulders, and even heads! I thought their claws might hurt, but it didn't hurt at all! They also taught us a lot about owls and answered our questions. There are various types of owls, so I believe you'll definitely find your favorite owl when you visit! Each one has a different face and eyes, and they are all cute.

爪が結構あるので痛いのかと思いきや全然痛くなかったです！
フクロウの知識もたくさん教えてくれて疑問にも答えてくれました。
色々な種類のフクロウがいるので行けば必ず推しフクロウがいると思います！
それぞれ顔や目が違ってかわいいです。

My friends and I dropped by after work to spend some time fluffing up some owls. It is right by the South East exit of Shinjuku Station, but the location itself is hard to find. There are no signs outside and you kind of have to look inside the building to find the signage leading up to the fifth floor (no elevator).
We happened to book the time where they were doing their feeding time. You can feed them for an additional 200 yen, but other customers were doing it so we passed. After they were fed, we were allowed to hold them and have them perch up on our shoulder! They were very calm (well, sorta) and pretty chill with humans.
Like other owl cafes I've been to, it's not a cafe where you sit down and have a cup of coffee. You get a bottled drink and just enjoy your time with owls! It was a fun experience and an hour was just enough time to bond with the cute birds!

The shop was right by Shinjuku station, convenient. The building is a little hard to find, make sure you look into the stairwell for the sign. The owls were very cute and well-behaved, and the staff obviously cared about them and knew all their characters well. Very cute, very fluffy!

There were some people lined up at the entrance but we were able to check in without waiting since we'd made an advance reservation through veltra! The cafe was relatively small but very cozy and they had tatami seats that you could enjoy your drink. It took me a while to get comfortable enough to pet them, but when I did, I found out they’re really soft and ADORABLE. The attentive staff would place the owl on your shoulder or head if you like! This owl cafe guarantees you a truly amazing experience. Don't forget your camera!

On the weekend I went with friends to an owl cafe for the first time in Harajuku. The staff were very nice and tried hard to speak English with us.
The owls were really cute. You can touch them and even let them perch on your arm. One owl named Haku perched on my hat and refused to move! haha If I have the chance, I'd like to go again!

This was my first time went to an owl cafe in Japan, the shop was a bit small but very very cozy. We spent nearly one hour with those cute owls, most of them were very social and let us touch them, we even put them on our hand or shoulder. This was a very good experience, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

It's my second time to go to an owl cafe.
The cafe is pretty near the JR harajyuku station. It is small but lovely.
And the staffs are friendly, too. They can also speak a little English and they provide English instructions to read, so there's no need to worry!
Off course the owls are so lovely! We all had a great time with these cute owls.
And I would love to take my other friends to visit them again!

Highly recommend the Owl Cafe

This was one of the best experience's I've ever had on a trip. We arrived and were led upstairs for our drink choice. They had sodas, teas and a few other options. Alcohol was just a small upcharge. Then after a brief lesson on how to interact with the owls (rules of the road), we were led downstairs to hold, pet and photograph the owls. There were about 10 or so owls that we could hold and about another 10 or so owls that were sleeping in their cages that we could take pictures of but not hold. Those owls were not even sleeping, just hanging out. The big "Harry Potter" owl was the snowy owl and we could only take pictures of that one. There was a small enough group and enough time that every person could have held every owl, should they choose to. The bigger owls required wearing a glove so they didn't scratch you. The smaller ones were held without gloves. There was also enough time to take pictures of all of the resting owls. Their feathers were amazingly soft.
The staff did not speak English when we were there, but it was no problem. We understood enough of what they were trying to convey through motions they used with their hands. It was great fun and I would highly recommend it.

There are different sizes owl that you can play with!
Small size owls can even stand on your shoulders and head! That's a unforgettable moment :D
Also the staff is good. Although we do not know much Japanese, they try their best to describe and introduce everything related to the owls to us. They are willing to help us take photos too :3
