I thought I would get bored after riding for two hours, but the boatman's stories were enjoyable, and the river descent was not too intense, allowing us to have a great time. I was hoping to see cherry blossoms, but it seems I was a bit early. In Arashiyama, they were about 30% in bloom, but in Hozu River, there were hardly any blossoms. I would love to come back during the fresh green season.

I had a wonderful experience snorkeling and encountered sea turtles! We went to the Pumpkin Cave by canoe, and I was amazed by the impressive stalactites that exceeded my expectations. I felt a bit nervous about the final jump, but it was a valuable experience! I also learned a lot about the flowers and butterflies of Miyako Island, which helped me understand the local area better! The explanations about Miyako Island and the caves were also provided, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. Even preschoolers participated, and it was their first time snorkeling, but they had a great time.

Beyond my imagination!
It was my first time snorkeling, and I even encountered a sea turtle and took many photos. We kayaked to the entrance of the Pumpkin Cave, and swimming inside was a mystical experience that moved me! They also explained places where photography was not allowed and about the stalactites, which was educational. Finally, we jumped from the Pumpkin! It was a valuable experience and so much fun!
I participated in the tour right after the beach opening!
As for COVID-19 measures... I realized after it ended that there wasn't a temperature check or alcohol disinfection, but since it was an outdoor activity, I wasn't too concerned about being in close quarters!
The staff was attentive, checking multiple times if anyone was feeling seasick or unwell. There was someone in the group who started to feel a bit off, and it seemed challenging to keep an eye on them while also watching the rest of the group, but thanks to their quick and clear instructions, we were able to finish the tour without any worries.
They talked with a smile the whole time, which was enjoyable, and it was interesting to share stories with a few people from Hokkaido, my hometown!
I would like to use this service again when I travel to Miyako Island. Thank you for the wonderful memories! ^_^

初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、ウミガメにも出会えて写真も沢山撮っていただきました。パンプキン鍾乳洞入口までカヤックを漕いで行き、中に泳いで入ると神秘的な空間で感動しました!写真撮影NGな場所や鍾乳石などの説明もしていただき、勉強にもなりました。最後はパンプキンからのジャンプ!貴重な体験ができ楽しかったです!
海開き後すぐにツアー参加させていただきました！
コロナ対策は…そーいえば体温チェックとかアルコール除菌とかなかったかなーと終わってから思いましたが笑
でもお外での活動だったので、密ではないのかなーと気になりませんでした！
お姉さんが何度も波酔いした方や体調崩した方がいないかなどを気にかけてくださっていました。
同じタイミングでのツアー参加の方に少し調子悪くなった方がいて、その人を気にしつつの周りも気にしつつと大変そうでしたが、テキパキした指示をしてくださったため不安なくツアーを終えることができました。
終始ニコニコ笑顔で話してくださり楽しかったのと、同じ北海道出身の方々が何人かいたため同郷の話も出来て面白かったです！
また宮古島に旅行に来た際は利用したいと思いました。いい思い出をありがとうございました^_^

I participated in the experience of swimming with sea turtles and exploring the Pumpkin Cave!

Before returning to the city, I decided I wanted to have a marine experience, so I made a reservation the day before and joined as a solo traveler. (Due to work commitments, I was alone, but it was nice to be with a family that had children.)

I didn't have much experience with snorkeling, but the instructor was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. (At first, I struggled to keep the goggles in place, and water kept getting in, but gradually I got used to it and was able to keep my face in the water for longer.)

As soon as we started looking for sea turtles, we found one right away, and later encountered another one. The sea turtle we found moved slowly and seemed to swim at the same pace as us, which was incredibly cute!

I was worried I might not get to see any, so I was really happy when I spotted one right away. It was a wonderful experience to swim right above the sea turtle!

After that, we moved by canoe to the Pumpkin Cave. (Canoeing uses quite a bit of arm muscle, haha.)

We entered through a very small entrance, and suddenly came across a large pumpkin-shaped formation, which was surprising!

Since there wasn't much depth, I thought that was the end, but then I was surprised again when they said we would climb through the cave! (It was less slippery than I expected, which was good.)

Inside was very mystical, and I felt the power of nature. I love experiences like this that make me feel excited as I venture deeper. At the end, we jumped into the sea from a spot about 2 meters high!

It became a truly memorable experience that makes me want to come back again.

The guide was also very kind, and it’s a tour that anyone can enjoy even if you’re alone, so I definitely recommend participating!☆

ウミガメと泳ぐ体験＋パンプキン鍾乳洞体験に
参加しました！

都内に帰る前にマリン体験がしたいと思い立ち、
女一人で前日に予約して参加しました。
（仕事の関係で1人参加でしたが
　お子さん連れの家族が一緒だったのでよかったです泣）

シュノーケル体験はあまり経験がなかったのですが、インストラクターのお兄さんが丁寧に説明してくれました。
（最初はゴーグルを抑えてないと水が入ってきてしまったりで慣れなかったのですが、だんだん長く海に顔をつけられるようになりました＾＾）

ウミガメを探し始めたら早速見つかり、
後にもう1匹にも遭遇。今回見つけたウミガメは
動きがゆっくりで、人間の泳ぐ速さに合わせてくれた感じがしてなんとも可愛らしかったです...!

遭遇できなかったら残念だなあと思っていましたが、すぐに会えたので嬉しかったです。
ウミガメの真上を泳ぐ、素敵な体験ができました！

その後はカヌーで移動してパンプキン鍾乳洞へ。
（カヌーは腕の筋肉けっこう使いますねｗ）

とても小さい入口から入り、中には
大きなカボチャの形をしたものがいきなり出てきてびっくり！

特に奥行きがなかったので、これで終わりかあ、と少し落胆してたら鍾乳洞を登ると言われまたびっくりｗ
（思っていたより滑りにくくてよかったです）

中はとても神秘的で、自然の凄さを体感しました。
奥に進んでいる時がワクワクするのでこういう体験は好きです。
最後は2mくらい高い場所から海へジャンプ！

また来たいと思える、とっても思い出に残る体験になりました。

女一人でも全然楽しめるツアーなので、

It was thunder and heavy rain until the morning of the day, but they were monitoring the sea conditions right up until the last moment to make a decision, and just in time, the rain stopped, allowing us to participate in the tour safely! Even with the cloudy sky, the underwater scenery was beautiful, and we were able to swim with many fish and sea turtles, which was an amazing experience!

After snorkeling, we moved by car close to the Pumpkin Cave, so it's necessary to have plastic covers or bath towels to keep the car dry! Canoeing and exploring the Pumpkin Cave can be quite physically demanding, so a schedule that allows for some relaxation afterward might be a good idea. The guide also took many photos and shared interesting facts, making it a fun time!

当日の朝まで雷と大雨でしたが、直前まで海の様子をみて決行を判断しているとのことで、ギリギリで雨も止み、無事にツアーに参加することができました！
曇り空でも海の中はとても綺麗で沢山の魚やウミガメとも泳ぐことができ最高の体験ができました٩( ´◡` )( ´◡` )۶
シュノーケリングが終わった後は車でパンプキン鍾乳洞の近くまで移動となるので、車が濡れないようビニールやバスタオルは必要です！
カヌーやパンプキン鍾乳洞の探索は割と体力を使うので、体験後はゆっくりできるスケジュールが良いかもしれません。
ガイドさんも沢山写真をとってくれたり、豆知識を教えてくれて楽しい時間でした！

I participated in the Pumpkin Cave and sea turtle snorkeling tour. The sea was very beautiful! As someone who isn't a strong swimmer, I was a bit scared, but the guide was very kind, and my family was able to enjoy it. I was very satisfied to swim with the colorful fish and sea turtles. The Pumpkin Cave we visited afterward was very mystical.

The guide took many photos for us, which was a wonderful service for our family since we didn't bring a camera. However, it was a bit awkward to leave covered in sand after the tour.

I participated in a tour of the Pumpkin Cave and sea turtle snorkeling.

We gathered at 8:30 AM and headed to Shigira Beach. Right at the start of the tour, we encountered a sea turtle. The tour description on Veltra didn’t mention that photos would be taken during the tour, but the guide took pictures of each group with the sea turtle, which made for a great memory. In addition to the sea turtles, we were guided to beautiful coral reefs and deeper areas, allowing us to observe various marine creatures.

After snorkeling for about an hour, we moved by car to Bora River Beach. We boarded a canoe to head to the Pumpkin Cave. Before entering the cave, there were many explanations and precautions about areas that should not be touched or stepped on, showing that the tour respects the feelings of the local people regarding nature conservation and the sacredness of the site. Inside the cave, there were some tricky spots, but the guide was quick to lend a hand, allowing us to explore safely. Additionally, they maintained distance from other tours while providing explanations and taking photos, making it a memorable trip.

朝８時半集合でシギラビーチへ。
ツアーを始めてすぐ、ウミガメと遭遇。ベルトラのツアー説明には、ツアー中の写真を撮ってもらえるとの記載がなかったのですが、ガイドの方が参加一組ずつウミガメと写真撮影してくださったのでよい記念になりました。また、ウミガメだけでなく、サンゴ礁が綺麗なところや、深いところにも順に案内してくださり、色んな海の生き物を観察することが出来ました。

1時間くらいシュノーケルした後は、車移動をして、保良川ビーチへ。カヌーに乗ってパンプキン鍾乳洞に向かいます。パンプキン鍾乳洞に入る前には触ったり踏んだりしてはいけない場所の説明や注意事項がたくさんあり、自然保護や聖地としている地元の方の気持ちを大切にしながらツアーを催行していることが窺えました。鍾乳洞の中では足場が悪いところもありましたが、ガイドの方がすかさず手を差し伸べてくださり、安心して見学出来ました。また、他のツアーと距離をあけながら、説明や写真撮影をしていただき、心に残る旅行になりました。

The clear kayak and SUP were so much fun! They even filmed us with a GoPro and drone, and at the end, they gifted us the video!! The staff were all very kind and supportive, and even though I was a beginner with both the clear kayak and SUP, I made the best memories☆☆ I definitely want to come back to Miyako Island and experience this again! In March, the weather was cloudy and a bit cold, which made me anxious about getting into the water, but during the snorkeling experience, once I entered the sea and looked underwater, I was amazed to see so many beautiful and cute fish swimming around. I stopped feeling the coldness of the water and enjoyed the snorkeling experience to the fullest! Additionally, I was thrilled to see a sea turtle swimming up close and even took pictures together at a very close distance. The Pumpkin Cave was much larger than I had imagined, and as I ventured deeper into the cave, it felt like an exciting exploration. It was a mystical space, and I felt that there couldn't be another cave that was as moving as this one. The canoeing experience was also enjoyable, as I could paddle comfortably at just the right distance. I'm really glad I had the best experience on this tour!

3月で、天気も曇りで少し寒くて海の中に入るのが冷たそうで不安だったのですが、シュノーケリング体験で海に入って、海の中を覗くと綺麗な魚や可愛い魚がたくさん泳いでいるのが見れて感動して、水の冷たさを感じなくなってその後のシュノーケリング体験も最高に楽しめました！また、ウミガメが泳いでいるのを間近で見ることができて、至近距離で一緒に写真も撮れてとても嬉しかったです。パンプキン鍾乳洞は、私が思っていたよりも数倍洞窟の中が広くて、だんだん洞窟の奥に入っていくのが探検しているみたいでワクワクしました。神秘的な空間で、ここまで感動する洞窟は他にはないだろう、と感じました。カヌー体験も、ちょうどいい距離で気持ちよく漕ぐことができて楽しかったです。このツアーで最高の体験をできて本当によかったです！

I experienced this in early March. Everything was kind, and I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. I usually don't engage in physical activities, so I was quite hesitant about signing up, but I called beforehand and received thorough answers to all my questions, which made me feel secure about participating on the day. Thank you very much. The warmth and charm of all the staff members were also very appealing.

I believe the activities can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, including those with low stamina, young children, and the elderly. They also take ample safety precautions. The pedal SUP was more comfortable than I imagined; I think many people who dream of trying regular SUP but are worried about falling should definitely give this a try.

For the clear kayak, I mostly left it to my husband who was sitting behind me, but we were able to calmly observe the little Nemo fish, vibrant blue fish, and various types of coral underwater. They provided detailed explanations about spots where we could see many fish, and we also had free time, which was very relaxing.

I was truly impressed by the quality of the drone footage and the original video we received immediately, which felt like a service beyond expectations. Thank you for such a wonderful experience that makes me want to come back again someday. I will definitely visit Miyako Island again.

It was a fun activity that far exceeded my expectations! Canoeing and snorkeling were new experiences for me, and I was a bit anxious about whether I could do them, but the instructor, Kumachan, provided clear explanations and kept a close eye on us, which made me feel comfortable participating! The Pumpkin Cave was very beautiful. The explanations were easy to understand, even for a beginner like me. During snorkeling, we were taken to a spot where we could see lots of corals and fish, which was fulfilling! We even got to see a sea turtle, and they took pictures with us. It was very helpful that they took photos for us, so we didn't need to bring a camera. There was free time to explore, so I could see the places I wanted to. It became a wonderful memory for our honeymoon!

The day before, we received information from our tour guide about the meeting place and what to bring, and we met at the parking lot of Shinjo Beach. We quickly joined our guide and set off for sea turtle snorkeling with my family of four (my husband, our second-grade son, and our 4-year-old son) along with a woman who was participating alone. They prepared a snorkeling boat for our 4-year-old son, which was a great help. While on the boat, we could look down and see the underwater scenery. Our 4-year-old was pulled along by the guide and was able to see clownfish, sea turtles, coral reefs, and tropical fish, and he was thoroughly delighted. My second-grade son had a little mishap with his goggles fogging up, but he was super excited about the experience!

I hadn't gone snorkeling in a long time, so I was a bit anxious, but I enjoyed chatting with the woman who was participating with us, and the atmosphere was very friendly. Previously, I had participated in a sea turtle snorkeling experience in another place that wasn't Miyako Island, but the turtles were far away and quickly passed by. Still, the guide mentioned that the sea was calm today, so we headed to the Pumpkin Cave. Once we entered Pumpkin Hall, a mystical view unfolded before us. I had seen various caves before, but entering a cave from the sea felt completely different. Our 4-year-old son was scared of the darkness and cried, so he waited with my husband and the guide in front of Pumpkin Hall. My second-grade son and I entered the cave, listened to various explanations from the guide, took photos, and finally jumped from the top of the pumpkin, making it a true adventure. My second-grade son said, "This was the most fun I've ever had in my life!" Although my husband and 4-year-old son couldn't explore the Pumpkin Cave this time, I plan to participate again when our son is old enough not to be afraid of the dark. By the way, our 4-year-old found sea kayaking fun and didn't cry even when we capsized. We made wonderful memories as a family!

私はシュノーケリングじたいすごく久しぶりだったので少し不安でしたか、一緒に参加していた女性と話しながら、和気あいあいとした雰囲気でした。ウミガメに会えたときは本当に嬉しかったです。以前、宮古島ではない他のところでウミガメシュノーケルに参加したことがあるのですが、遠くに見えて、あっという間に過ぎ去ってしまった記憶があるのですが、こちらのシュノーケルは、ウミガメが、一緒に泳ごうよ!と言っているかのようでした。ウミガメシュノーケルならこちらのツアーは本当にオススメです!
場所を移動して、パンプキン鍾乳洞へ。カヤックに乗って、パンプキンホールへ出発。ウミガメシュノーケルのときと違い、波があり、まさに冒険という感じ。それでも今日は海が穏やかだとガイドさんから聞き、いざパンプキン鍾乳洞へ。パンプキンホールの中に入ると、神秘的な景色が広がっていました。今までいろんな鍾乳洞を見たことがあるけれど、海の中から入る鍾乳洞はまた違った感じでした。4歳の息子は暗闇が怖いと泣いて、主人とガイドさんと一緒にパンプキンホールの前で待っていました。小２の息子と私は、鍾乳洞の中に入り、ガイドさんからいろんな説明を聞いて、写真を撮ってもらい、最後はパンプキンの上からジャンプして、まさに大冒険でした。小２の息子は、「今まで生きてきた中で一番楽しかった！」と言っていました。主人と4歳息子は今回はパンプキン鍾乳洞の探検は出来なかったけれど、息子が暗闇が怖くない年齢になったらまた参加しようと思います。ちなみに4歳息子はシーカヤックは面白かったらしく、転覆しても泣かなかったです。また家族で良い思い出が出来ました！

We participated as a family of four in mid-March. We were fortunate with the weather, enjoying a sunny tour from the morning. Our family joined with young children (ages 8 and 4). While many tours for the pumpkin cave and sea turtles require participants to be at least 6 years old, this tour allowed children from 4 years old, so we decided to go with this option. We were a bit anxious about whether our 4-year-old could snorkel, but on the day of the tour, the guide brought a snorkeling boat, and our 4-year-old lay on the boat, peering into the water. We were able to see two sea turtles, clownfish, and beautifully colored tropical fish up close, making for a fulfilling experience.

During the pumpkin cave tour, another guide joined us and energized everyone with their lively voice. Inside the cave, it was pitch dark, but when we turned on the lights, it revealed a fantastical world. When it came time to jump into the sea at the end, I hesitated a bit, but the guide said, "It's said that if you make a wish before you jump in, your wish will come true." So, I made a wish and jumped in. Participating with children was made easier by the guide's solid support, which really enhanced the experience. ３月中旬に家族四人で参加しました。天候に恵まれ、朝から快晴の中のツアーでした。我が家は子連れ(8歳、4歳)での参加でした。パンプキン鍾乳洞とウミガメのツアーは6歳以上のところが多い中、こちらのツアーでは4歳から参加可能だったのでこちらのツアーに決めました。4歳児にシュノーケルが出来るのか？という不安を抱きながら当日を迎えましたが、当日、ガイドさんがシュノーケルボートを持ってきてくれて、我が家の4歳児はボートにうつぶせになり海の中を覗き込んでいました。ウミガメ二匹とクマノミ、きれいな色の熱帯魚を間近で見ることが出来、充実した時間を過ごしました。

パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーでは、もう一人ガイドさんが加わり、元気な声でみんなを盛り上げてくれました。鍾乳洞の中は真っ暗でしたが、ライトを点けるとそこは幻想的な世界でした。最後に海に飛び込むときは、少し躊躇してしまいましたが、ガイドさんが「願い事をして飛び込むとその願いが叶うと言われています。」と言うので、願い事をしながら飛び込みました。子連れでの参加も、ガイドさんがしっかりサポートしてくれて、その場を盛り上げてくれました。ツアーでの写真も当日中に送ってくれて、迅速な対応でした。写真もどれもよく撮れていて、満足しています。ありがとうございました！

I first went to Pumpkin Cave by canoe. Paddling while enjoying the ocean view was the best. The inside of the cave was even more beautiful than it looked in photos. Since you have to climb to see inside Pumpkin Cave, I was a bit scared, but the guide kindly took me up. It was said that seeing sea turtles while snorkeling is rare, but miraculously, I was able to see sea turtles twice. The guide was entertaining and explained everything thoroughly from start to finish. It was the best tour.

1番最初にパンプキン鍾乳洞までカヌーで行きました。海の景色を見ながらカヌーを漕ぐのが最高でした。鍾乳洞の中も写真で見るより凄く素敵でした。パンプキン鍾乳洞の中は登らないと見ることができない為、少し怖ったが、ガイドさんが優しく上まで連れっててくれました。シュノーケリングでは、ウミガメと会えるのは珍しいということでしたが、奇跡的に2回もウミガメを見ることが出来ました。ガイドさん面白くて最初から最後まで丁寧に色々説明してくれました。最高のツアーでした。

I was very anxious about whether we would be able to see sea turtles during the snorkeling in the first half, but I was deeply moved that we were able to take pictures together multiple times. After a thorough warm-up, we started with snorkeling. Although the weather was a bit bad, it didn't matter once we were in the sea and the cave!

I had the best experience in Miyako Island! During the sea turtle snorkeling, I was able to see three sea turtles and had a great time swimming with them. The sea kayaking experience to the Pumpkin Cave was also fun, and the cave itself was even more amazing. It felt like an adventure, just like Indiana Jones! You can touch the stalactites and enjoy it in a wilder way compared to the limited-view tourist caves. I highly recommend experiencing this when you visit Miyako Island for the best experience!

They helped ease my nerves while maintaining a comfortable distance, which made me feel at ease. ◆Snorkeling
It was a very valuable experience.
All the equipment needed for snorkeling, including wetsuits, was provided for us.
I personally don't engage in marine sports regularly, so I didn't have a rash guard, but I was able to participate in the activity wearing a short-sleeve sports T-shirt and swim trunks (for men) after heading to the site and borrowing the necessary equipment.
The location was Shigira Beach, and I was very satisfied as I was able to see sea turtles and many fish.
The staff also regularly checked on the participants' conditions, showing that they were attentive to safety.

◆Canoeing, Pumpkin Cave
After moving by car from the beach where we snorkeled to another beach, we headed to the cave by canoe.
I was a beginner at canoeing, but after receiving instructions on how to paddle, I didn't encounter any particular difficulties.
Along the way, we encountered a sea snake inside the cave, but thanks to the proper guidance, we were able to enjoy the experience without any trouble.
The inside of the cave was beautiful, and I believe it is worth seeing.

私自身、日頃マリンスポーツは致しませんので
ラッシュガードなど持っていませんでしたが
半袖スポーツTシャツと水着（下）※男性　で
現場に向かい、そのまま備品を借りてアクティビティに参加できました。
場所はシギラビーチ、海亀とたくさんの魚を見ることができ満足度高かったです。
担当の方も随時参加者の体調を確認されていて、
安全に気を使っておられるようでした。

◆カヌー、パンプキン鍾乳洞
シュノーケリングをしたビーチから車で移動し、
別のビーチに移動した後
カヌーで鍾乳洞まで向かいました。
カヌー初心者でしたが、漕ぎ方のレクチャーを受け特に困ることはありませんでした。
途中鍾乳洞の中で海蛇と遭遇するも、
適切に案内頂けたので特にトラブルなく過ごせました。
鍾乳洞の中も美しく、一見の価値ありと思います。

In the morning, we went snorkeling and in the afternoon, we had a tour of the Pumpkin Cave. The weather in Miyako Island is unpredictable, and while I was putting on my wetsuit for snorkeling, it started to rain heavily. I felt cold and anxious, but our guide, Jun, had the best smile and provided thorough explanations.

The water was surprisingly warm, and we were greeted by many fish! We went to a spot with colorful fish, and at each point, the guide explained about the fish and their habits while we swam. He even took photos of us with the fish, capturing angles that are hard to get on your own. The shots with the fish "Nemo" turned out beautifully.

In the afternoon, our plan for the Pumpkin Cave was postponed due to the weather. It was rescheduled for two days later. There were 16 of us in total, with three instructors. After waiting, it turned out to be incredibly fun.

We canoed to the cave entrance, greeted the gods at the entrance, and swam into the cave. We used ropes to climb and explored the cave, which was a treasure trove of stalactites. 宮古島の天気は変わりやすくスノーケルの準備でスエットスーツを着ている間に大雨。寒くて不安になったが、ガイドのじゅんサンは最高の笑顔とともに充分な説明。
　海の中は以外と暖かく、沢山のお魚がお出迎え！色とりどりのお魚のポイントへ。その都度お魚の説明や習性も泳ぎながら説明。お魚と一緒にガイドさんのカメラで撮影もしてくれました。お魚『ニモ』との撮影は個人ではなかなか撮れないアングル。とっても素敵に撮影してもらいました。
午後からはパンプキン鍾乳洞の予定があいにくの天気で延期。2日後にパンプキン鍾乳洞催行。総勢16人でインストラクターさんが3人。待たされた分もあり最高に楽しかったです。
　カヌーで洞窟入り口まで行き、洞窟の入り口で神様に挨拶をして、水の中を泳いで洞窟の中へ。ロープを使って洞窟を登り、鍾乳洞を探検。中は鍾乳洞の宝庫。帰りは3mぐらいある高さから、エメラルド色に光る水面に向かってダイブ！(ここを通るのが外へ出る近道？)タイタニック体験をした気分！乗ってきたカヌーを漕いで浜辺まで。とてもいい体験ができました。ツアーに参加すると写真撮影付き、その日のうちにラインに送ってくれるのでとてもいい思い出が残せました。
ガイドさん達もみんなを楽しませながらしっかり誘導してくれたので楽しい時が過ぎせました。本当に感謝です。ありがとうございました。
