They provided waterproof smartphone cases and winter marine coats for rent, both of which were new and clean, which I really appreciated. It was my first time riding in a transparent kayak, and the floor was like the window of a glass boat, allowing us to see the coral and fish clearly.
The dog I brought along was so excited that he even dove into the sea.

I traveled to Miyako Island for two nights and three days in December, and I had booked a clear kayak tour for the second day. However, unfortunately, it was pouring rain that day, so I received a call from the tour operator in the morning, allowing me to decide whether to proceed with the tour or not. They were very accommodating to my request to assess the local conditions before making a decision.
In the end, I rescheduled the tour for the third day, and they even let me choose which time slot to take. On the third day, they also conducted the drone filming early to avoid the rain, which was incredibly flexible and helpful.
The drone footage was recorded in video format, and I received about eight clips that were around 10 to 30 seconds long, as well as one edited video with music that was about 1 minute and 20 seconds long. I also received several photos. The quality was very beautiful, and it was enjoyable to watch even on a large screen.

12月に2泊3日で宮古島へ旅行に行き、2日目にクリアカヤックのツアーを予約していました。
ところが当日あいにくの大雨だったため、ツアーの方から当日の朝電話をいただき、実施するかどうかをこちらで判断させてくれました。
現地の状況を見て判断したいという要望にも快く応じてくださりました。
結局3日目に変更したのですが、その際も3日目のどの時間枠にするかまで選ばせてくれたり、3日目も雨が降る前に早めにドローン撮影をしてくださったりとても柔軟に対応していただき大変助かりました。
ドローン撮影は動画で撮影してくれて、10〜30秒ほどの動画を8本ほどと、1分20秒くらいに編集した音楽付きの動画を1本いただきました。その他写真も数枚いただきました。
画質もとても綺麗で大画面で見ても楽しめます。
とてもいい思い出になりました。

Canoeing was my first experience, but it was more stable than I expected, allowing me to enjoy it without any anxiety. On the way to the mangrove forest, we faced a strong wind while crossing a large river, which made it a bit challenging to progress, but the view we reached was breathtaking. As we moved through the mangrove tunnel, I was able to enjoy a special scenery that can only be seen from a canoe, making it a very satisfying tour.
I rented a car at Ohara Port and consulted in advance about participating in the afternoon and being able to return on the last ferry. They confirmed it was fine, so I joined the tour, but I decided on my own to skip the shower before heading back. It was quite thrilling in various ways, but I had a lot of fun!

大原港でレンタカーを借り、午後から参加して最終のフェリーで帰れるか事前に相談、大丈夫ということで参加しましたが、自己判断でシャワーを浴びずに帰ることにしました。

This was my first time in Miyako Island. First, we had a canoe tour to the Pumpkin Cave. The meeting time was early, and the location was a bit hard to find. It was great that the staff came out to assist us right away. The instructor was also a very fun person. After a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, we got into the canoe. Although the waves were a bit high and the weather wasn't great, we managed to paddle to the entrance. Inside, there was a large rock that looked like a pumpkin, where we took some photos and received explanations. After that, we climbed up the rock and ventured further inside. Despite various precautions, we were able to take our time to enjoy the sights and even splash around in the water. The highlight was diving from the top of the rock, which felt amazing. On the way back, the canoe ride felt quite fast due to the waves.
After some time, we went to Higashi-Hennazaki and had lunch before heading to the snorkeling spot. While snorkeling, we were able to see sea turtles right away and even spotted clownfish, taking photos along the way. The ocean was incredibly beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I was very happy to receive the photos taken during the trip later through social media, as these kinds of photos are often sold at quite high prices.
初の宮古島でした。最初はパンプキン鍾乳洞までのカヌーツアー。集合時間も早く場所は少しわかりにくい箇所でした。係員の方がすぐに出てきてくれてよかったです。インストラクターも非常に楽しい方でした。駐車場から歩いて１０分でカヌーに乗り、若干波が高く天候もよくなかったですが、入り口まで漕げました。中に入るとパンプキンのような大きな岩があり説明と写真撮影、その後その岩を上って奥まで進みました。いろいろ注意事項があるもののゆっくり見ることができたり、水を浴びたりと楽しめました。最後は岩の上からのダイブ、気持ちよかったです。帰りのカヌーは波もあり結構早く着いた感じでした。
しばらく時間が空いたので東平安名崎まで行ったり昼ごはんを食べてシュノーケルの場所まで行きました。シュノーケルはウミガメがすぐに見ることができたり、ニモを見たりしながら写真を撮ってもらいました。海がとてもきれいで満喫できました。
撮ってもらった写真は後でSNSを通じてもらうことができてとてもうれしいです。（こういうのは結構高額な価格で販売されることが多かったので）

First of all, the winter sea was incredibly beautiful! I’ll include comments from my friend who participated with me.
It was my first time snorkeling in Miyako Island. Since it was December, I was worried about the cold, but the water was actually warmer than expected. The sea was so clear that you could see for miles. Following Yume-chan, I started swimming and immediately encountered a sea turtle! Its leisurely swimming was adorable and truly moving. I had a bit of trouble taking photos because the turtle was so focused on the seaweed, but I was dedicated to capturing underwater shots, considering the lighting to take beautiful pictures. ✨
As we swam through the coral reefs, we moved slowly, and it was amazing to see various fish swimming right next to us! The instructor provided detailed guidance, which made me feel safe while swimming, and the explanations about the fish were interesting. I got to swim a lot, took pictures with cute clownfish, and was very satisfied. After finishing, they prepared warm water for us, leaving us with warm feelings both physically and emotionally.
In the afternoon, we moved to a different location for a SUP tour. My friend was new to SUP, but the instructor, Gen-chan with the beard, gave clear explanations, and my friend was able to stand on the board right away. We even lay down on the board, and it felt so pleasant with the wind blowing. When we passed through the rocks, it was exciting. We enjoyed SUP almost exclusively in a cove. Fish were swimming below the board, and I was once again amazed by the clarity of the water that allowed us to see them from above. We had a great time, took lots of pictures, and created wonderful memories!

ゆめちゃんに続いて、泳ぎだすと直ぐにウミガメとご対面！
ゆったり泳ぐ姿は可愛くて感動しました。写真撮影は、海藻に夢中のうみがめさんにちょっぴり苦労しました笑
けど、水中での写真撮影にこだわりをもってて、光の加減も考えてキレイな写真を撮っていただきました✨
サンゴ礁を泳ぎながらゆっくり移動。手の届くような身体のそばをいろんな魚が泳いで行くのは感動です!
インストラクターさんが細かく声かけしてくれるので安心して泳げますし、魚の解説も面白かったです。
たくさん泳げましたし、可愛いクマノミとも写真が撮れ、大満足でした。
終了後もお湯を準備してもらい、心も体も温かい気持ちで終えられました。
午後は場所を移動してのSUPツアー。
友達はSUPは初めてでしたが、イントラの髭男げんちゃんの説明がわかりやすく、ボードの上に直ぐ立つことが出来てました。
ボードの上に寝転んでもみましが、風に吹かれてとても心地よく、岩の間を潜り抜けたときは、わくわくしました。
入江をほぼ貸切でSUPを楽しむことができました。
ボード下を魚が泳いでおり、それが上から見える透明度の高さに再び感動です。
楽しい時間を過ごせました。

I was worried about whether we would be able to return without being left behind during the 10-hour round trip trek, but we ended up climbing with a pair of four girls and two others who had similar stamina to ours. There were several breaks along the way, and it turned out to be a fulfilling day where I could enjoy and learn a lot about the history of the cedar trees with my own eyes.
There were several difficult spots, but having many companions to climb with made me feel reassured, and I experienced a great sense of accomplishment. Without the tour, I would have likely gotten tired and given up, and I definitely wouldn't have made it to the destination, so it was a wonderful opportunity. The way back felt like it went by in no time!
往復で10時間のトレッキングということでちゃんと置いてかれずに帰って来れるのか不安でしたが、私たちは女の子4人のペアと私たち2人で体力が同じくらいの方と一緒に登ることになりました。休憩も所々何ヶ所かあり、杉の歴史をたのしく自分の目でみていっぱい知れる充実した1日となりました。
難所は何ヶ所がありましたが、一緒に登る仲間がたくさんいて心強いと感じましたし、達成感がとてもありました。ツアーなしでは疲れて諦めてしまい確実にたどり着くことできなかったため、とてもいい機会でした。帰り道はあっという間でした！

I participated in the Pumpkin Cave, sea kayaking, beach SUP, and sea turtle snorkeling.
During the SUP, the instructors patiently taught us beginners how to hold the paddle and tips on how to paddle, which helped us enjoy SUP even as first-timers.
In snorkeling, they smoothly guided us to points where we could see sea turtles, coral, and clownfish, and I was amazed to see countless creatures.

I can't drive, so I rely solely on public transportation, but the bus fare to the northern region is surprisingly high. In that regard, I felt that this day trip tour, which includes sightseeing and lunch, was a great deal.
On the day of the tour, there were about 11 participants, but since it was a large bus, we were able to relax comfortably. Except for two groups, most of the participants were solo travelers, and there were many foreigners.
At Asumuihikes (Daishi Forest), we had a 60-minute stay, during which we explored the short course and the Spirit Forest, and we even enjoyed coffee in the lounge. The timing was just right. For those who may not be confident in their physical fitness, the short course is enjoyable without being too strenuous. The forest course, on the other hand, has larger stones and tree roots, which might make it a bit difficult to walk.
The seafood lunch included sashimi and grilled mackerel, and it was very delicious. Since it was December, the temperature was just right, and we were blessed with good weather. I'm really glad I participated.

ショートコースなら、体力に自信がない方でも無理なく楽しめると思います。
フォレストコースの方は大きめの石や木の根があり、少し歩きにくいと感じるかもしれません。
海鮮ランチはお刺身と鯖の塩焼きで、とても美味しくいただきました。
12月ということもあり気温がちょうど良く、天気にも恵まれて、参加して本当に良かったです。

Due to the schedule of my trip, I was looking for a tour in the afternoon, and I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate me with a rental included! The tour guide was very friendly and provided an enjoyable experience. I was able to fully appreciate the nature of Yakushima, and it became a truly wonderful memory to finally see the moss-covered forest that I had longed to visit. We walked through the jungle guided by our tour guide and encountered cute hermit crabs and coconut crabs along the way. When we reached the coast, we observed the starry sky. At first, there were clouds, but gradually they cleared, revealing a sky full of stars✨ It was a truly moving moment. I'm really glad I participated. During the journey, the guides shared stories about the nature of Ishigaki Island and recommended some shops, so I was never bored at all. Thank you to both of our guides!

The long-awaited Jomon Sugi tour in Yakushima was wonderful. The guide provided excellent explanations of the history and took appropriate breaks while climbing, making the experience very enjoyable. In early December, I participated in this tour for the first time during my fifth visit to Miyako Island. The weather was clear, and our guide was the dandy bearded man, Gen-chan. On the way to the coast, I listened with great interest to fascinating tidbits about the origin of the Pumpkin Cave and the plants blooming along the path.
We paddled canoes from the coast toward the entrance of the cave, which was also a fun time. The area around the entrance had a very solemn atmosphere, and all participants prayed together before heading into the cave!
This location is one of the three major power spots in Miyako Island. Inside, it was a very mystical space that was truly moving. Gen-chan provided detailed explanations about the cave, and as a Japanese person, I felt a strong sense of responsibility to protect this place.
I heard that it is set to be registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the near future. If that happens, it seems this tour will no longer be held. I highly recommend experiencing this before that happens!

天候は快晴、担当のダンディ髭男・ゲンちゃん。海岸までの道中はパンプキン鍾乳洞の由来や道に咲く植物の豆知識を興味深く聞きました。
海岸からカヌーを漕いで鍾乳洞の入口に向かいますがこれも楽しい時間でした。
入口周辺はとても厳かな雰囲気な場所で、参加者全員でお参りをしていざ鍾乳洞へ！
宮古島三大パワースポットの一つであるこの場所。中はとても神秘的な空間で感動的でした。
鍾乳洞のなかでもゲンちゃんより詳しい説明があり、日本人の一人としてこの場所をしっかりと守らなければという気持ちになりました。
近い将来、世界文化遺産に登録が決まっているとのこと。そうなるとこのツアーは開催されなくなるようです。
是非、その前にこの体験をしてみてください。

Since it was my first time going to the Yanbaru area, I was unsure whether to go by rental car or take a bus tour. The bus tour this time included delicious lunch and took us to various places for the entire duration. It might have been a bit hectic, but I was glad to learn about the sightseeing spots in the Yanbaru region. One of the great things about the bus is that I could sleep if I got tired. I also felt at ease not having to worry about driving after drinking the night before! The sea and sky were incredibly soothing! The shikuwasa was delicious too.
やんばる方面は初めていくので、レンタカーで行くか、バスツアーにするか迷いました。
今回のバスツアーはランチも美味しかったし、時間いっぱい色んなところに連れて行って頂けました。
