As a retirement celebration, my spouse and I planned a trip to Yakushima. At 62 years old, I had no climbing experience and no exercise habits, but I was drawn to the world of "Spirited Away" and wanted to visit Yakushima. Since I couldn't keep up with the pace of a group tour, we opted for a private tour.

I started practicing going up and down stairs ten days before the trip. I really wanted to reach the moss-covered forest, but I didn't think I could make it to Taiko Rock. However, our guide took more than 1.5 times the usual time, stopping frequently to explain the plants and share interesting insights about Yakushima's nature and his own experiences (he was a local). This allowed us to take breaks for our bodies and minds, and we were able to reach Taiko Rock.

The weather was bad in the morning at the moss-covered forest, but by the time we reached Taiko Rock, the weather cleared up, and we were able to enjoy the breathtaking views.

Even though we were running over time, our guide, Mr. Iwakawa, slowed down the car to look for Yakuzaru and Yakushika along the road, and he stopped at scenic spots, showing a spirit of hospitality that we truly appreciated.

Thanks to Mr. Iwakawa, it became an unforgettable journey. Thank you very much!

　退職記念として夫婦で屋久島旅行を計画しました。62歳で全く登山経験はもちろん、運動習慣がなかったのですが、千と千尋の世界の白谷雲水峡にあこがれて屋久島を訪れました。団体ツアーのペースにはついて行けないので、プライベートツアーにしました。
　10日前から階段上り下りの練習を始めました。苔むす森まではどうしても行きたいと思いましたが、その先の太鼓岩までは行けると思っていませんでした。でもガイドさんが通常の1.5 倍以上の時間をかけて、小刻みに立ち止まって、植物の説明や、屋久島の自然や（地元の方だそうで）ご自身の経験など興味深い説明を数分して頂き、身体と心の休憩を取りながら、太鼓岩まで行くことができました。
　午前中の苔むす森まではお天気が悪かったのですが、太鼓岩に着く頃には、天気も上がって絶景を楽しむことができました。
　時間が超過しているにもかかわらず、帰りの車でも道路付近にヤクザルやヤクシカがいないか、車のスピードを緩めて探して下さったり、景色の良いところで、車を止めて下さったりと、おもてなしの心にあふれてみえて、とてもありがたかったです。
　ガイドの岩川さんのおかげで、感動的な旅になりました。本当にありがとうございました。

The weather wasn't great, but the guide was very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot. It had been 44 years since my last visit to Shiretoko, and I had previously traveled by boat from Rausu to Shari, so this was my first visit to the Five Lakes. I think if I visit on a sunny day next time, I'll encounter a different side of it.

天気は今一つでしたが、ガイドさんがとても博識で、大変勉強になりました。知床は、44年ぶりで、前回は羅臼から船で斜里まで渡ったので、五胡は初めての訪問でした。
次は、晴れた日に訪問すると、また違った顔に出会えると思います。

I have visited Okinawa Island many times. Since I am a paper driver, I have always relied on bus transfers for sightseeing. I had given up on the idea of touring the northern part beyond Nago by bus, but this tour made my dream come true.

The weather was bad, but the food was delicious, and I enjoyed the stroll. Although not in the wild, I was happy to see the Okinawa rail up close through the glass.

If I may add, we only stopped at the Yamada Service Area for a restroom break on the way there, so I hope it can be included in the itinerary in the future.

As expected, we were delayed on the way back due to traffic.

道の駅許田は行きのトイレ休憩のみだったので、今後コースにいれてほしいです

The weather was nice, the waves were calm, and we were able to enjoy the vibrant blue of the Blue Cave. The round-trip boat cruise was an attraction in itself, and the captain's unique commentary mixed with puns made for an entertaining tour that was quite addictive.

お天気も良く、波も穏やかで、青の洞窟の鮮やかなブルーを鑑賞する事が出来ました。往復のボートクルーズがアトラクションになっていて、船長のダジャレ混じりのユニークなアテンドがクセになる面白ツアーでした。

The weather was favorable, and I was able to complete the hike much more easily than I expected. I had been concerned about leeches, but there were no leeches or even mosquitoes, and I wasn't bitten by any bugs at all. There were cold and delicious spring waters available everywhere, making it easy to gather water, but I was worried about a lack of salt, so I brought salt tablets for heatstroke prevention.

There might be fewer toilets than expected for the length of the journey, with one at the trailhead and one along the trolley path. There are occasionally spaces for portable toilets, so those who are concerned might want to bring one. I have a sensitive stomach, so I felt a bit uneasy when my stomach got cold from sweating, and I thought I should have brought something. If you're using trekking poles, I found it easier to walk with one pole rather than two. I ordered lunch boxes for both breakfast and lunch, but the portions might be a bit too much for women. I felt it was just right to split one into breakfast and lunch. Depending on the situation, there might be things you can't do, but I really appreciated being able to stop by the river on the way back to cool my feet. After that, my steps felt much lighter. I was also grateful for the miso soup provided during lunch. Thank you very much.

天気に恵まれたこともあり、思ったよりもかなり楽に踏破できました。ヒル対策を考えていましたが、ヒルどころか蚊もおらず一切虫に刺されませんでした。至る所で冷たくておいしい湧水がくめるので水の調達は簡単ですが、塩分不足が心配なので、熱中症対策のために私は塩タブレットを持参しました。
トイレは登山口、トロッコ道の途中にひとつ、山に入る前にひとつと行程の長さのわりには少ないかもしれません。携帯トイレ用のスペースは時々あるので、心配な人は携帯トイレを持参した方が良いかもしれません。私はお腹が弱いので、汗でお腹が冷えてきて途中少し不安になり、持参すれば良かったと思いました。ストックを使う場合は2本より1本の方が歩きやすかったです。お弁当を朝昼両方注文しましたが、ちょっと女性には量が多いかもしれません。私はひとつを朝昼に分けて食べるくらいでちょうど良いと感じました。おそらく状況によってできないこともあると思いますが、帰路に川に立ち寄って足を冷やさせてもらえたのがすごく良かったです。その後とても足取りが軽くなりました。ランチの時にお味噌汁を配っていただけたのもありがたかったです。ありがとうございました。

I requested canyoning and kayaking. Despite the last-minute booking, I was grateful for the flexibility in scheduling, such as splitting the activities over two days to ensure a great experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed canyoning in the dynamic rivers of Yakushima. It was breathtaking to see the waterfalls up close while navigating over rocks and through the river! It was a bit chilly in mid-May, but as long as I focused on the activity, it wasn't too bothersome (the good weather helped as well).

Kayaking was perfect for leisurely enjoying the beautiful nature as we slowly moved along the calm river! I participated in the morning session, and it was so pleasant that I almost fell asleep! They also provided SUP, so I got to enjoy both activities.

Mr. Tawaki shared interesting stories about Yakushima's nature and plants, as well as recommendations for shops, making for a wonderful experience beyond just the activities. They even took me to a hot spring, which was a fantastic way to unwind!

I will definitely request again when I visit Yakushima!

沢登りとカヤックをお願いしました。
直前の申し込みだったのに、良い体験になるように二日に分けていただくなど、スケジュールなどとても柔軟に対応していただきありがたかったです。

沢登りは屋久島のダイナミックな川を思う存分に楽しめました。岩の上や川の中を進み滝を間近で見れた時は感動します！
5月中旬だったので少し寒かったですがアクティビティに集中していればそこまで気にならなかったです（天気も良かった面もあります）

カヤックは穏やかな川をゆっくり進むので、綺麗な自然をゆったり感じるには最高です！朝の会に参加しましたが、寝てしまいそうなくらい気持ちいいです！SUPも用意いただけたので二つも楽しめてしまいました。

田脇さんには屋久島の自然、植物の話、オススメのお店などなどお話も楽しくアクティビティ以外でも良い体験をさせていただきました。温泉にも連れて行っていただけて大満喫できます！

また屋久島にいく際は必ずお願いします！

[Overall Tour]
The balance was great, and I really enjoyed the forest. Monkeys and deer occasionally appeared right in front of us, allowing for close observation.
I opted for a rental plan this time. They brought the equipment the day before departure, and I was able to try on the sizes.

[Difficulty]
I have zero mountain climbing experience and consider myself not very fit, but I decided to go for it. (laughs)
Since the ascent and descent time for the Jomon Sugi course is limited, we had to maintain a steady pace. The trolley part was fine, but the mountain path was hard for beginners.

[Guide]
Our guide was Saito, a veteran who was born and raised in Yakushima. He was excellent.
He shared not only knowledge about the mountains and forests but also tips on photography.
He adjusted the pace of the tour and break timings while observing the situation of the climbing group to avoid crowded popular photo spots. Thanks to him, I was able to take beautiful pictures.
Additionally, before we started climbing the main mountain path, he assessed the climbing experience of the group members on a short trail and adjusted the order of ascent and descent.

[Equipment]
Wearing comfortable shoes that are slip-resistant on the mountain path is very important! If you don’t have any, I recommend renting climbing shoes instead of buying new ones.
I saw someone in their 20s who sprained their ankle wearing sneakers on the day.

Even if you have rain gear, a folding umbrella is necessary. It’s useful for when it rains or when eating lunch outdoors... (laughs)

[Others]
Hotel: It takes over an hour for various pickups and to receive lunch boxes. Since the early morning is quite early, I think staying at a hotel in Awa is better for those who want to sleep a bit more.

[ツアー全体]
バランスがよく、森をいっぱい楽しませました。猿と鹿も時々目の前に現れ、近距離で観察できました。
今回レンタル付きプランにしてました。出発前日装備を持って来てくれて、サイズ試しもできました。

[ハードさ]
登山経験ゼロ、体力もないほうと思いますが、思い切り申し込みました。笑
縄文杉コースの上下山時間が制限されているため、どうしても一定な進行ペースを保たないといけません。トロッコの部分は大丈夫でしたが、山道は初心者にとってハードでした。

[ガイドさん]
サイトウさんという屋久島生まれ育ちのベテランガイドさんでした。とても良かったです。
山や森の知識もちろん、撮影方法ま教えてもらいました。
当時登山グループの状況を見ながら、人気撮影スポットの込み具合を避けて、ツアーのペースや休憩タイミングを調整してました。おかげ様で、きれいな写真を撮れました。
また、本番山道登る前に、短い山道で当日メンバーの山登り経験を見極めて、上下山の並び順を調整してました。

[装備]
履き慣れて、山道でもすべりにくいがとても大事です！持ってない場合、新しく買うより、レンタルの登山靴がおすすめです。
当日スニーカーで捻挫した20代の方が見かけました。

レインウェアあっても、折り畳み傘が必要です。雨のとき、露天でお弁当食べるとき用…笑


[その他]
ホテル:色んなところの迎えや、お弁当の受け取りなど含め、あれこれ１時間以上かかります。早朝結構早いので、少しでも多く寝たい方は安房のホテルがいいと思います。

The weather forecast changed to a nice one, and I was able to see something quite rare. The scenery was truly wonderful. The tour guide was very kind, and the driver ensured a safe and comfortable journey.

I was somewhat surprised by the number of foreigners, but I would love to come back to see the Tateyama mountain range, which shows various faces throughout the four seasons. The bento was also very delicious, and I was extremely satisfied.

　天気も良い予報に変わり、なかなか見れないものをみれました。本当に素晴らしい景色でした。添乗員の方も大変親切でしたし、運転手さんも安全運転で快適な旅でした。
　外人さんが多かったのは若干びっくりしていますが、春夏秋冬いろいろな顔を見せる立山連峰をまた見にきたいと思いました。
　お弁当も大変美味しく、大満足です。

I was impressed by how well the tour was programmed, with stops that were neither too short nor too long. I truly enjoyed the lunch in the snowfields of Midagahara and the strolls around Murodou, including the Snow Wall. I'm really glad I participated.

Especially, our guide, Mr. Otsuka, was knowledgeable and well-connected throughout Tateyama, providing precise instructions on how to best explore each stop, making for an extremely comfortable tour.

何箇所かの立ち寄り先があったのですが、そのどれもが短すぎず長すぎず本当によくプログラムされたツアーであることに感心しました。
弥陀ヶ原の雪原でのお弁当や雪の大谷をはじめとする室堂周辺の散策などどれもが楽しく本当に参加してよかったなと感じております。
特にガイドの大塚さんは博識であり立山のあちらこちらで顔が効き、どの立ち寄り先に於いてもどう見て回るのが良いか的確に指示していただき極めて快適なツアーを演出していただきました。
今回はこんなに素敵なツアーを企画していただき本当にありがとうございました。

I participated in snorkeling alone. There were a few other solo participants, and it didn't feel awkward at all, which was nice. Most of the participants were from overseas.

Positive points:
- The staff were calm and professional, which was great.
- The transportation made it easy to get to and from the location.

Concerns:
- At the shop, there were many people waiting from the time of changing clothes until the boat departure. If you don't ask, you won't receive the next instructions.
- Due to the large number of participants, the preparation time was long, making the time spent in the water feel short. I spent more time on the boat than in the water, just going down, swimming a bit, and coming back up repeatedly.
- In the changing room, there was also a wait for changing clothes and showers. The waiting time during the transfer was short, so it wasn't too much of a hassle, but some people might find it stressful.

The weather was cloudy, and we didn't see any sea turtles, so it just felt like we visited three spots. If you're considering the Kerama Islands, it might be worth looking into direct tours from the islands. Personally, I was drawn in by the top rating, but my impression was that it was neither particularly good nor bad.

1人でシュノーケリングで参加しました。
１人参加はチラホラおり、変に浮くような感じでもなくよかったです。参加者は、海外の方が非常に多かったです。

好かった点
○お店の方は淡々と対応してくれて、どなたも
ビジネスライクでよかったです。
○送迎があって行き帰りが楽でした。

気になった点
○お店で着替えからの船の出港まで、人数が多くて
待たされるところ。
自分から聞かないと次の案内をされません。
○人数が多いこともあり、準備時間が長くて、
海中にいる時間が短く感じる
船の上にいた時間の方が長いです。
潜って少し周遊して上がるの繰り返しでして。。
○更衣室で着替え、シャワーも順番待ちです。
移動時間中で、短時間なので苦にはならない
ですが、ストレス感じる人はいるかもなと。

天気も曇りだったのと、ウミガメに関してもスルーでして、ただ３箇所回ったっていう印象でした。
慶良間諸島であれば、島の方からの直接ツアーも視野にいれてもいいかと思います。
個人的には、評価１位につられて参加しましたが、良くも悪くもなくという印象でした。

It seems that the guides had discussions among themselves and organized the groups by targeting specific age ranges. They made sure that I, being the oldest, could walk right behind the guide. Thanks to that consideration, I was able to reach Jomon Sugi safely. I am grateful to have encountered Jomon Sugi, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There was some discord within the group, as there seemed to be a complainer who had misunderstood things.

沢山のガイドさん同士の話し合いなのか年齢等にターゲットを絞りグループ分けをしていたこと。そして1番年長の私がガイドさんのすぐ後ろを歩けるように配慮してくれました。おかげさまで無事縄文杉に辿りつけました。一生に一度最初で最後の縄文杉に出会えたことに感謝です。グループの中で不協和音というかクレーマーが居ましたが勘違いが高じてしまったようです。

The weather forecast predicted rain. Yakushima is mostly rainy throughout the year. With low expectations, I packed my rain gear and boarded the high-speed ferry. Upon arriving at the port, while walking to my accommodation, I received a reassuring call from the person in charge confirming the meeting time, location, and items to bring.

The next morning, a bus arrived at 4 AM to pick us up, but it was fully booked due to Golden Week. As soon as I sat down, the guide greeted us. He was very experienced and seemed to know everything about Yakushima, answering any questions we had with confidence.

We walked 8 kilometers along the tracks of the trolley train from the trailhead, and the guide's stories about Yakushima's nature, history, and the characteristics of the Yakusugi trees were continuous and informative. The walking pace was adjusted for beginners, which minimized fatigue. Thanks to that, I was able to finally meet the Jomon Sugi. We hardly encountered any rain, and occasionally we could see blue skies. Thank you for a truly wonderful memory.

天気予報は雨。1年のほとんどは雨の屋久島。あまり期待せず、雨具をカバンに入れて高速船に乗りました。港に到着し、宿まで歩いている途中に担当の方から、集合時間と場所、持ち物の確認の電話があり、とても安心しました。
　翌日朝4時に迎えのバスがやってきましたが、ゴールデンウィークと言うこともあって、満席状態でした。席に座ったらすぐに担当のガイドさんがご挨拶をしてくれました。大変、経験豊かな方で屋久島のことなら何でも知っているとお話しされていたように、何を聞いても答えていただける頼もしい方でした。
　登山口からトロッコ列車の線路に沿って8キロ歩きましたが、ガイドさんのお話がほぼ絶えることなく続き、屋久島の自然、歴史、屋久杉の特徴など詳しく教えて頂きました。
　歩くペースも初心者に合わせてくださったので疲れも最小限に済みました。おかげで念願の縄文杉に出会うことができました。雨にもほとんど降られることがなく、時々青空も見られました。本当にいい思い出をありがとうございました。

You can visit the boardwalk without a reservation, but the scenery is different, and the guide provides a wealth of information, so I recommend the ground tour. The day before, a brown bear appeared on the course, causing the tour to be canceled, but on this day, we completed it without any issues. Suddenly, we spotted a black woodpecker flying by, heard the call of a cuckoo, and just when I thought we could see Rausu-dake beautifully in the clear weather, when we arrived at the second lake, mist rolled in, creating a fantastical scene with the island shrouded in fog, making it feel like the season was changing.

木道は予約なしでも行けますが景色が違うのと、ガイドさんの解説が豊富なので地上ツアーがおすすめです。
前日はヒグマがコース上に現れてツアー中止になったそうですが、この日は無事完走。
いきなりクマゲラが飛ぶのを見かけ、ツツドリの鳴き声、晴れて羅臼岳がきれいに見えたと思ったら、二湖に来たときには霧が出て中の島が霧に烟る幻想的な景色となったりと季節が変わるかのようなツアーを楽しめました。

I went mangrove canoeing and sightseeing at Yubu Island. With thorough preparation, we were able to efficiently experience and tour from the morning until around 4:00 PM. We were blessed with good weather, and the guides were kind and dedicated in their assistance, making it a very memorable experience.

天気に恵まれ、ガイドの方々は親切に一生懸命ご案内してくださったので、非常に良い思い出になりました。

I was honestly anxious because I'm not good at exercise or swimming, but from the very first greeting, the instructor Mizuki-chan got everyone excited, which lifted my spirits.

It was my first time kayaking, and I couldn't seem to move forward no matter how hard I paddled, which made me laugh. But somehow, I managed to reach the entrance of the dome.

Inside the dome, it was mystical, and I was impressed by the scenery that nature has created over a long period. The water was really cold!

As for snorkeling, to be honest, I didn't have high expectations about seeing a sea turtle; I thought it would be nice if I got lucky. But there it was! It was having a meal on the seabed! There were so many people around that I couldn't take my time to watch it, but I made sure to remember it well.

I was really anxious about swimming, so I relied heavily on the instructor Mizuki-chan and was holding onto a float the whole time. Thank you for your help!

I was also happy to see a lionfish and a needlefish besides the sea turtle. And of course, this little one in the picture! So cute! Mizuki-chan dove multiple times to take lots of photos for us.

It became a wonderful memory. Thank you so much!

運動も泳ぎも苦手で、正直不安だったんですけど、はじめの挨拶のときからインストラクターのみずきちゃんが盛り上げてくれたので、テンション上がりました。
カヤック初めてで、漕いでも漕いでも進まなくて笑っちゃいました。でもなんとかドーム入口までたどり着くことができました。
ドーム内は神秘的で、自然が長い年月をかけて作り上げた光景に感激しました。水冷たかったー笑
シュノーケリングでは正直、ウミガメは運が良ければ会えればいいなー程度であまり期待はしてなかったんです。
でもいた！海底でお食事してました！周りに人が集まってたのでゆっくり見ることはできませんでしたが、しっかり目に焼き付けました。
泳ぎがとにかく不安だった自分は、インストラクターのみずきちゃんに頼りきりで、ずっと浮き輪につかまってました。お世話になりましたw
ウミガメ意外にもミノカサゴとヤガラに会えたのは嬉しかったなー。あとやっぱり、画像のこの子ね！可愛いよねー。
みずきちゃんが、何度も潜ってたくさん写真を撮ってくれました。

My first SUP experience was so much fun! I was taught the basics of how to ride, and I jumped right in. At first, I was a bit hesitant, but once I got the hang of it, even someone like me, who is a beginner and not very athletic, was able to glide smoothly across the water, which was really enjoyable!

On the day of the experience, the wind was a bit strong and the waves were somewhat rough, so there were times when I couldn't move as I wanted, but being surrounded by the beautiful sea and feeling the ocean breeze and the sway of the waves while doing SUP was truly refreshing and fun.

The guide took photos for us along the way and shared information about the natural environment of Kabira Bay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

They picked me up from the hotel and dropped me off at a public shower room in Ishigaki City on the way back, which was really helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

初めてのSUP体験とても楽しかったです！SUPの基本的な乗り方を教えてもらって、すぐに実践。初めは腰が引けてしまっていましたが、コツを掴むと初心者で運動神経の悪い自分でもすぐにスイスイと進むことができるようになり、面白かったです！

当日は少し風が強く波がやや強かったため、漕いでも漕いでも思い通りに進むことができない時もありましたが、綺麗な海に囲まれて海風や波の揺れを感じながらSUPをするのは本当に爽快で楽しかったです。

ガイドさんが途中途中で記念撮影をしてくださったり、川平湾の自然環境などについてお話をしてくださったおかげでさらに楽しめました。

行きはホテルでピックアップ、帰りは石垣市内の公共シャワールームまで送って下さったのも助かりました。楽しい体験をありがとうございました！

On the moonlit night, the constellations were not very visible, but that was fine. The guide was bright and attentive, ensuring everyone was treated equally, which I believe made families with small children satisfied, and my friends and I also had a great time. Additionally, when the guide came to pick us up at the hotel, they kindly mentioned that the weather might not be very good today and encouraged us to let them know if we wanted to cancel, which was heartwarming.

月夜で、星座はあまり良く見えませんでしたが、それはそれで、良かったです。
ガイドさんが、明るく丁寧に全員に平等に目配りしてくれて、小さいお子さんがいるご家庭も満足だったと思いますし、友人と参加した私達も楽しかったです。
また、ホテルにお迎えに来て下さった際、ガイドさんが、今日は天気が余り良くないかもしれないので、もしキャンセルされるなら言ってくださいと声がけ頂き、ほっこりしました。

I enjoyed the sunset while leisurely paddling a canoe. SUP is difficult for balance, but with a canoe, even those without much stamina can manage! If you receive a simple paddling lesson, there's no need to worry even if it's your first time.

ノンビリと、カヌーをこぎながら日没をたのしみました。サップはバランスが難しいですが、カヌーなら体力がない人でも大丈夫です！
簡単な漕ぎ方のレクチャーを受ければ、初めての人でも全然心配なしです。

I participated in a solo trip to Miyako Island for the first time. The guide was very friendly and easy to talk to, and the assistance was great, making it a very enjoyable experience. I also encountered a sea turtle, and they took beautiful photos, creating wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

It was raining in the morning, but the advice on hiking style was spot on, allowing us to walk comfortably and progress without feeling uncomfortable in the rain. After that, the pacing and encouragement until the goal were also precise, and we were able to see the Jomon Sugi safely. We even made it back to the trailhead!

午前中雨が降っていたのですが、登山スタイル等のアドバイスが的確で、雨の中でも歩きやすく不快なおもいもせず前に進むことができました。
その後もペース配分やゴールまでの声かけ等も的確で無事に縄文杉を見ることできました。登山口までも戻れました！

There were experienced hikers participating in the tour as well. It was spring break, the weather was great, and it was quite crowded, but the guide skillfully timed the photo opportunities and breaks. Even someone who doesn't usually exercise was able to complete the hike with some energy left.

登山慣れしている方もツアーに参加されていました。春休みで天気も良く、大変混雑していましたが、ガイドさんが写真や休憩のタイミングを上手く測って下さいました。普段運動しない人間でも、余力を残して歩き切ることができました。

I thought it would mainly be kayaking, but it was a relaxed tour where we learned interesting facts about mangroves and the ecosystem. It would be even more fun if there was more time for serious paddling.

カヤックを漕ぐのかメインかと思っていましたが、マングローブや生態系についての豆知識を聞きながらのゆったりしたツアーでした。ガッツリ漕ぐ時間があるとさらに楽しいです。

The weather was great, and I was able to see many sea turtles! Kometchi-san taught me various facts about sea turtles, which was very educational. I also received information about recommended spots in the area, which was very helpful. Thank you!

I was quite anxious during my first kayaking experience, but the instructor was very kind and taught me well! It was also really enjoyable to talk about Ishigaki Island and nature! The mangroves I saw for the first time were very mystical and beautiful! I definitely want to experience it again!

I was planning to watch the sunset, but due to cloudy weather, they looked for ways for the participants to enjoy themselves! They attend to you kindly and politely, so even beginners can feel at ease!

My long-held dream has come true. I had been cherishing the thought of meeting Jomon Sugi for a long time, and after many decades, I finally did. Now in my late 60s, I regret not coming sooner. It's better to go earlier; you need physical strength. To meet that cedar, you have to walk a long distance. In that sense, it is worth it!

長年の夢が叶いました。
縄文杉に会うのをずっと心に温めていましたが、何十年も経ってやっとでした。
60代後半でしたので、何故もっと早く来なかったのかと後悔してます。早い方がいいです。体力が要ります。あの杉に出会う為には長距離を歩かなくてはなりません。そう言う意味では価値ありです！
