It was thrilling and exciting to see so many creatures for the first time. I was surprised to see a large coconut crab! I felt the greatness of Okinawa with high-end ingredients wandering around. The guide caught a coconut crab for us, and I was able to see and even touch it up close; it was a first-time experience for me!

Near the sea, there were many hermit crabs, making it lively and fun. Fortunately, it was sunny, and the stars were incredibly beautiful. I was worried about whether I would be able to see fireflies due to the season, but I was happy to find a few. I was moved by seeing fireflies for the first time.

はじめて見た生き物だらけでドキドキワクワクでした。大きいヤシガニが見れて驚きでした！高級食材がそこら辺をウロウロしていて沖縄の凄さを感じました。ヤシガニをガイドの方が捕まえてくれて、間近でヤシガニを見れて触ることまでできて、はじめての経験でした！
海の近くではヤドカリもたくさんいて賑やかで楽しかったです。
運良く晴れていたので星がめちゃくちゃ綺麗でした。
ホタルは時期的に見られるか心配でしたが、何匹か見つけることができて嬉しかったです^ ^はじめてなホタルに感動しました。

It was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind thanks to the thorough instructions provided. I had fun paddling while sitting, lying down, and moving freely alongside other groups! Instead of the beach area often featured in brochures, we were guided to the deeper areas surrounded by trees, allowing us to enjoy a different atmosphere of Kabira Bay's scenery compared to the glass-bottom boat experience.

In the afternoon, we explored the Blue Cave and had a snorkeling experience. I put on a wetsuit for the first time and was excited to reach a cave surrounded by crystal-clear blue water. The scenery was truly breathtaking, showcasing the unique beauty of Ishigaki. While snorkeling, I swam from the shallow coral area into the deeper, clearer blue sea, where I encountered small fish like clownfish and slightly larger, shimmering blue fish. Although it was my first time snorkeling, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind thanks to the kind and attentive support from our guide, making it a lifelong memory! Even if you're nervous about trying it for the first time, there's no need to worry! With the help of the very friendly guide, you're sure to create wonderful memories with your loved ones!

初めてのSUPでしたが、丁寧にレクチャーしていただき安心して楽しむことができました。座って漕いでみたり、寝そべってみたり、他のグループと一緒に進む形でも自由度が高く楽しかったです！パンフレットによく載っているビーチ側ではなく、奥の木々が生えたあたりまで案内していただくので、川平湾の景色としてもグラスボートとはまた違った雰囲気を楽しめると思いました！

午後は青の洞窟散策、シュノーケリング体験を行いました。はじめてのウェットスーツに袖を通し、ワクワクしながらたどり着いたところには青く透き通る水を囲んだ洞窟がありました。まさに石垣ならではの景色に度肝を抜かれました。そして、シュノーケリングでは浅瀬のサンゴが目の前に広がるところから少し深く青く透き通った海を泳ぎながら、カクレクマノミのような小さなお魚さんや少し大きな青く輝くお魚さんにも出会うことができました。はじめてのシュノーケリングでしたが、優しく手厚いサポートをしてくださるガイドさんのおかげで安心して楽しむことができ、一生の思い出になりました！初めてで不安の方でも問題無し！とっても親切なガイドさんに身を委ね、大切な人と最高の思い出が出来ること間違いなしです！！

The experience was worth much more than 10,000 yen. The guide was kind, there were some small souvenirs, entrance fees were included, and the lunch was delicious. It was really great. With cheaper tours, you often have to pay for things yourself at each stop, which is very inconvenient. I wonder if VELTRA is better or if Jumbo Tours is better. Both are probably well-researched. VELTRA's rating went up by one point, and Jumbo's rating also increased by one point. Thank you.

１００００円とは思えない内容でした。ガイドさんは親切だし、ちょっとしたお土産あるし、入園料などはコミコミだし、昼食はおいしいし、とてもよかった。安いツアーだといった先々で自分での支払いがありとても不便です。ベルトラがいいのか、ジャンボツアーがいいのか。おそらくどちらも研究されているのでしょう。VELTRAの評価が１ポイント上がり、ジャンボのポイントも1つ上がりました。ありがとう。

Since we planned to go to Iriomote Island after the tour, the ferry schedule worked out perfectly for our travel day! It was a bit cloudy and chilly, but since I couldn't swim, the guide taught us how to move in the water, and I was able to get around the sea area. I was healed by seeing beautiful fish! We also got to see the island, and the friendly guides made it a fun experience!

ツアー後に西表島に行く予定だったのでフェリーの時間的にも余裕があり移動日にも丁度良かったです！
少し曇っていて寒くはありましたが、泳げないのでガイドさんが水中での動き方を教えていただいて海近辺は動けるようになりました✨

We arrived at the shop by car in the evening. While gazing at the tanks in the shop, it was time for our explanation. We then walked from the shop to the kayak launch area. The calmness of the sea when we emerged from the mangrove forest was very pleasant. The sunset visible through the gaps in the clouds was beautiful and soothing.

車で向かってショップに着いたのが夕方でした。ショップの水槽を眺めていると時間になりました。そこで説明を聞いて、ショップから歩いてカヤック乗り場に向かいました。マングローブの森を抜けて大海原に出た時の夕凪はとても気持ちよかったです。雲の切れ間から見えた夕陽がとても綺麗で癒されました。

The sea in Kerama was beautiful. I was worried that it might still be cold in March, but I was comfortable in a 5mm wetsuit. At the first spot, I encountered a sea turtle and swam slowly together. It was wonderful! The staff were very kind, and it was a reassuring tour. Especially, thank you to Shimizu, who guided the snorkeling team. The explanation about the fish was interesting. Thank you very much. I will definitely participate again.

慶良間の海、きれいでした。３月はまだ寒いかな？と心配していましたが、５ミリウエットスーツで快適。最初のポイントでウミガメ君に遭遇。ゆっくり一緒に泳ぎました。うれしい！
スタッフの皆さんがとても親切で安心なツアーでした。特にスノーケリングチームのガイドをしてくれたShimizuさん、お世話になりました。サカナの解説、面白かったです。ありがとうございました。また、必ず参加します。

We were blessed with great weather for two days, and we also met our local guide, Mr. Taniyama. The scenery was beautiful, and it was so much fun to hear stories that only locals know, as well as anecdotes from his time at Yakushima Junior High School. After taking pictures of everyone and the scenery with my phone, I received them via AirDrop, which created wonderful memories. Thank you so much for the two days!

二日間大変良い天気に恵まれて、また、地元出身のガイド谷山様に出会いました。景色はもちろん、地元しか知らない話や屋久島小中学時のエビソードなど、とても楽しかったです。そして、自分の携帯でみんなの写真や景色を撮った後、Air Dorpで送っていただき、素晴らしい思い出になりました。二日間本当にありがとうございました

I used this service for the first time in Yakushima. I had been doing some hiking and trekking, so I wasn't worried about my physical stamina, but considering the possibility of heavy rain, I decided to book a tour.

Both days were sunny, and I didn't have to use my rain gear, but I was able to have a different experience than I would have on my own, and I think it was a good decision in the end.

On the first day, the Jomon Sugi was great; the guide's explanations and pacing were excellent, and I think we arrived smoothly. However, the return trip on the trolley path was unexpectedly tough... I would have struggled without the guide and the other participants. I'm glad I went with the tour, haha.

The second day at Shiratani Unsuikyo and Taiko Rock was so much fun! The scenery while listening to the guide's knowledge about the plants and the whole of Yakushima was a different experience. There was a steep climb at the end to Taiko Rock, but a couple in their 70s made it up as well. If you have the time, I definitely recommend the tour to Taiko Rock!

All the participants said they were glad they joined for both days! Above all, considering the fatigue from the return trip from Jomon Sugi, I appreciated being taken back to our accommodation, haha.

初めての屋久島で利用いたしました。登山やトレッキングはしておりましたので、体力的に不安はありませんでしたが、大雨が降った際などのことを考え、ツアーをお頼みすることにしました。
2日間とも晴れており、レインウェアを使う機会はございませんでしたが、個人でとは違った経験ができ、結果的に良い判断だったと思います。

1日目の縄文杉はガイドさんのお話やペース配分がよく、すんなりと到着出来たと思います。ただ、帰りのトロッコ道が思いの外つらく、、、私はガイドさんや参加者の皆さんがいなければへこたれていました。ツアーで良かったと思いました笑

2日目の白谷雲水峡、太鼓岩はすごく楽しかったです！ガイドさんの植物や屋久島全体に関する知識を伺いながら観る景色は、また違った景観になります。太鼓岩は最後急登がありましたが、70代御夫婦も登ってらっしゃいました。
時間があれば是非太鼓岩までのツアーをお勧めいたします！

参加者の皆さんは全員2日間参加して良かったと言われていました！！
何より縄文杉の帰りの疲労を考えると宿泊先まで送って頂けたのが良いと思います笑

The weather was favorable, and I was able to see Jomon Sugi, Taiko Rock, and the moss-covered forest beautifully. (I also got to meet the Yakushima monkeys and deer.)

I am very grateful to the guide who accompanied us on the challenging route, considering the weather on the day, so that we could enjoy the beautiful scenery and took many photos and videos.

I experienced the best views and a sense of accomplishment in my life so far.

天気にも恵まれ、縄文杉も太鼓岩も苔むす森も綺麗に見ることが出来ました。(屋久猿と屋久鹿にも会えました)
綺麗な景色が見られるように、当日の天候を考えて敢えて大変な順路を一緒に付き合ってくれ、かつ多くの写真や動画を撮影してくれたガイドさんには大変感謝してます。
今までの人生で1番の景色と達成感を味わうことが出来ました。

I participated in a one-day snorkeling plan.

The guide explained various things about the coral reefs, Iriomote Island, and the nature of Iriomote Island, which deepened my understanding and was great.

Since it was snorkeling with live coral reefs, I was able to see many colorful fish, and I saw a lot of clownfish due to the season.

In kayaking, the water flow was gentle, so we could glide smoothly, and being close to nature was enjoyable. Trekking was also fun.

The day before, the weather forecast predicted strong winds for the day of snorkeling, and I was anxious that I might not be able to participate. However, they assured me that if that were the case, they would suggest an alternative plan, so I was relieved to be able to join. Originally, the plan was to kayak in the morning and snorkel in the afternoon, but they changed the schedule to have snorkeling in the morning based on the weather, allowing us to enjoy both the morning and afternoon. It was great that they were flexible in adjusting the schedule.

Next time, I definitely want to join the tour for SAP and the limestone caves!

シュノーケリングの1日プランに参加しました。

ガイドのおにいさんが色々と珊瑚礁や西表島や西表島の自然について説明もしてくださり理解も深まりよかったです。

生きた珊瑚礁のシュノーケリングなだけあって、色んな鮮やかなお魚も見れましたし、シーズン的にカクレクマノミもたくさん見れました。

カヤックでは、水の流れが穏やかなところだったため、スイスイと行けましたし、自然に近く、またトレッキングもたのしかったです。

前日に参加当日の天候が風が強い予想で、シュノーケリングに参加でないかもしれないが、その場合は別のプランを提案して下さるとのことでドキドキでしたが、無事に参加できました。本来は午前がカヤックで午後がシュノーケリングでしたが、天候を見て、午前にシュノーケリングにしてくださったことにより、午前も午後も満喫できました。臨機応変にスケジュールを変更してくださるのも良かったです。

今度はSAPと鍾乳洞のツアーも是非参加したいです！

I challenged myself to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time in my life! I wanted to see the sunset, but unfortunately, the sky was cloudy, and I couldn't see the complete sunset. However, I was able to catch glimpses of sunlight here and there! Although the plan was for the sunset, they also suggested a sunrise plan based on the weather conditions of the day, which was very considerate. They even adjusted the timing to fit my schedule. I hope to challenge myself again in the summer someday. Thank you very much!

人生初めてのSUPに挑戦しました！
夕日が見たかったのですが、曇り空で完全な夕日を見ることはできませんでしたが、
ところどころで陽の光を見ることができました！
プランは夕日でしたが、その日の天候状況をみて朝日のプランも提案してくれたりと、至れり尽くせりでした。こちらの都合に合わせた時間帯までに終わるよう調整もしてもらえました。いつか、夏にまたチャレンジしたいと思ってます。ありがとうございました！

About a 30-minute drive from the city, we found the Blue Cave! Inside the Blue Cave, you can really understand how the rocks have been worn down over hundreds or thousands of years, and how natural crystals have formed. It’s clear that ancient people cherished this place as a sacred site. Just as I saw in pictures, it was a beautiful location. After visiting the Blue Cave, we swam over the ocean trench, enjoying the sight of fish and coral, which felt wonderful! Both of us were a bit anxious since it was our first time snorkeling, but the guide led us, so as long as we held on, even those who can’t swim can enjoy it safely. The clownfish (Nemo) was adorable. In the end, we all gathered in a circle underwater to take a photo. For those participating as a group, I think it will especially become a memorable page of youth.

Since it was March, I was worried about the cold and hesitantly joined, but the water temperature was slightly low, yet wearing a wetsuit made it comfortable once we got in. After getting out of the water, I didn’t feel cold at all. It’s better to bring a towel from the hotel to dry off. This applies not just to this tour, but for those who usually suffer from seasickness or motion sickness, I recommend bringing motion sickness medication. The chances seem very low, but one of my companions experienced seasickness (I learned about seasickness for the first time…!).

All in all, we had a wonderful time.

市内から30分程度車を走らせた先に青の洞窟はありました！青の洞窟の中は何百年、何千年もの年月をかけて岩が削れたり、天然水晶ができたり、、昔の人が神聖な場所として大切にしていたことがよく理解できます。写真で見ていた通り、綺麗な場所でした。青の洞窟の後は海溝の上を泳ぎながら魚やサンゴをみながらスイスイ泳いで気持ちよかった！2人とも初めてのシュノーケリングで不安な気持ちもありましたが、ガイドさんがリード?で引っ張ってくれるのでそれに捕まっていれば、泳げない人も安心して楽しめます。カクレクマノミ(ニモ)が可愛かったです。最後はみんなで水中で輪になって写真を撮りました。団体で参加される方には特に青春の一ページとして思い出の一枚になると思います。

3月だったので寒さを心配して恐る恐る参加しましたが、水温は若干低めですがウェットスーツを着るので入ってしまえばきにならなかったです。海からでた後も寒いという感覚は全くなかったです。タオルは身体を拭く用にホテルから持参したほうが良いですね。こちらのツアーに限らずですが普段から船酔いや車酔いがひどい方は酔い止めをお持ちすることをおすすめします。確率はすごく低いみたいですが同伴者が波酔いしてました。(波酔いというものを初めて知りました…！)

なにがともあれ、楽しいひと時を過ごせました。

I had a very enjoyable time! The guide was knowledgeable, and in just two hours, I learned a lot about not only the wildlife but also the plants and the history of Okinawa. We were all thrilled to encounter a large coconut crab, which is a threatened species and has lived for 30 years, as well as a baby-sized coconut crab under 10 years old, twice! We also saw owls, bats, hermit crabs, and more. As people who are used to visiting zoos, we were captivated by the vibrant experience of exploring nature. We shone our flashlights into the darkness and listened closely to faint sounds. The excitement grew as we imagined what might be out there. There were moments when a rhinoceros beetle flew right at us, and once I thought I saw a rhinoceros beetle but it turned out to be a cockroach, which added to the adventure. This became an unforgettable memory that will surely be a great story over drinks in the future.

とても楽しい時間を過ごしました！ガイドさんの知識が豊富で、生物のことはもちろん、草花や沖縄の歴史など2時間でたくさんのことを知ることができました。絶滅危惧種の、30年生きている主のような大きなヤシガニと10年未満のベビーサイズのヤシガニに2回も遭遇して一同大興奮。その他、フクロウやコウモリ、ヤドカリなどなど。動物園に行き慣れている私たちは、ライブ感溢れる自然探索に魅了されました。懐中電灯で暗闇を照らしたり、微かな音に耳を澄ましたり。。どこに、なにがいるんだろう？と探検家になったつもりでワクワク感が高まります。カブトムシが正面から飛んできたり、カブトムシかと思ったらゴキブリだったことなどハプニングもあり、、これからもお酒のネタになるような忘れられない思い出になりました。

We boarded the ferry from Ishigaki Island at 8:30 and set off! We were picked up at Uehara Port, and just 10 minutes after arriving, we were able to get on a canoe for a mangrove exploration! We went ashore deep in the mangroves and started tracking! The guide kindly taught us about the creatures and plants! The exploration of the limestone cave was a very precious experience as it remains in its natural state! We were scheduled to go to Baccarat Island in the afternoon, but it was canceled due to weather... However, the alternative river play was very thrilling and quite enjoyable! Overall, it was a highly satisfying tour! I hope to challenge Baccarat Island again someday!

石垣島からのフェリーに8時半に乗船し出発！
上原港にお迎えに来ていただき、ついてから10分後にはカヌーに乗ってマングローブ探検をすることができました！マングローブの奥で岸に上がりトラッキング開始！ガイドさんが生き物や植物について丁寧に教えてくれます！鍾乳洞の探検では自然のままの状態で残っている鍾乳洞なのでとても貴重な体験でした！午後はバカラ島に行く予定でしたが、天候により中止、、しかし、代替えの川遊びはとてもスリリングでかなり楽しめました！一日通してかなり満足度の高いツアーでした！
またいつかバカラ島にチャレンジしたいとおもいます！

The pickup at 8 PM and drop-off at the hotel was around 9:20 PM. So, there was only a little over an hour of actual tour time, which could use some improvement. However, I was able to see coconut crabs and large hermit crabs. I also learned how to identify birds by their calls! The guide was very clear and entertaining! I wish the tour could be a bit longer.

20時迎えでホテル送りが21時20分ぐらいでした。なので1時間ちょっとしかツアー中身としてないのが、少し改善の余地ありそうです。しかし、ヤシガニや大きなヤドカリを見つけられました。また、鳥鳴き声などで見分ける方法も教えていただきました！ガイドさんもすごいわかりやすく、面白かったです！もう少しツアー時間長くして欲しいなー

It was amazing and I really had a great time! The instructors were cool and incredibly kind! They even filmed with a drone, creating fantastic footage that became a wonderful memory!! Next, I'm going to see the goats.

It was a course from Shiratani Unsuikyo to Jomon Sugi and the Arakawa Trailhead! It was quite long and hard, but the guide's stories were interesting, so I was never bored. They also made great use of a GoPro and smartphone cameras, taking lots of photos!

白谷雲水峡から縄文杉、荒川登山口までのコースでした！かなり長く、ハードでしたが、ガイドの方のお話が面白く全く退屈しませんでした。またゴープロやスマホなカメラ、アプリを駆使し、たくさん写真を撮ってくださいました！

Instructor Tenshin is an incredibly nice person. It became a lifelong memory. Thank you very much! ^_^

This time, I wanted to have many experiences on Iriomote Island, so I joined this tour. Due to strong winds, we couldn't land on Barasu Island, but we experienced mangrove SUP on Iriomote Island and a water buffalo cart ride to Yufu Island. The boat ride to Iriomote Island can be quite bumpy, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're prone to seasickness. It was my first time trying SUP, but I was able to stay on without falling even once. The guide took photos at various points, allowing us to capture memories. For those who want to take photos with their smartphones, I think it's a good idea to put them in a waterproof case and hang them around your neck. I recommend the experience of traveling to the island by water buffalo cart, as it's not something you can do every day. The guide provided various explanations, making the tour even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we couldn't land on Barasu Island this time, so I want to try again.

今回は西表島でたくさんの体験をしたいと思い、このツアーに参加しました。
強風のためバラス島には上陸できず、西表島マングローブSUPと由布島までの水牛車を体験しました。
西表島までの船は結構揺れるため、酔いやすい方は酔い止めを飲んでいくことをおすすめします。
SUPは初体験だったのですが、1度も落ちることなく乗ることができました。
ガイドさんがところどころで写真を撮ってくれるので写真にも思い出を残すことができました。自分のスマホで写真を撮りたい人は防水ケースに入れて首からぶら下げておくと良いと思います。
島まで水牛車で移動するという体験はなかなかできないと思うのでおすすめです。
ガイドさんが色々説明してくれるのでより楽しいツアーになりました。今回は残念ながらバラス島に上陸できなかったのでリベンジしたいと思います。

This tour was originally supposed to include a SUP experience and a landing on Barasu Island, but due to the wind, we went to Yufu Island by water buffalo instead, even though the weather was nice.

It takes about an hour by boat from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island, but the boat rocked more than expected, which made me feel seasick. I recommend taking motion sickness medication on the day of the trip. I tried to buy some motion sickness medicine after arriving at Iriomote Island, but it wasn't available, so it's best to purchase it before departing from Ishigaki Island.

Once we arrived at Iriomote Island, we started with the SUP experience. It was really fun to paddle through the mangroves, standing and sitting while figuring things out. It was my first time on a SUP, but I think anyone can do it easily, so while you can choose a canoe, I recommend the SUP! After that, we rode water buffalo to Yufu Island, where we were able to see various beautiful views and spots.

Additionally, our tour guide was very attentive to us, and even though I was worried about dropping my phone in the mangroves, the guide took pictures and sent them to us later, which provided great support and peace of mind!

If you want to have a fulfilling day of sightseeing on Iriomote Island, I think this tour is a great choice!

今回のツアーは本来ならばsup体験とバラス島上陸でしたが、天気は良かったものの風の影響でバラス島上陸の代わりに、水牛で由布島に行くというものになりました。
石垣島から西表島に船で約1時間移動するのですが、思いの外船が揺れて船酔いしてしまったので、当日酔い止めを飲んで行くことをお勧めします。西表島に着いてから帰りの分の酔い止めを買おうとしたのですが売っていなかったので、石垣島を出発する前に購入することをお勧めします。
西表島に着いてからはsup体験からでしたが、マングローブをsupで立ったり座ったり試行錯誤しながら奥まで進んでいくのがとても楽しかったです。初めてのsupでしたが、誰でも簡単にできると思うのでカヌーも選べますがsupをオススメします!その後水牛に乗り由布島に行きましたが、その先でもいろいろな景色やスポットを見れて良かったです!
また、ツアーガイドさんも丁寧に私たちのことを見てくれていましたし、マングローブで携帯など落とすのが不安でもガイドさんが写真を撮って後で送ってくれるのでいろんなサポートがあり安心でした!
約1日西表島で充実した観光を行いたいならこのツアーがいいと思いました!

Originally, I planned to participate on a day with heavy rain, so I contacted them to cancel, but they kindly rescheduled for the next day. The weather was great the following day, and fortunately, the tour was private! The sea kayaking at the beach was at a hidden gem with no one around, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful ocean. It was my first experience with drone filming, and I was extremely satisfied with the amazing video showcasing Okinawa's wonderful sea!

I was disappointed that I couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but the nearby snorkeling spot had more fish than I imagined, making it very worthwhile! The instructor and the representative were both friendly, and I truly enjoyed the tour. I'm really glad I didn't give up and cancel!

I highly recommend this to anyone who has the opportunity to go to Okinawa! It will be the best memory!!!

もともと予定の参加日が土砂降りの大雨だったので、断念しようとご連絡しましたが、快く翌日に振り替えてくださりました。
翌日は天気にも恵まれ、幸運にもツアーは貸切！
ビーチでのシーカヤックは穴場スポットで誰もおらず、綺麗な海を満喫できました。
ドローン撮影も初めての体験でしたが、頂いたデータを見て沖縄の素晴らしい海が一望できる最高の動画で大満足です！！！
青の洞窟は行けず残念でしたが、近場のシュノーケリングスポットは想像以上の魚が沢山いて、見応え満載でした！

This was my first time in Ishigaki Island, and unfortunately, since it was February in winter, I was worried about how much I could enjoy the sea activities. However, at my wife's strong insistence, we signed up for this tour. As a 44-year-old indoor person, I was concerned, so I chose canoeing, while my 47-year-old wife was eager to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). While we waited for our guide at the meeting point, I joked, "Are you sure you can really ride the SUP?"

On the day of the tour, it was clear and 20°C, but since it was winter, there were only the two of us participating. The morning SUP experience turned out to be a private session.

When we arrived at the calm river, we were greeted by the beautiful mangrove scenery typical of Okinawa. After a brief lesson, we finally got started! I took off first in the canoe, watching my wife struggle to get on the SUP from my canoe with a grin. To cut to the chase, she got the hang of it instantly. I was a bit disappointed as I had expected her to flail around a bit!

The SUP experience lasted about an hour. We saw mangroves, birds we had never seen before, wild vegetables that looked delicious when tempura-fried, and fish visible in the clear river. Our young guide was knowledgeable and fun to talk to, and before we knew it, time flew by.

That day, due to the influence of the "new moon," we couldn't go to the Blue Cave in the afternoon, but winter in Ishigaki Island is indeed tough. Based on my experience, summer might also be challenging, but I think you need to be prepared for sea activities from December to February.

初めての石垣島、残念ながら冬の２月なのでどこまで海のアクティビティが楽しめるか心配でしたが、妻のたっての希望で本ツアーを申し込みました。44歳のインドア派の私は心配なのでカヌー、47歳の妻はやる気満々でSUPを選択。「大丈夫か〜、本当にSUP乗れるか？」なんて話ながら、待ち合わせ場所でガイドさんを待ちました。当日は快晴で20℃だけど、さすがに冬なので参加者は私たち2人だけ。午前中のSUP体験は貸切開催となりました。

穏やかな川に到着すると、沖縄らしいマングローブの景色。簡単な講習を受けてから、いよいよ開始！私は慣れたカヌーで先に出て、妻がSUPに乗るのをカヌーの上からにやにや眺めていました。結論から言うと慣れるのは瞬殺。乗れずにバタバタするのを期待していただけに少し残念www

SUP体験は1時間ぐらいだったでしょうか。マングローブや、見たことない鳥や、天ぷらにしたら美味しそうな山菜や、スケスケの川に見える魚を見たり、ガイドのお兄さんも若いながらもいろいろ勉強していて楽しく会話ができ、あっちゅう間に時間が過ぎました。

この日は「新月」の影響で、午後の青の洞窟に行けませんでしたが、やっぱり冬の石垣島はキツいですね。経験談で言うと、逆に真夏もキツそうですが、12月〜2月の海遊びは少し覚悟がいると思います。

It was a day with high waves, so I was told we might not be able to go out to sea, but as evening approached, it calmed down and we were able to experience it. The sunset and the sea were beautiful, and it was the most stunning sunset I've ever seen in my life! I was so moved that I almost cried... When I paddled the sea kayak, I got the hang of it and felt like I could get hooked on it✨ The staff were very kind, had interesting stories, and even took photos for us, which made me very satisfied! When I come back to Okinawa, I heard they also offer diving, so I definitely want to try that!

波が高い日だったので海には出れないかも…とのことでしたが夕方になるにつれ落ち着いてきて体験できました。
サンセットと海が綺麗で人生でみた夕日のなかで1番でした！！感動して少し泣きそうになりました…
シーカヤックも漕いだら進む感覚がわかってハマりそうでした✨
スタッフの方もとても優しくて話もおもしろく、写真も撮っていただけて大満足です！！
また沖縄にきたときはダイビングもされてるそうなので是非やってみたいと思います！

I'm glad I got to see the mangroves! Since I went with a group, it was really lively, and we had fun competing with each other as we experienced it with eight people! I want to try the sunset again!

On the first day, we went hiking to see Jomon Sugi. It was a place I had always wanted to visit in my life, located in Yakushima. The hotel pickup was around 4:30 AM. Instead of a hiking bus, we arrived at the Arakawa trailhead in a van. We set off on the trolley road around 5:40 AM to visit Jomon Sugi, and we returned around 4:30 PM. Including sightseeing and breaks, it was a challenging round trip of 11 hours, but the effort to see it was absolutely worth it. I had the image of Yakushima as a tropical paradise, but the path became snowy from the middle of the trolley road, and once we started the hike, it turned into a snowy trail. I heard that the trail had been closed until a couple of days before we used it, so I was glad we could visit Jomon Sugi as planned. I think it's possible to go on your own, but if you're not used to hiking, I recommend joining a guided tour. Along the way, we received detailed explanations about points of interest that you might not notice on your own and the beauty of Yakushima's nature. On the second day, we hiked to Taiko Rock. While the Jomon Sugi course took a total of 11 hours, the Taiko Rock course took about 6 hours. Although it was shorter than Jomon Sugi, most of the path was a hiking trail, making the climb to Taiko Rock quite tough. However, once I stood on Taiko Rock and gazed at the beauty of Yakushima's mountains and the horizon at eye level, all my fatigue disappeared in an instant.

１日目は縄文杉を見に行く登山でした。人生で一度は訪れてみたい場所である屋久島の縄文杉でした。ホテルピックアップは４時３０分頃でした。登山バスではなくバンタイプの車で荒川登山口に到着しました。朝５時４０分頃、トロッコ道を出発して縄文杉を見学し、戻ってきたら１６時３０分頃でした。見学や休憩を含めて往復１１時間の大変な道のりでしたが、その苦労をして見に行った甲斐は十分にありました。屋久島は南国のイメージがありましたが、トロッコ道の途中から雪まじりの道になり、登山を開始すると雪道になりました。利用した前々日くらいまでは登山道を封鎖していたそうなので、縄文杉を予定どおり見学できて良かったです。個人でも行けると思いますが、登山に慣れていない場合、ガイドさん付きのツアーに参加した方がいいと思います。途中、個人では気づけない見学ポイントや屋久島の自然の素晴らしさについて丁寧に説明をしていただきました。２日目は太鼓岩まで登る登山でした。縄文杉コースが合計１１時間に対して、太鼓岩コースは合計６時間程度でした。縄文杉よりも時間は短かったですが、道中はほとんど登山道なので、太鼓岩を目指すのもきつかったです。ただ、太鼓岩に立ち、屋久島の山の美しさと、目線の高さの水平線を眺めたら、疲れは一気に吹き飛んでしまいました。

I couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but thanks to the instructor boss and the handsome guy, I had the best day ever.

青の洞窟はいけませんでしたが、インストラクターのボスとイケメンお兄さんのおかげで最高の一日にさせていただけました。

I had an amazing experience with snorkeling and exploring a limestone cave! During snorkeling, I was able to see various fish, and I even met a family of clownfish! The instructor also explained the different types of fish to us. Unfortunately, we missed the chance to see a sea turtle, but the beautiful ocean made it more than enjoyable!

We were guided on foot through the shallow waters to the limestone cave! It is said to be a sacred place where gods reside, and it was truly breathtaking inside! There are areas where photography is not allowed, so it's good to check with the instructor before taking pictures.

By chance, I was welcomed by a sea snake, which is considered a good omen!

I was very satisfied!

シュノーケルと、鍾乳洞の体験をしました！
シュノーケルでは、いろいろな魚を見る事ができ、クマノミ親子にも会えました！
インストラクターさんが、魚の種類の説明もしてくれました！
ウミガメには残念ながらタイミングが合わなかった様で会う事が出来ませんでしたが、海が綺麗なので十分楽しかったです！

鍾乳洞まで海の浅瀬を徒歩移動で案内して頂きました！
神様がいらっしゃる神聖な場所だそうで、流石中は圧巻でした！
撮影をしてはいけない場所もあるそうで、インストラクターさんが教えて下さるので、確認しながら撮影すると良いです！

偶然神様の遣いのウミヘビにも出迎えて貰い、縁起が良いなって思いました！

満足でした！

I experienced SUP for the first time this time!

That day, the wind was really strong, and I was worried that our tour might get canceled since another tour in the morning had already been canceled. However, they took care to ensure we could safely enjoy the experience despite the wind, and they guided us to a different location from the original point! We couldn't see the sunset, but it was still a lot of fun!

On the day of the event, I called to ask if we could change one person from SUP to a canoe, and they kindly agreed, allowing everyone to experience it together at the same place!

The instructor explained everything thoroughly, and I believe that even someone with very low balance skills can ride as long as it's their first time!

Although it's a sensitive time due to COVID, since it's a marine activity and we weren't extremely close to each other, I wasn't concerned at all!

I would love to try again on a nice day!

今回初めてSUP体験をしました！

その日は風が凄く、午前中の別のツアーがキャンセルされてしまったのもあり、こちらもキャンセルになるのでは？と不安になっていましたが、風が強くても安全に体験が出来るように配慮して頂き、元のポイントから別の場所に変えて案内して頂きました！
夕日は見れませんでしたが、十分楽しかったです！

当日に電話で、人数分SUPで予約していましたが、1人だけカヌーに変更出来ないかと相談させて頂いた所、快く承諾してくださり、全員同じ場所で体験する事が出来ました！

インストラクターさんが、丁寧に説明して下さり、初めてでもバランス感覚が極端に低くい人でない限り乗る事ができると思います！

現在コロナで過敏になる時期ではありますが、マリンアクテビティーですし、極端に距離が近い訳でもないし、私は気になりませんでした！

また天気の良い日にもう一度リベンジしてみたいです！

The guide was very kind and approachable, and thanks to them, I had the best first day of my trip, not only at the Night Safari but also learning about recommended restaurants and sightseeing spots in Ishigaki Island. The explanations about the creatures during the tour and about Ishigaki Island were very detailed, and I truly enjoyed it! I definitely want to participate again when I visit Ishigaki Island in a different season! Thank you very much!
