I realized that many people dive because mantas are found in deep waters with currents. Although we didn't get to see any mantas, the kind staff member took great care of us, and we had a wonderful time. I booked this plan to fully enjoy nature in a day and experience various tours. I was a bit anxious because I wasn't very confident in my physical stamina, but it turned out to be fulfilling without being overly exhausting! During the first stand-up paddleboarding tour, I was able to enjoy the mangrove forest, and in the next cave tour, I experienced the mystical scenery.

On the landing tour to the coral island of Barasu Island in the afternoon, I was grateful for all the photos taken! I was very satisfied with the guide's extensive knowledge and careful guidance, and of course, I was able to leave with great satisfaction from the natural beauty of Iriomote Island. The best course for playing from morning to evening! The plan that includes mangroves, a limestone cave, and landing on Barasu Island is not offered by other shops, allowing us to fully enjoy Iriomote Island. Since we did three tours, I was worried about my physical stamina, but even someone like me who doesn't usually exercise was able to have a great time.

There are many morning tours available, but I chose this afternoon tour because it allows you to have lunch first! It’s friendly for families with small children since you can take your time in the morning and have an early lunch before participating.

We first gathered at Ishigaki Port and then moved to the boat. Personally, I found the boat to be very clean, possibly the cleanest I’ve experienced in any tour so far! After about a 30-minute boat ride, we finally arrived at the Phantom Island! The weather was great, and the sea was a beautiful emerald green.

Next up was snorkeling! The staff provided a thorough explanation of how to use the fins and snorkel, so even someone like me, who isn’t a strong swimmer, was able to snorkel without any trouble! The underwater scene was truly like an aquarium, with beautiful yellow and blue fish swimming around, creating wonderful memories. This is an experience you don’t often get, so I highly recommend it!

朝ゆっくりして早めの昼ごはんを食べてから参加できるので、小さなお子様連れなどにも優しいのではないでしょうか？

I came to Ishigaki for the first time. I wanted to explore the surrounding islands, so I went to Iriomote Island. I heard that Iriomote Island is rich in nature and is called the "Galapagos of the East," so I signed up for a tour to experience nature.

The impact of the heavy rain disaster in May and the onset of the rainy season, along with unstable weather and delays at the time of departure, filled me with anxiety as I set off for Yakushima. Arriving at Yakushima Airport was a miracle, especially since it was a connecting flight. It was also miraculous that the mountain bus service resumed on the day of trekking, and despite heavy rain the night before, the weather was clear that day—truly a miraculous start to the trekking adventure.

However, I felt a sense of reassurance from the words of our guide, Shimozono-san, who said, "It will be fine. Let's do our best to go as far as we can."

On the day of the trek, I teamed up with my friends and two young women, making a group of four. "Today is the best," said Shimozono-san. With the June sunshine filtering through the deep green foliage, even though we were sweating, the breeze was refreshing. He helped us manage our pace as trekking beginners, and we successfully reached Jomon Sugi. The miso soup he prepared for our lunch was comforting.

We also took many great photos. Although I had continuously declined invitations to trek to Jomon Sugi, the sense of accomplishment of "I did it too" was overwhelming. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories.

５月の豪雨災害の影響と梅雨へ突入、地元出発時の気象の不安定と大雨で遅延と条件付きと、不安材料満載の中で屋久島へ出発となりました。屋久島空港に到着も奇跡、しかも乗り継ぎで。トレッキング当日に登山バス運行が再開となったのも奇跡、前日は夜間も大雨だったのに当日は晴れたのも奇跡で、ホントに奇跡尽くしのトレッキングの始まりでした。
しかし、前日にガイドのシモゾノさんからの「大丈夫でしょう。行けるところまでがんばってき行きましょう。」というお言葉になぜか安心感がわきました。
当日は友達と、他に二人の若い女性との４人でトライしました。「今日は最高だよ」とシモゾノさん。６月の晴れ間で深緑の隙間から光がさし、汗をかいても風が涼しく、長ーい道のりをトレッキング初心者の４人のペース配分して下さり、無事に縄文杉までたどり着くことが出来ました。用意してくださった昼食のお味噌汁浸みました。
いい写真もたくさん撮れました。
誘いを拒否しつづけてきた縄文杉トレッキングでしたが、「私でも出来た」という達成感は半端なかったです。
良い思い出を本当にありがとうございました。

The morning mangrove stand-up paddleboarding was great, but in the afternoon during snorkeling, the guide forgot the marine shoes... which was a mistake. I had to walk on the rough road to the beach in flip-flops, causing blisters. I wore fins over the flip-flops and explored the Blue Cave in them, which really damaged my feet (￣∇￣).

If the marine shoes hadn't been forgotten, it would have been just a fun memory, but now there's also a painful memory added to it. That said, looking back, it has become a good memory.

I am giving this evaluation with hopes for improvement.

午前中のマングローブSUPまでは良かったのですが、午後からのシュノーケルで担当ガイドさんがマリンシューズを忘れる…というミスをしてしまいました。ビーチに行くまでの悪路をビーサンで歩き、鼻緒が靴擦れ。ビーサンの上からフィンをして、青の洞窟の中もビーサンで散策と、かなり足にダメージが(￣∇￣)
マリンシューズの忘れ物がなければ楽しい思い出だけでしたが、痛い思い出もプラスされてしまいました。
とはいえ、今となればそれも良い思い出ですが。

My first trip to Eastern Hokkaido with my mother. To fulfill our wish of "wanting to ride a canoe in the Kushiro Wetlands," we deliberately planned an individual trip instead of a group tour with a travel agency.

The conditions for the canoe tour were twofold: "to be able to ride the canoe for as long as possible on a basic tour course" and "to have pick-up available near Kushiro Station since we wouldn't be driving." Based on these conditions, we applied to Healing Canoe Kushiro.

On the day of the tour, it was an unusually hot day for Hokkaido, but it was sunny with light winds, which I think were good conditions for canoeing. The refreshing sound of the water, the breeze crossing the surface, and the various bird calls from afar and nearby were all very pleasant.

I felt so relaxed and healed that I wanted to just drift along... Our guide, Mr. Ichinose, a local from Kushiro, was very attentive and fun, allowing us to feel safe and comfortable. I definitely want to visit again during this beautiful fresh green season and experience the different expressions of other seasons.

母と訪れる初めての道東。
「釧路湿原でカヌーに乗りたい！」という希望を叶えるため、旅行会社の団体旅行ではなく敢えて個人旅行を計画しました。
カヌーツアーの条件は「ベーシックなツアーコースで出来るだけ長時間カヌーに乗っていられること」と「車を運転しないので釧路駅近辺の送迎が可能なこと」の2点。
この条件にかなって今回ヒーリングカヌー釧路さんに申し込みました。
当日は北海道にはあり得ないほどの暑い日でしたが晴れて風も弱く、カヌーには良い条件だったと思います。涼やかな水の音、水面を渡ってくる風、遠くから近くから聞こえる様々な鳥の声など、とても心地良かったです。
このまま漂っていたい…と思うくらいリラックスして癒されました。
釧路っ子のガイド、一戸さんのアテンドはとても丁寧で楽しく、安心してお任せすることができました。
ぜひまた新緑の美しいこの時期、そして表情を変えた他の季節も訪れたいと思います。

It seems that Kabira Bay can be rough, so we ended up doing mangrove SUP, but it was very calm, which I actually preferred!

I participated in a tour that included mangrove stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), exploring a limestone cave, and landing on Balas Island.
The other guests were also first-timers at SUP, but they were able to stand up, so it might be okay even if you don't have much time for exercise (^｡^).
The limestone cave trek was also a serious adventure and fantastic!
It was a full day packed with activities!

I really wanted to go to Kabira Bay and the Blue Cave, and I found this tour just in the nick of time! Thank you for accommodating my last-minute reservation ^_^

At first, I made a reservation through another site, but I was kindly informed over the phone that booking through VELTRA would be more advantageous. The instructor on the day was also very polite, and I was able to easily enjoy both SUP and snorkeling for the first time. Despite it being June, the weather was nice, and I was able to reach Taiko Rock in the heat! The mossy forest along the way was the setting for "Princess Mononoke"! I was so happy! After that, there was a steep slope, and I worked hard to climb through the pathless area, leading to an incredible view!! It was a reward view that only those who put in the effort could see!
