I was moved by the incredibly clear and transparent sea. I think this is the most beautiful ocean I have ever seen in my life. It was truly the best day, being able to snorkel in the Blue Cave and do stand-up paddleboarding in Kabira Bay. I also took a lot of wonderful photos, creating memories for a lifetime. Both of us were inexperienced with SUP, so we were quite nervous, but once we got on, it was surprisingly stable, and we were able to ride smoothly (there's a briefing on how to ride and paddle at the beginning of the tour). It was an activity I had always wanted to try, so I was very satisfied to have such a valuable experience in the beautiful sea (since our bottoms and feet got wet, I think it's a good idea to wear quick-drying sportswear). The snorkeling was also conducted carefully, allowing us to enjoy it with peace of mind (there was a free rental for wetsuits). It was my first time seeing so many fish at once, and it was truly moving. Additionally, the guide was attentive and checked on us frequently to see if we were tired, which left a strong impression. The fact that they provided a tour briefing the day before and gave us photos during the tour is also a plus. Above all, the guide was very pleasant from the moment we met and made a genuine effort to ensure we had fun, which really showed. Thanks to that, we made great memories. I'm grateful.

I also saw a clownfish for the first time.
After a break, I had a SUP experience at Kabira Bay. The SUP experience was easier than I expected, and by the end, I was able to maneuver it freely!
The guide took beautiful photos throughout, and at the end, they gifted them to us, so I was happy to have those memories captured!

However, thanks to our guide's support, who adjusted to our pace, we managed to reach Jomon Sugi.

By the time we arrived, we were so worn out that we barely had the energy to take photos, but the sense of achievement gave us the motivation and strength for the return journey. During lunch in the rain, our guide provided a simple tent to shield us from the downpour. I am very grateful for the guide who carried heavy luggage while assisting us.

御朱印帳を書いていただいてるときにも、お待ちくださり、二時間半の観光なのにゆっくりとできました。
夕方からは雨になりましたので、万燈籠の送迎をお願いいたしました。ご一緒に回ってくださり助かりました。
雨で道が滑りやすい中、常に足元を気にして下さりありがとうございました。
おかげで効率よく見ることができました。
万燈籠はとても幻想的で素晴らしかったです。ご本殿に行くまでの道のりを歩いていくうちに神聖な気持ちになっていきます。
おすすめの、興福寺の豆まきにも行き、長寿の豆を頂いてきました。
次の日は、晴れたので奈良まちを観光。おすすめの世界遺産元興寺にも行きました。本当に無駄のない旅ができありがとうございました。

On the trolley path, I crossed over the river several times in the dark. The moon was beautifully reflected on the water's surface. The guide was a local person. トロッコ道では、暗い中、川の上を何度か横切ります。丁度、月が水面に映って綺麗でした。
ガイドさんは、地元の方でした。質問に対して丁寧に説明して下さり、喋りすぎず、寡黙すぎず、そして、ガイドさんの地元愛を感じることができ、会話も楽しかったです。

残念だったのは、縄文杉は20mくらい離れた距離からしか見ることができなかったこと。10年前に縄文杉を見たという友人の話では、もっと近くから観れたそうで…木が弱っているとガイドさんからも伺いました。

行程ですが、トレッキングと言うよりハイキングの方が近い表現かと…後半の方では、息の弾む勾配もあります。とは言え、歩幅の合わない神社の急な階段とか、地下鉄大江戸線の上り階段を一段跨ぎで上がることが出来れば、支障はない気がします。

装備について…
普段からストックを使わない人はレンタルする必要はないと思います。また、ヘッドライトでなくても、首から下げるタイプのライトでもOKでした。
冬トレッキングなので、アンダーギアに気合を入れましたが（吸汗速乾保温効果あり）、私にとって保温効果機能は不要でした…。上に登るほど小さい氷柱があったり、水溜りに氷が張ったりしていましたが、動くのですぐ汗をかきます。

I conveyed this to our guide, S, and they really allowed us to walk at a slow and leisurely pace. We had plenty of time for photography, and during our breaks, we enjoyed the island's citrus fruits. We thoroughly enjoyed three hours in the mystical forest. This tour made me want to challenge myself to reach Jomon Sugi next time. It might not be enough for those who are young and physically fit, but I highly recommend it for those who want to take a leisurely walk.

基本的には、シャワーなどに使用するお湯は節水したいから最後だけと決まってるみたいですが、常連さんっぽい方達は小まめにシャワーしてたのを見ていたので、ふーん。という感じでその場を去り、どうしよう。。と思っていたらAさんが再度「使いました？」と声をかけてくださったので、結局温水シャワーを使うことができました。
声をかけてくださって凄く助かりました。
その後もBさんは人種差別とも受け取れる内容の発言を日本語でしていて、聞いていて(聞きたくなくても聞こえてくる)すごく不愉快でした。
私は今後利用することは無いですが、親切なスタッフさんが多く、バイリンガル、トリリンガルのスタッフさんが多いみたいなので、外国人の方も安心して楽しめると思います。

I set off with a headlamp (which is essential) from Shiratani Unsuikyo in the early morning darkness to reach the summit. Along the way, my knees hurt and I reached my peak fatigue, but with the experienced guide, Shimozono, by my side, I had the trust that as long as he was there, I would return safely, and I walked until the end. I am truly grateful. The weather was also favorable, making it the best experience.

各ポイントでの滞在時間も丁度良く、大石林山ではあせることなくルートをのんびり写真取りながら歩けました。奇岩と展望が見れるコースは、通常なら一時間掛かるのですが、思いの外早く回れたのでガジュマルを見にもう１つのコースへも足を伸ばし、結果全てのコースを80分という枠内で回りきれました。若手の方やある程度の健脚なら全コース見れると思います。美ら海水族館はイルカショー開催時間に間に合う様なプランニングだったのでしょうか。到着して程よい時間にイルカショーがスタートするので、見ることも可能です。水族館３時間の枠は余裕があったので私は水族館先にあるエメラルドビーチへも行き、景色を楽しむ事ができました。現地ガイドさんが気さくて沖縄愛に溢れた素敵な方でした。お水一本のサービスも嬉しかったです。有難うございました。

I was worried about whether I could make it since I don't usually exercise, but with the strong support of my guide, Mr. A, I was able to go without any major injuries. Of course, I experienced muscle pain and felt exhausted at times, but I was deeply moved and energized by the ancient trees that have stood there for thousands of years. I was amazed by the strength of life and the greatness of nature in the forest, where moss grows on fallen trees, new life sprouts, and new generations are passed down over the years. It started with a low energy level due to the light rain and cold weather, wearing a raincoat and carrying an umbrella, but the rain eventually created a mystical atmosphere that seemed to wash away my worries; it truly felt like a blessing. While the Jomon Sugi was impressive, I was also moved by the Wilson stump along the way. Inside the Wilson stump, there was a hollow space with a shrine, where the mountain god resided. Looking up at the sky, I saw a heart-shaped cloud that made me feel happy. The small heart along the return trolley path also warmed my heart. The trek, lasting over 11 hours, felt a bit harsh for a beginner like me, but it filled me with an overwhelming sense of emotion and accomplishment, giving me confidence that I can do anything and motivating me to live. I was able to have a very precious experience, adding another unforgettable memory to my life.

1枚目の写真は憧れの縄文杉。これを見たくて22キロ頑張って歩いた。普段、運動をしないので辿り着けるか心配だったけど、同行ガイドのＡさんの心強いサポートがあり、大きな怪我もなく無事に行ってこれた。もちろん筋肉痛になり、途中しんどい…と思う事もあったけど、何千年もそこに変わらずあり続ける巨木たちに深い感動とパワーをもらった。切り倒された木に苔が生え、新しい命が芽吹き、新たな命が何年も受け継がれる森の営みに生命力の強さと自然の偉大さに圧巻された。小雨が降り寒い中、カッパと傘を着用していたのでテンション低めのスタートだったけど、その雨さえも途中からは神秘的な空間を演出してくれ、自分の心を洗い流してくれたようで、まさに恵みの雨だった。縄文杉も感動的だったけど、途中にあるウィルソン株にも感動した。ウィルソン株の中は空洞になっていて中に入ると祠があり、山の神様がいた。空を仰ぐとハート型の空がハッピーな気持ちにさせてくれた。帰りのトロッコ道の小さなハートもほっこりした。計11時間以上に渡るトレッキングは初心者の私にとって少し過酷にも感じたが、それ以上の大きな感動と達成感で満た
され、やれば出来るという自信と生きる原動力になった。とても貴重な体験をする事ができ、一生忘れない大切な思い出がまた1つ増えた。
