I was picked up from my hotel and arrived at the Marine House in about 10 minutes. After checking in, we took a bus for about 5 minutes to the dock. Once on the cruiser, we changed inside the boat, and the tour explanation began. They provided detailed instructions on snorkeling tips and rules at sea.
It took about 20 minutes to reach the snorkeling point. We quickly got ready and entered the water, and at first, the guide led us well, which was reassuring. Additionally, they took photos with a GoPro, lent us water guns, and filmed us jumping from the boat into the sea, providing excellent service. There was also always cold water and sanpin tea available on the boat, so staying hydrated was easy. The boat had restrooms and showers, so we could change right after snorkeling.
When we returned to the Marine House, they promptly took us back to the hotel, making it very easy to participate. The next day, I was able to download the photos taken at sea, which became wonderful memories. Considering the round-trip transportation and various services, I felt it was very cost-effective. I would like to participate in another tour.
滞在先のホテルまでピックアップしてもらい、10分ほどでマリンハウスに着きました。そこから受付をして、5分ほどバスに乗り船着場へ。
クルーザーに乗船後、船内で着替えてツアーの説明が始まりました。そこでは、シュノーケリングのコツや海上でのルールなど、懇切丁寧に説明してもらいました。
そこからシュノーケリングのポイントへは約20分ほど。さっそく準備をして海に入るも、最初はガイドさんがしっかり誘導してくれて安心でした。また、途中でGo Pro使って写真撮影してくれたり、水鉄砲を貸してくれたり、船から海への飛び込みを撮影してくれたりと、サービス満点でした。また、船内には冷たい水とさんぴん茶が常に飲める状態にあるので、水分補給もバッチリでした。他にもトイレやシャワーも船内にあるので、シュノーケリング後は直ぐに着替えなどできました。
マリンハウスに戻ると、直ぐにホテルまで送迎してくれて、ほんと気軽に参加できました。
そして、翌日には海で撮影した写真がダウンロードできたので、とても良い思い出になりました。
往復送迎や諸々のサービスを考えるととてもコスパが高いと感じました。
また別のツアーに参加したいと思いました。

I joined from Ishigaki Island, and the staff from Windmill were waiting for us at Uehara Port, making them easy to find! Since it was my first time canoeing, my husband and I opted for a two-person canoe, but by the end, I thought I could have done it alone, as we moved slowly while enjoying the scenery. The most concerning part was the 50-minute trekking! At first, there were a few steep sections, but the guide provided water breaks and explanations along the way, so even someone like me, who usually lacks exercise, was able to make it to the top! The lunch was delicious too! I was so impressed that they carried our lunch up the mountain for us.

石垣島から参加しましたが、上原港では風車の皆さんが待っていて下さり、すぐ見つける事が出来ました‼︎スタッフの皆さん、笑顔でさわやか〜！もーすでに楽しそうな予感です！
カヌーは初めてだったので、主人と二人乗りにしましたが、終わってみると1人でも大丈夫だったかな？と思えるくらい、ゆっくり景色を見ながら進んでくださいます。
1番不安だった、トレッキング50分！最初少しだけ急なとこも登りますが、ガイドの方が途中水分補給をしながら、説明しながら登ってくださるので、普段運動不足ぎみな私でも登りきれました‼︎お昼ご飯も美味しかったぁ〜！私達のお昼ご飯を背負って登って下さり感激です〜
ガイドさんは、山登りルートで救護用訓練もされてると聞き、すごいな！と同時に、日頃訓練してるガイドさんで安心だなと、風車さんを選んで本当に良かった！と思いました。

We participated as a couple in early June. My wife had been interested for a long time, and it was her dream to join the Takijō & Takitsubo course.
Since it was a weekday in early June, there were just six of us, including the guide, which was just right. I hear that many tourists visit during the summer vacation, making the course crowded, so if you want to take your time enjoying the scenery and listening to the sounds of nature, June is recommended.
The trekking had some challenging sections, but the guide made sure to include breaks and shared various stories about the island, making the time fly by. When we reached the top of the waterfall, the breathtaking view gave us an incredible sense of accomplishment!
We were also fortunate with the weather. It was sunny all the way to the top, and although we encountered some rain on the way to the basin, we were able to appreciate the rain as one of nature's expressions. When we arrived at the basin, the rain conveniently stopped, and seeing the Pinai Sara Falls up close while floating in the basin was magnificent, completely washing away our fatigue.
After that, we returned by kayak, and since it was low tide, we were able to view the mangroves and other scenery in a different way than on the way there. The guide provided timely and accurate information about the differences in the mangroves and the unique creatures and plants of Iriomote Island.
It was a very satisfying tour, and I would love to participate in another course if the opportunity arises. Thank you!
6月初旬に夫婦で参加しました。
妻が以前から興味を持っており、念願の滝上＆滝つぼコースへの参加でした。
6月初旬の平日ということもあり参加メンバーはガイドさん含めて6人とちょうど良いくらいでした。
夏休みになると多くの観光客が訪れコースも混むそうなので、ゆっくりと景色を眺め自然の音に耳を傾けたい方は6月がオススメです。
トレッキングは所々険しい箇所もありましたが、ガイドさんが随所で休憩を入れてくれたり、島について色々な話をしてくれるのであっという間に時間が経ち、滝上に着いた時にはその眺望の素晴らしさにこの上ない達成感を得ることができました！
天気にも恵まれました。滝上までは晴れ、後半滝つぼまでは途中雨にも降られたりしましたが、雨もまた自然が見せる表情の１つとして味わうことができました。
滝つぼに着いた時には都合よく雨も止んでくれ、滝つぼに浮きながら間近で見るピナイサーラの滝はとても雄大で、疲れも吹き飛びました。
その後、カヤックで戻ることになりますが、帰りは干潮ということでマングローブなどは行きとは違った形で景色を眺めることができました。
マングローブの違い、西表島の特産種の生き物や植物など、ガイドさんがほんとにいいタイミングで的確に案内してくれます。
大満足のツアーだったので、また機会があれば別のコースにも参加してみたいと思います。

For beginners in trekking! You will need more water than you think! Although the load will be heavy, it’s not worth compromising your health, so I recommend bringing "the amount you think you need + a little extra" drinks! (You can also purchase them at the Windmill office.)
It's not just about walking along the mountain path; there are many points where you will need to climb steep slopes by holding onto trees or rocks. It’s better to bring climbing gloves or work gloves! They will be quite helpful.
When paddling the canoe, you can't escape the sunlight! There’s nothing to block it in the middle of the river! It gets quite hot!! If you don’t want to get sunburned, a hat, sunglasses, and a rash guard are essential! This time I brought a thin hoodie, but it was so hot... カヌーは初体験、マングローブが生い茂る川を渡ることに恐怖がありましたが、最初にわかりやすいレクチャーをしてくださるので、ひっくり返るような危ない場面もなく 初心者でも十分に楽しむことができました。
トレッキングは、正直 想像よりもかなりハードでビックリ！！
先頭と最後尾にそれぞれスタッフの方がついて 足元や頭上の注意点はその都度しっかり伝えてくれましたし、終始 みんなの体調に気を配り、休憩を入れつつペースを調整しながら進んでくださったので、ハードだったけど安心してついて行くことができました。
ただ黙々と登るだけでは辛かったと思いますが、植物や動物など 西表島ならではのウンチク話も交えながらのトレッキングは、とても勉強になって楽しかったです！
ハードな道のりを登り終えた先にある滝上からの景色は最高でした！お天気に恵まれ、遠くの鳩間島まで見渡すことができました。
山の緑と海の青！ガイドブック以上の最高の景色が目の前にありました！
皆が滝上の景色を楽しんでいる間に作ってくださった八重山そばも絶品で、景色も相まって とっても美味しかったです！

下山して到着した滝つぼは、マイナスイオンに溢れていて気持ちが良かったです。あの爽快感、きっと忘れない！

滝つぼで身体が冷えたら、すかさず温かいお茶を出してくださって・・至れり尽くせりでした。
季節的に旅行者が少なく、カヌーも滝も ほとんど貸し切り状態だったこと！さらには、お天気も味方してくれて 西表島の晴れと雨を両方体験できたこと！なにより、さっきまで降っていた雨が 滝上や滝つぼ、カヌーなどの肝心なタイミングでは嘘みたいに晴れて 絶景を見せてくれたこと！すべてが最高の流れでした！！
★これから参加される方へ★
トレッキングが初心者の方！自分が思っている以上に水分を欲します！荷物は重くなるけれど、体調にはかえられないので「必要だと思う量＋α」のドリンク持参をおすすめします！（風車さんの事務所でも購入可能）
ただ山道を歩いて進むだけではなく、けっこうな斜面を 木につかまったり石につかまったりして登るポイントが多々あります。登山用の手袋 または軍手を持参した方がいいです！あるとかなり助かります。
カヌーを漕ぐときは、太陽光から逃げられません！川の真ん中は遮るものがありません！かなり暑いです！！焼けたくなければ、帽子・サングラス・ラッシュガードは必須！
今回 私は薄手のパーカーを持って行きましたが、暑かったのなんの・・やっぱり 専用のラッシュガード もしくは乾きやすく涼しい機能的な長袖を着ていくべきでした。勉強になりました。次回に生かします！
山道はトゲトゲした草もあるし虫もいるので、ケガをしないためにも ボトムスは動きやすい長ズボン もしくはスポーツ用のレギンスがオススメです。（靴はトレッキングに適した機能的なシューズを貸してもらえます。）
滝つぼは しぶきがすごいです。近くで写真を撮りたい方は、防水機能の付いたカバーを持参した方がいいかも。ウッカリ落としてしまう危険もありますし 山は突然雨が降ることも多いので、あるに越したことはありません。
（スタッフの方も写真を撮ってくれます。iPhoneであればAirDropを使って一瞬で送ってくれるので、事務所に戻ったらすぐに受け取ることができますよ！）

良いクチコミばかりだったので、正直「本当～？」と ちょっとだけ疑いつつ参加しましたが(ゴメンナサイ！) 最初から最後までずーっと楽しいツアーでした。
スタッフの皆さんは、みんな元気でニコニコ、良い方ばかり。
本当に西表島が大好きで、大切に守っているんだなぁ～と感じる場面が多々。とっても好感が持てました！
今回 大自然を存分に味わうことができて、西表島の魅力を 今までの何倍も何十倍も感じることができました。すでに「西表ロス」を感じています！

沖縄最終日にようやく晴れて、念願の慶良間諸島に行ってきました。一緒に行ったメンバーは初のシュノーケル。ウェットを逆に着るハプニングありw船で20分のナガンヌ島周辺に行きました。平日ということで、船貸切状態。音楽聞いたり、みんなでおしゃべりして楽しかったです。シュノーケルはというと、晴れたお陰で慶良間ブルーが綺麗すぎる。魚もいっぱいいました。念願の海亀と一緒に泳ぐ夢は叶わなかったけど、次回にとっておきます。スタッフの皆さんも気さくで半日ツアーだったけど、目一杯楽しめもした。船からジャンプも怖かったけど最高でした。次は体験ダイビングしたいです。

At the first point, there were fewer fish, but the coral was incredibly beautiful, and I was very moved. The coral looked like flowers blooming, which was lovely. Even though there were not many fish, there were various types, and we had a lot of fun.
At the second point, I was surprised to see a sea snake at first, but it quickly escaped into the rocks. We were able to see many cute yellow fish and a variety of colorful fish.
After that, we had lunch on the boat. It was filling and delicious. I was happy that we had warm miso soup. When some of our lunch trash blew into the sea due to the wind, Junna swam to retrieve it, which made me feel that the reason the coral and fish are so beautifully preserved is because they care for the ocean.
At the third point, we were thrilled to see a sea turtle right after entering the water. I was happy to get close enough to take a photo. For a brief moment, we also spotted a large creature that looked like a manta ray or stingray (it was faint, but I’ll include the photo). There were also clownfish.
We had a wonderful day. Junna and the staff were all kind, funny, and their camaraderie was evident. It was a fantastic team. Next time, I want to get my diving license and participate in diving. I wish Junna the best of luck in passing the diving instructor exam.
当日は夫婦と友人（男性２人と女性１人）で参加させていただきました。合計３ポイントをまわるシュノーケリングをしました。
第１ポイント目までは港を出航してから約１時間ほどで到着しました。波も穏やかで風が気持ち良くて移動時間も楽しめました。わたしたちはジュナさんのグループで行動しました。最初の説明から丁寧にしてくださり分かりやすかったです。
１ポイント目では、魚は少なめでしたが珊瑚がすごくキレイでとても感動しました。珊瑚がお花のように咲いていて素敵でした。お魚も少なめと言っても色々な種類がいてとても楽しめました。
２ポイント目では、まずウミヘビが登場して驚きましたが、すぐに岩陰に逃げて行きました。黄色の可愛い魚や色とりどりの多くの種類の魚を見ることができました。
その後、船の上でお弁当を食べました。ボリュームもあり、美味しかったです。温かいお味噌汁をついていたのが嬉しかったです。風で海にお弁当のゴミが飛んでいってしまった際にもジュナさんが泳いで取りに行ってくださって、海を大切にされているからあんなにも珊瑚や魚がキレイなまま保たれているのだと感じました。
３ポイント目では、入ってすぐに念願の海ガメを見ることができました。近くまで寄れて写真が撮れて嬉しかったです。一瞬でしたがマンタかエイのような大物も見ることができました。（薄っすらですが写真に写っていたので載せます）カクレクマノミもいました。
とても良い１日を過ごすことができました。
ジュナさんをはじめスタッフの方々はみなさま優しく、面白く、仲の良さが伝わってきました。素敵なチームでした。次回はダイビングライセンスを取ってダイビングでまた参加したいと思います。ジュナさんがダイビングのインストラクターの試験に合格することを祈っています。

As we leisurely paddled down the river in a canoe (the canoe ride back and forth was also fantastic; the view of Iriomote Island from the canoe was amazing!), my husband and I talked about wanting to come back again. It was a healing experience in nature and a great detox. I highly recommend it for those who are tired of city life.

On our first day in Okinawa, we chose a hotel with a pick-up service since we didn't have a rental car. There were two sessions, morning and afternoon, and we participated in the afternoon course from the very first day.

国際通りで昼ご飯食べ、ホテルまで迎えに来てくれて、初日から慶良間ブル-
の海でシュノ－ケルでした。送迎してくれるプランは少ないのでとても充実したプランがたてれます。
スタッフもたくさんいて、皆一生懸命働いてる感じがしました。
海の色はエメラルド色で綺麗で、この色が見れただけでテンションあがります。亀が優雅に泳いでいました。しばらくすると又違う亀が泳いでいました。
魚はそんなに、思ってたほどいなくて、餌付けもないので魚がすごいて感じはなかったです。普通です。
５月の平日なのでスタッフさんも忙しくないので、皆楽しそうに船が出るまで船から飛び込んでいいですよ～ゴムボ－トに乗って皆楽しそうに仲良さそうでした。
帰りは初日で疲れもあるので、那覇まで２０分高速船で寝ていました。
帰りもホテルまで送ってもらえてラクチンでとても良かったです。

On May 26, 2018 (Saturday), my son (22 years old) and I (55 years old) participated in the "Mangrove Canoeing + Trekking at Pinai Sara Falls & Above - A Jungle Adventure with Great Facilities and a Warm Lunch."
This was our first trip to Okinawa, and we had just arrived in Ishigaki Island two days prior. We were still unfamiliar with the area around the Ishigaki Island ferry terminal and, without having adjusted to the sudden 34-degree subtropical climate, we decided to head towards our final destination for this trip, Iriomote Island.
As we arrived at Uehara Port, filled with both anxiety and excitement, we immediately spotted a young man holding a "Windmill" sign. When we introduced ourselves, he greeted us with a big smile and said, "Yes, this way please."
From the first impression of this guide, I sensed that this tour would surely be amazing. Once we got into the car, the guide chatted with us as if we were old acquaintances, sharing various personal stories and information.
Upon arriving at the Windmill office, he quickly prepared boots and life jackets for us. His efficiency gave us the impression that the tour would be safe and secure.
When we reached the canoe launch site, we finally entered the mangroves of Iriomote. Along the way, the guide shared his extensive knowledge about the types of mangroves, their ecology, and other plants, which was truly impressive.
After getting off the canoe, during the trekking portion, we were amazed by his knowledge about the creatures of Iriomote, from lizards and turtles to gobies and flying foxes, as well as butterflies and longhorn beetles. He also shared stories about the time when coal mining existed and the history of Iriomote, never running out of topics to discuss.
When we spotted a Semaru Hako turtle, he was genuinely thrilled, and I could feel that he truly loves Iriomote Island from the bottom of his heart. While enjoying nature together with us tour guests, he was always attentive to our safety. On steep slopes, he carefully instructed us on how to ascend and descend, saying things like, "Start with your right foot and sit down..."
For lunch, he prepared warm Yaeyama soba for us. To treat us to a warm meal, the guide sweatily carried heavy supplies and dishes all the way up to the waterfall. It was incredibly delicious.
Even though it was still May, the temperature was 34 degrees. The guide mentioned that as summer approaches, his days would become physically demanding.

２０１８年５月２６日（土）、私（５５歳）と息子（２２歳）は「マングローブカヌー+トレッキング ピナイサーラの滝つぼ＆滝うえ 充実設備とあったかランチが嬉しいジャングル探検」に参加させていただきました。
そもそも、私たち父子二人は今回が初めての沖縄で、２日前に石垣島についたばかり。まだ、石垣島の離島ターミナル辺りしか知らず、いきなり３４度という亜熱帯の気候にも慣れないまま、「とりあえず、今回の旅の最終目的地である西表島を目指そう」ということで、上原港に向かいました。
不安と期待でドキドキしながら上原港に着くと、すぐに「風車」のボードを持った若いお兄さんが目に入りました。こちらの名前を名乗ると、「はい、こちらでございます。」と満面の笑顔で答えてくれました。
もう、このガイドさんの第一印象で、今回のツアーがきっと最高になるだろうと予感ができました。
車に乗り込むと、ガイドさんは、昔からの知り合いのように、あれやこれやと自分のプライベートなことも含めていろいろな話をしてくれました。
風車のオフィスにつくと、てきぱきとブーツやライフジャケットなど準備をしてくれました。この仕事の手際の良さで、ツアーが安全安心であるという印象を持ちました。
カヌーの乗り場まで来ると、いよいよ西表のマングローブに入っていきます。
途中で、途中で、ガイドさんは、マングローブの種類や生態の話、そのほかの植物の解説など、とにかく物知りで驚いてしまいました。

我々ツアー客と一緒になって自然を満喫しながらも、我々の安全に対する配慮も常に気を配ってくれました。急な斜面では、「ここは右足からで、おしりをつけて・・・」など、慎重に上り方や降り方を教えてくれました。
お昼には、暖かい八重山そばを作ってくれました。暖かいお昼ご飯をご馳走してくれるために、ガイドさんは滝の上まで食材や食器など重い荷物を汗だくになって運んでくれました。とっても、とってもおいしかったです。

とにかくガイドの声が小さい。豪雨(下山は雷雨)の中だからとかの問題ではない。参加者全員（私含め7人）に聞かせる気がまるでない。説明してくれてても何言ってるんだかさっぱり聞き取れなかった。歩いてる時も丸太の上とか根っこにはすべるから乗らないでって私は前から2番目だったから辛うじて聞こえたけど後ろの人は絶対聞こえてないと思う。滑って転げ落ちたらまじでどうする気なんだろう・・・。命にかかわることなんだからそういう部分だけでもしっかり大きな声でみんなに注意を促すべきなんじゃない！？
あと何分で休憩ですとか。あともうちょっとで縄文杉ですよとか何もない。ただひたすら歩くのみ。みんな疲れてるんだから励ましの言葉くらいかけられないのかな？友達は膝が痛い中一生懸命歩いてようやく縄文杉に到着。他のガイドは「よく頑張ったね。お疲れ様ー」って言いながらハイタッチしてるのにうちのガイドときたら、「写真撮るから早く並んで！！」って・・・。
無事下山して他のガイドがストレッチしてくださいねーって言ってるのを聞いてストレッチしたけど、お前も言えよ！って思った。まじで仕事しないおっさんだったな。
あぁ、本当につまらないツアーだった。また行くときはガイド付けないわ。歩くスピードどんなもんか分かったし。今回もほぼいてもいなくても同じだったから（笑）
ガイドの名前何だっけ？浦なんとかっていうおっさん。下の名前はゴンタ？
楽しいツアーは期待しない方がいいと思います。
