The location was amazing, allowing me to feel the beauty of nature and receive wonderful energy from the forest, with light shining from the trees in the back. It was definitely a great decision to join the bus tour from Naha, which is 100 kilometers away.

Unfortunately, the tour guide was lacking. The only greeting on the bus was "There is no guide on this bus," and they just handed out the guide receivers. They didn't mention anything about wearing seatbelts, which was included in the guide receiver audio.

During the tour, the only things they said were "Turn on the guide receiver" and "What time is the meeting?" They didn't say anything else at all, and there was no farewell at the end of the tour. The stay was short, and I felt rushed, as if they wanted to get back quickly.

It's disappointing because we're not just luggage... I was unfortunate with this tour guide, but I believe there are guides out there who have more empathy.

Aside from that, Manzamo, the former Oishi Forest, and the Yanbaru Kuina Forest (the staff there explained everything kindly) were all full of highlights. It's a place that you rarely get to visit, and it was a valuable experience. The seafood rice bowl for lunch was also delicious.

【ムダなところがひとつもない進行】

海のなかでは「ただ浮いている」つもりでも、徐々に流されていることがあります。私は気づかないうちにエンジンの方まで流されてしまい、係員から注意されて慌てて戻った場面もありました。潮の流れに逆らうのは大変なので、周囲の人々と船との距離を意識することがとても大切です。

【最後に】

I highly recommend it. I was a bit anxious about whether I could stand up on the SUP for the first time, but they taught me gently and carefully, and I was able to stand up and paddle smoothly! It was great to paddle to the fish spot and see through the clear board. On top of that, they filmed us with a drone and edited it into a music video that we received on our way back. I was truly moved by this. The staff were all very attentive and went above and beyond, and I definitely want to go again when I visit Miyako Island.

Our tour consisted of four people: two in a canoe and two on a SUP. The weather was cloudy and pleasantly cool.

The hotel pick-up was smooth, but once we arrived at the spot, we found water inside the canoe and had to wait for a replacement. As a result, the tour started about 30-40 minutes late, but we moved from the sea to the river on the canoe/SUP, got off to walk and explore up to the waterfall, and despite getting soaked in the rain along the way, it turned out to be a wilder experience than we expected, lasting just over two hours.

I found it very unpleasant when they mentioned the large group size and the age of some participants. Although they said to go at our own pace, it felt like they were trying to match the speed of the faster individuals on the way back, and it seemed they weren't paying attention to the surroundings. It felt like the goal was just to finish quickly. I wonder why we had to walk so fast when there was time after we arrived for other parties to return. I'm grateful that I was able to go and come back, but I ended up with a torn fingernail and blood-soaked socks because of the strain. I do not recommend it.

I participated in the snorkeling and Pumpkin Cave tour. The snorkeling was done in both rain and sunshine, but I was able to encounter sea turtles right away, making it a valuable experience. During the Pumpkin Cave tour, we kayaked to the cave, and it was quite active inside the cave as well, using our whole bodies (laughs). Although the weather was unfortunate due to the rainy season, I had an incredibly fun time. If it had been sunny, it might have been tough with the heat. As I mentioned at the beginning, despite the bad weather, I think it was a very good experience. There was no problem seeing the mangroves even in the rain. It was also a great experience that the guide took us on a route that was not usually accessible, possibly because the tour coincided with high tide. It was my first time doing SUP, and the guide's explanations were excellent, allowing both my spouse and me to enjoy it until the very end!

梅雨の時期のため、生憎の天気でしたがめちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。晴れてたら日差しで逆にしんどかったかもしれませんね。
