Kayaking was my first experience, and at first, I was nervous, but as I got used to it, I was able to enjoy the scenery.
It was also my first time holding a paddle, but I was glad I was able to move properly (laughs).
Canoeing was different from what I expected; it felt stable, so I wasn't scared at all.
I encountered crabs, birds, and a mongoose.
The guide's explanations were easy to understand and interesting.
I enjoyed listening to stories about animals and recommendations for shops, and I had a really fun time.
I was also able to take photos, creating great memories.
Next time, I definitely want to aim for the sunset!

カヤックは初体験で、はじめはドキドキでしたが、慣れてくると景色を楽しむ余裕も出てきました。
オールを持つのも初めてでしたが、ちゃんと進んで良かったです（笑）

落とすのが心配だったので、スマホを置いて乗りましたが、カヌーは安定して全然大丈夫だったので、スマホを持って乗り、写真をいっぱい撮ると良いと思います。

I made a reservation on the morning of the day. I received a confirmation call right after making the reservation, and it was great that the booking was confirmed smoothly. Tetsu, our guide, was amazing at leading us and took fantastic photos, for which I am very grateful. 😊 It was my first time canoeing 🛶 and snorkeling 🤿, but I received great instruction for both! I was looking forward to seeing sea turtles, but the cave tour from the canoe in the morning exceeded my expectations and was very satisfying. 🧐 I enjoyed Miyako Island all at once! I hope to do this again. ^_^

We participated for the first time as a couple. It was a tour that made us love the extraordinary and nature-rich place called Iriomote Island even more. I had a dream of doing stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Many SUP experiences have an age limit of 65, so I hurriedly made plans to go to Miyako Island. I chose this place because they offered clear boards and would take photos for us. During the experience, everyone was kind and provided gentle guidance, which made me feel secure as they were always there to support us. I thought it was great that one person was assigned to each group. The photos and video data we received were beautifully edited and truly moving works. I was surprised to receive such wonderful content on the spot, and it became a really great memory.

In the morning, I did stand-up paddleboarding, and in the afternoon, I went snorkeling. I made a reservation around 6 PM the day before, but shortly after, I received a call from the staff saying that due to rough seas, we couldn't go to the Phantom Island. However, they changed our plan to snorkeling, and I participated.
During stand-up paddleboarding, the waves were almost non-existent, and it was my first experience, but I didn't fall even once. I was able to paddle while standing and enjoy the scenery. The instructor pointed out a starfish, and I was able to see it. Depending on the weather, other participants were taking sun protection measures with hats, sunglasses, and leggings.
After about an hour and a half for lunch, we went snorkeling. The sea was a bit murky, but I was able to see many colorful fish, which was fun. Perhaps the tours to the nearby islands have clearer waters.
That day, for both lunch and dinner, I went to restaurants recommended by the instructor, and both were delicious. That night, I received photos taken by the instructor via LINE, allowing me to reflect on the memories. At the beach, there's a possibility of dropping your smartphone, so I think it's difficult to take photos by yourself.
The instructors were different for the morning and afternoon. Each shared stories about Ishigaki Island during the ride in the shuttle. The activities were enjoyable without requiring too much physical strength, and there were participants who were around upper elementary school age. It seems that the company also accommodates large groups like school trips.

前日18時ごろ予約しましたがその後すぐスタッフの方から電話がかかってきて海が荒れているため、幻の島にはいけないとのことでしたがそのままシュノーケルのプランに変えていただき参加しました。
サップでは、波がほとんど立っておらずはじめての体験でしたが一度も落ちなかったです。立ったままこいで景色を楽しめました。ヒトデもインストラクターの方にあそこにいるよーと教えていただき見ることができました。天候にもよるかと思いますが、他の参加者の方は帽子、サングラス、レギンスなどで日焼け対策されてました。
その後1時間半ほどの昼食を挟んでシュノーケルへ。
海は少し濁ってましたがカラフルな魚がたくさん見れて楽しかったです。もしかしたら離島のツアーの方が海はきれいなのかもしれません。
その日は昼食も夕食もインストラクターのかたのおすすめのレストランにいきましたがいずれも美味しかったです。
参加した日の夜には、インストラクターの方が撮ってくださった写真がラインで送られてきましたので、思い出を振り返ることができました。海辺だとスマホは落としてしまう可能性があるので自分では写真を撮りにくいと思います。
インストラクターさんは午前と午後で別の方でした。それぞれ送迎の車の中で石垣島のお話をしてくださいます。アクティビティはそれほど体力を使うこともなく楽しめましたし小学生高学年くらいの方もいました。
修学旅行生など大きな団体も受け付けている会社さんのようです。

I went in early November. Even though it's November, Ishigaki Island was still hot and humid enough to be considered summer, and by the end of the tour, I was quite sweaty. We got off about 30 minutes by car from Ishigaki Port and crossed through the jungle while searching for creatures, then went to the beach to see the starry sky. Unfortunately, the sky was somewhat cloudy, so we couldn't see the stars very well, but I was satisfied to encounter small coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and larger frogs in the jungle along the way. It's easy to go and you won't get wet, so I recommend it for those who love creatures and astronomy.

11月といっても石垣島はまだ夏といっていいほど蒸し暑く、ツアーを終えた頃には割と汗だくになっていました。
石垣港から車で30分ほど行ったところで降りて、ジャングルを生き物探しをしながら突っ切って砂浜で星空を見る、という内容でした。
生憎空が曇り気味だったため星空はそこまでよく見えませんでしたが、道中のジャングルではヤシガニ(小)、オカヤドカリ、大きめのカエルなどに会うことができて満足です。
気軽に行けてしかも濡れることはないので、生き物好き・天体好きの方におすすめです。

The pumpkin cave tour I was looking forward to was canceled due to waves at the meeting point. However, they quickly provided an alternative plan, and I joined a snorkeling tour on short notice. As a result, I had the incredible experience of encountering sea turtles four times and swimming with them, which left me very satisfied. I participated with two ladies in their 70s. I was worried about keeping up with the pace of others, so we opted for a private tour. Choosing a private tour was definitely the right decision. I had trained on low mountains, but it turned out to be harder than I expected. The trolley path was nice, but as soon as we hit the mountain trail, the steep climbs, stones, tree roots, and steep stairs were intimidating. Without the encouragement from our guide, I think I would have given up. Thank you so much, Wakisaka-san.
The joy and sense of achievement when I met Jomon Sugi is a lifelong memory. We were blessed with good weather, encountered deer along the way, and everything from Wilson's stump to the Great King Cedar was wonderful. I also appreciate the warm miso soup that was prepared for us during lunch. We took a lot of photos as well.
At the very end, about 30 minutes from the trolley path, I tripped over a sleeper and fell face-first. I only ended up with a bump on my head, so it wasn't serious, but it really reminded me not to let my guard down until the very end. Thank you so much, guide Wakisaka-san.

他の方のペースに着いていけるか心配だったので貸切ツアーにしました。
貸切で大正解でした。低山でトレーニングして臨んだのですが、思った以上にハードでした。トロッコ道は良かったのですが、山道になった途端の急登、石や木の根っこ、急な階段も怖かったです。
ガイドさんの励ましがなかったら心折れて諦めたと思います。脇坂さん、本当にありがとうございました。
縄文杉に逢えた時の嬉しさ達成感、一生の思い出です。天気に恵まれ、途中鹿さんにも逢え、ウィルソン株、大王杉どれも素晴らしかった。昼食時には温かい味噌汁も作って頂き感謝です。
写真もたくさん撮って頂きました。
最後の最後トロッコ道残り30分位の所で枕木に足を取られ顔から転んでしまいました。タンコブが出来ただけで大事には至らなかったのですが、本当に最後の最後迄気を抜いたらダメですね。
ガイドの脇坂さん、本当にお世話になりました。

Due to the approach of an out-of-season typhoon, the Pumpkin Cave and sea kayaking were canceled, but I was able to participate in the sea turtle snorkeling. I received a cancellation notice via email the day before and also received a phone call, allowing me to book only the sea turtle snorkeling, and the refund process was smooth. On the day of the tour, we departed early to enjoy the experience before the sea conditions worsened. Thanks to that, I was able to experience the beautiful sea in nice weather. The guide explained the beautiful fish and features of the ocean. They diligently searched for sea turtles, and I was able to swim alongside them. There were a few people, including myself, who were not strong swimmers, but the guide was attentive, allowing us to participate in the tour with peace of mind. The enjoyable time flew by, and it was such a wonderful tour that I wished it could have lasted longer. Thank you very much.
季節外れの台風の接近により、パンプキン鍾乳洞＆シーカヤックは中止となりましたが、ウミガメシュノーケリングのみ参加させていただきました。前日にメールで中止のお知らせと電話でも連絡をいただき、ウミガメシュノーケリングのみ予約することができ、返金の対応もスムーズにしていただきました。当日は海の状況が悪化する前に楽しめるよう、早めの出発となりました。お陰でお天気の中キレイな海を体感できました。ガイドさんはキレイな魚達や海の特徴の説明をしてくれました。一生懸命ウミガメを探してくれて、一緒に泳ぐ事ができました。私も含め泳ぎが不得意な人が数名いましたが、適宜気にかけて頂き安心してツアーに参加できました。楽しい時間はあっという間で、もっと長く体験したいと思えるほど素敵なツアーでした。ありがとうございました。

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time with friends in their 20s from Kansai.
While paddling on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) through the mangrove forest, which thrives in water, we had to get off and take a break at one point because the muddy ground was really sticky. Instead of being surrounded by trees, we were enveloped by the mangrove forest by the water's edge, which made us feel very connected to nature, and the gentle rocking on the water was quite pleasant.
As long as you don't fall in, you can safely use your phone in a waterproof case!
As for snorkeling, I couldn't imagine the water temperature in November, which is unusual for Kansai, but thanks to the wetsuit, I only felt cold when I first stepped into the water. We were able to see the clear sea, which is not something you usually encounter, along with many types of fish and corals, and as the title suggests, we even spotted a sea turtle! Since we were basically in the water, I was able to take photos underwater with my phone in a waterproof case!

11月の海が関西では有り得ないため水温の想像が出来ませんでしたが海に入る前も後もウェットスーツおかげか寒いなどの感想は海に足を入れた時のみでした。普段見ることは出来ない透明な海とたくさんの種類の魚やサンゴが見られ、タイトルのようにウミガメを見ることもできました。
こちらは基本的に海に浸かっているので防水ケースに入れた携帯なら水の中でも写真を撮れました！

I booked a SUP and snorkeling tour at Kabira Bay, but it was canceled due to rough seas. Instead, I was offered a mangrove canoe tour on the Miyara River.
Although the changes in pricing and meeting location were handled the day before, they were very courteous, and I was able to enjoy the tour safely on the day itself, which was great! However, while the original plan was for a full day tour, the mangrove tour ended up being only about an hour long. The guide's stories during the tour were enjoyable, and canoeing was easy, so it was fulfilling but went by quickly. I would love to participate again on a sunny day!

ただ、1日かけてツアーを行う予定でしたが、マングローブツアーは1時間ほどで終わってしまいます。ツアー中のガイドさんのお話も楽しく、カヌーは簡単に乗れたので、充実していますがあっという間でした。次は晴れた日にも参加したいです！

I joined Matsuura's tour by myself! The explanations were thorough, and I was able to take a lot of photos. The wind was strong, and the weather was quite rough, and I was worried since I had zero snorkeling experience, but thanks to Matsuura, I felt safe and had a great time. During a business trip, I stopped by Ishigaki Island and was looking for fun tours besides island hopping when I accidentally found this tour.
The drive took about 30 minutes, but during the ride, I heard various enjoyable stories about Ishigaki Island and personal anecdotes, and before I knew it, we had arrived.
I was worried about the weather, but I was moved to see both a starry sky and the creatures of nature. I think there may be days when the starry sky is not visible due to the weather, but even just listening to the guide's stories was enough to enjoy the experience, making it well worth participating. As others have shared, the tour itself is 100% perfect, but the guide's personality and explanations make it 120% perfect. I confidently recommend it.
At the start, I was asked to sign a consent form for participating in the tour, which made me a bit worried about what dangerous places we might be going to, but we walked for a few minutes through a dark and rugged jungle while searching for creatures, and there were children around 7 to 8 years old participating, so even small children can join with peace of mind.
This tour made me love the nature-rich Ishigaki Island even more.
P.S. The photos taken by the guide were on a smartphone, yet they were very beautiful, showcasing a professional-level smartphone photographer.
仕事の出張ついでに石垣島に立ち寄り、離島めぐり以外に何か楽しそうなツアーがないか探していたところ、偶然見つけたのが、こちらのツアーでした。
車で30分ぐらいの移動ですが車中では、石垣島情報や個人情報までいろいろ楽しい話しを聞かせてもらい、アッという間の到着でした。
天候が心配でしたが、満点の星空に自然界の生き物、どちらも見ることができ感動的でした。
天候しだいで星空も見ず残念な日もあると思いますが、ガイドさんの話だけでも十分楽しめ、参加する価値ありです。他の方の体験談でもあるようにツアーそのものは1０0％完璧なのに、ガイドさんの人柄や説明が楽しく120％完璧すぎるツアーです。自信をもっておすすめします。
出発時にツアー参加の同意書のサインを求められ、どんな危険な所に行くのかちょっと心配になりましたが笑、
生き物を探しながら真っ暗で険しいジャングルを数分、砂浜まで歩きますが、７～8歳くらいの子供さんも参加していていたので小さな子供さんも安心して参加できます。
今回のツアーで自然豊かな石垣島がもっと好きになりました。

The staff were very kind and taught us how to paddle a kayak from scratch. They supported us while we were out on the sea, showing us where we could see fish clearly and taking lots of photos for us. At the end of the tour, we received the photos and drone footage, which became wonderful memories of our trip! I'm really glad I participated in the tour. Thank you so much! ✨

The guide took us to a spot where there were many coconut crabs, and I was able to see several of them, fulfilling my long-held wish. I also encountered many rare creatures, so I'm glad I chose this tour. The guide also took photos of the animals for us. I heard that it would have been a beautiful area for stargazing if the weather had been clear, so I would like to try again on a sunny day. Thank you for the wonderful tour!

I had a great time learning about the diverse and unique nature of Yakushima from our knowledgeable guide, Mr. Ichikawa, who shared interesting stories. I was very satisfied to see not only the Yakushima deer and Yakushima macaques but also the Yakushima gecko, and my awareness of plants and forests has changed. If you want to discover more about the fascinating aspects of Yakushima beyond just the Yakusugi, I highly recommend participating!

I still can't forget the blue of the sea in Miyako Island. I had the best experiences with both SUP and snorkeling. I definitely want to use these services again when I visit Miyako Island.
