I believe it was related to the tide, but we first went snorkeling at the coral reef and then headed to the Phantom Island. The staff were very kind, and I am especially grateful to the captain for even filming a video of Nemo for us.
At Phantom Island, it's essential to wear sandals or marine shoes to avoid injuries, but if you place your hands on the white sandy beach, pieces of coral can prick your hands and hurt, so if you have marine gloves, it's a good idea to wear them for safety. If you're aiming for Instagram-worthy photos, you can take off the gloves just for that moment.
Finally, when we returned to the port, the captain's docking skills were incredible and left me in awe. To land perfectly at that speed is truly impressive!
おそらく潮位の関係だと思いますが、最初にサンゴ礁でシュノーケル、その後に幻の島へ行きました。
スタッフの皆さんがとても親切で、特に船長さんにはニモの動画まで撮っていただき大変感謝しています。
幻の島では怪我をしないようにサンダルやマリンシューズが必須ですが、白い砂浜に手をつくとサンゴのかけたものが手に刺さって痛いので、マリングローブがある方はつけておくと安心です。インスタ映えを狙うならその時だけグローブを外す感じで。
最後、港に帰着するときの船長の着岸が神業で感動しました。あの速度で一発で決めるなんてさすがですね・・。

I participated in the 2-hour course. Although it rained, the time flew by and we had a lot of fun. The course included areas that felt like a dense jungle, and the children were very happy. I joined during the waiting time before my flight home, and it turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected; I'm glad I participated in this tour.
After reaching the endpoint by canoe, all participants took a van back. On the day of the event, four families participated, and I think there were a total of 12 people, including children. Due to the rain, we boarded a single closed vehicle to return to the starting point. Two families knew each other and spent the entire ride talking and laughing loudly, which made me concerned about the risk of COVID-19 infection. There were no COVID-19 prevention measures in place.

2家族が知り合い同士で、この2家族が到着までずっと大声で話したり笑ったりしていて、コロナの感染が心配でした。
コロナ感染対策が出来ていなかった。

I had a great time! The staff were also very friendly. Personally, I recommend adding water activities in addition to snorkeling! Also, there were quite a few people who got seasick, so I think it would be better to take motion sickness medication to enjoy it more.

People in their 30s and 60s took on the challenge. I was a bit worried about my stamina, but while listening to Mr. Tawaki talk about the history and formation of Yakushima, as well as various plants and animals, I was able to enjoy myself energetically throughout the experience. The forests of Yakushima are incredibly captivating, and I was constantly moved by the beautiful surroundings.
In the afternoon, we moved by car to the river to experience kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Since it was a hot season, the cold river was the best. Although it was murky due to the rain, the scenery was fantastic, and gently swaying in the kayak was very pleasant.
Next time, I plan to hike deeper into the forest!
The ground in the forest can be slippery and uneven, so trekking shoes are recommended. I saw some people in town shoes, but it seemed a bit tough for those who weren't used to it. Thick tights might be good as insurance in case you slip and fall, and they also help prevent insect bites. Additionally, make sure to bring a drink for both the forest and the river, as there aren't many vending machines or convenience stores around.

雨の後だったので濁ってはいましたが、景色は最高でカヤックでゆらゆら揺れるのは心地よいものでした。
次はもっと奥の森まで歩きに行きます！
森の中は滑りやすかったり、足元がデコボコしているので、トレッキングシューズがおすすめです。
すれ違う人でタウンシューズの人もいたのですが、慣れていない人には少し辛そうでした。
滑って転んだ時の保険として、厚手のタイツが良いかも。アブにも刺されにくいです。
また、飲み物は森と川で一本ずつ持って行かないと、自販機やコンビニなどが頻繁には無いので詰みます。

On the second day of our trip, we were worried about the typhoon on August 26. However, we were blessed with good weather and went out to the sea at Sesoko. I had my first experience with parasailing and banana boating, both at over 60. I was filled with anxiety, especially since I'm not great with heights, but parasailing was incredibly comfortable. The banana boat was also a lot of fun. It was the best experience!

This was my sixth trip to Okinawa, and I finally got to visit Yanbaru. Since tours can lose their charm in the rain, I had been hesitant to book one. On the day of the tour, it was partly sunny and cloudy, but thankfully it didn't rain.
The area around Kunigami Port Shokudo offers beautiful views of the ocean. Many people quickly finished their meals and took photos.
At Daichi Forest, there is quite a bit of walking, so women might want to avoid delicate sandals. Also, the tour content is somewhat subdued (more suitable for adults), so those with small children might enjoy places like the Churaumi Aquarium much more. The Yanbaru Kuina was just sitting in the corner and hardly moved.

雨だと魅力半減なツアーなので、なかなか申し込めませんでした。
当日は晴れたり曇ったりでしたが、雨は降らず助かりました。
国頭港食堂の周辺では海がとてもきれいに見えます。

ヤンバルクイナは隅っこでじっとしていてほぼ動きませんでした。

Initially, I had planned to experience the Blue Cave, but due to the weather, it was changed to snorkeling with sea turtles. However, it turned out to be a highly satisfying activity, and I enjoyed the entire day! The instructor was very supportive, especially for beginners, so even if you're scared of the ocean but still want to try, you can enjoy it with peace of mind. They are also very friendly, which helps ease any tension and lift your spirits.
The Pumpkin Cave is accessed by kayaking to a small cave entrance from the sea, and I was amazed by the mysterious scenery that you wouldn't expect from the outside. It made me feel like an adventurer, and the grandeur of nature brought an incredible sense of excitement and accomplishment for everyone, regardless of age.
During snorkeling, I was able to see sea turtles up close, and having photos taken from angles we couldn't capture ourselves became a wonderful memory! I definitely want to do it again. For those visiting Miyako Island for the first time and unsure of how to spend their time, I think this is just perfect.

シュノーケリングはウミガメにしっかり会えましたし、自分達では撮れないアングルの写真を撮ってもらえるのは最高の思い出になりました！またやりたいです。
宮古島初めて、どう過ごそうと悩んでいる方には丁度良いと思います。

It was sunny while we were on our way to Jomon Sugi, but unexpectedly, rain fell that wasn't in the weather forecast, so we had to use our folding umbrella.
We had planned to go to Taiko Rock in Shiratani Unsuikyo, but as the weather worsened and the river rose due to the rain, we changed our plans and ended up trekking to the Mossy Forest instead.
Tsugimachi-san adjusted the walking pace to match our physical condition, and along the way, he shared fun stories and quizzes with us. Thanks to him, what could have been a silent and challenging trek turned into an enjoyable experience!
It was a fulfilling trek where we could connect with the great outdoors, something we don't usually get to experience!
縄文杉へ行く最中は晴れていましたが、途中天気予報にはなかった雨が降り、折りたたみ傘を使用しました。
白谷雲水峡は太鼓岩まで行く予定でしたが、天候が悪くなって雨で川が増水して帰れなくなってはいけないと、予定を変更し苔むす森までのトレッキングになりました。
津曲さんには、私たちの体調に合わせて歩くペースを合わせてもらったり、道中では楽しいお話しやクイズをしてもらったりしました。おかげで無言であれば大変だったであろう道中も、楽しくトレッキングすることができました！
日頃、体験できない大自然に触れることのできた充実したトレッキングでした！

I've been to Okinawa many times, but this was my first time kayaking. I felt a bit nervous but also excited when getting on the boat. As we smoothly glided to the middle of the river, I enjoyed the refreshing breeze and the sound of chirping birds. I even heard a Japanese bush warbler singing. We saw mudskippers, banyan trees, and even a mongoose! I wanted to go a little further, but reluctantly turned back... At the very end, my partner wobbled while getting off the boat and ended up getting splashed! I recommend bringing a full change of clothes. It was a fun experience, thank you!

At the start of the tour, it began to rain, and we could hear thunder. The guide checked the weather information and adjusted the schedule, showing flexibility and ensuring a safe start to the tour. After a while, the skies cleared up, and we were able to experience the nature of Miyako Island. Of course, we also got to see sea turtles (two of them) and wild clownfish. The guide was very knowledgeable about the sea turtles. At the end of the tour, we received information about restaurants in Miyako Island, which was a nice bonus for us as tourists. I thoroughly enjoyed the calm and clear sea. It was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but they taught me very carefully, and I was able to have fun. This was my fifth time snorkeling, including overseas, but the sea in Miyako Island was exceptional. I regretted not discovering Miyako Island sooner. The coral and fish were right there. I even got to see a sea turtle. This is definitely a tour you can participate in with peace of mind. I was very satisfied! Thank you very much. I'm already planning to come back next year.

It was a clear day in August, and thanks to the guide managing hydration, calorie intake, and walking speed, I was able to complete the walk without any strain. They shared little stories at points that could have been boring, which helped me maintain my focus while walking! I don't think I would have been able to walk this comfortably without the guide.

The tour to Yufushima on a water buffalo was wonderful; the buffaloes were incredibly cute and very soothing. We had time to stroll leisurely, which was relaxing! The SUP was also enjoyable, as the guide explained everything thoroughly, making it easy to have fun even as a beginner! I was very satisfied to see the mangroves up close. I will definitely use this service again next time!

I experienced snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but I was told that I wouldn't know which one would come first until the day of the event. In the morning, we went snorkeling, and in the afternoon, we did SUP. Both activities offered beautiful waters and fun staff, making for a great experience. I was also very happy that the photos were of high quality and provided to us right away.
Although the morning and afternoon sessions had separate lunch breaks, I asked the staff for recommendations on places we could go in our swimsuits, and they suggested a fantastic spot that I highly recommend. The staff for the afternoon SUP took photos while introducing various recommendations, which was incredibly valuable information for us as first-time visitors to Miyako Island! Thank you very much!
However, I was a bit disappointed because this product was advertised as a sea turtle snorkeling tour, and I had expected a high chance of seeing sea turtles. Unfortunately, we were told that there were none at the beach we visited that day. Still, the experience itself was very enjoyable and a wonderful time!

Gradually, I got the hang of it, and by the end, I was able to enjoy searching for fish on my own. The guide took a lot of photos without me even realizing it, and it became a wonderful memory. It was a night tour, and I participated with two children who were scared even of a haunted house meant for toddlers. They were excited during the car ride with the explanation that we might see pythons or wild boars, but once we arrived, they became engrossed in searching for creatures while shining their flashlights around. We were able to find coconut crabs, crabs, hermit crabs, scorpion-like creatures, and lizards. During the tour, everyone turned off their lights to look at the starry sky, and I was amazed by how many stars were visible.
ナイトツアーなのに幼児向けのお化け屋敷すら怖がる子供２人を連れての参加でした。車移動の時からハブや猪が出るかもしれないという説明に子供はドキドキでしたが、現地に着いたら懐中電灯で周辺を照らしながら夢中になって生き物探しをしていました。
ヤシガニ、カニ、ヤドカリ、サソリもどき、トカゲ、色々見つけることができました。
ツアーの途中、全員ライトを消して星空を見るのですが、星の見える数が多すぎて驚きでした。

The veteran staff skillfully brought together a diverse group of families, international guests, and solo travelers, creating a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. It's about a 10-minute walk to the river, so it’s not a hassle at all. At first, it took quite a bit of courage to jump in, but I gradually got used to it, and by the time I was leaving, I felt a bit reluctant to go. It was my first time on Iriomote Island, and I appreciated the help with dinner arrangements. I had a really great time. Thank you very much, Yuma!
ファミリー、外国からのお客さん、ひとり旅の方とバラエティに富んだグループをベテランのスタッフの方が上手くまとめて和気あいあいとした雰囲気で楽しめました。川までは歩きますが10分ほどなので苦にはなりません。最初飛び込む時はかなり勇気がいりましたがだんだん慣れてきて帰る頃には名残惜しくなるくらいでした。初めての西表島だったのですが晩ごはんの心配もしていただき助かりました。本当に楽しかったです。ゆうまさんどうもありがとうございました！

It was my first experience with snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding, and the instructors were very kind and taught us well, making it a very enjoyable time! Although I didn't encounter any sea turtles, it was a tour that I thoroughly enjoyed! I want to try again when I come back to Miyako Island!
