On July 15, 2024 (Monday, a holiday), it rained all week due to the rainy season, and it started to rain again in the second half of the day, but I didn't mind at all! The water level was high, and it took a lot of energy to hold my ground. I ended up with quite a bit of muscle soreness afterward! However, this experience is fun no matter how many times you do it!

First, we gathered at the base camp by car. There, we put on wetsuits, boots, helmets, life jackets, and harnesses, and then we set off. We drove to the river, parked the car, and made our way down to the river. We walked upstream in the river, and when we reached a point where we couldn't go any further, we detoured by climbing the mountain. We kept climbing, getting swept away in the upstream river, jumping in, and connecting ropes between rocks to reach the middle, where we detached the rope and made a vertical dive. We tied ropes to the rocks and descended the cliffs like firefighters rappelling down a building. It was thrilling, full of laughter, and we got swept away multiple times. I'm a repeat visitor, and I never get tired of it! The instructors were attentive to safety and made it bright and fun! It was the best experience.

2024年7月15日（月）祝日　梅雨でこの週ずーと雨で、当日も後半雨降ってきましたが全く気にならなかった！水量が多めで踏ん張るのが中々体力いったのか？終わってから中々の筋肉痛！
しかしこの体験は何回いっても楽しい！
まずはタオベースキャンプに車で集合。そこでウエットスーツ、ブーツ、ヘルメット、ライフジャケット、ハーネスなど付けて、さあ出発自分の車で川までいって、車停めて川まで降りていく。川の中を歩きながら登っていってその先川登れないところは山登って迂回。どんどん登っていってからの上流の川で流されたり飛び込んだり、岩と岩にロープ繋いで真ん中まで行ってからの自分でロープ外して垂直落下ダイブ。岩にロープ繋いでからの岩崖を消防士がビルをロープで降りるみたいに降りていったり。とにかくスリル満点、爆笑ズッコケ流され等など。リピーターですがあきないよ！インストラクターもしっかり安全見ながらの、明るく楽しい！最高でした。

I participated in this tour on Iriomote Island for the first time. The guide had extensive knowledge about the creatures, which was very educational. Normally, it's difficult to enter the jungle at night, but I felt safe walking with the guide! The starry sky was bright due to the moon, but I was still able to see plenty of beautiful stars. The guide also took us to the night sea, which was enjoyable as well. I was thrilled to see a large coconut crab on the way back! Thank you very much!

初めての西表島でこちらのツアーに参加しました。ガイドさんの生き物知識が豊富でとても勉強になりました。普段なら入ることが難しい夜のジャングルですがガイドさんが一緒だったので安心して歩くことができました！
星空は月が出でいて明るい空だったようですが、充分綺麗に星がみれました。またガイドさんが夜の海にも案内してくれてそちらも楽しかったです。

We made a reservation for four people the day before, and we received a prompt confirmation. Since Kawahira Bay tends to have strong winds, we chose a canoe experience that we could enjoy with peace of mind, and it was incredibly fun to canoe in such beautiful weather! The guide was a wonderful person who was very pleasant, and during the transportation, they shared interesting tidbits about Ishigaki Island. The local instructions were clear, and we were able to take many great photos. Thank you very much. It became a wonderful memory of Ishigaki Island. I would like to use this tour again.

家族4人での前日申込でしたが、すぐに予約OKの回答をいただきました。川平湾が風が強まる傾向にある環境とのことで、安心して楽しめるカヌーを選択しましたが、晴天の絶景のなか体験するカヌーはとても楽しかったです！

It was a very enjoyable and content-rich two hours.
I could hear the cries of the black rabbits among the animals that appeared in the pitch black, and the sky was filled with stars with few clouds.
On the forest road chosen by Mr. Kawashima, many black rabbits and Amami woodcocks welcomed us, and I was also able to see the rare Amami ishi-kawa frog.
While it can be affected by the weather and other night tours, I highly recommend this tour guided by Mr. Kawashima for 1 to 2 people.

I have always wanted to see Jomon Sugi, which is said to be visible only to those who are called. This time, that opportunity finally came! The round trip trek to Jomon Sugi took 10 hours. Walking through the rugged forest with its uniquely resilient cedar trees in a world of exceptional environment, I was occasionally hit by rain that felt like a waterfall, accompanied by thunder. However, thanks to our guide's careful and precise guidance, I was able to meet the long-awaited Jomon Sugi. When we arrived, the rain had temporarily stopped, and the magnificent and robust sight of the cedar was breathtaking. A sense of camaraderie developed among the members of the tour, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment.

The next day, at Shiratani Unsuikyo and Taiko Rock, the rain I had worried about had cleared up, and since the distance was shorter, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the forest while listening to the guide's stories. The mystical moss-covered forest truly felt like the model for Princess Mononoke. The last 10 minutes heading to Taiko Rock reminded me of the hellish trek from the previous day, but the spectacular view from Taiko Rock, along with the miraculous appearance of a double rainbow, doubled my excitement. The guide's detailed explanations and the fun stories that made me forget my fatigue made the tour fly by.

I walked more in these two days than I ever have before, but I was able to spend an unforgettable time filled with memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. I definitely want to recommend this experience to my friends and acquaintances when I return.

呼ばれた人しか見られないとも言われている縄文杉をいつか見に行きたくて…今回その機会が訪れました！縄文杉まで往復10時間のトレッキング。世界でも特異な環境にあって逞しく植生した杉や険しい森を歩く中、時折雷が鳴り滝行？かと思うほど雨に打たれましたが、ガイドさんの丁寧且つ的確な案内のお陰で念願の縄文杉に会うことが出来ました。着いた時には一時的に雨も上がり壮大でたくましい杉の姿は圧巻でした。同じツアーの方達とも戦友愛みたいなものが生まれ(笑)達成感でいっぱいです。
翌日の白谷雲水峡〜太鼓岩は、心配していた雨も上がり距離も短いことから、ガイドさんの話を聞きながら森の中をじっくり堪能することが出来ました。幻想的な苔むす森は、もののけ姫のモデルになった場所というのも納得です。太鼓岩へ向かう最後の10分間は、前日の地獄○丁目を思い出しましたが、太鼓岩から眺める絶景に加え、奇跡的にダブルレインボーも現れ感激も倍増しました。ガイドさんの詳しい説明やポイント事に写真を撮って頂く等、また疲れを忘れさせる楽しいお話のお陰でアッという間のツアーでした。
この2日間で過去にないくらい歩きましたが、一生忘れることのない思い出深い時間を過ごす事ができました。帰ってから友人、知人にも是非勧めたいと思います。

I participated on the night of June 26, 2024. We formed groups of about ten people, with one guide assigned to each group. The guide was cheerful and created a fun atmosphere, making it a very enjoyable tour! Additionally, the guide had extensive knowledge not only about coconut crabs but also about insects and plants, making it a tour that both adults and children can enjoy!

As shown in the photos from the tour, we were able to see 2 to 3 large coconut crabs. I believe being able to see wild coconut crabs up close is one of the highlights of this tour. Furthermore, at the rest stop along the way, we were able to see a beautiful starry sky. It was a sky full of stars that you definitely can't see in the city, and my wife was very delighted!

Miyako Island offers plenty of ocean activities, but I highly recommend this night tour as well!

10人程度で1グループとなり、1グループに1人ガイドさんが付いてくださる形でした。
ガイドさんは明るく楽しい雰囲気でガイドしてくださり、とても楽しいツアーでした！
また、ヤシガニだけでなく昆虫や植物などの知識も豊富で、大人も子供も楽しめるツアーだと思います！
ツアーでは写真を載せている通り、大きなヤシガニを2〜3匹見ることができました。天然のヤシガニをあの距離で見れるのは、このツアーの醍醐味だと思います。
さらに、途中の休憩場所ではとても綺麗な星空を見ることができました。都会では絶対に見られないような満点の星空で、妻も大変喜んでいました！
宮古島では海のアクティビティが豊富ですが、このナイトツアーもとってもおすすめです！

The detailed explanations and consideration were very good. It was a bit disappointing that the starry sky wasn't great due to the half-moon on the day, but that couldn't be helped given the schedule. I'm grateful that even the elderly were able to comfortably take part.

After a lecture on how to use the snorkeling goggles and taking photos on the beach, we swam for about two hours. In the first half, we swam at a spot where we could see sea turtles, and in the second half, we were taken to a spot with lots of fish. I was able to see sea turtles about 5 or 6 times, and there was even a moment when I saw four at once, which made me very happy! The moment when the sea turtles surfaced for air was especially cute.

I was worried about being able to swim after not snorkeling for 10 years, but the staff member Matsuura was very kind and taught me well, making it a really enjoyable experience! They also quickly sent the photos and recommended many shops.

Since I was floating for almost two hours, my back got really sunburned! I recommend reapplying sunscreen thoroughly just before getting in the water. Haha!

シュノーケルのゴーグルの使い方のレクチャーや浜辺での写真を撮っていただいた後、2時間ほど泳ぎました。
前半は海亀が見れるスポットで泳ぎ、後半は魚がたくさん見れるスポットへ連れていってくださりました。
海亀も5〜6回ほど見れ、同時に4匹見れる瞬間もあり大満足です！
海亀が呼吸のために海面から顔を出す瞬間が特に可愛かったです。
10年ぶりのシュノーケルで泳げるか不安でしたが、スタッフの松浦さんが丁寧に教えてくださり、とても楽しい経験となりました！
写真もすぐに送ってくださったり、おすすめのお店も沢山教えてくださりました。

2時間弱浮きっぱなしになるため、身体の背中側がめちゃくちゃに焼けました！
日焼け止めの塗り直しは直前に念入りにすることをおすすめします。笑

I was alone, but there were a few other people like me, so I didn't mind at all. Canyoning was a first-time experience for me. I thought the half-day course might be a bit lacking, but it turned out to be very fulfilling. The guide skillfully adjusted to the pace of the senior couple, allowing us to take on challenges that we wouldn't normally experience! I recommend the half-day course because it also allows you to make good use of the remaining time. Plus, the guide took a lot of photos, which made for great memories.

On my last day of a spontaneous solo trip, I decided I wanted to experience the beautiful blue sea, so I called to sign up for same-day participation. They were very accommodating, and as a result, I had a fantastic experience!

Although I had some hesitations about being alone, once I joined, the staff were friendly and approachable, and the other participants were also welcoming. It was a lot of fun to chat with everyone while listening to the guide's explanations in the cave. By the way, there were many international participants, and the guide spoke fluent English.

I've visited several caves during my travels, but this was my first time seeing Pumpkin Cave. While the cave itself isn't very large, the guide's stories were fascinating, and both the cave and the blue sea were amazing!

I highly recommend this experience not only for friends but also for solo travelers. The presence of canoes allows you to pair up with others, which adds to the fun :) The guide also takes photos and videos, which is a nice keepsake.

There were participants who couldn't swim and even small children. I think it's great for those who want to see and do a little bit of everything without it being too challenging, like exploring the cave, canoeing, and jumping.

ノープランのひとり旅で最後の一日、やっぱりせっかく来たしあの青い海に入りたいと思い電話で当日参加申込でした。柔軟に対応いただき、結果とても良い体験ができました！
一人だと色々若干ためらうとこではあったのですが、参加してみたらスタッフの方も気さくに話しかけてくれたり他の参加者の方もフレンドリーで、鍾乳洞でのガイドさんの説明を聴きながらみんなで話したりとても楽しかったです。ちなみに海外の方も多く参加されており、ガイドさんも英語ペラペラでした。
旅先で鍾乳洞はいくつかいったことありますが、パンプキンは初めて見ました。鍾乳洞内はそれほど大きくはないですがガイドさんのお話も興味深く、鍾乳洞も青い海も最高でした！
友達とはもちろんのこと、ひとり旅の方にもぜひおすすめです。カヌーがあることによって他の方とペアになるのでそれも面白いと思います:)ガイドさんが写真や動画をとってくれるので、それも記念になるのでうれしいです。
泳げない方や小さなお子さんも参加されてました。鍾乳洞、カヌー、ジャンプなど、難易度高すぎずでもちょっとだけ色々見たいやりたいみたいな方にもいいと思います。

I want to try marine activities for the first time in Miyako Island!
But my husband is not good with the ocean...
Despite that, we chose this activity!
After a little practice with kayaking, we set off!
It was a windy day, so we were slightly carried away if we weren't paddling, but even as beginners, we were able to paddle easily.
They took a lot of drone footage and photos, and we received the data right there, which was great.
We also got a digest movie, so we can look back on it later!

One thing to note is...
You will get wetter than you expect!!
We laid down a bath towel in the car on the way back...
If you're concerned, I recommend bringing a change of clothes!

It was my first time in Shiretoko, and I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the guide's explanations and support were pleasant, making it a quick and enjoyable experience. In the end, I was lucky enough to see a wild brown bear as well. I would love to go again.
