I had been using a rental car whenever I visited Okinawa, but this time I decided to try a bus tour since it was convenient not having to drive. At the Churaumi Aquarium, we had 2 hours and 30 minutes, which allowed us to fully enjoy the whale sharks and the dolphin show. At Ryukyu Village, we had 1 hour and 20 minutes, and we were able to see the Eisa performance as well. Both attractions included admission, so I felt it was a great deal. We also stopped by Manza Beach and Hoshino Resort's Banta Cafe, and it was very efficient to visit various places. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

今まで沖縄に来るとレンタカーを利用していましたが、バスツアーは運転する必要がなく楽なので、今回初めて利用しました。美ら海水族館では２時間３０分の時間があって、ジンベイザメやイルカショーをしっかり観れましたし、琉球村では１時間２０分の時間があって、エーサーもしっかり観れました。また両方とも入場込みだったので、大変お得だと感じました。万座毛と星野リゾートバンタカフェにも寄れましたし、効率的に色々な処を廻れて、とても良かったです。有難うございました。

I participated with a foreign friend. It was convenient and nice that they took us from Nagoya to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. Since it was a holiday, there were about 25 groups from various countries, but the tour guide explained everything in Japanese, English, and Chinese, so we had no problems. It was a tour that, for better or worse, was just about being taken to the destination, but it was great that we could explore freely once we got there. The roads were congested, causing significant delays, but we were given a full two hours of sightseeing time at each location. Thank you for a meaningful experience!

外国人の友達と2名で参加しました。
高山と白川郷まで名古屋から連れていってくれるので、便利で良かったです。
連休だったので25組くらい色んな国の方が居ましたが、添乗員さんが日本語、英語、中国語で説明してくれるので問題なく過ごせました。
良くも悪くも「現地まで連れていってもらうだけ」のツアーなので、現地では自由に散策できて良かったです。道が混んで居てだいぶ遅延しましたが、観光時間はきっちりそれぞれ2時間取ってくれました。
有意義な時間をありがとうございました！

I booked a tour with my wife for a long-awaited trip to Hokkaido. Shortly after departure, there was a problem with the toll road in the central region, which required a change in plans. I participated in this tour to quickly visit nearby islands since I will be in Ishigaki Island for a few days. The bus driver's explanations in Iriomote were excellent, the lunch on Yufu Island was delicious, and the ice candy and star sand on Taketomi Island made for a dream-like day.

I traveled alone to Sapporo for some errands. I found a day tour that I could join since I had a free day. The weather was initially forecasted to be rainy, but by the time we arrived at Cape Kamui, the weather turned out to be quite nice, and I was able to see the beautiful Shakotan Blue sea! Since it was September, there were no bafun uni, but I was able to order some murasaki uni as an extra. On the way back, we stopped by a sake brewery, but I really wanted to visit a roadside station where I could buy local Hokkaido products. That was the only disappointment.

札幌へ所用で一人旅。1日予定が空いたので日帰りで行けて1人参加OKのツアーを探していてみつけました。お天気も雨予想がくつがえり神威岬に着くころにはまずまずの天気となりキレイな積丹ブルーの海が見れました！9月だったのでバフンウニはありませんでしたが追加注文でムラサキウニは食べれました。帰りに酒蔵へ寄りましたが、それよりも北海道の物産が買える道の駅に行きたかったです。そこだけが残念。

From the hotel near Kyoto Station, we visited Kinkaku-ji, Taki-an Temple, the Bamboo Grove, Tenryu-ji, and the area around Togetsukyo Bridge.

The English-speaking driver took us to all the requested locations, and we were able to have a fulfilling day within our limited time. It was very helpful that he not only drove us but also provided guidance within the facilities. He even took us to a hidden spot in the stone garden, which is a cherished memory. I appreciated the advice on souvenirs as well. Although we went over the scheduled time, he maintained a pleasant demeanor and guided us with a smile. I truly appreciated the service. I applied for this tour without knowing it was for Chinese tourists. I was the only Japanese person, and it felt like I had traveled abroad while being in Japan.

Without any prior notice, the guide started speaking in Chinese, and I began to worry that there wouldn't be any Japanese guidance. Fortunately, they provided the minimum information regarding the meeting place and time, but after that, I felt a bit neglected. It seemed like they assumed that since I was Japanese, I could manage on my own.

Just because I'm Japanese doesn't mean I know the places, and I wanted explanations about the history and locations. When I asked, "What is this place about?" the guide replied, "I'm Chinese, so I don't know. Other Japanese people research before coming, so I don't provide explanations." When I asked, "What kind of explanations do you give to the Chinese guests?" they said, "We don't convey much detailed history to the Chinese either; they are satisfied with just knowing it's a beautiful place."

I was surprised… with so many Chinese visitors, it was disappointing that nothing about Japanese culture was being conveyed, just the photo opportunities. It might be a cultural difference, and ultimately, I was satisfied with the itinerary since it allowed me to visit places I wouldn't have been able to on my own in a single day. This experience made me realize how diligent and passionate Japanese guides are.

The Chinese tourists in the tour were polite, quiet during meals, and punctual, so I didn't feel any discomfort in that regard. More than the content of the tour, the way the tour was conducted was quite different from what I'm used to in Japan, and that left a lasting impression on me.

何も告げられないまま、ガイドさんも中国語で話しはじめ、最初日本語のガイドはされないのではと心配になりました。
幸い最低限の集合場所、時間などの案内はしてくれますが、あとはほったらかし。
大勢の中国人相手しているんだから、日本人は自分でどうにかできるでしょう、といわんばかりの案内に少しガッカリしました。

日本人だからと場所のことを知っている訳では無いですし、歴史や場所の説明をして欲しかったのですが「この場所はどういうところなんですか？」と聞くとガイドさんは「私は中国人だからわからない、他の日本人は調べてから来るから説明はしてない」とのこと。。
「では中国の方にはどういう説明を？」と聞いたら「中国人にもあまり細かい歴史は伝えていない、綺麗な場所というだけで満足する」と。
ビックリというか…これだけ中国の方が来ているのに写真映えだけで、何も日本の文化が伝わっていないのかと残念でした。
文化の違いなのかもしれませんし、最終的には1人ではなかなか一日で回れないところを回ってくれるので行程には満足していますが、今回、改めて日本のガイドさんがいかに勤勉で熱心にガイドしてくれてるのかわかりました。
ツアーにいた中国人旅行客の方々は礼儀正しく、食事時も静かで時間も守ってくれるのでそのあたりには違和感ありませんでした。
ツアーの内容よりも、ツアーの仕方が日本のものとだいぶ違うのでそこの方が印象に残っています。

First of all, the tour itself was good. We were able to visit various places by bus in one day, which was convenient. However, the female guide was disappointing.

The first issue was when we arrived at each location. At first, it was manageable, but as the tour progressed, perhaps due to time constraints, she would rush ahead to the entrance, leaving the tour group behind, and wave from a distance saying, "This way!" Everyone was desperately trying to find the guide who had disappeared. I felt this only added to the time we spent searching for her.

The second issue was the obvious difference in how she treated people. She openly displayed her preferences. She was overly friendly and polite to foreign tourists, while she treated us Japanese tourists with indifference and gave curt responses. It's natural for anyone to have likes and dislikes, but I wished she would treat everyone equally in her professional role.

I believe she may not be aware of this, so I wanted to share my thoughts. It may seem like a minor issue, but I think it's important to make the most of our limited time during our trip. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste, but I would like to participate in a tour again, so I hope for improvements.

最初に。ツアーそのものは良かったです。バスで1日色んなところを周れたし、楽チンでした。
ただ、ガイドの女性が残念な感じでした。
一つ目は、各施設に着いた時。最初の方はまだマシだったけど、後半になってくると時間に余裕がなくなってきたのか、ツアー客置いてけぼりでさっさと一人で入場口まで行き、遠くの方から『ここですよ〜』と手を振ってる始末。皆、何処に行ったかわからんガイドを必死で探してました。これでは余計に時間が掛かってた様に思います。
二つ目は、明らかなる人に対しての対応の違い。自分の好き嫌いを分かりやすく表に出しておられました。特に外国人には凄く愛想よく親切過ぎるくらい丁寧な対応で、私達日本人観光客には適当な対応で、無愛想な受け答えをされてた人も他に見かけました。人間誰しも好き嫌いがあってもおかしくはないけど、仕事として皆平等に接して欲しかったです。
だぶん、自分ではお気付きではないのだと思いますので、この投稿をさせて頂きました。些細な事かも知れませんが、限られた日数、限られた時間いかに有意義に過ごすかは大切なことだと思います。今回は残念ながらあと味悪い旅行になりましたが、また是非ツアー参加したいと思いますので改善宜しくお願い致します。

After the end of the pandemic, I visited Noboribetsu and Lake Toya in Sapporo for the first time in a while, and I was saddened to see that all the hotels and souvenir shops that used to be there have closed down and disappeared. The Hell Valley was also desolate, with no people around, and my previous image of the place was shattered, leaving me disappointed. There weren't many foreign visitors either, which made it feel quiet and lonely.

コロナ明けで久々に札幌登別洞爺湖に行き今迄あったホテルやお土産物屋さんもみんな無くなってつぶれてさびれてさみしく思いました

I participated on September 29. I was first surprised that half of the participants were from China and that the tour guide was also Chinese. I was impressed by how fluently they explained in both Japanese and Chinese, and I felt they were a friendly guide. However, at each sightseeing spot, the pushiness of the shops was overwhelming, with the shopkeepers saying they would provide service because they knew each other, and I was personally pressured to buy things... I was disappointed to think that their kindness was just for this reason. It was a wonderful course, but when I said goodbye as I got off, I was ignored. Was it because I didn't buy the souvenirs they recommended?

9月29日に参加しました。中国の方が半分参加しているという事、添乗員が中国の方という事にまず驚きました。
大変流暢に日本語と中国語で説明してらして感心し、対応もフレンドリーな添乗員と感じましたが、観光地ごとに売店の売り込みが凄くて、売店の方と知り合いだからサービスするとか、個人的に売り込まれたり…。親切に接して来るのもこの為かとがっかりしました。
ステキなコース巡りだったのに…、下車する時挨拶したら無視されました。勧められたおみやげを買わなかったから？

I participated with my sister who came to visit from abroad. It was very enjoyable, but there was one unfortunate thing. After getting off the bus, there was quite a distance to the aquarium, and it was so large that we got lost. It would be helpful if the bus could stop a little closer. If that's not possible, I would appreciate it if the guide could lead us to the entrance.

On Taketomi Island, I was taken to a beach where I could find star sand. The bus driver showed me that it’s easier to find near the rocky areas. While leisurely beachcombing, I was able to find star sand and sea glass. During the water buffalo cart tour, a chatty guide introduced me to the charms of Taketomi Island and played Okinawan folk songs on the shamisen while singing along.

When crossing to Yubu Island on the water buffalo cart, we moved over the sea. Since it was low tide, there wasn't much water, but crossing over the water provided a different kind of enjoyment compared to Taketomi Island. At high tide, the water reportedly comes up above your feet. The lunch bento, Matsukado bento, was great as it allowed me to enjoy a little bit of Okinawan cuisine. On the Iriomote Island cruise, we were able to get very close to the mangroves and see various types of mangroves. Everyone provided attentive guidance, and it was a very memorable trip. The driver was very nice and took photos while explaining things. He guided us to see the spots in Shirahama from the best angles. The Sandanbeki Cave was impressive. We walked to the shoreline of Shirarahama, enjoyed the foot bath at Mifune, bought souvenirs at Uomasa Shoten, and had seafood bowls at Tore Tore Market. It was a very satisfying three hours.

Although we applied as a team of two, we actually participated in a 10-hour trek with a team of seven plus a guide. The team was mostly in their twenties, and we had great conversations. The guide provided explanations and engaged in casual talks that made for a very enjoyable time. We also had dedicated time to take photos, which helped us create lasting memories! We learned about mountain rules, the history of Yakushima, and knowledge about Yakusugi, making it a very satisfying experience. I would love to come back to Yakushima to see Jomon Sugi again. The weather and scenery were great, and it was very healing. It seems a fox appeared during the drive, and the driver and bus guide told us about it (I missed it, though, haha). If I had visited alone, I wouldn't have noticed many things, but the tour helped deepen my understanding. The cheese fondue for lunch was also excellent, and I was able to enjoy the melon and lavender soft serve that I had been curious about, so it was a very satisfying tour.

I participated alone in mid-September. I had always wanted to go, but driving a rental car can be tough, so day tours like this are a great help. Above all, the guidance from the tour guide along the way was very informative and added extra charm to the experience.

I was honestly worried about visiting the zoo since I had injured my knee before participating, but there was enough time to explore at my own pace, so I enjoyed it thoroughly. A friend who went to the zoo in August told me it was too hot to stay still during the peak summer, but the animals were lively and active since the weather was nice. I had a great time, including the entire day on the bus.

However, I think those aiming for the feeding time should not have high expectations as the timing may not align. I personally didn't mind at all, so I had a great time.
